A/N: Hey guys, this is my first Teen Wolf fic, and it's the first time I've published one of my works so I'm excited to hear what you guys think. I'm sorry about the inconsistency of how long the chapters are. As I said, first time I've published. But I'll take any reviews you guys have for me. I only want to get better.
Please review.
Enjoy!
Chapter 1
Artemis got off the city bus and took a look around.
"Beacon Hills," she sighed, "Welcome to your new home-sweet-home."
The 15-year-old shouldered her bag and started walking down the sidewalk with two teenage boys following closely behind her, shoulder to shoulder. They reached an abandoned looking building a few blocks away and Artemis stood to the side as one of the boys broke the door down. She stepped inside glancing at him and saying, "Great job, Mathew."
She went inside and cast her gaze through the interior, "Well boys, you better get used to this, we'll be here for a while."

Scott McCall walked into Beacon Hills High School followed by his group of friends. They were now seniors, except for Liam who was a sophomore. He considered them all as part of his pack, even though most of them weren't werewolves. He had a werewolf of course, but there was also a Banshee, Kitsune, werecoyote, and a human. They had just come back from a weekend of battling Kate Argent and all they wanted was a week of normal teenage life with no supernatural creatures to be fought or problems to be solved. They had all nearly died and wished they could just not be supernatural anymore. It was kind of fun and scary at the beginning but, to tell the truth, Scott was getting tired of it.
"Hey," his girlfriend, Kira, the Kitsune, stopped him and pointed at a girl that he hadn't seen before, "Is that the new girl, Artemis?"
"I think so."
Stiles popped up beside them out of nowhere and looked where Kira was pointing. He glanced at the new girl and couldn't help but whisper under his breath, "Damn, she's hot."
Malia, who was standing beside him, punched him playfully and said,
"You're right. But if you try something, neither one of you will be able to live long enough to regret it."
She smiled as if she was joking and sounded like it too, but looking at her eyes, Stiles knew better. He nodded and rambled, rubbing his neck, "I meant she's hot, like warm, because she's wearing a jacket and it's like a hundred degrees in here."
He started sweating and the werecoyote only laughed and kissed him, "I know that's not true, but nice save."
"Shut up, she's walking over here," Lydia, Banshee, whispered as she lightly tapped Stiles and Malia. Everyone quieted down and looked at the girl expectantly as she walked up to them.
"Hi, my name is Artemis Henley, I'm new here."
"Hey," Scott introduced himself, "I'm Scott. And this is Stiles, Malia, Lydia, Liam, and Kira," he pointed at each of his friends respectively.
"Nice to meet you."
"Hi."
"How's it going."
"Hey."
They nodded and greeted her.
Liam spoke up then, "Artemis, that's a cool name. It's a Greek goddess, right? What was it, goddess of wisdom?"
"No, that's Athena. Artemis is the goddess of the moon," she answered, "and the hunt."
The pack tensed and they all seemed to be thinking along the same lines, Was this girl a werewolf hunter? Or maybe a werewolf herself. They shook the feeling away as the bell rang and Scott asked her what her first class was and if she needed help finding it.
"I have geometry now. I—"
Liam cut her off and said, "I have geometry now too, I could take you."
"Thanks, I'd love that. It was nice meeting you all."
She and Liam walked away as the rest of the pack waved and said goodbye. They started walking to their classes and Scott, who had his class with Kira, said, "Was he a bit too eager to go with her? He's never been a fan of geometry."
"Oh, come on, Scott," Kira laughed, "Don't you remember freshman year? Meeting a girl you thought was cute? Liam has a crush!"
Scott chuckled and said, "Poor guy."
