Prologue, Part I: The Branched Road

It had all started with that battle.

A year after Naruto prevented the moon from crashing to Earth by defeating a descendant of Hamura, the brother of the Sage of the Six Paths, two guys more dangerous than that guy whose name he doesn't even remember arrived.

They introduced themselves as Momoshiki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki. They appeared in front of him out of nowhere and asked for Kaguya Otsutsuki. After telling him that she was long gone from the world, he started fighting this Kinshiki guy, who could create Chakra weapons. The guy was nothing he hadn't faced, but the danger posed by these two was too much, so he decided to use his abilities to transport himself between dimensions to reach Konoha and warn them.

Only a few hours later, those two subjects appeared. No Jutsu worked against them, as Momoshiki absorbed them and returned them with double the power.

Naruto, like the nobleman he is, sacrificed himself to protect the people of Konoha while he and the others helped to evacuate.

After that, a quick meeting was held with the rest of the Kages, where, after analyzing their mysterious enemies, they guessed that their target was Naruto, or at least people with large amounts of Chakra, since besides Naruto, they also attacked Killer Bee, the second remaining Shinshuriki. Which also explains why they also went after him.

After almost a day, in which the rest of the Kages arrived using a teleportation technique of the Raikage and the new transportation vehicles that were being developed in these times of peace, Kakashi, he, Tsunade and the rest of the Kages were the ones in charge of going to save Naruto. They were able to follow them thanks to their Rinnegan and arrived at a dimension that had a Shinju that seemed withered.

Managing to save Naruto, who was on the verge of death, they left him in charge with Tsunade to heal him, while they split up to face the enemy.

The Tsukikage and the Mizukage would be in charge of holding Kinshiki, while Kakashi, the Raikage and he faced Momoshiki, while Gaara gave them support with surfaces to run in the air made of his sand.

Kakashi analyzed, after seeing how Momoshiki absorbed the Jutsus and returned them, that they should engage him hand-to-hand. Once again, the Sixth Hokage showed that his intelligence on the battlefield was unsurpassed.

After the Tsukikage and Mizukage trapped Kinshiki in rock and lava and the others cornered Momoshiki too easily. Momoshiki, in a desperate act, did something no one expected: he turned his partner into a Chakra Fruit the size of the palm of his hand and ate it.

After eating it, he transformed into a beefier, more muscular version of himself, with a yellow Rinnegan on his forehead. There wasn't much change beyond that physically, but the Chakra he exuded was so large that it was paralyzing.

In that state, Momoshiki easily dispatched the five Kages with just a few moves. Kakashi's reaction speed or the speed of Gaara's sand defense, nor the Raikage's lightning defense served to protect them and fall unconscious.

Sasuke was the only one who was able to stand, having already faced enemies of the caliber of this guy, who, although he was strong, there were two variables that Momoshiki had against him.

The first was that, although he was strong, Momoshiki's power was not as great as he wanted to appear. He was fast and strong, too much for Sasuke to take on alone, but his strength didn't even come close to matching Obito's when absorbing the Ten Tails. He didn't even have those black spheres on his back.

The second, was that he would not face him alone.

Thanks to Tsunade's care and his own advanced healing, Naruto recovered enough to fight.

So, once again, they teamed up to save the world from an Otsutsuki.

Naruto, with his Sage of the Six Paths mode and he, with the power of his Rinnegan and the strength of Susanoo, faced off against Momoshiki. The Otsutsuki, though strong and being able to fight at the level of both in Taijutsu, was no match for the combination of the greatest duo in the Ninja World.

After locking him in a small moon with one of his Rinnegan abilities, Momoshiki broke free and created a stone giant to finish them off. In response, Naruto manifested Kurama's energy form and he supported him by covering the giant fox's figure with Susanoo's armor.

With a couple of blows and a katana swing that would cut mountains in two like butter, Momoshiki's stone giant fell, as did he.

And that's how they ended up in their current situation: Naruto and him in front of their fallen enemy who could not move due to exhaustion. The Kages already conscious and recovering with Tsunade's help.

