The residence of the angel of Death

The Second World War. How much do you remember at these words: genocide, death, the Holocaust, pain, broken destinies. Artemis is a powerful Greek goddess of hunting and the moon. Rebecca is the daughter of a famous 20th century doctor. But what unites them? Just one place that claimed millions of innocent lives. A place where death can still be felt in the air. Auschwitz.

1. Preface

Before you start reading this story, I would like to say a few words:

1) This story is a translation of my own fan fiction. From this it is easy to understand that English is NOT my native language. I apologize in advance for the mistakes and I will be grateful if you tell me about them.

2) I study, as my first teacher said, "real" English, that is, British. Please don't criticize the British version, I just don't know these words in the American pronunciation. (As far as I know, most of the users are Americans. I'm sorry!)

4) We do not attribute any actions and/or crimes that do not have documentary evidence to historical figures. All this is just a figment of our imagination.

5) We try to keep the historical chronology of events, but in some places this has been changed for the benefit of the plot.

6) The names of the characters are fictitious, with the exception of historical figures. All coincidences with reality are accidental.

7) In order to preserve the atmosphere, several languages will be used in addition to English, namely: German, Russian and several phrases in French. Then the translation will be given immediately. (Otherwise, many people will make a text in a foreign language, and look for the translation yourself. It's not good to do that.)
