Kim pov
Laying in bed I sigh unable to sleep, I can't understand Beth she's far from who I wouldconsider a friend she dresses like a punk singer, she acts like she hates the world, how shespeaks is far different than myself or my friends even how she responds to her mom seemsdisrespectful but Dr. Director looks proud of how she acts even when she's frustrated.
Sitting up I sigh hearing Mom in the kitchen, getting up I walk down maybe she can help"hey Mom could we talk?" I ask seeing her making some coffee.
"Sure bubble-butt what's on your mind" she asks smiling.
"Beth"
She nods sitting down and motions for me to sit "she's an interesting girl" Mom eventuallysays.
"She took me to a cousin's house and we watched Disney movies" I blurt out.
Mom frowns looking at me "that's interesting I wouldn't have thought she still watchesthose".
Nodding I tap my fingers on the table "she reminds me of an animal I've seen her just relaxand play around but if you aggravate her she snaps and does impulsive crazy things, likethrowing Shego from that jet before catching her, and DNAmy she hit her and yelled about
her creatures".
"Shego is an Alpha maybe it was her instinct responding like it was a challenge, with Amymaybe she was trying to scare her so she wouldn't continue, most Alphas try to make Beta'snervous when they are pushing a limit"
Frowning I nod looking at the table "bubble-butt I know it's hard to understand you haven'thad to deal with Alphas at home, Beth is one with an Alpha mother and grandmother heruncle and that cousin are Beta".
"What if she's like that or worse with Omegas I do fight a few"
"You'd have to see how she responds to them and decided if you want to continue workingwith her or being a friend to her"
"You and Dad didn't seem comfortable with her when you met her, why is that?" I ask.
"She's an Alpha we never met and even with her controlling her pheromones her scent isstrong it just means she's strong, you don't notice because you haven't presented since yourfather and I are Beta we seen an unmated Alpha around our daughter who hasn't presentedyet but she's seems like a sweet person when she's not trying to prove herself to her family it made us nervous"
"She wouldn't let me shut my door and made it a point to sit on the chair across the room"
Mom stops and looks at me smiling slightly "I don't think you have to worry about herresponse to Omegas, I think this is about how she's different then your other friends".
Sighing I shrug refusing to answer "she's different but she's older than you all are she's from a strange family she acts and talks different but looking past that, she could keep up with youwhile sparring, never really hit you I mean she kept her hands open like claws I think sheactually held back her full power but gave enough you had a challenge".
Looking up I see Mom chuckling before she takes a sip of her coffee "her actions say she's anAlpha she's strong, confident, and demands respect but she also shows she deserves it, if youwere an Alpha she would give her full strength but she never closed her hands on you,
I can think of another Alpha you fight that does the same but you never noticed".
Seeing Mom get up and walk away I frown confused.
Beth pov
Sitting on the counter drinking coffee I smirk kicking my feet lightly so they bang and seeMom tense "Elizabeth Director, stop that right now" she orders pushing me to get down whilegrabbing a cup for coffee.
Jumping down I push between her and the coffee getting more before she has her first cup,stepping back I smirk taking a sip "Shego escaped and got him out with her".
"Figures that one gets out it's like your not even trying to keep her locked up" I snark.
"You know I'm not, she may have became a thief but for all her boasting of being Evil shesabotages those plans he makes and has saved Kimberly many times she's also never killedanyone"
Humming I nod before smirking more "or is it you don't want to deal with Izzie and Tabithacoming down on G.J like the devil herself".
"I am not scared of them" Mom growls glaring at me.
"Please the old gods of war would run and hide to avoid crossing them"
"Devil's a female, God's a female, the old gods would you just pick something and stick withit"
"Don't blame me, we both know I'm right it's why she made A/B/O because Adam had thenerve to blame Eve over the Forbidden Fruit, that's why men have Adam's apples a permanent sign of the lie to remind women"
Mom sighs pressing her head to the cabinet "stop listening to your grandmother's rants".
Humming I lean on the counter by Mom and feel her slap back proudly "how's Ma" I ask.
"She's the same as always ranting about something and demanding more photos of you shealso said to tell you she loves you then went into another rant"
"Wonderful nothing new there so global or focused on someone?"
"Team go"
Snorting I shake my head smiling "they are hardly active anymore and the only reason whythe boys are is because the bird freak won't leave them alone hell he came after Shego onceand she set his ass on fire"
"She's definitely got her mother's temper"
"What about me?" I snark.
"You spawned out of me one night and I woke up to find you on the bed chewing on yourown foot"
Rolling my eyes I shake my head "am I anything like Ma?"
"Why does it matter? you have had a good life I raised you alone and you are a strong personeven if you're a pain in the ass"
Grunting I put my cup in the sink and walk away "where are you going?" She demands.
"Out" I call out before slamming the door and check my phone seeing a message from mycousin to meet her.
"Do not slam my fucking door Elizabeth" I hear mom yell making me smirk.
Walking down the street I shake out my hands heading for a bar, walking in I grab the drinkfrom my cousin downing it "fuck you" I grunt seeing her glare at me.
"Still mad?"
"You blew up my hoverjet" I snark taking the drink she offers me.