Naruto was breathing raggedly and tiredly, one knee on the ground. His Six Way Mode faded away, a product of exhaustion. Sasuke was also tired, but not as tired as his friend, who had been draining his chakra for hours before they were able to draw strength from somewhere. He stood with his sword stuck in the ground, holding it by the handle in case his enemy thought to get up.

"What...do...we...do...with him?" Naruto asked in a halting manner. After seeing that the Kages were alright, Tsunade rushed over to him to heal him.

"Despite being defeated, he is too dangerous and none of them have a prison secure enough to hold him. We should eliminate him now," the Tsukikage suggested.

The old man was from the time of the Third, so he was the most experienced in wars and battlefields of all. Although his idea might be controversial, Sasuke agreed with him. He wasn't sure if Chakra suppressors would work on this guy and it was better not to risk it.

"I agree," agreed Raikage A, whose arm Sasuke had burned years ago with the Amaterasu, forcing him to cut off his arm so he wouldn't burn himself completely.

"We should question him first. We don't know much about the Otsutsuki. It is also possible that more like him are coming. We should know what we can about our enemies."

Kakashi's words, as always, were heard by all. That there are more Otsutsuki besides Kaguya and they came to Earth left open the possibility that there are more. It would mean a new danger for everyone on a global scale.

"I agree."

"Me too."

Gaara and the Mizukage, Mei Terumi, showed their support for Kakashi's idea to prepare in case of a new Otsutsuki attack.

The Tsukikage sighed but relented, as did A.

Seeing that his idea was unanimous, Kakashi looked at his ex-pupil. "Sasuke, I want you to knock him out with a Genjutsu now that it's possible. can you do it."

"Are you forgetting who you're talking to, Kakashi?" the Ultimate Uchiha asked rhetorically, pulling his sword from the ground and walking towards Momoshiki.

"That's right. Sorry. I'll take you up on that, Sasuke."

He didn't show it, but the confidence conveyed to him by his ex-sensei was uncomfortable. Not because it was a bad thing, but the opposite. He felt a satisfaction in his chest to be able to exchange friendly words with Kakashi, the possibly only person who could understand what he felt.

It was awkward because Sasuke hadn't forgotten that he tried to kill him two years ago and he was sure he remembered it too. How could he trust him so quickly? How could he not hate him after all his crimes?

It was a question he asked himself constantly in these three years, not only in Kakashi, but also in Naruto and Sakura. How did they forgive him so easily? Why he still can't forgive all the things he did because of the Uchiha's curse of hatred.

"Hehehehe..."

Standing in front of Momoshiki's body feet, her whole body tensed as she heard him laugh. He didn't have to turn around to know that the rest would have the same reaction upon noticing that this guy was still conscious.

"You apes think you can hold me?" Momoshiki raised his head, shooting them a look of contempt that was a product of the superiority he felt. "Don't make me laugh!" he shouted angrily. "I will never be at the mercy of apes like you! You will die, even if I have to take you with me!"

The ground shook before fracturing, torrents of Chakra flying out in the direction of Momoshiki's body, which rose into the air.

"What's he doing?" asked Mei, watching Momoshiki's body continue to increase in volume in the air, to such an extent that his arms and legs became small.

"It's just like what happened with Madara..." whispered Kakashi, though it was loud enough for everyone to hear. "He's absorbing Chakra from the ground!"

"Does he still intend to fight?" Gaara asked, a little surprised that his enemy still had any strength left.

"No. This is different from Madara or what Kaguya," replied Naruto, who having experience with those two enemies, understood more or less what Momoshiki was doing.

It was Sasuke, with his ocular abilities allowing him to see beyond the conventional, who discerned what Momoshiki was trying to do.

"It's absorbing the earth's Chakra to increase its size, but the idiot can't control it. At this rate, he'll explode."

Momoshiki's body grew larger and larger and the white hue of his skin became dark. Almost his entire body turned into a black ball just like the ones Naruto and Madara had before, with his head being the only thing that remained the same.

"Can you stop it?" Tsunade asked.

Sasuke shook his head.

"Any attack I give him will only set him off. We have to get out of here while he's still charging. Rinnegan!"

