An: This is a sequel to my other fanfic, The Eternal Omega and follows Vinny and Klaus' pup as she presents and goes through her life. It's crossed with Avengers.

Nicole Mikaelson looked at her face in the mirror and sucked in a deep breath before gripping her bottom jaw and yanking it back into place. She did so without a noise, which she was proud of. She couldn't have the club chaperone waking up to the sound of her popping her joints back into place. She'd question where I had gone and somehow I don't think "to an underground boxing tournament" would be a good answer.

"Nikki?" There was a big yawn and a quiet voice on the other side of the door and Nikki opened the door to let her friend in. Polly gasped at the healing bruises on Nicole's face and shut the door, cupping her cheeks. "Nikki!" So far, Polly was the only one in their Culture Club who had presented, and she become a beta. This had made her mother hen side intensify. "Sit."

"Polly, they're just going to heal in a couple minutes-"

"I know, but let me feel useful." Polly huffed. Nikki sighed and let Polly push her onto the closed toilet seat in order to begin dabbing at her face with a wet wash cloth. She's a good friend. Better than a scoundrel like me deserves. She doesn't care I'm not human and she keeps her mouth shut, sticking her own neck out to cover me when I want to go to fights.

"Polly..." Nikki began. "I hope I'm a beta too. We could get married and open a daycare for little pups like we talked about." I'd make great security.

Polly scoffed, chuckling to herself. "You're such a joker, Nikki. I know you're going to be an alpha or an omega. The power on you is too strong to be a simple beta. You are destined for one extreme or the other." I wasn't joking. I could love a girl, the same as I could love a boy. "We're also still in high school. Far too young to get married."

I'm going to live forever. Time is very, very different for me. Also, I don't do school. I just kind of learn whatever skills I want in whatever order I want. Mom and pop only cared to make sure I could read, write, and cook for myself. Everything else was optional. "Haha, yeah." Nikki made herself laugh at what hadn't been a joke. "Silly." Polly began to take her tight braids down, humming as she did and Nikki relaxed. Polly was almost as comforting as her mother or father or one of her litter mates. "You're going to have to get in the shower. You've got blood in your pretty blonde hair again."

Nikki glanced at herself in the mirror and saw someone had taken strongly after her father in appearance. Dark blue-green eyes, blonde hair and a pale complexion straight from her father's visage. The blonde hair was in fact streaked with red, as Polly said. "I guess I should get washed." Polly checked her watch.

"If you hurry there's a cute shop down the street that makes all kinds boba tea. We can make it there and back before anyone wakes up." Polly patted her on the back and left. Nikki began to get undressed, grateful for culture club bringing her and these homeschool kids together.

As she was slipping into the water she had run, Nikki felt the edges of her vision crowding in and she gripped the edges of the bath tub like her life depended on it. No. Not again. I...I need...Polly wait! Nikki reached for the door her club friend had disappeared through only to see nothing there but a black void. Don't let go. Nikki closed her eyes. Polly Richards. Polly Richards. Polly Richards. I remember Polly Richards. Polly Rich-

"She resists so hard every time. Surely there is nothing of her original self left by this point." The technician to the right murmured to Rumlow, his eyes trained keenly on the glowing displays. On the other side of the observation windows squirmed their greatest catch. That thing that would revive the many heads of Hydra. Nicole Mikaelson was already their best bioweapon, even if her brain cling stubbornly to what would seem to be her very last memory.

"Finish wiping her and put her back in stasis." Rumlow said coldly. "She has a job to do, and I think she is ready. We leave at first light, so have her condition reset by then. She's going to get us our other asset."

Bucky panted hard, staring down at the absolute monstrosity that had just assaulted him on the border of Wakanda. She looked so young, maybe only about seventeen or eighteen. Like she should be preparing to get out of highschool and into college or some kind of trade. But she had fought with the absolute and unhinged ferocity of a super soldier with all their emotions and self stripped away. She wasn't a super soldier, though. Flipping her over, Bucky continued checking for the cyanide capsules. Hydra didn't like their assets being stolen or escaping, after all.

