Renne received an opportunity to learn about Pokemon from an esteemed Academy in a Pokemon Region called Paldea as an exchange student. From there, Renne makes some new friends and travels throughout Paldea with different objectives. Will Renne and her new friends complete each goal and learn more about Pokemon? What adventures awaits!

18. Becoming Champion

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Mesagoza)

"We're back at long last." Florian said as he and Renne hop out of the Flying Taxi. "The first place we begin everything is now the final."

"Indeed. How funny things turn out to be." Renne agreed. "Now that we're back. What should we do now?"

"Well, we can enter the Pokemon League together. After all, Cassiopeia wants us to meet at night at the Schoolyard."

"Indeed. After that, we can talk to Arven about Professor Tubo and Sada too. Since those two have business with us."

Florian nodded. "Yeah. Wanna head to the Academy for lunch?"

"Might as well. I need to change clothes as well." Renne nodded as they begin to climb up the stairs of Uva Academy.

But as they arrived at the doorstep, there was "Clive"

"Oh hey, "Clive"." Florian greeted

"'Sup, Florian. Renne. Actually... no. It's time for me to bring this little performance to an end. Allow me to reveal my true identity!" "Clive" pull his shirt and toss it, along with the wig to reveal himself to be Director Clavell. "I do apologize for deceiving you two with my disguise."

Florian and Renne just stare.

"Yeah, we already knew." Florian said

Clavell jawdropped. "What?! But my disguise was perfect!"

"Come now, Director. We already knew it was you from the very start the moment you suddenly appeared in the East Province. We decided to play along to see how long you can keep up the act." Renne giggled.

Clavell sweatdrop. "I-I see. You two are... remarkablely... sharp. 'Perhaps its my age that gave it away.'

"If you're thinking about your age that gave it away, it isn't just that." Florian smiled which Clavell flinched

"Wha— how could you possibly tell I was thinking that?"

"Oh, Director. You're just predictable at this point." Renne giggled. "The other was calling us Master and Miss. The only person who call us that was the Director himself. So you gave yourself away."

Clavell sweatdrop. "I fear that the two of you are... frightening as a pair. But regardless, there is still one more astonishing truth I must reveal to you."

"And that would be?" Florian asked

"The true identity of Cassiopeia, the big boss of Team Star..." Clavell then look serious. "Was none other than me all along!"

"That's impossible." Florian said bluntly.

Clavell felt the word arrow pierce his back. "H-Honest to goodness! When you heard Cassiopeia over the phone, that was actually a prerecorded voice. I pulled it off using, er...you know, one of those...high-tech gizmos! Oh yes, it was very clever!"

"Oh, Director. Is this another of your acts?" Renne sighed. "I can point out three reasons how it's impossible for you to be Cassiopeia. One, you don't seem to be the type to be too familiar with technology. Granted prerecorded voice is a good answer. However, it requires timing to pull all of it off. And do you recall when I confirmed Cassiopeia is the true boss of Team Star? You yourself confirmed that you did not anticipate that I would figure it out. So there is no way that final conversation was prerecorded throughout your timing."

Renne clapped her hands. "The Second reason is that Cassiopeia is a student who is from last year. You were not the director nor a student at that time. And finally, the third reason is that you were also completely ignorant of Team Star's reason for not coming to school. You were investigating the rumors and the truth about Team Star, and the academy a year ago. Our recent investigation finally brought all the pieces together. And that's why for you to be Cassoppeia is impossible."

Florian casually wrap his arms behind his beck. "Wow, Renne. Look at you go on full detective mode. But I do agree with the facts you pointed out."

Clavell sighed. "I'm truly impressed Miss Bright. You truly are an very observant and sharp student that it's almost frightening. I can't deny it anymore that I am not Cassiopeia as you say."

"But then why would you suddenly proclaim you were Cassiopeia?"

"It is because Cassiopeia's true identity remains hidden. But I believe I can hazard a guess as to who they may be. Just as you did, Miss Bright. But Cassiopeia may be stronger than any of Team Star Squad bosses and has settled on a course of action and is determined to see it through. That is why."

Clavell pull out a Pokeball. "I must see if the two of you have the skill to defeat them."

"Ah. I get it now." Florian said. "Because if we don't... you'll bear the responsibility. In that case, we'll show you how strong we've become." Renne got out his Pokeball. "Renne, can you referee this fight?"

"But of course." Renne then take a step back as Florian and Clavell then take positions.

"Now then, Master Florian. Show me how much you have improved." Clavell said

The Director of the Academy - Director Clavell.

Florian got out his Pokeball. "Go Dugtrio!" He throw his Pokeball.

"Oranguru, come forth!' Clavell throw his Pokeball and Both Pokemon came out.

"Trio, Trio!" Dugtrio chanted

"Guuu." Oranguru let out a low calling of his name.

"Dugtrio, use Stone Edge!" Florian command.

"Trio, trio!" Dugtrio chanted as multiple light blue rings of energy surrounded them as stones then form, then launch at Oranguru.

"Oranguru, Reflect!" Clavell command as Oranguru aim his hand and a rainbow barrier appeared, protecting himself from the attack. "Now use Psychic."

"Oraa." Oranguru's eyes glow light-blue and send psychic pulse and struck on Dugtrio

"Dugtrio, Sand Tomb!" Florian command as Dugtrio idg underground and then a huge hole appeared underneath Oranguru and suck him in. "Now Earthquake!"

"Trio!" Dugtrio then send out a shockwave that struck on Oranguru.

"Oran!" Oranguru winched.

"Oranguru, use Psychic to get out of there!" Clavell command.

"Grr!" Oranguru's eyes glow blue as blue outline surround him and then burst out of the Ssnd Tomb and landed don his feet.

"Now use Yawn!"

"Orran." Oranguru open his mouth and then bubbles came out and aim at Dugtrio

"Dig!" Florian command as Dugtrio dig underground. The Bubbles popped and then Dugtrio emerge from the ground and tackle Oranguru.

"Fowl Play!' Clavell command as Oranguro recovered and then punch and slap Dugtrio with his leaf fan back to the ground.

"Use Sucker Punch!" Florian command as Dugtrio emerge back from the ground and headbutted Oranguru to his back.

Oranguru got back on his feet and then use Psychic and sent a psychic pulse to strike on Dugtrio, Dugtrio then used Sand Tomb to trapped them and damage him with the sand. Oranguru burst out of there with Psychic and then used used Zen Headbutt.

"Dugtrio, Sucker Punch! Florian command as Dugtrio dodge Oranguru's attack and coutner by headbutting it, knocking Oranguru to the side and fell to the floor with swirling eyes as Reflect Cancel itself out.

"Oranguru, return!" Clavell recalled his Pokemon and then switch a different Pokeball. "Abomasnow, go!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Abomasnow.

"Abomasnow!" Abomasnow roared and then snow suddenly appeared in the battlefield.

'Snow? Ah, an ability.' Florian thought. "Dugtrio, Sand Tomb!"

"Trio, trio!" Dugtrio dig and a large hole appeared underneath and trapped Abonasnow.

"Ice Shard!" Clavell command

"Abomaaa!" Abomasnow open his moth and a blue ball of ice appeared from it and fired ice shards.

"Counter with Stone Edge!" Florian command

"Trio, Trio!" Dugtrio's summon miltile stones around and launch them to counter the Ice Shard, causing a small explosion but the stone also struck on Abomasnow.

"Abdom!" Ambomasnow winched from the Super Effective hit.

"Jump out of there and use Wood Hammer!" Clavell command as Abomasnow then jump out of Sand Tomb and then his arm glow in green aura and then slam at Dugtrio.

"Trio!" Dugtrio winched

"Dugtrio, Stone Edge!" Florian command

"Trio, Trio!" Dugtrio glared and summon multiple stones and throw them at Abomasnow and launch critical supereffective hit.

"Abomaaaaaa!" Abomasnow was knocked away to his back and fell, his eyes begin to swirl.

"Abomasnow, returned!" Clavell recalled Abomasnow and switch Pokeball. "Polteageist, go!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Polteageist.

"Pooool."

"Dugtrio, returned!" Florian recalled Dugtrio and switch Pokeball. "Go Dragapult!" He then throw out Dragapult

"Draagapult." Dragapult roared.

"Dragapult, use Dragon Darts!"

"Drag!" Dragapult fires a pair of Dreepy from the holes on its horns.

"Dodge and use Shadow Ball!" Clavell command as Pelteageist dodge swiftly and counter with Shadow Ball.

"Phantom Force!" Florian command as Dragpult vanished into a portal where Shadow Ball missed and then reappeared and slam Polteageist to the ground with super effective move.

"Polteageist!" Clavell exclaimed as Pulteagist got back up. "Use Will-O-Wisp!"

"Poool!" Polteageist summon spooky purple fire and throw them at Dragpult and struck on him

"Drag!" Dragapult winched as the burn status taking effect.

"Ngh...! Dragonpult, Dragon Dance!" Florian command as Dragogapult circle around with light blue energy, fly around in circle and increase his speed and power.

"Polteageist, Shadow Ball!" Clavell command

"Polteageist!" Polteageist channel Shadow Ball and throw it at Dragapult.

"Phantom Force!" Florian command

"Drag." Dragapult vanished into the portal to dodge and then reappeared and headbutted Polteageist with suprt effective.

"Poool!" Polteageist winched and fell on its back and eyes swirling.

"Polteageist, returned!" Clavell recalled his Pokemon and then switch with another. Amoonguss, go!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Amoonguss.

"Amoon!" Ammoonguss roared.