With his remaining Chakra reserves, Sasuke opened the same interdimensional portal he used to bring them here, this time to get them out. One by one, the Kages entered through the portal. On the other side, they arrived to find themselves at the top of the Hokage's building, where several ninja and friends of Naruto and Sasuke were waiting for them.

"I see... that's how they managed to get here," still conscious, Momoshiki saw the portal that the black-haired ape with a Rinnegan opened, watching them walk through. "If they think I'll let them escape so easily, they underestimate me."

The Rinnegan on his forehead glowed, using some of the Chakra he accumulated unchecked.

As Kakashi and Tsunade, both carrying Naruto approached the portal, they stopped as a yellow glow covered it and made it close.

Sasuke cursed.

"Hurry up!" The Last Uchiha hurried them across. "This fellow is interfering with the portal to force it to close. If you don't cross now, you'll be stuck here in the explosion or you could end up in another unknown world."

As he spoke, Sasuke was sweating bullets from his forehead and a tear of blood was showing on his Rinnegan, a product of the effort he was putting into his eye to prevent Momoshiki from counteracting the portal he created. So much so, that he had deactivated his Sharingan and closed that eye to concentrate solely on the Rinnegan.

"What about you?" Kakashi asked.

"I'll be right behind. Just get across quickly!"

Recognizing that time was a luxury they couldn't waste, Kakashi and Tsunade doubled efforts and crossed the portal that was smaller than when it opened, so they had to duck a bit to cross.

"It's already late."

Along with Momoshiki's words, her body had already become as big as a three-story building and was in the shape of a Gudodama.

"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted his friend's name, before disappearing to the other side of the portal.

Clicking his tongue and suppressing the pain in his eye, along with the throbbing in his head from the strain, the current reincarnation of Indra ran towards the portal.

"Die, you apes!" shouted Momoshiki. A second later, the Gudodama he became exploded.

In the milliseconds that the explosion expanded and devastated everything around it, Sasuke's portal shook as well. In the split second that the explosion almost reached Sasuke, he managed to jump into the portal just before it closed as he was unable to hold it.

However, fate had plans for the Uchiha that he never would have imagined.

Entering the portal that closed behind him, but not before being pushed by the explosion that reached inside, Sasuke was diverted from the portal that led to his world, spinning in the air in the Limbo between worlds.

Although Sasuke's power of space-time travel allowed him to open portals to wherever he wanted with the ability to return to where he was before, due to external forces, such as the huge explosion that shook the portal he entered through and made him deviate from his route, plus his loss of his Chakra that closed the portal to Konoha, it was entirely possible for one to end up somewhere else.

In fact, humans exist in more universes. Universes that are actually the same Earth, but with differences from the one you live in, or universes as different as aliens fighting for their planet and fighting against the gods or good-natured pirates sailing the seas for a great treasure.

And so, while Sasuke, disoriented, not having noticed that the portal that would take him home was closed, he entered one of the many portals that would have randomly opened in Limbo between universes.

A moment later, in the reality world, Naruto, Kakashi and Tsunade arrived in Konoha with the rest of the Kages and friends, they saw an explosion before the portal closed.

As for Sasuke… when he opened his eyes without knowing how long he had them closed, he realized he was not in Konoha.

Prologue, part II: A Whole New World.

Sasuke braced his right hand against the ground as a support to raise his upper body as he sat down on the ground. He immediately noticed the coldness of the ground and looking down, he saw that it was made of ice and covered with snow. He looked around, puzzled, but quickly made a guess as to where he was.

"I must have reached Kaguya's ice dimension."

In the three years after the war, Sasuke was able to explore and study the Rinnegan's powers more calmly. When he obtained it after being empowered by Hagoromo, he had to learn on the fly while facing Madara and Kaguya.

In addition to empowering all of his eye abilities, he had access to the Six Paths of Pain, plus an extra ability that allowed him to switch places with a person or object. Previously he could only do this if he saw who he wanted to switch with, but he recently learned that he could do it with anything in range, whether he saw it or not. There was also, the ability of space-time travel to lifeless dimensions or to other parts of the world by following Chakra traces or specific coordinates of where he wanted to go.

