Chapter 20: A Happy Hour at Eat n' Park
The next day, we all met up at Eat n' Park in the Waterfront for a happy hour. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Kate Bush, and Lizzo prior to our happy hour. Lunch was chicken nuggets, nacho chips and cheese, peaches, and ice cream. We could order whatever we pleased for dinner. "Developing brains is very crucial to a milestone like graduation," Carly stated. "As I was transitioning from middle school to high school, I realized this when I discovered so many businesses in my neighborhood." "Milestones and transition years can be very crucial," Spencer agreed. "They keep track of all of the stages that you lived through," Mr. Benson pointed out. "The winter where we had a lot of blizzards was not a milestone and transition year for us, but it was for Angel," Alex pointed out.