"Dragapult, Dragon Dart!" Florian command as Dragapult fired fires a pair of Dreepy from the holes on its horns and struck on Amoonguss, pushing him back.

"Amoonguss, Hex!" Clavell command

"Amoon." Amoonguss's eyes glow purple as a sphere of black energy with a red eye appeared and send multiple blue energy and struck on Dragapult

"Draaaag!" Dragapult yelled in agony and its super effective.

"Dragonpult!" Florian exclaimed as he clenched his teeth. "Dragon Dart!"

Dragapult then fired two Dreepy again and struck on Amoonguss again.

"Hex Amoonguss!" Clavell command

"Counter with Dragon Darts!"

"Drag/Amoonguss!" Both Dragapult and Amoonguss launch their attacks at the same time as Dragon Dart fired and Hex activated as the eye launch the blue energy ring and struck on Dragapult while the two darts struck on Amoonguss, causing them both to grunted as Dragapult managed to still standing... er... floating from the supereffective hit but Amoonguss fell on his back and eyes swirling.

"Amoonguss, return!" Clavell recalled Amoonguss.

"You too Dragapult." Florian recalled and then he and Clavell switch Pokeballs.

"Go, Gallade/Gyrados!" Floran and Calvell throw their Pokeball as Gallade and Gyrados came out of their Pokeball

"Gallade!" Gallade took his stand while Gyrados roared.

"Gallade, Sword Dance!" Florian command as Gallade swing in form to increase his attack power.

"Gyrados, Aqua Tail!" Clavell command as Gyrados's tail cloak in water and launch a powerful swing.

"Dodge and use Psycho Cut!" Florian command as Gallade jump high enough and then send out multiple Psycho Cuts that struck on Gyrados and the floor.

Gyrados roared.

"Use Crunch!" Clavell command as Gyrados launch himself and then bite Gallade hard with his powerful jaws.

"Gal!" Gallade winched.

"Gallade! Sacred Blade to get out of there!" Florian command as Gallade forearms extended and glow and then swing on Gyrados jaws to force him to let go, and then he dodged as Gallade landed on his feet while Gyrados floated. "Now Leaf Blade!"

"Gallade!" Gallade's forearms glow green and then jump toward Gyrados head and slam him down to the floor with powerful force as he jump off.

"Hyper Beam!" Clavell command as Gyrados fired a yellow-orange beam of energy from its mouth and knock away Gallade

Gallade recovered from the blast.

"Leaf Blade!" Florian command as Gallade's forearm glow light green again, dash toward Gyrados and then slash through him with a powerful green slash. Gyarados roar in agony and fell to the floor in defeat as eyes swirling.

"To think I'm being push back to a corner..." Clavell whispered and then got out his Pokeball. "Gyrados returned!" Then he called Gyrados and then switch to one final Pokeball. "Come Skeledirge!" He throw out and came out Skeledirge.

"Skeleeeee." Skeledire roared

"That Pokemon..." Florian got out his Rotom Phone to scan it.

"Skeledirge. The Singer Pokemon and the final evolve form of Fuecoco. A Fire and Ghost Type. Skeledirge's gentle singing soothes the souls of all that hear it. It burns its enemies to a crisp with flames of over 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit. The fiery bird changes shape when Skeledirge sings. Rumor has it that the bird was born when the fireball on Skeledirge's head gained a soul."

"So that's Fuecoco's final evolution form... Wow." Florian mused. "But I guess now it's time to get serious."

"Indeed." Clavell pull out his Tera Orb. "Let us have match with Terastalliation!"

"You got it!" Florian got out his Tera Orb and both him and Clavell's gathering Tera Energy into their Tera Orbs, throw it over head their Pokemon and encase them with Terstallation.

"Gaaaal!" "Gallade roared and gain the Psychic Tera Jewel.

"Skeleeeeee!" Skeledire roared and gain the fire Tera Jewel.

"Gallade, Psycho Cut!"

"Gallllade!" Gallade empower by the Tera Jewel send out multiple Psychut Cuts with blinding speed and struck on Skeledirge as he wa sknock back with a critical hit.

"Skeledirge, Shadow Ball!" Clavell command.

"Skeeeeeeell!" Skeledirge open his mouth and fired multiple Shadow Balla toward Gallade

"Dodge and finish with Psycho Cut!"

Florian command

"Gaaaall." Gallade backflip to avoid all Shadow Balls, then he run toward Skeledire, jump into the air, and then spin, sending multiple Psycho Cuts toward and struck Skeledirge with strong explosion attack.

Gallade landed on his feet as the smoke clear. Skeledirge's Tera Jewel shattered and Skeledirge return to normal and fell on the floor defeated with swirling eyes.

"Victory has been decided." Renne said with her eyes close and a smile

Clavell sigh and smiled with pride. "How strong you have grown..." then he recalled Skeledirge. "Return Skeledirge." And recalled Skeledirge and put away. "You truly have grown splendidly over the course of your Treasure Hunt."

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Emotion/Arven and Mabosstiff)

"Thank you, Director." Florian smiled as Gallade change back. "You did amazing Gallade."

"Gall." Gallade nodded with a smile.

"So then, Director." Renne approached. "So you have a good verdict?"

"Yes. It's without question that both you and Florian have the strength of what it takes to see this through. I do offer my deepest apologies. Their sorrow... should not be yours to both of you to bear. But..." Clavell then smiled. "You two have show me just how strong and kind you are. If anyone has a chance to saving that poor child, it is surely be you two."

"Director..."

"As an educator it shames me to burden one of my students with such a task..." Then Clavell bow. "But please... Defeat Cassiopeia! Take on the big boss of Team Star and win!"

Florian and Renne nodded. "Yes, sir!"

"You can count on us!" Florian point his thump at him with determination.

"We'll bring peace to Cassiopeia once and for all." Renne agreed.

"Thank you both." Clavell look up and gave a warm smile. "From the bottom of my heart. I leave this in your hands."

"You there! What do you think you're doing?!" A woman's voice yelled, causing an ! to appear over Florian, Renne and Clavell's head.

They turn and see Tyme at the Academy Entrance and approach... and she does not look very happy.

"Ah! Ms. Tyme, a pleasure to see you." Clavell said

"It's no pleasure at all, Mr. Clavell!" Tyme replied

(Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes ost - Song of the Buffoon)

"I came here to investigate reports of an illicit battle on school ground, and do you know what I find? Why, the director of the academy himself! Facing off against one of our students, no less!" Tyme gave a scolding look. "What were you thinking?!"

'Oooh riiiight... The Academy forbids anyone from Pokemon Battling in school grounds.' Florian whispered.

'I guess our Director has forgotten about it. Which is Ironic.' Renne replied with a quiet chuckle.

Clavell sweatdrop. "Ah, no, if I could just explain. You see, it is a rather sad tale..."

"Oh, spare me!" Tyme responded. "Your excuses reek worse than a Stunky's behind!"

"S-Stunky's behind!?"

Florian and Renne covered their mouth to hold in their laughter.

"You'll write a letter of apology to the students and facility at once!" Tyme then turn her back. "And I'll be reporting this to the chairwoman of the school board, make no mistake!

"Good gracious, no!" Clavell exclaimed and then begin to follow Tyme. "A-Anything but that, I implore you!" Then he stop to turn to Florian and Renne. "Remember— the big boss asked us to meet them in the schoolyard after dark. I'll be counting on you two." then he took off.

Florian and Renne sweatdrop.

"Poor Director." Renne said.

"Ahaha..." Florian nervous laughed. "Well... shall we go eat?"

"Yeah. After we change clothes." Renne said and then they take off.

One clothes changing and eating lunch later...

"So this is the entrance leading to the Pokemon League..." Florian said in awe as they ride up the grassy slope.

Florian change into his Autumn Uniform while Renne's outfit was custom made to match her Trails of Cold Steel IV and Autumn Uniform style.

"I wonder how long the Pokemon League will take after all the work we've been going through. Renne wondered. "Perhaps enough time for nightfall."

"Here's hoping." Florian nodded as they reach the building of the Pokemon League and see a Pokemon Center to it. "Oh look, there's also a Pokemon Center here."

"How coinvinent." Renne said and then notice at the entrance is Geeta talking to the guard station there. "Oh, there's Le Primera."

"Hiiii Le Primera." Florian called out as Geeta turned to see them as they hop off and recalled Miraidon and Koraidon to their Pokeballs.

"Ah, hello Florian, Renne." Geeta smiled. "I see you have arrived to take on the Pokemon League where you'll go through the final test to become Champion."

"That's right." Renne nodded and look at the building. "And looking at this building, I see how grand and fitting it looks for the Champion Assessment to be held here."

"Yeah. It's not going to be easy, but we will overcome this challenge!" Florian smirked.

"I wish you two the best of luck from the bottom of my heart." Geeta smiled. "I'll be looking forward to meeting you two again soon."

"Oh we'll promise we'll meet again soon." Florian nodded as Geeta nodded back and head into the Pokemon League building.

"Are you two ready to face the Pokemon League's Champion Assessment?" A staff asked

"We are." Florian nodded as the staff pull out a Rotom Tablet.

"Let's see... Florian... and Renne from Uva Academy, correct?" He asked as they nodded. "May I see your Gym Badges?" He asked and then he show them their bases in both Rotom Phones and ARCUS Alpha. "Ah, excellent! You have all eight! Very well! You may now proceed to the interview room."

"Interview room?" Florian and Renne look at each other and they both go in.

The Staff then begin to guide them toward the interview room where Rika wearing glasses waiting for them.

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Pokemon League Interview)

"Thank you both for coming." Rika said professionally. "However, one of you will take the interview while the other wait their turn. Which one of you would like to go first?"