He had tried to see if he could cast the same shadows that Madara did in his battle, but found that he could not. Just like the Mangekyo, the Rinnegan, gives certain abilities unique to each user. His unique ability must be the ability to switch places with other things.

Although the Rinnegan gave great abilities, the problem was the massive consumption of Chakra for each ability. The reason why he did not use all the Six Paths in his battle against Naruto was because they would expend too much Chakra and in a battle against him, Chakra consumption was something that had to be controlled until the end, where his most powerful techniques hit and they were almost out of Chakra.

Among the things he found out with the Rinnegan, he discovered that he could access the dimensions that Kaguya teleported them during their fight against her, but accessing those dimensions required more Chakra than normal, so Sasuke hasn't returned to them after two trips to the ice and high gravity dimension respectively, left him exhausted.

"But why am I here and not in Konoha?" the ninja wondered, reaching for his sword on the ground and using it as a prop to get up.

Could it be because of the explosion? Although he managed to save himself, the shockwave reached him and the portal was quite destabilized by his lack of Chakra and Momoshiki's interference. That could have caused the portal to bring him elsewhere.

It didn't sound logical, but of all the Jutsus, the space-time Jutsus were the most complex there were, because in the ninja history, there were very few Jutsus of this type, among which were the summoning techniques. And the Rinnegan's power to travel between space was clearly superior to those Jutsus and he doesn't know much about those Jutsus either, since in his time at the Academy and as Orochimaru's apprentice he only focused on what could make him stronger, anything else was irrelevant.

"How annoying."

This was a great annoyance, of course. He was tired, with no Chakra to return, his eyes hurt, and he had a headache from using Rinnegan. He had finished using all his Chakra reserves in the portal and in his current state even making a small flame would cost him. He had large Chakra reserves, more than that of any Shinobi, it wasn't arrogant to think that only Naruto and Karin had larger reserves than he did, and it was because they both came from a bloodline with absurd amounts of Chakra. Moreover, Naruto had his pet inside him to gift me with lots of extra Chakra.

He saw a pillar of ice and approached. He lifted the hair that covered his Rinnegan on his left eye, being able to see that it no longer had the magatamas and looked just like Madara's Rinnegan. The spots disappeared when he ran out of Chakra and would reappear when he fully recovered, he just had to rest and eat.

The problem was that, especially the latter. Being in an ice dimension with no apparent life, there were no animals to hunt. Also, having large Chakra reserves, his Chakra took longer to return. It would take him about 48 hours to fully recover his Chakra.

It was fortunate that as a ninja, he was trained to endure without food. Orochimaru's training reinforced that. He could survive for three days without food, only water, something that in this place, was no problem.

A draft of wind blew through, lightly ruffling his hair and the left sleeve of his shirt that hung down as he lacked that limb. He had shed his cloak during the fight against Momoshiki, so he had only a long sleeved black shirt with the Uchiha logo on its back and gray pants. His sword sheath must have fallen off as well during a moment of the fight.

"I'd better find some cave to rest in," he said to himself, starting to walk. He might as well take advantage of a bit to explore this dimension.

He was in no hurry. Momoshiki committed suicide with that explosion and he was sure The Kages and Naruto had crossed safely. Sure, they must have thought he was dead when he didn't arrive with them, but the scare would pass when he returned. The paramount thing now was their safety.

During what was a ten minute walk, he managed to find a small but just enough cave for his comfort. Entering it, he looked at it curiously, but narrowed his eyes as he noticed something odd about the cave.

"The ground plates are cut and flattened nicely and the entrance is very circular. This cave was not made by nature," he analyzed in his mind. Animals, perhaps? Impossible. The cave's markings were too perfect with too little destruction to have been made by animals. "Or maybe I'm being paranoid."

He was too tired to fill his head over the shape of a cave. He looked inside the cave, luckily finding some dry branches. He didn't wonder what branches were doing in an icy dimension and piled them on top so that, with much effort, he could generate enough Chakra to make a small fire.

After feeling the warmth of the fire, he felt the exhaustion finally catch up with him. Before his eyes closed, he adjusted his body into a position where he could stand up in an emergency. He was in unfamiliar territory, so he would not let his guard down.