"You stole mine"
Getting up I lean forward over the table "it's a piece of shit and you're a bitch" I hiss.
She smirks calmly leaning forward "sit your little ass down or I'll remind you why youshouldn't mess with me".
Twitching slightly I nod stiffly and sit down "you're not my damn boss?"
"Oh but I am so behave"
Frowning I look at her seeing her smirk "bullshit".
"It's true the same way that your Mom will always be your boss because you won't ever standup to her that's why you do petty shit to annoy her"
Snarling I suddenly hit my cousin hearing a crack "yeah, well you won't ever stand up to yourmother" I sneer before she snarls tackling me.
Some time later
Seeing Mom standing outside the jail glaring at me I sneer walking past her only to feel hergrab my shirt yanking me back.
I huff feeling her checking me and poking the burns on me "a bar fight really? you're not oldenough to drink and you were with Shego drinking" Mom hisses "do you know how hard itwas to keep this from going public?" she demands.
"What worried I'll turn out like my mother a criminal?" I sneer.
Feeling pain across my cheek I turn looking back to mom ignoring that she hit me "do notspeak about her like that Beth".
Scoffing I roll my shoulders "I'm moving out I'll get my things once I find a place" I saybefore walking away.
"Elizabeth come here" she orders.
"Why this is tradition right? the overbearing mother drives the daughter away, Sheila's right
about one thing our mothers are overbearing and evil" I answer before taking off running.
Finding myself knocking on the Possible's door I give a nervous smile seeing Mrs. Possiblelooks shocked before ushering me in.
Making me sit she comes back with a first aid kit and start treating me "what happened?" Sheasks.
"Got in a fight with my cousin"
Mrs. Possible frowns but keeps treating me "these are burns".
"She likes fire" I say sounding unsure.
"Why were you fighting them?"
"Didn't like something she said and lost my temper"
She nods not saying anything else, once she finishes I stand up ignoring the sharp pain in myribs and leg "thanks, I'll just going now" I say awkwardly while backing up to the door and rushing out.
Walking down the street I sigh pulling my hood up and eventually sit down at a park on abench watching people.
Hearing people yelling I frown looking up seeing a Blonde jumping from cars like it's somestunt with cars trying to avoid her.
Sighing I get up making me way over after recognizing her "okay Lynn that's enough comeon" I order calmly while motioning to the sidewalk.
"You know me?" She asks.
"I'm Kim's new partner, now come on I won't arrest you but you need to let these nice peoplecontinue with their day"
Seeing a manic grin I sigh before she takes off running after hitting me.
"Fucking place is turning into Go City" I grumble walking after her "Lynn that was uncalledfor I try to be nice and let you go yet you hit me" I call out keeping my voice calm.
Kim pov
Walking in with Monique I see Mom putting up stuff from her first aid kit "hey Mom whathappened?"
"Beth came by she had a fight with her cousin, she had burns on her but she took off rightafter I finished with them, I think she should see a doctor to make sure nothing was brokenshe walked like her ribs or leg may be hurt".
Hearing the familiar beep I answer getting a report from Wade about Lynn causing troubleand that Beth is after her.
Taking off since it's close I watch the video seeing Beth try to calmly reason with her beforegetting hit, Wade pulls another up and I see Beth following Lynn calmly as Lynn tries to gether worked up by taunting her.
"Current location?" I ask.
"The shopping center being built"
Nodding I duck down an alley to reach them faster, glancing around I see Lynn doing flips onbeams.
Beth pov
Seeing Lynn miss her landing and slip I dive after her grabbing her as I wrap my arm arounda beam "Damn it stop squirming you adrenaline junkie" I order while trying to pull us up.
Feeling a bite to my leg I hiss swinging Lynn away from me "Beth hold on I'm coming".
Glancing back I see Kim aiming her grappling hook "hurry up, this chick just bit my leg" Icall back continuing to swing her since she has calmed down and keeps laughing now.
Seeing Kim near me I take a breath and swing Lynn so Kim can grab her before pullingmyself up then use Kim's grappling hook to tie Lynn and lift her over my shoulder.
Walking slowly down I ignore the pain I'm feeling as I place her on a lunch table for the crewwhile Kim gets G.J to come.
"See Lynn, if you would have just walked away you wouldn't be going in yet" I say softlyseeing her pouting.
"Your mom's coming with the team to get her" Kim says coming over.
Nodding I turn to walk away "I'll let you handle this I need to do somethings" I say beforeleaving.

Just to be clear because I've read Kigo stories where people get confused about if Shegohates her mom or not, the relationship between Beth and Betty is not because they hateeach other it's they both have very dominant personalities and are very similar, so its basicallythese powerful women have powerful mothers that they see as being so much more, they
can't seem to fully brake away from their mother's shadow while always feeling likethey are never measuring up and they are just nuts as well
And on the people they fight I wanted to show how I always pictured them so Amy isjust the crazy animal lady, while Lynn always reminded me of an Adrenaline junkiepushing things to far so I've made her where she just does stupid stuff for the rush like
punching an Alpha then running or biting someone keeping her from falling to her deathat worst or serious injury at best