Renne and Florian look at each other.

"I'll go last." Renne answered and turn to Florian. "Good luck."

Florian nodded. "Thanks Renne." He said as Renne leave the room and close the door.

"Please, do have a seat." Rika said as Florian take a seat. "I, Rika, will be your interviewer."

Florian gulped and felt a sweat on his cheek. 'Man, the intensity in the air...'

"Let's get started with the first portion of the Champion Assessment. We begin with the interview. First thing first.—" Rika turn to the computer. "Let me see how many Gym Badges you have..." She said as she click on the mouse and then pop up the screen. "Excellent! You have all eight!" Then turn to Florian. "Next, I'd like to ask you a few questions, if you wouldn't mind, Florian. Please think carefully, as you may automatically fail the interview depending on your answers."

"O-Okay." Florian nodded

"Let's begin. How did you get here today?"

"Um, you mean arrive at the Pokemon League?" Florian tilt his head. "I rode on my Pokemon with Renne."

"Very good, very good." Rika nodded with a smile.

"Please tell me the name of the school you are enrolled in." Rika said

"Uva Academy."

Rika nodded. "Ah, that's right. So, what brings you to the Pokemon League today?"

"I came to become a Champion."

Rika nodded in approval. "Yes, indeed. Why else would you be here, I suppose. Now, what do you intend to do if and when you become a Champion?"

Florian close his eyes and think hard before he open them. "I want to find treasure. In the Uva Academy Indepentant Study. The students explore all of Paldea to search for their "treasure." I want to find mine."

"I see. Interesting." Rika mused. "Tell me: Which of the eight Gyms gave you the most difficulty?"

Florian rub his chin. "That's a tough question. But the most... I would say Glaseado Gym."

"I see. And what was the name of the Gym Leader you faced there?"

"Grusha."

Rika look serious before giving a smile. "I'm glad you seem to remember. But do you remember which type of Pokemon Grusha used?"

"Ice."

Rika then gave a satisfying smile. "Wonderful. Building the skills needed for the Champion Assessment is no small feat. You must have met a lot of Pokemon to get here, Florian." Rika turn to her computer and click on something. "What was the category of the Pokemon you chose to be your first partner?"

"The Grass Cat Pokemon." Florian answered.

"Very good, very good. Now, forgive me, but I'm going to repeat a previous question. Remind me, what do you intend to do if and when you become A Champion?"

"I want to find my Treasure." Florian answered.

Rika turn to her computer and then look back at Florian. "Ah, yes, that's right. Next is the final question for this interview. Do you like Pokemon, Florian?"

Florian smiled. "Yes."

Rika close her eyes for a moment of silent. Rika open her eyes that a sweat came from Florian's cheeks. Then Rika smiled

"Good job, Kiddo." She said. "That about wraps up the interview. And let me be the first to congratulate you, Florian. You just passed the first part of the Champion Assessment!"

Florian sighed of relief.

"And on your first try, too, no less! Don't think anyone's done that since Nemona. All right, next up is Renne. Can you bring her in and wait outside?"

Florian nodded. "Got it." He got up, head to the door and open it. "You're up, Renne." He said as he leave the room and Renne came in.

"Please, do have a seat." Rika said as Renne take a seat and Florian close the door. "I, Rika, will be your interviewer. Now let's begin the first of the first portion of the Champion Assessment. First thing first.—" Rika turn to the computer and begin clicking. "Let me see how many Gym Badges you have..." She said as she click on the mouse and then pop up the screen. "Excellent! You have all eight!" Then turn to Renne. "Next, I'd like to ask you a few questions, the same questions I ask Florian, if you don't mind. Please think carefully, as you may automatically fail the interview depending on your answers."

"Understood." Renne nodded

"Let's begin. How did you get here today?"

"You mean how I arrive to the Pokemon League?" Renne asked "I rode on my Pokemon with Florian."

"Very good, very good." Rika nodded with a smile.

"Please tell me the name of the school you are enrolled in." Rika said

"Uva Academy."

Rika nodded. "Ah, that's right. So, what brings you to the Pokemon League today?"

"To become a Pokemon Champion."

Rika nodded in approval. "Yes, indeed. Why else would you be here, I suppose. Now, what do you intend to do if and when you become a Champion?"

Renne close her eyes as she thinks. "I have two answers. One: is to find my treasure. The other is to become stronger."

"I see. Interesting." Rika mused. "Tell me: Which of the eight Gyms gave you the most difficulty?"

Renne hummed. "That's a tough question. Each Gym possess a good challenge. However, the most difficult Gym I've ever faced would be the Cortondo Gym. The Gym Leader there taught me much about Pokemon Battles and Strategy. Were it not for her guidance, I would have never gain much insight into Pokemon Battles and strategies."

"I see. And what was the name of the Gym Leader you faced there?"

"Katy."

Rika look serious before giving a smile. "I'm glad you seem to remember. But do you remember which type of Pokemon Katy used?"

"Bug Types."

Rika then gave a satisfying smile. "Wonderful. Building the skills needed for the Champion Assessment is no small feat. You must have met a lot of Pokemon to get here, Renne." Rika turn to her computer and click on something. "What was the category of the Pokemon you chose to be your first partner?"

"The Seed Pokemon." Renne answered.

"Very good, very good. Now, forgive me, but I'm going to repeat a previous question. Remind me, what do you intend to do if and when you become a Champion?"

"Two answers. One is to find treasure, while the other is getting stronger." Florian answered.

Rika turn to her computer and then look back at Renne. "Ah, yes, that's right. Next is the final question for this interview. Do you like Pokemon, Renne?"

Renne smiled and nodded. "Of course."

Rika close her eyes for a moment of open her eyes and then she smiled

"Good job, Kiddo." She said. "That about wraps up the interview. And let me be the first to congratulate you, Renne. You just passed the first part of the Champion Assessment! And on your first try, too, no less! Just like Florian. Now can you bring him in here?"

"Got it." Renne got up, walk to the door, and opened it. "Okay Florian, come in."

Then Florian came in.

"All right, the two of you pass the first part as I said. It's time to switch gears and get ready for the next segment." Rika said.

"What's the second segment?" Florian asked

"The second segment is what we call the Elite Test. And you'll be facing the Elite Four in Pokemon Battles!"

"Oh." Renne said. "I suppose that does make sense. The Elite Four are the representatives of Paldea's Pokemon League."

"Indeed. We're the best the League has to offer. You two will be facing us four in a row—no turning back. However!" Rika said, serious. "One of you will be facing us while the other waits. If one Pass the Elite Test, the other must wait for 30 minutes for the Pokemon to recover. But at the same time, the one taking the Champion Assessment will be facing the Top Champion. If the battle proves to have taken longer. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the battle has ended, and the Top Champion's Pokemon is recovering."

"I see. It's no different from the Gym Leader's battle." Renne said. "In that case, Florian. Do you want to go first. I don't mind waiting."

"You sure, Renne?" Florian asked

"Yes, I'm sure."

Florian nodded. "All right. Thanks Renne. I'll make sure the battle will be quick. So wish me luck."

"Hehe. Good luck."

"Hehe. The friendship between you two." Rika chuckled. "All right, Florian, listen up. This won't be a cakewalk—I promise you that. Make sure you're all ready, then go into the room behind me. You're gonna have to wait for the time being. I will call you and let you know that it's your turn.."

"Okay." Renne nodded. "I'll be doing some Pokemon Training by facing strong Pokemon. Cya then, Florian. And good luck.".

"Thanks Renne! Later!" Florian waved goodbye as Renne left. "Okay, I'm ready."

"Then go step to the door behind me." Rika said as Florian go to the door behind her.

Florian walk to the hall and then arrived at a large blue space with a Pokemon Court. Coming in was Rika.

"All right, let's get this started, eh?" Rika pass Florian and stand on the opposite end.

"So you're my first opponent?" Florian asked

"Yep. Let good ol' Rika be the first of the Elite Four to take you on!"

(BGM paused)

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Elite Four Battle)

Rika got out her Pokeball. "I'd say I'll go easy on you, but... I'd be lying! Think fast!"

"Wishcash, go!" Rika throw her Pokeball.

"Gallade, let's go!" Florian throw his Pokeball and both side came out Gallade.

"Gallade!"

And Whiscash.

"Whiscash."

"Heh. I finally get to battle you! I've been looking forward to this." Rika pull her gloves and smirked. "So don't you give up too soon!"

"Ha! I wasn't even planning on it! Gallade, Leaf Blade!" Florian command

"Gall!" Gallade's Forearms glow light green, dash and then combo slash and kick Whishcash away to the wall next to Rika, slamming it before calling to the floor.

"Hoho." Rika smirked as Whiscash got back on his feet.. or floating after the super-effective attack. "That's one mighty strength. Whiscash, Muddy Water!"

"Whiscash!" Whiscash roared, releasing spirling brown water from its body and launching the wave toward the Gallade and jump Psycho Cut!"

Gallade jump into the send and sent out multiple Psycho Cut.

"Dodge and use Blizzard!" Rika yelled,

"Whiiiiis!" Whiscash summons a pool of water around, forming into a shield and then channeling a blue ball of ice and unleashing a powerful blizzard attack and strike Gallade.

"Gallade, Sacred Blade!" Florian commanded as Gallade recovered, his forearm glow pink and extended, rush and then launched a powerful slash through, leaving behind the mark and converted into damage.

"Whiiish!" Whishcash yelled in agony and fell on the floor in defeat, then the TV Screen of Rika Pokeball lit out.

