Chapter 6
After Ethan was discharged from the hospital, Luz and Amity took the boy out for a fun day at the amusement park. It made Ethan really happy cause it was the first time in a while that he was genuinely happy.
The next day, it was back to training with his watch with his mom's for Ethan. As Ethan turned and slammed down on his watch, a flash of light enveloped the boy. "Big Chill," shouted the now named humanoid moth as the light died down, Ethan was training with Luz today, and he was happy.
As they were taking a break, Peony Deamonne had arrived with her parents. "Willow, Hunter, it's good to see you," said Luz as she ran up to give them a hug. "It's good to see you too, Luz," said Willow, who returned the hug. As just then, Willow noticed Ethan standing behind Luz just chilling. "You must be Ethan, It's a pleasure to finally meet you," said Willow, who had a smile on her face. "It's nice to meet you too, Mrs.Deamonne," said Ethan. Then, all of a sudden, Peony had pulled Ethan into a hug, "Thanks for keeping my friends safe," she said. "I was just doing what I thought was the right thing," said Ethan. This made Hunter happy to see that his daughter had made a new friend. "Well, Ethan, I think it's time to get back to training," said Luz. "Okay, Mama," said Ethan, who then noticed that the watch had recharged.
As Ethan slammed down on the watch, a green light enveloped him. In Ethan's place was a giant rocky humanoid. "Who's this," he said as this wasn't what he decided to use, "Okay, I guess I can make this work," said Ethan. As Luz charged at Ethan, all of a sudden, Ethan had held out his hand, and it appeared as Luz was lifted off the ground.
"Wow, I have gravity powers," said Ethan gleefully. "I think I'll call myself," said Ethan, as Peony interrupted, "Gravattack," "Yeah, Gravattack," said Ethan proudly. As the training fight continued, Luz threw four fire glyphs at her son. Just then, the fireballs started to travel around the new alien, "I have my own orbit, I wonder," said Ethan. Just then, the fireballs orbiting Ethan started to move faster as they were launched right back at Luz.
After the fight was over the Deamonne's left for home. As Peony ran into her room she couldn't help but think about Ethan. Peony was always a girl who thought about others but whenever she thought about Ethan she mind went blank.
"I-I Think I have a crush on Ethan," she said as she drifted off to sleep.