After finding his posture, which was leaning against the wall of the cave with his back slightly hunched forward, the tip of his sword stuck in the point of the floor, his hand gripping the hilt and one knee in the air, he finally slept.

Sleep did not last long.

He opened his eyes when he felt footsteps approaching in his direction. He was not a sensory ninja, but he was skilled enough in the field to sense approaching enemies. Those approaching were not animals, they moved with the agility and speed of Chunnin-class shinobi.

This dimension was not so uninhabited after all.

He glanced up at the sky. The sun had gone down a little. He must have slept for about two hours. The small campfire he had made had gone out before that.

He closed his eyes, feeling the footsteps better. They weren't coming in his direction, but they were close. They had to look around for anything. Regardless of whether it was routine scouting or if they were looking for him or something else specific, Sasuke knew it was dangerous to linger.

The problem was that it was all clear field outside and the cave was not that deep, from the entrance they could see the end of the cave.

In this situation, there was nothing left but to fight. The problem was that I did not have the capabilities to do so. After an internal analysis, he had barely recovered 5% of his total Chakra, which was not even enough for a Jutsu. His arm and leg felt better and resting those two hours helped the headache in his mind.

The time to think ran out when footsteps approached. He saw a man wearing a cold suit with armor parts on his arms, legs and chest, with a hood over it and wearing a mask to cover his face up to his nose, he noticed the sword that was sheathed and hung on his back.

The person stared at him for a few seconds and, when he noticed that he returned his gaze, he quickly withdrew. There was no doubt in Sasuke's mind that he would seek out his comrades and return.

If these beings were skilled enough to move the way they approached and walk in a group, then they were not creatures, they were people, humans.

"Looks like I'm farther from home than I thought," he sighed and stood up, twirling his sword in a reverse grip, waiting for his "guests".

Within seconds, a group of six individuals landed in front of Sasuke. They wore armor and equipment similar to that of the ninja, especially the ANBU because of the guards and swords. Blue was the predominant color of their costume, plus a symbol on the heart area of the breastplate that he had never seen before.

These "ninjas" stepped aside, allowing a new person to pass. Sasuke watched him. She was a tall, pale woman, about his age. She had light blue hair that was pulled up in gravity-defying spikes, wearing a dark blue vest open in a "V" shape with a tight black leather suit underneath, tight black pants and heeled boots, as well as a blue mask covering her mouth and nose. His eyes were light blue, of a hue that was like looking into ice.

"I take it you're the welcoming party," Sasuke said dryly.

"And you're the intruder who dares to enter Lin Kuei territory without permission," the woman accused.

Lin Kuei? It was the first time he had heard that name. He really was far away from Konoha.

"I don't want any trouble."

"Well tough luck, because you already have them. Who do you work for, spy? For the Shirai Ryu?" the woman asked, accusing him with the name of another group he didn't know.

"I don't know who you are or who these Shirai Ryu are, but I'm not with them," Sasuke replied.

A ninja approached the woman. "Miss Frost, we should take him to the base and interrogate him."

"You're right," Frost turned away, a gesture that indicated to Sasuke that the woman wasn't paying attention to him or considering him relevant. "Take him away and get the truth out of him."

In other circumstances, Sasuke would allow himself to be taken away just to learn more about this place and the civilization that existed in this dimension, but in his current state, he wasn't confident he could escape a place full of people with training like the one in his world.

"I'm sorry, but you will answer my questions."

When two ninjas approached and were about to grab him by the shoulders, Sasuke swung his sword, making a cut on the leg of one of the ninjas, followed by a blow to his stomach with the pommel of his hilt on his head that made him fall unconscious to the ground. For the second subject, he delivered a kick to his jaw that lifted him off the ground and made him fall.

Frost stopped when he heard the blows and looked over his shoulder, seeing the other four of the group that the Grandmaster had him bring draw their swords and move to surround him, but the mysterious enemy moved faster, running towards them until he was in the center of the four. With swift movements, he knocked them all out.

"Not bad," he complimented with false praise, folding his arms across his chest. "Maybe you are worth my time."