"Whiscash, return!" RIka recalled, then switched a different Pokeball. "Camerupt, you're up!"

"Cameruuuu!" Camperupt roared.

"Gallade, Sword Dance." Florian command

"Gall." Gallade did his usual Sword Dance move to boos this attack powers

"Camerupt, Earth Power!" Rika smirked

"Caaaaamrupt!" Camerupt's eyes flow yellow, roared and stomp his feet as golden cracks travels toward Gallade and struck him,

"Gall." Gallade grunted but quickly recovered.

"Sacred Blade!" Florian command as Gallade's forearms glow pink and enlarge, then rush toward Camerupt.

"Yawn!" Rika yelled as Camerupt open his mouth and multiple bubbles were launch and popped at Gallade's face, causing him to feel drowsy, and stopped. "Now Fire Blast!"

"Caampe!" Cameupt take a deep breath and a red-yelow fire started up in his mouth and then shoot a powerful steam od fire form into the 大-shaped and struck Gallade.

"Gaaal!" Gallade winched, push back, rolling.

"Gallade, can you stand?!" Florian asked

"Gall." Gallade got back on his feet and shake his head and readied himself.

"All right, let's go for some payback with Sacred Blade!" Florian command

"Gall!" Gallade's forearm extended again with the same light pink and then rush toward Cameupt.

"Go for that Yawn!" Rika command

"Campeeee." Camerupt open his mouth and fired bubbles again.

"Jump over!" Florian command as Gallade jump over and then dive down and direct hit Camerupt's head, knocking to the ground with a powerful force that a shockwave struck.

"Ngh!" Rika covered her face with her arm as Gallade hop off back to Florian's stand.

"Caaame..." Camerupt's eyes were swirling as another Pokeball lit out on Rika's side.

"Camerupt, returned!" Rika recalled Camerupt and then switch Pokeball. "Donphan, let's go!" and throw her Pokeball and Donphan came otu

"Donphan!" Donphan roared.

"Donphan, Rollout!"

"Donphan curl into a ball and roll at incredible speed toward Gallade.

"Knock it back with Leaf Blade!" Florian command as Gallade's forearm glow light green and then swing, locking into a power struggle until Gallade push Donphan back.

Donphan continue to go in Rollout and ram toward Gallade, attacking and circling around, but Gallade keep up with his pace until he swing his forearm and push Donphan away.

"Stone Edge!" Rika yelled

" Donphaaaan!" Donphan roared as she glows in white rings, then form into stones and launch them at Gallade.

"Deflect them!" Florian yelled as Gallade swing his forearms to deflect the stone edge from hitting him until eventually, Gallade deflected all of them.

"Hoho! Earthquake!" Rika yelled

"Don!" Donphan step his feet and a shockwave was launch at him.

"Jump and use Leaf Blade!" Florian command

"Gall!" Gallade jump and hid forearms glow lighr green and dive to strike at Donphan.

"Dodge!" Rika yelled and Donphan dodge by jumping to his left as Gallade landed. "Iron Head!" Then Donphan's band glow silver, forming into Steel and then Strike Gallade, knocking him to the wall.

"Gall!" Gallade winched but then got back on his feet.

"Gallade Sacred Blade!" Florian command

"Gallade!" Gallade's forearms glow light pink and extended and then rush toward Donphan.

"Dodge and use Earth Power!" Rika command as Donphan dodged.

"Gotcha! Cartwheel Gallade!"

"Huh?"

"Gaaaaall." Gallade suddenly spin into a cartwheel where Sacred Blade then slams onto Donphan to the floor before she can react.

Gallade hop back to Florian's side.

"Donpaaa..." Donphan groaned as she is defeated as eyes swirling.

"Donphan return!" Rika recalled Donphan as another Pokeball lit out. "Nahahahaha! Impressive! You really got something else, kiddo!" Rika smirked. "Go Dugtrio!" she throw her Pokeball and came out Dugtrio.

"Trio, trio." Dugtrio chanted.

"All right, Sandstorm!" Rika command

"Trio, trio!" Dugtrio then created a sandstorm that surrounded their bodies and then spread it further where Gallade cover his eyes.

"Ngh!" Florian cover his eyes from the sandstorm

"Now, Earthquake!" Rika command as Dugtrio send out a shockwave toward Gallade and then struck him, knock him off his feet anf to his back.

"Gallade!" Florian exclaimed

"Now use Rock slide!" Rika command

"Trio, trio!" Dugtrio chant as multiple gray rocks appeared in front and then launch them toward Gallade, knocking him away.

"Gaall!" Gallade winched as he was rolling and then getting back on his feet. "Gal." and the sandstorm continues to harm him.

'Sandstorm is always so tricky to handle. But... if to overcome this Sandstorm and Dugtrio...' Florian thought. "Gallade, Psycho Cut in front of you!"

"Gall." Gallade's forearm glow light link and then send out multiple slashes, striking the sandstorm until eventually struck on Dugtrio.

"Dugtrio!" Dugtrio grunted

"Thought so." Florian smirked

"So you caught on." Rika close her eyes replied with a smirk. "Dugtrio, Earthquake!"

"Trio, trio!" Dugtrio send out a powerful shockwave aiming toward Gallade.

"Jump!" Florian command as Gallade jump.

"Now Rock Slide!" Rika command as Dugtrio summon multiple white rings of energy over it, then large boulders appeared and rain down.

"Cut through with Sacred Blade!"

"Gaalll!" Gallade's forearms glow and exlarge with a light pink energy and then slash the rocks to avoid being attack as he falls. Once he landed on his feet, the last rock was destroyed.

"Dugtrio, dig!" Rika command as Dugtrio dug underground.

Gallade then senses Dugtrio presence as he look at the ground to his left. Once the timing was right.

"Dodge and use Leaf Blade!" Florian yelled as Gallade jump out of the way and Dugtrio emerge to attack.

"Gaaaall!' Gallade's forearm glow lighr green and then slashed Dugtrio.

"Triooooooo!" Dugtrio yelled in agony as the sandstorm died and Dugtrio's eyes are now swirl.

"Dugtrio, returned!" Rika recalled Dugtrio.

"Gallade, wanna fall back?" Florian asked as Gallade many hits.

"Gall." Gallade shook his head and took his stand.

"All right, then let's do this."

"Haha. Your Gallade took down four of my Pokemon, cover many hits and still standin'. Show how much strength he carries." Rika pull one final pokeball. "But let's finish this! Go on, Coldsire!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Clodsire.

"Codlsire." Clodsire chanted.

"Time to shake the earth!" Rika got her Tera Orb out and then gathering Tera Energy, throwing it overhead, encasing Clodsire with Terstallize and then gain the Earth Tera Jewel.

"All right, Gallade." Florian got out his Tera Orb. "Let's even the odds!" Then Tera Energy gather within the Tera Orb and then he throw it overhead, encasing Gallade and gain the Psychic-Tera Jewel.

"Gallllade!" Gallade roared.

"Gallade, Psycho Cut!" Florian command

"Gallade!" Gallade's empowered then throw out glowing pink Psycho Cuts.

"Protect!" Rika command.

"Clod." Clodsire formed a green energy barrier and block Psycho Cuts.

"Now Toxic!"

"Clod!" Clodsire then fired black stream of purple liquid at Gallade.

"Dodge and Leaf Blade!" Florian commands as Gallade dodge swiftly and then rush toward Clodsire and slash with Leaf Blade, knocking him away.

"Clod!" Clodsire grunted and then took it seriously.

"Earthquake." Rika command as Clodsire stomp his paw and a shockwave launch at Gallade and struck him.

"Gall." Gallade winched.

"Psycho Cut!" Florian commands as Gallade recovers and then sends out multiple Psycho Cut toward Clodsire.

"Dodge and Liquidation!"

"Clod." Clodsire dodged and then craw toward Gallade with water cloak hands and then begin to launch some tail and slash attack.

"Counter with Leaf Blade!" Florian counter as Gallade block and swing his Leaf Blade as Clodsire block and swing to coutner until Gallade was fast enough to launch a critical hit on Clodsire, knocking him away to the wall, slammed there, the Tera Crystal then shattered and Clodsire returned to normal.

"Cloooodsire..." Clodsire groaned.

"All right, we did it!" Florian cheered as Gallade nodded with a smug look.

(Resuming Elite Four Room)

Rika clapped her hands. "Well Done kiddo." She turn to Clodsire and recalled him to his Pokeball and sighed. "Honestly, you put up a better fight than I thought. You barely had any other Pokemon send out while Your Gallade crush mine. Talk about unfair. Still though, it was a great battle. Felt good even to lose! Not a whole lot of Trainers have the skill to make it past the Elite Test... But who knows. I'm beginning to think you and Renne might be one of those few who can, Florian."

"Thanks for the praise." Florian scratch his hair underneath his hat. Then he recalled Gallade to his Pokeball.

"All right, now that's done. You better stay on your toes. The second of the Elite four is Stronger than me!" Rika turn to the door behind her. "You're up next, Squirt! Come on out!"

"Cooommiiing!" Poppy came out from the door and approached the battle court. "Oh wow! Did you lose, Rika?"

"Yeah, I did... He's no pushover, let me tell you! He beat me with only one Pokemon." Rika answered and then walk to the side. "I'll be watching from the side. Avenge me if you can, eh?"

"You bet I will!" Poppy took her position. "It's so cool you made it this far! But th is where you say bye-bye, mister! All my Pokemon are super tough! Your weak attacks won't work on them at all! They'll bounce right off—you'll see!"

