Laying on the couch I hum watching Mom and Grandma arguing over who's in charge of thekitchen seeing Grandma slapping Mom's hands with a wooden spoon, while I chuckle ignoringmy uncle's rambling about all the perks if I joined him.
Hearing a knock on the door I get up seeing my cousin rushing for the door, taking offrunning I slam into him climbing his back before jumping off his face "move jackass" I orderbefore yanking the door open seeing the Possible family looking confused.
"Come in it's nice to have you visit" I say while smiling.
"Thank you, but why invite us" Mrs. Possible asks as I lead them to the living room makingsure to bounce off my cousin.
"Mom knows I tend to make people uncomfortable and wanted to do this to help everyonerelax since I'm Kim's partner now" I answer.
Seeing Kim tense at seeing my uncle I smile rubbing my neck "my grandma heard about thissome how, she then brought those two over I think it's because she likes watching us fight" Isay seeing her look confused but relax slightly when my uncle doesn't try to fight "oh that onthe floor is my cousin" I add seeing him glaring at me.
Mom finally gives up with the kitchen and comes out greeting them before getting to sitdown and talk "how's this work with eating?" Kim whispers.
"Since it's not the entire family there shouldn't be any fighting, unless Mom hears my uncletrying to recruit me but over food it's safe" I answer.
She nods before I lead her to my garage while ignoring her looking around shocked at thehouse, getting in I leave the door open before ducking under to mess with stuff "so you allmeet up with criminal family members and have a some what civil meal?" She asks.
"Yep, I've tried placing signs saying welcome to hell up when we do but Grandma caught meand that woman's age hasn't slowed her down a bit, she's smacked me with her walking stickI had caning marks across my ass for two days"
She comes under watching me as I take it apart "what happens if we have a mission and thisis still apart since you refused to accept rides?"
"Mom agreed to let me use one of G.J's as long as I don't wreck it since it's a prototype"
"What are you two doing?"
"Nothing Dad"
"Working on my jet" we both answer Mr. Possible's question.
"Need some help?" He asks.
"Sure you're welcome to help" I answer grunting as I catch part of the body and carry it out.
Seeing him duck under I place it down and go back under listen to him talk about all the messups.
Some time later
Sitting at the table I smile seeing Mom glare at me for having grease on my face and arms"Hector touch that and I take your hand" I warn seeing him go to take my steak from myplate.
Watching him yank his hand back I calmly start eating as the others talk, glancing at myuncle I raise my brow seeing him refrain from trying to recruit me again.
"So what made you pick Beth to help Kim?" Mrs. Possible asks.
"Kim is a talented fighter even without Ron's help since he was a distraction, Beth can fightor be a distraction her method is different from him she tends to scare, argue, or taunt"
"I've also played the lazy clueless kid that's oblivious to danger" I add hearing my unclegrumble.
"What?" I ask him.
"Blowing up my lab was not called for" he says frowning.
"It was, you decided to take me from school like a hostage then try to recruit me, you tookme to the lab and started bragging so I did what I always do" I answer shrugging.
Seeing the Possible family looks shocked mom sighs "what she means is she has been toeingthe line of genius and insane for years, she gets an idea and has to try it but my brotherrefused to listen when she repeatedly told him to take her home so she blew up an empty labafter dragging him out with her".
Two days later
Walking to the possible house I knock on the door and smile at Mrs. Possible "oh Beth wherehave you been?" She asks letting me in since I been coming around and the dinner she's lesstense around me.
"I was grounded since I took DNAmy out of her cell" I answer.
"Why?"
"I talked her into make me a pet with human intelligence"
"A pet?"
Nodding I move my jacket showing I have a tiny monkey on my back "I thought about a cat,dog or snake but then thought someone with human like hands was a better idea".
She smiles as I get it to come out and hold it in my hand "I named her Talia".
Letting her hold it I smile seeing her pet Talia smiling "why do this?"
Shrugging I lean on the wall "I don't know I just wanted a pet that was different but couldunderstand me plus now I can say I have a monkey on my back and it's true".
Hearing her laugh I smile as Talia climbs to my shoulder and sits down "well bubble-butt's inthe back yard".
Nodding I take off frowning and mumbling bubble-butt, stepping outside I see Kimpracticing "you're mom calls you bubble-butt and mine calls me pain in the ass" I say
watching her stumble slightly before looking at the house turning bright red.
Hearing her call out Mom I chuckle sitting down on the ground "do you want to spar?" Sheasks eventually.
Standing up I watch my monkey climb up the tree as I stand looking at Kim as she gets in afighting stance, sliding my leg back slightly and crouching I lift my hands motioning for herto come on.
Circling each other I kick at her seeing her jump back before we continue getting a feel foreach other.
After a few moments I swing with an open hand like claws seeing her frown watching me, Ichuckle as we keep going then fake a swipe at her before kicking out taking her legs outbefore pinning her.
Getting up I lazily start again seeing her look more confused as we continue till we both layon the grass out of breath "who taught you?" She asks.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you" I answer laughing slightly.
Kim looks at me frowning "tell me?"
"My mom, and my cousins one is world famous, she had another student that is now famousas well" I answer.
Getting up I glance seeing Mrs. Possible watching from the window "so did you go to anormal one?" I ask.
"Yeah I guess, you?"
"Nope, once I was old enough my training became randomly getting attacked by family till Imastered it, hell I still get it from time to time" I answer laughing.
"I never knew Doctor Director was so strange, she always seems so in control and calm"
"Mom is completely nuts like the rest of our family"
I smirk seeing Kim frown "do you want to do something fun?" I ask.
Seeing her nod slowly I jump up getting my monkey and motion her to come on.
Taking off I run till we reach the place I need, glancing at Kim I walk forward pulling a keyout and open the door.
Stepping in I look around seeing green and black everywhere "who's place is this?" Kim asks.
"My cousin's don't worry" I answer walking to the bedroom with Kim following me.
Getting in I chuckle walking to the movies pulling a few out and toss them on the bed "that'sa lot of Disney".
"Oh those are mine from when I use to force her to watch them with me"
Kim nods as I move stuff around slightly, once finished I head to the kitchen grabbing somesnacks and join Kim after putting in a movie.
"She's got a custom system" I add as the movie starts.
Some time later
Laughing we head out and I stop pressing a kiss to the wall leaving black lipstick behind andfollow Kim out seeing it's getting close to dark.
Sighing I glance around "I guess I should make sure you get home safe" I say before leadingher on.
"You don't have to"
Shrugging I smile at her "sure I do I brought you along and you watched my movies withme".
Kim smiles shaking her head "you act like you're so tough but you sat there and knew everyline for those".
"Damn right I do, I should win an award for being the biggest Disney fan" I say proudly.