"I'm not interested in making it worth your time. I want answers from this place and you'll give them to me," Sasuke demanded, igniting his three-bladed Sharingan. The Sharingan was so natural to activate that he didn't need much Chakra, even if he couldn't get his enemy into a Genjutsu, it was still his best weapon.

"Why don't you make me?" the woman suggested, in a challenging tone.

Sasuke ran towards her and jumped, swinging his sword at her head. His intention was to trick her that he was going to cut her with the sword so that she would dodge it and thus control the pace of the fight to end it quickly.

But he was surprised when the girl caught his sword in her hands.

Sasuke was not in his best condition and did not move the sword as fast as he could have, but fast enough for even a normal shinobi to try to dodge it. If he caught it, it meant he was at Jonin level.

As if the surprises weren't over, the blade of his sword froze at high speed. With his eye, he saw Frost's hands turn much paler than normal, his eyes glowed. Sasuke had to let go of his sword as he realized that the frostbite extended beyond the blade and jumped back.

With a little pressure on his hands, Frost broke Sasuke's sword into pieces that fell to the ground.

"What will you do now without your sword?" The Criomancer asked mockingly, not seeing how his rival could fight without his weapon and only one arm. Surrender or an absolute beating was all she had left.

But Frost saw how wrong she was when her foe cut the distance in less than a second and kicked her in the stomach, pushing her back, but not far, as Frost kept her feet against the ground, dragging the snow with her.

"You want to play rough, pretty boy? Fine by me," Frost said, clasping his hands together and pulling them apart, creating a sphere of ice in the space between and throwing it as a projectile.

Sasuke dodged the sphere by stepping to the side, but that move proved to be a feint for Frost to close in and attack with a flying kick that Sasuke dodged by ducking.

As he was already close, Frost attacked with palm strikes and kicks that Sasuke, thanks to his skill and Sharingan, dodged or blocked.

After a short display of skills in which Frost was unable to overcome his enemy's defense, he jumped and spun in the air, extending both feet to Sasuke's face, who blocked the kicks with his arm, which pushed him back a little. Upon landing, Frost threw a freezing bolt into the ground that advanced to the ground beneath Sasuke, who slipped a bit, just enough for Frost to jump up and kick him in the chest that knocked him to the ground, though he quickly got back to his feet with no apparent damage from the blow.

Frost threw ice beams from his hands towards Sasuke's feet, easily recognizing that it was his main method of attack since he didn't have his sword. Sasuke ran around Frost, dodging the ice beams that froze the snow he touched.

"I see you only know how to run," Frost taunted, enjoying the advantage he had.

Did she want to provoke him into attacking or was she just a fool who thought she had the advantage? She didn't care. He wasn't in the mood to play games, so he'd finish the fight.

From his equipment bag, he pulled out two shuriken that he threw one after the other, but at different angles; the first one slanted to the left and the second one to the right. Frost, without stopping his freezing beams, moved his head aside just enough for the shuriken to pass very close to his neck, but without touching him.

Just as she was about to mock such a pathetic move, she heard the shuriken crash behind her. Her instinct made her stop her beam and turn. As she spun, she created an ice screen in her hand. As soon as she registered the shuriken that came with double the speed towards her face, she raised her hand. Frost felt that the shuriken had gone through the ice screen and into her palm, but it was barely a twinge compared to the pain of the clandestine fights she was forced to fight in and the hard Lin Kuei training.

But Sasuke's goal was not to finish her off like that.

Hearing the rip in the air, Frost turned and fired a freezing blast, freezing a kunai thrown at her in a bucket. Attached to the tail of the kunai was a string attached to a paper with symbols on it that quickly burned.

Frost jumped in time to avoid the exploding paper bomb, but already in the air, she was met by Sasuke, who kicked her in the stomach and threw her against a wall of ice. Frost spat saliva from the impact as she fell to the ground, but she didn't have time to rest when Sasuke was already in front of her.