(Resuming Elite Four Battle)

Florian sweatdrop. "For a little kid, you can be... frightening. Still, you should learn to underestimate someone just yet. If I can beat Rika with one Pokemon. I might break through the "super tough" you claim." he got out his Pokeball

Poppy giggled. "We'll see!"

"Let's go Dugtrio!" Florian throw out his Pokeball.

"Go on, Rajah!" Poppy throw her Pokeball and both Pokemon came out

"Trio, Tri." Dugtrio then eye widen at Copperrajah height.

"Dugtrio, Sand Tomb!" Florian yelled

"Trio!" Dugtrio dug underground and a huge hole appeared underneath Copperajah

"Uh oh. Rajah Stealth Rock!"

"Raaugh!" Cooperrajah roared as several silvering glowing rocks appeared, forming into blue rings around Dugtrio.

"Stealth Rock..." Florian muttered. "Dugtrio, Earthquake!"

"Dugtrio trio!" Dugtrio send out shockwave that shock on Cooperrajah.

"Get out of there Rajah!" Poppy begged as Cooperajah then roared and then jump out of their using its own strength to stand on the battlecourt. "Yay! Now it's revenge time with High Horsepower!"

"Raaaugh!" Cooperajah roared as her body surrounded by an orange aura and then charge toward Dugtrio and stomp on them.

"Trio!" Dugtrio grunted from the stomp as they dig underground to escape.

"Dugtrio, Earthquake!" Florian command

"Counter with yours!" Poppy command

Both Dugtrio and Copperajah send out shockwave and bother attacks intercept with each other.

"Use Heavy Slam!" Poppy command

"Raagh!" Copperajah roared as her hind legs and toenails glow white.

"Use Dig!" Florian command

"Trio!" Dugtrio hug underground and avoided the stomp, and then they dug a large hole underneath Cooperajah and struck.

"Raaagh!" As Cooperajah was knock out of the whole, her body then fell to the floor with circling eyes.

"Oh no! Rajah!" Poppy gasped and got a Pokeball. "Return!" and then recalled Cooperajah. She switch Pokeball. Corviknight, your turn!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Corviknight who crawl

"A Flying Type..." Florian remarked and then pull out a Pokeball. "Dugtrio returned!" Then recalled Dugtrio and switch with a different Pokeball. "Ceruledge, your turn!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Ceruledge

"Cer—" Ceruledge appeared... and then the Steath Rocks Activate and crush him. "Ce!"

"Hehe. Stealth rock will crush your Pokemon now that they been switch." Poppy giggled.

"Well, at this this fuel the fire." Florian chuckled as the rocks move away. "Ceruledge, Sword Dance!"

"Ceeer!" Ceruledge move around as his blades glow in purple fire.

"Op. You better watch out Squirt!" Rika yelled on the sideline.

"Yeppapedoo!" Poppy nodded. "Corviknight, Iron Defence!" She command as Corviknight crawled as he's surrounded by a blue aura. "That will coutner it.

"It will, but not for your other Pokemon. Ceruledge, Bitter Blade!"

"Cer!" Ceruledge's bladearm glow with purple fire, rush toward and then let out powerful slashes against Corviknight, knocking him away.

"Ah! Brave Bird!" Poppy command as Corviknight recovered and then his body surrounded by a light blue aura, then fly toward Ceruledge.

"Phantom Force!" Florian command as Ceruledge disappeared as Corviknight flew up when Ceruledge disappeared. As he look around, Ceruledge reappeared and was slashed from the back.

Ceruledge landed on his feet.

"Iron Head!" Popyp command as Corviknight crawl and steel appeared on its head and dive toward Ceruledge.

"Block it!" Florian command as Ceruledge shield himself with his bladearm and then Corviknight crash to Ceruledge and push him away, but Ceruledge hold on tight in his stand. "Now, Flame Wheel!"

"Ceer!" Ceruledge cloaked in fire and then push Corivknight away and tackle at the same time.

"Corviknight, Hurricane!" Poppy command

"Raa!" Corviknight crawled and slapped his wings to generate a powerful gust of wind to blow away Cerueldge to the floor and slam him there.

"Bitter Blade Ceruledge!" Florian yelled

"Ceeeee!" Ceruledge's bladearm glow purple flames, then rush toward.

"Hurricane again!" Poppy command as Corivknight craw and flapped his wings for another powerful gust of wind aim toward Ceruledge

"Dodge and finish it!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge dodge the powerful force of the wind and then jump and then launch a powerful slash, knocking Corivknight to the wall and crash there

"Craaa!" Corivknight yelled in agony and then he fell and eyes swirling.

"Oh no! Corviknight returned!" Poppy exclaimed and recalled Corviknight and then switch Pokeball. "Magnezone, go!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Magnezone.

"Magnezooone!" Magnezone roared.

"Ceruledge, Flame Wheel." Florian command as Ceruledge cloaked in fire and then ram toward Magnezone and struck, pushing it back.

"Discharge!" Poppy yelled.

"Magneeeeeee!" Magnezone shoot blue electricity at Ceruledge

"Phantom Force!" Florian command as Ceruledge disappeared to avoid the attack and then reappeared overhead and slash Magnezone down.

"Discharge again!' Poppy command.

"Magnezoooone!" Magnezone shoot blue electricity again and this time struck on Ceruledge.

"Ceeer!" Ceruledge grunt

"Bitter Blade!' Florian yelled

"Cerr!" Ceruledge readied his bladearm, rush toward Magnezone and then deliver a powerful bitterblade as purple flames engulp it

"Zooooooone!" Magnezone yelled in agony and then fell on the ground in defeat.

"N-No way..." Poppy shivered and then pull out a Pokeball. "Return!" then recalled Magnezone and then switch Pokeball. "Go Bronzone!" she throw and came out Brozone.

"Bron." Brozone roared.

"Bitter Blade!" Florian command as Ceruledge rush toward Bronzone before it can act and then attack with a powerful Bitter Blade, dealing super effective stunt

"Broooon!" Bronzone yelled in agony and was knocked away and slammed to the wall.

"So fast! I didn't get the chance to say anything!" Poppy exclaimed

"Remember Squirt. Flame Charge also boost it speed. Adding Sword Dance make a scary combo." Rika told her

"Oh that explain it! Oh..."

Florian swatdrop. "Maybe I should have hold back."

Poppy shook her head. "Nope. Otherwise, this wouldn't be an Elite test against my strong Pokemon! Bronzone, can you still stand?"

"Bron." Bronzone respond as it levetate back up.

"Okay, then use Earthquake!"

"Bron!" Bronzone slam its arm to the ground, creating a shockwave toward Ceruledge.

"Phantom Force!" Florian command as Ceruledge disappears and then reappears and slashes Bronzone to the floor.

Bronzone lights were out.

"Bronzone return!" Poppy recalled Bronzone. "Oooh."

"Feelin' scared Squirt?" Rika asked

"N-No! I'm not scared! My last Pokemon will turn things around!" Then she pull her final Pokeball. "Go Tinkaton!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Tinkaton.

"Tinkaton!" Tinkaton cheered

"And now it's time to get dressed up all pretty, Tinkie!" Poppy said as she pull out her Tera Orb and then gathering Tera Energy, then throw it overhead and encase Tinkaton and gain the Steel Tera Jewel.

"Tinkatoooooon!" Tinkaton roared.

"Okay! use Stone Edge!" Poppy command

"Tinkaaaaton!" Tinkaton summon stones around herself and then swing her hammer toward Ceruledge

"Deflect!" Florian command as Ceruledge swing his bladearms to throw away the stones.

"Use Gigaton Hammer!" Poppy yelled

"Tinkaaaatoon!" Tinkaton roared, lung toward Ceruledge as her hammer glow silver and unleash a powerful swing that knock Ceruledge away to the wall and slammed

"Cer!" Ceruledge grunted.

"Hehe!" Poppy giggled and smirked.

"Okay Ceruledge, let her have it!" Florian aim his arm forward. "Bitter Blade!"

Ceruledge open his eyes. "Ceer!" Cerueldge jump off the wall and aim toward Tinkton with purple flame arm

"Tiiiiin!" Tinkaton look surprised with the high speed and then Ceruledge deliver one powerful slash. "KAAAAAAAAA!"

Tinkaton was launch to the wall again and slam there. Her Tera Jewel shattered and she fell on the floor with swirling eyes.

"Tinkaaa..."

"Uagh?!" Poppy gasped and then look sad. "Mmmuuughhhh..."

(Resuming Elite Four Room)

Rika got up and then approached.

"Waaaaaah!" Poppy then cried and then ran toward Rika and hug her leg. "I wanted to take r-r-revenge for you, Ri-k-k-ka!"

"Pretty sure you mean "take revenge FOR" me, squirt." Rika patted Poppy's head. "Don't think I did anything wrong by you. Hate to say it, but you lost, Poppy. Better call the next guy."

Poppy wipe her tears and then gasped. "Oh, that's right! I haven't had to do this in a long time!" She turn to recalled Tinkaton. "Tinky, return!" Then she recalled Tinkaton.

'L-Long time? How many years is or month she meant?' Florian thought with a sweatdrop

Poppy approached the door. "It's your turn, Mr. Larry!"

Florian turn his head. "Larry?!"

The door opened and came in was Larry.

"Hello there... it's me, Larry." He introduced listlessly.

"Larry! You're also a member of the Elite Four?!" Florian exclaimed

"That's right. unfortunately." Larry answered, causing Florian to sweatdrop. "I see that you made it this far. At my Gym, I use Normal-type Pokemon, since I feel they have a lot of common with me. But, well, the boss told me to use a different type here. So if you have any complaints, please take them up with La Primera."