Then he had a decision to make, glancing back at the shimmering, mostly invisible dome that covered Wakanda. He looked at the phone he had been about to smash before entering this haven that had been offered to him. He heaved a deep sigh and glanced back at the child. She's not a child anymore. Not even compared to me. I know all too well what happens in those labs. She continued to sleep, somewhat without peace as her face kept contorting. I barely downed her the first time. Better make the call. He dialed the number he'd been holding ready.

It rang four times before an incensed voice picked up. "You've got a lot of nerve Barnes. Did you call me to finish what Rogers stopped me from doing?" He was harsh and angry. Bucky tried to push his own immediate reactions aside.

"Hydra had a child. They did something to her. She just attacked me. Now, I have a safe place to go but they will doubtless not let her in. Will you keep being bitter or help me with this? We need never look in each other's direction again." He was quick and to the point, sensing Tony's previously thin patience had cracked at seeing his caller ID.

"That's it?" Tony sounded unamused. "You want me to babysit? Ask Rogers."

"No- damn it- Stop! Just wait, Stark. She isn't human. I think she might be a supernatural and how would Hydra have gotten one? Why? They're very protected. Not worth the trouble even for them unless someone has big plans. Concerningly big plans." Bucky was about to lose his patience. "She's the same age as that spider boy you brought to the airport."

Tony was silent for a long moment. "We'll meet where I send you coordinates. Swap identical cars and I'll take the girl."

"She needs more help than I can give her." Bucky admitted, feeling as if he were betraying comrades in arms to just let another Hydra victim go. "I can't do children after...I just can't."

"Can it, Barnes. I already said yes. You better hurry before I change my mind."

The hand-off went smoothly enough and now Tony had a teen girl a lot sooner than he thought he would, and what's more was he knew she was dangerous. She could've easily killed Bucky if he hadn't removed her handler first and she'd frozen in place, waiting orders. He looked at the list of codes in his hand, displayed on the Hydra pad and tossed it to the side of his desk; hands folding under his chin.

"Is she dangerous?" A voice asked from behind Tony and he swiveled in his chair to see his wife holding her big, round belly.

"Yes and no." He pulled Pepper and their unborn daughter into his lap, enjoying their presence in his life. I never thought I'd have something like this. "She's just a kid, same as Peter's age. But she's also not human. I think she-"

"She needs nicer clothes." Pepper said, looking sad. "Her own look torn." Tony smiled at his kind hearted wife.

"Take my card and have some express delivered. Get her some things to customize her room with too, because I have a feeling she'll be here a while."

Tony sighed as the figure on the bed went into thrashing again and spoke her sleep command. The girl whose name he still needed to learn was conditioned so deeply, he wasn't sure he'd ever get her to have a response other than what Hydra had taught her. Bucky had been able to break free even temporarily because someone he loved had reached out to him. Tony didn't have that luxury. Despite running the girl's face through so many missing child registries he had gotten nothing.

Tony was about to give up for the day when Friday informed him that he had an encrypted email sent from "a friend". Tony looked at it, took three seconds to determine it was from Nicholas Fury and groaned aloud. He opened the attachment after scrubbing it for potential malware. It contained a picture of the girl looking maybe two years younger, her name, a missing poster for another girl named Polly Richards, and a single phone number that Fury had circled. Tony furrowed his brow as he looked it. "Friday whose number is that?"

"It will take me some time to reach that far into a network. Would you like me to begin?"

Tony stood, hearing Pepper calling him to dinner. "Yes."

The girl was floating somewhere red. It wasn't sharp like it normally was, so she let herself relax a little. "-dinner, Tony." Someone sweet called from far away, sounding as if they were underwater. The girl didn't struggle, just listening to the sounds around her.

"-found something. Maybe. It's from Fury." This was a man's voice. "-to immediately do it. -be wrong and then what will I do?"

The soft red turned barbed and crimson and the girl struggled against the sudden pain gripping her. I remember Polly Richards. Polly Richards. Polly, Polly, Polly. Where are you? He said you were missing. Do you know who I am too? The girl sat up, swinging her feet over the edge of the bed. "The guest has awoken with elevated heart rate consistent with panic." Spoke a much closer more emotionless voice with feminine tones. The talking in the other room stopped and footsteps began to approached. Not knowing what else to do, the girl called out the one thing she knew. "Polly?"