She tried to give a palm strike, but Sasuke caught her arm by grabbing her wrist. Being so close, he lifted her leg and kneed her in the ribs. He repeated it twice more. He released her wrist and gave her a slap in the face that knocked her mask off and made her spit blood, then lifted his foot on top of her stomach and used it as leverage to jump while with the other foot he kicked her in the jaw, lifting her a few inches off the ground before falling with her back against the wall and her butt touching the snow on the ground.

Sasuke stood in front of the woman victoriously, but at a safe distance. She was throwing ice from her hands without doing any hand seals or Jutsu. Although after mastering a Jutsu and having a certain amount of Chakra, one could do Jutsus without hand seal, (like him with Chidori, which he can use by just channeling his Chakra into his hand) what she did was different.

Though victorious, she would not allow herself to let her guard down against an opponent.

"Are you ready to answer my questions yet?"

Spitting blood, Frost glared with almost sickening fury at Sasuke. The way he tricked her with the shuriken and kunai, how he left her, literally, cornered against the wall and treated her like she was a dirty rag. Now he's making demands of her? First dead rather than accept defeat. Better idea: kill him.

Seeing the woman's eyes, Sasuke realized that she wasn't going to give up, so he would have no choice but to knock her out. He hoped that the guys who came with her would be more cooperative when it came to talking.

Before round 2 began, Sasuke felt a large amount of energy approaching. The energy was so great that he could feel it, though he didn't recognize it.

He jumped back, just in time, because a blue thunderclap fell from the sky in front of Frost. The thunder vanished as soon as it arrived, but in its place was a person.

Sasuke watched the stranger carefully. He was a grown man in predominantly white robes and a blue vest with gold embossing on which he had a medallion near his heart. He had a straw hat and his eyes glowed blue with what could only be described as power.

"Enough," commanded the newcomer. His voice held a power and authority that put Sasuke even more on guard. "This battle is pointless."

"Lord Raiden…" the woman spoke breathlessly, her eyes not believing who she was seeing. Thanks to her, Sasuke already had a name. "What are you doing here, my lord? I assure you everything is under control," Frost's superiority was replaced by one of respect and flattery towards the man.

"I just came to make sure no one got hurt," Raiden calmly replied. His energy blue eyes focused on Sasuke's figure, but were quickly drawn to the Sharingan. "You..." he narrowed his eyes. "You seem to have traveled from far away, Uchiha."

Sasuke's eyes widened as he heard his last name from the lips of a stranger in an unknown dimension. "How do you know that name?"

"If you want to know, then follow me so we can talk. I give you my word that you will come to no harm while you are here," the man said with respect to his person as Frost stood up and picked up his mask.

"And who the hell are you?" asked Sasuke.

"My name is Raiden, God of Thunder and the Protector of the Earth Kingdom. Welcome you are, young Uchiha."

So far this is the chapter of my first fanfic. I'm just a newbie writer who likes both Naruto and Mortal Kombat and notices how low the Spanish community is. I apologize for any grammar mistakes.

We start the fic with the arrival of Sasuke. In this version, Momoshiki and Kinshiki arrived in the shinobi world much earlier than in Boruto's time and it was Naruto, Sasuke and the Kages of that time who were in charge of confronting him, although it was almost the same, except without Boruto.

This Sasuke is after the Fourth War, so he will be at his best aside from Boruto. This Sasuke will be more like the one we know Boruto, being serious but calm and without the arrogance he had, although he will be more melancholic, since he still doesn't forgive himself for all the things he did in wanting revenge, like allying with Obito and trying to kill Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura.

Why did I choose Sasuke as the main character over Naruto? Because I like Sasuke much more, and there are too many Naruto fanfics! Having the avenging emo be the protagonist of a fic is a needed change of air for the community.

His first fight was with Frost, who is still in the Lin Kuei clan under the orders of Kuai Liang. The events that happen now take place a year before Mortal Kombat X.

Also, I will change a little the final events of the prequel comic book series of Mortal Kombat X, something that will be explained in future chapters.

And I also apologize if there were some parts that were not understood, since English is not my original language and I translated the chapter. The Spanish version, which could be considered the original and is a bit more advanced, you can read it if you are interested.

I hope that, both in the Spanish and English version, you will give me a lot of support.

Thanks for reading and I hope you will support me a lot in the future.