"I... see..." Florian scratch his cheek, looking confused. 'I can't tell if he wanted to complain about it or just want me too. But I rather not...' "I-I guess... we should get down to business then."

"Yes. Let's get down to business..." Larry nodded and then they both begin to take position. "Time to go to work."

(BGM paused)

(Resuming Elite Four Battle)

"Dragapult, you're up!" Florian throw his Pokeball and came out Dragpult.

"Dragpult!"

"Tropius, you're up." Larry throw his Pokeball and came out is Trapius.

"Traaaa!"Tropius roared.

'A Grass and Flying Type. Definitely not Grass Elite... but...' "Dragapult Dragon Dance!" Florian command

"Draaag!" Dragapult roared, surrounded by purple energy and spin around seven time and increase its speed and power

"Tropius, Dragon Pulse." Larry command

"Traaaa!" Tropius channeled a multicolor dragon form beam and fired at Dragapult

'I know a dragon-type move?!' "Phantom Force!" Florian command

"Dra." Dragapult disappeared into the portan and then reappeared and tackle Tropius.

"Tra!" Tropius winched

"Air Slash." Larry said as Tropius's wings glow light blue and created blades of energy and strike at Dragpult.

"Dragon Dart!" Florian command

"Draagpult!" Dragapult recovered and then fired two Dreepy from its hones.

"Hurricane." Larry said

"Raa!" Tropius's roared as his wings flapped with light blue energy, creating a powerful gust of wind to blow away the dreepys and then aim toward Dragapult and strike, swirling into the swing.

"Draaaaaaag!" Dragpult winched.

"Dragon Dart!" Florian command as Dragapult fired two Dreepy at Oricorio and strike her.

"Teeter Dance." Larry command

"Oricooooo!" Oricorio dances and creates waves of pink mist which spreads outwards and hits Dragapult, causing her confusion

"Draaaag?" Dragpult swirling her head.

"Dragapult hit your head!" Florian command as Dragapult slapped its face three times and shake off the confusion. "Now upclose with Shadow Ball!" Dragapult vanished and then realleared in front of Oricorio

"Orio?!" She exclaimed as Dragapult strike her with Shadow Ball. "Ori!" then was knock away flying.

Oricorio landed on her back but then got back on her feet and then used Icy Wind by blowing a beam of icy winfr frm her mouth and spinning around, forming a storm.

"Dragapult, time for Phantom Force!" Florian command as Dragapult vanished into the portal and avoided the chilly wind.

Once Oricorio stopped, Dragapult reappeared and headbutted herm knocking her awayf, flipping two times and fell on her back with swirling eyes.

"Oricorio return." Larry recalled and then switch Pokeball. "All yours, Altaria."

"Dragon Dart!" Florian command as Dragapult fired teo Dreepy.

"Cotton Guard." Larry command as Altaria glows blue, and her body becomes surrounded in a ball of cotton, causing the Dreepy to be bounce off. The cotton then disappears in a puff of smoke and Altaria glows orange, raising its defense. "Moonblast."

"Aaaaltaria!" Altaria channeling a pink sphere and throw it at Dragapult.

"Thought so, Dragapult, circle around Altaria!" Florian command as Dragapult dodge the Moon Blast and then lung, the circle around Altaria.

"Al?" Altaria look around to catch Dragapult but too fast.

"Dragon Pulse!" Florian command and Dragapult fired a powerful Dragon Pulse, knocking Altaria away.

"Altaria, Ice Beam." Larry command

"Counter with Shadow Ball!" Florian yelled

Altaria fired the Ice Beam while Dragapult throw Shadow Ball, both attack collide and both cause a powerful explosion. Altaria and Dragapult escape from the smoke to their trainers side.

"Dragon Pulse." Larry command

"Draco Meteor!" Florian command

"Altaaaar!" Altaria fired Dragon Pulse

"Dragapult!" Dragapult then fired a sphere and create Draco Meteor.

Dragapult was struck by Dragon Pulse but at the same time, Altaria been struck by Draco Meteor. Dragapult was push back while Altaria was slam to the ground as the other meteorites struck her. Altaria flapping to get back on her feet in heavy injuries while Dragapult has some injuries.

"All right, Dragapult, Fire multiple Shadow Balls!" Florian command

"Dodge and get up close for Ice Beam!" Larry command

Dragapult fired multiple Shadow Balls while Altaria then flew and go around the Shadow Ball and channeling Ice Beam and fired when gotten close.

"Draaaag!" Dragapult was strucked by Ice Beam and then knock away. "Drap..." Dragapult grumbled.

"Dragapult, can you still fight?" Florian asked

"Drag." She nodded

"All right, then let's end this with Dragon Pulse!"

"Dragapuult!" Dragapult then fired Dragon Pulse

Altaria then begin to challenged and fire Dragon Pulse, but Dragapult's Dragon Pulse overpower Altaria and struck her. Altaria fell to the floor as her eyes rolled.

"You too, Dragapult, take a rest." Florian then recalled Dragapult.

"You're even stronger than before. You also sharpen your tactics as well. Guess I don't get a break today." Larry sighed

"Go, Staraptor." Larry throw his Pokeball and came out Staraptor.

"You're up Revavroom!" Florian throw his Pokeball and then came out Revavroom who's started his engine.

"Dodge with Shift Gear!" Florian commanded as Revavroom swiftly dodged and as Shift Gear was in motion, increasing his speed and a power post as Staravptor was close to go for Close Combat. "Poison Jab!" Then Reavavroom used Poison Jab as her tongue strike on Staraptor.

"Star!" Staraptor winched but recovered.

"Air Slash." Larry command

"Staaarator!" Staraptor sent out multiple air blades toward Revavroom

"Push through with Spin Out!" Florian commands as Revavroom wheels start and then jump and lung toward Starptor.

"Dodge and use Close Combat." Larry command as Staraptor tilt his body as Revavroom pass through and then Staratpor repeatedly peck, kicks and hit with his wings, knocking Revavroom back to the floor.

Revavroom recovered.

"Gunk Shot!" Florian command as Revavroom shoot black bag of garbage toward Staratapid and struck Stararptor

"Staaar!" Staraptor winched, swirling and then recovered... only for it to be poison.

"Staraptor, Hurricane."

"Star!" Staraptor flapped his wings for a powerful gust of wind to be blown toward Revavroom who's holding on tight until being blown into the air.

"Revavroom, Gyro Ball!" Florian command as Revavroom recovered and started spinning rapidly and aim toward Staraptor and then knock him away

Staraptor recovered but the poison kick in.

"Brave Bird." Larry command

"Staaar!" Starptor cloaked in flames and then dive toward Revavroom.

"Gotcha." Florian smirked. " Spin out!"

Revavroom spin its wheels and then lung toward Staraptor and both attacks collide and explode. Staraptor and Revavroom landed on their feet but Staraptor fell in front as his eyes swirling.

"Staraptor return." Larry recalled Starptor to his Pokeball and then pull out one last Pokeball. "It's time to get some wind at our backs. Go Flamigo." He throw his Pokeball and came out Flamigo.

"Flamigo." Flamigo craw.

"Now, time for the presentation." Larry pull out Tera Orb and then begin gathering Tera Energy and then throw it over Flamigo, encasing Tera energy and gain the Flying Tera Jewel.

"Flamigo, Close Combat."

Flamigo rush toward Revavroom.

"Shift Gear!" Florian yelled

Revavroom dodged Flamigo's kicks and changing his wheel to increase speed and strength.

"Poison Jab!" Florian command as Revavroom's tongue then jab Flamigo away.

Flamigo then used Liquidation and launch swift kicks toward Revavroom but she dodge each and counter with Gunk Shot. Flamigo then go for Brave Bird as the tera jewel buff it and then slam Revavroom, knocking it back. Revavroom then fired Gunk Shot again but Flamigo dodge by moving his legal in a graceful style. Then Flamigo go for another Close Combat as he flurry kick him and deliver one powerful beak attack. Revavroom counter with Poison Jab.

"Flamigo, Throat Chop."

"Flam" Flamigo then rush toward Revavroom as its legs glow purple.

"Backflip!" Florian command as Revavroom backflip the moment Flamigo launch it attack, throw it off balance. Gunk Shot!" Then fired Gunk Shot and knock Flamigo away.

Flamigo's Tera Jewel shattered, returning to normal and then fell on his back.

(Resuming Elite Four Room)

Larry sighed. "Well, that took the wind from under our wings." Then he recalled Flamigo. "Yep. You really have grown a lot stronger and hone your tactic in battle. No wonder La Primera like you and the other one."

"Aww, thanks. Mr Larry." Florian scratch his hair. "And thank you Revavroom. You were awesome as always." He said as Revavroom engine talk happily.

"Now then... I suppose the final member of the Elite Four is next." Larry turn to the door. "It's your turn, Hassel..."

"Uh... Don't think he heard you, Larry." Rika said and then Larry got a bit closer to the door.

"I am Hassel, the dragon guarding the final fortress of the Elite Test. "Prepare to learn firsthand how the fiery breath of ferocious battle feels!"

"Drapult!" Dragapult fired a dragon pulse

"Use Dragon pulse too!" Hassel command

"Noivern!" Noivern fired her own dragon pulse and both attacks intercepted and exploded.

"Noivern, Tailwind!"

"Noviiiii!" Noivern flapping his wings and a whirlwind appeared, boosting her speed.

"Now use Hurricane!" Hassel command

"Noooiveern!" Noivern flapping his wings for a powerful gust of wind to be blown toward Dragapult.

"Dragapult, Dragon Dance!" Florian command

"Dragapuuult!" Dragapult's body glow in a blue aura and then fly around in circle, gliding around the hurricane.

"It's... becoming one with the hurricane?" Rika blinked.

"Woooow! That's so cool!" Poppy eye sparkling.

"Huh." Larry said with his Poker face but is amused

"Avoiding my Hurricane with Dragon Dance... Excellent!" Hassel smirked. "All right, Noivent, Air Slash.

"Noivern!" Noivent flapping her wings for air blades attack.

"Dodge then Dragon Dart!" Florian command as Dragapult circle around the air blades and then fired two Dreepy and strike Noivern.

Noivern then use Double Team to create clones, then Florian has Dragoult launch Draco Meteror to strike at the clones. The real Noivern dodged and then used Dragon Pulse. Dragapult was swift enough to dodge and counter with Dragon Rush. Noivern used Air Slash but Dragapult dodge it and counter with Dragon Dart. Dragon Dart struck against Nornivern as he was knock back. Noivern landed on his feet and then used fired Dragon Pulse.

"Phantom Force!" Florian command as Dragapult disappeared into the vortex and then reappeared and slam Noivern down to the floor as her eyes swirling.

"Noivern returned!" Hassel recalled his Pokemon and then switch Pokeball. "Haxorus, come forth!" Then came out Haxorus who roared. "Haxorus, Crunch!" Haxorus rush with speed.

"Counter with Dragon Rush!" Florian command as Dragapult surrounded by blue aura and then rush toward Haxorus and both attack slam into each other.

Haxorus was push back with Dragapult. Then Dragapult used Dragon Dart and both Dreepy missiles strike on Haxorus. Haxorus then use Rock Tomb as he raised his arms, summoning gray rocks and then throw them toward Dragapult to block most of its back. But Dragapult Agility to swiftly above that.

"Dragon Rush!" Florian command as Dragapult zoom toward Haxous and then slammed him.

"Haaaax!" Haxorus roared and slam to the wall with heavy hit. Haxorus fell to his knees but refuse to give up. "Haxoooooorus!"

"Draco Meteor!" Hassel yelled.

"Haxoruuuuus!" Haxorus channel a sphere within his mouth and then fire it into the sky and then rain down meteors.

"Dance around with Dragon Rush!" Florian command

"Drag!" Dragapult cloak in a blue aura and then swiftly move around, avoiding each meteorite until reach Haxorus and tackle him

"Haaaaaaax!" Haxorus was knock away and then fell on his back with swirling eyes.

"Haxorus return!" Hassel recalled Haxorus and then switch to a different Pokeball. "Dragalge, go!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Dragalge.

"Draaaaa." Dragalge hissed.

"Dragapult, Dragon Dart!" Florian command as Dragapult fired both Dreepy Darts at lightning speed and struck on Dragalge.

"Dragalge!" Dragalge grunted and then glared.

"Use Sludge Bomb!" Hassel yelled as Dragalge then shoot multiple sludge at Dragapult.

"Dodge!" Florian command as Dragapult dodge each sludge. "Counter with Dragon Dart!"

"Drag!" Dragapult then fired two Dreepy against and this time, done a super effective damage and knock Dragalge away.

"Dra...Dragalge..." Dragalge panted.

"Oh my." Hassel close his eyes. "Dragalge, Dragon Pulse!"

"Dragaaale!" Dragalge fired Dragon Pulse.

"Dodge and finish with Dragon Pulse!" Florian command as Dragapult dodged and then fired back Dragon Pulse. Came into contact and knock away Dragalge and fell on his back.

"Draaa..." Dragalge eye swirling.

"Dragalge, return!" Hassel recalled and then switch Pokeball. "Flapple, your turn!" Then came out Flapple.

"Flapple!" Flapple roared.

"Can you keep going Dragapult?" Florian asked

"Drag." Dragapult respond with a nod.

"I shouldn't asked." Florian chuckled. "Dragon Rush!" He command and Dragapult rush with Dragon Rush

"Protect!" Hassel command as Flapple form a green barrier and block off Dragon Rush.

"Now use Dragon Rush!" Hassel command and then Flapple cloak in a green aura and then ram Dragapult away.

"Draaaag!" Dragapult yell in agony and then fell on her back and eye swirling.

"Dragapult, return!" Florian recalled his Pokeball. "You really work hard. Take a good rest." Then he switch Pokeball. "Meowscarada, you're up!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Meowscarada.

"Meow!" Meowscarada meowed.

"Your Meowscarada this time. Very well. Flapple, Aerial Ace!"

Flaapple then rush to Meowscarda.

"Double Team!" Florian command as Meowscarada created clones of himself as Flapple hit one but now begin to look which is the real one. "Play Rough!"

"Meow!" Meowscarada and the clones charge in and then pummel with Play Rough, trucking against Flapple and then Meowscarada knock Flapple away.

"Hmm... not good. I must go for a different approach. "Dragon Pulse the field!"

"Flaaaplle!" Flapple then fired Dragon Pulse onto the field and then cause an explosion as Meowscara shield themselves but the clones were wipe out.

"Now, Air Slash!" Hassel command as Flapple flap her wings and blow away the smoke and then struck on Meowscarada.

"Meow!" Meowscarada grunt but recovered.

"All right, Meowscarada, time for the Flower Trick!" Florian command

"Meow!" Meowscarada snapped his finger and the flowers disappeared then reappeared overhead, causing an explosion and a critical hit, but not very affective.

"Air Slash Flapple." Hassel command

"Flaaple!" Flapple send out air blades toward Meowscarada.

"Now Play Rough!" Florian command as Meowscarada dash to Flapple and then Play Rough, knocking her away and then fell on the ground in defeat.

"Flapple return!" Hassel recalled Flapple. "Just one more push and you'll Pass the Elite Test, Florian." Hassel pull out his Final Pokeball. "Now, come forth Baxcalibur!

"Baaaaax!" Baxcalibur roared.

"Come O great dragon." Hassal brought out his Tera Orb. "Take the Tera Jewel as your crown!" He gather Tera Energy into the orb and then throw it overhead and encase Baxcalibur, gaining the Dragon Tera Jewel.

"BAXCALIBUUUUUUR!"

"Okay Meowscarada, let's put on a good show." Florian said

"Meow." Meowscarada nodded in agreement.

"Bazcalibur, Icicle Crash!" Hassel yelled

"Baaaax!" Baxcalibur deep breath and releases a wind with light blue sparkles from its mouth into the air, then, small clumps of ice form in the wind and grow longer and larger, forming into sharp icicles, then rain down.

"Agility." Florian commands as Meowscarada move swiftly to avoid being touched by the ice and increase his speed. "Play Rough!"

Meowscarada then move swiftly and then pummel Baxcalibur in a thick white smoke and then push him away. Baxcalibur then go for Dragon Glaive by rushing and attack with its back, striking Meowscarda, knocking him back. Meowscarada growled and then Baxcalibur then fired Ice Beam toward Meowscarada and then floor, freezing into slippery and solid ice. Meowscarada then used Flower Trick and bombarded him with smoke. Baxcalubur roared to blow away the smoke and then used Dragon Claw as he rush toward him. Meowscarada gracefully dodged and then counter with Night Slash to his face. Meowscarada then proceed with Play Rough, dealing Super Effective hit. Then Baxcalubur use Dragon Tail and knock Meowscarada away.

"Baxcalibur, Dragon Glaive!" Hassel yelled

"BAAAAAAX!" Baxcalibur rush toward Meowscarada.

"Flower Trick." Florian smirked.

"Meow." Meowscarada wave his hands around as Baxcalibur then strike him, only to struck was a flower.

"What the?!" Hassel gasped

"Bax?!" Baxcalibur gasped as a spotlight appeared from behind and reveal Meowscarada rasing his arm and slapped his finger as it echoe, then flower rain down and cause a large explosion on Baxcalibur. "BAAAAAAAX!"

As tension was within the room. The smoke clear with Baxcalibur standing still... until his Tera Jewel shattered, returning to normal and fell in front of him with his eyes swirling.

"Y-You really did it..." Rika said in surprise

While Larry still look the same with his Poker face. "Huh."

"Wo... WONDERBUL!" Hassel then burst into tears.

"Meow?!" Meowscarada startled.

"I'b...Ib just so proud ob you... BWUUUH huh huh hoi hoi!" Hassel covering his face as he cried while Florian and Meowscarada sweatstop.

Rika sighed and palm face. "Sorry 'bout all this, Florian. The old man can get like this sometimes."

"Guess I've got to do the talking. Anyway, your result for the Elite Test of the Champion Assessment is... a pass!" Rika smiled. "No doubt about it!"

Rika clear her throat. "Congratulations! I'd say you're good to go, but... there's actually just a wee bit more to the Champion Assessment. This'll be your final trial." She turn to the door. "See the door back there? Our fearless commander—the final opponent you'll face for your test—is waiting beyond it. Her skills are so amazing, she was able to strong-arm all of us into joining the Elite Four. You won't find a mightier Champion. Though I think you'll do fine, kiddo! You beat me, after all. I'll patch your team—on the house—so don't lose, you hear?"

"I won't! You can count on me!" Florian nodded as Rika brought out Full Restore and Max PP as Gallade, Dragapult, Ceruledge, Revavroom and Dugtrio then begin to patch up Florian's Pokemon.

"I really love your Pokemon, mister!" Poppy cheered. "Your big kitty is so amazing!"

"Seriously. I thought he taken the hit." Rika said

Florian chuckled. "Meowscarada is the Magician Pokemon. He's skill at misdirection."

"Meow." Meowscarada snickered.

"So cool! So I'll cheer for you as hard as I can!"

"Well, uh, good lu—"

"Even a baby dragon can breathe fire!" Hassel suddenly yelled, causing everyone to turn to him

"Whoa! Guess you got over your sobs, huh?"

"You can do this. We all know you can. Now go, Young Florian! Your hands may be small, but let them seize a great victory!" Hassel said as he and Poppy step aside.

"Thanks, everyone." Florian smiled as he recalled his Pokemons. "I will be victorious!"

"While you and our leader battle each other. I'm gonna call Renne and let her know." Rika said as she got out her Rotom Phone.

Florian then go to the door and passes through it. The Hallway contains an elevator which he use to reach the top floor which was the only option. He press it and then the elevator take him up. The elevator arrived and Florian exit, arriving at the rooftop where it was sunset. Standing in the middle was Geeta.

"Le Primera." Florian approached

"Welcome, Florian." Geeta greeted. "It gives me great joy that you've managed to make it all the way to the pinnacle of the Pokemon League. The final test is a battle against me, the Top Champion."

"And all I got to pass is to defeat you and win."

"Precisely. But before we get started, I should apologize for one thing."

"You see, I have a trait that some might say is inappropriate for the League Chairwoman. I am utterly incapable of holding back when it comes to Pokemon battles." Geeta then walk to take position. "Maybe that's why nobody's passed this test recently. It's a bit of a problem, to be honest. But you... You might managed something wonderful, like Champion Nemona did. You and Miss Bright" She turn around. "So, are you ready for your final test? I want to see the true measure of your talent."

Florian close his eyes and then gave a determine look.

"Dugtrio, Dig!" Florian command

"Trio!" Dugtrio quickly dug to avoid being blasted by the light.

"Dodge." Geeta command as Espathea jump and avoided Dugtrio's attack. "Use Dazzling Gleam."

"Espaaa!" Espathra unleash a rainbow light that struck on Dugtrio.

"Trio!" Dugtrio grunted.

"Sucker Punch!" Florian command and then Dugtrio then headbutted Espatha.

"Sand Tomb!" Florian command as Dugtrio dug and then a large hole appeared, pulling Espathra in.

"Es!" Espathra grunted.

"Lumina Crush!" Getta command as Espathra eyes flash with the same pink energy and then it struck Dugtrio with a critical hit

"Trio!" Dugtrio grunted and feeling woobly.

"Dugtrio!" Florian exclaimed.

"Ah, a critical hit. Poor dear." Geeta smiled. "Now burs tout of there with Psychic."

"Espathraaaa!" Espathra channel Psychic energy around herself and the psychic pulse push back the sand, allowing Espathra to jump out of there. "Now use Lumina Crash!"

"Dugtrio, Stone Edge!" Florian yelled

"Espaaa!" Espathra unleash Lumina Crush

"Trio, trio!" While Dugtrio summon stones around and throw them at Espathra. Both Attack struck both Pokemon together with an explosion.

As the smoke clear, Dugtrio and Espathra were K.O

"Oh. Both our Pokemon are out?" Geeta mused. "Espathra, return!"

"You too, Dugtrio." Florian said as he recalled Dugtrio as Geeta did with Espathra. "Go ahead and get some rest." He said and switch Pokeball. "Go Revavroom!" He throw his Pokeball

"Join us Gogoat!" Geeta throw her Pokeball and both Pokemon came out

"Goooo!" Gogoat said while Revavroom started his engine.

"Revavroom, Poison Jab!" Florian command as Revavroom started her engine and rush toward Gogoat

"Dodge and Zen Headbutt."

Gogoat jump out of the way and then his forehead glow blue and slam his head on Revavroom, pushing him away. Revavroom recovered and then used Shift Gear to increase speed and strength.

"Bunk up." Getta command as Gogoat howl and an orange aura cloak him and boost strength and defense.

"Now use Gunk Shot!" Florian command as Revavroom fired a trash bag from her mouth.

"Dodge and use Earthquake." Geeta command as Gogoat jump out of the way and then stomp its feet and a shockwave was launch and struck Revavroom who screech in agony.

"Revaroom!" He yelled as Revavroom fell to her side, slowly getting up from the four Super Effevtive hit. "Are you all right?" He asked as Revavroom engine run with a yes. "Okay, Shift Gear!" He said as his engine starting running and building speech and strength. "Now Spin Out!

Revavroom then spin fiercely and rush toward Gogoat and slamed him, knocking him away.

"Go!" Gogoat grunted as he slide but remain standing. "Go!"

"Zen Headbutt!" Geeta command

"Iron Head!" Florian command

Revavroom wheel's starting kicking in and rush in while Gogoat's forehead glow a blue energy, rush and then both Gogoat and Revavroom crash into each other and push each other away. Both begin to headbutt each other with speed and strength and hit each other four times until the final one result in a power struggle until Revavroom overpower Gogoat, knocking him away.

"All right, Poison Jab!" Florian yelled

Revavroom's wheels rush toward Gogoat and launch a strong tongue Poison Jab.

"Gooooo!" Gogoat yelled in agony, rolled and then his eyes were swirling.

"Gogoat, return!" Geeta recalled Gogoat and then switch Pokeball. "Veluza, go!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Veluza.

"Veluza!" She screeched.

"Revavroom, Gunt Shot!" Florian command as Revavroom shoot the trash bag at Veluza.

"Cut it with Psycho Cut!" Geeta command

"Vel!" Veluza's tail glow light pink and then she flip and send a large Psycho Cut that slash Gunk Shot and then struck Revavroom.

Revavroom rolled on her back and then eyes were rolling.

"Revavroom, return!" Florian recalled and then switch Pokeball. 'Gallade, you're up!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Gallade

"Gallade." Gallade took his stand.

"Use Leaf Blade!" Gallade's forearm glow green and lung at and deliver a critical and Super Effective Slash that knocked Veluza away, passed Geeta which surprised her as Veluza crash to the wall and fell as her eyes swirling.

"Oh my. That surprised me." Geeta clapped and then pull out a Pokeball. "Return!" She recalled Veluza and then switch Pokeball. "Avalugg!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Avalugg

"Avalugg!" She grunted.

"Gallade, Sacred Blade!" Florian command

"Gallade!" Gallde's forearm glow pink and extended and rush.

"Avalanche!" Geeta command as Avalugg roared as her body glow light blue and dark clouds appeared over Galalde, then chucks of white ice rain down on him.

Gallde begin to be halted by Avalanche, but then he burst out of there and then rush toward Avalugg.

"Dodge and kick him back!" Geeta yelled as Avalugg move her body as Gallade slash, then turn her body and backkick him away.

Gallade recovered skillfully.

"Gallade, Psycho Cut!" Florian command

"Counter with Icicle Crash!"

"Gaaall/Avaaa!" Both Gallade and Avalugg send out both their said attacks as Psycho cut was launch while Icicle Crash was next.

Both attack collide with each other and explode.

"Gallade, Sword Dance!" Florian command as Gallade perform his Sword Dance routine.

"Avalugg, Earthquake!" Getta command as Avalugg stomped her feet and send a shockwave toward Gallade

"Cancel by punching the ground with Sacred Blade!" Florian yelled

"Gallll!" Gallade's Forearm glow link and extended and punch the ground, creating a pink energy shockwave that intercept the shockwave and exploded.

"Oh, that's impressive." Geeta smirked. "Avalugg Blizzard!"

"Avaluuuug!" Avalugg open her mouth and unleash a powerful blizzard toward Gallade use his arms as a shield as Florian shield himself with his arm.

"Gallade, pierce through with Sacred Blade!" Florian command

"Gall!" Gallade's forearm glow pink and extended, then he rush toward Avalugg despite the power blizzard slowing him down, he overcame it and then land a powerful critical slash against her

"Avaaaaaa!" Avalugg was knock away and slammed to the wall as Gallade jump back to Florian side.

"Hahahaha! A bold gambit. Avalugg, return!" Geeta recalled her Pokeball and then switch Pokeball. "Kingambit, go!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Kingambit.

"Kingambit." He respond.

"I haven't seen that Pokemon yet." Florian pull out his Rotom Phone and scan it.

"Kingambit. The Big Blade Pokemon and the final evolve form of Pawniard. A Dark and Steel Type. Only a Bisharp that stands above all others in its vast army can evolve into Kingambit. Though it commands a massive army in battle, it's not skilled at devising complex strategies. It just uses brute strength to keep pushing."

"It looks definitely like a warlord or something. This will be a bigger challenge." Florian said. "Still, Fighting and Steel, huh?, be ready Gallade."

"Gallade."

"This one is a challenging one, Kingambit. Be aware." Geeta said

"Kingam." Kingambit respond.

"Gallade, Sacred Blade!" Florian yelled

"Counter with Kowtow Cleave!" Geeta yelled

Gallade and Kingambit both rush at each other with their attacks and both clash, causing a strong shockwave. Gallade swing and slash with swordplay while Kingambit did the same. Both push each other away.

"Psycho Cut!" Florian yelled

"Gallade!" Gallade!" Gallade send out multiple blades at Kingambit.

"Stone Edge!" Geeta command

"King." Kingambit's summon white rings around himself and then form into gray stones and launch them toward the Psyco Blades to intercept with each other, causing explosion.

"Now Ironhead!"

"Kingaam!" Kingambit's helmet blade glow silver and rush t Gallade and slam him

"Gall!' Gallade was push back and even flinched.

"An opening. Kowtow Cleave!" Geeta command as Kingambit lung toward Gallade and slashed him.

"Gaaall!" Gallade winched and fell to his knees.

"Gallade, are you okay?" Florian asked.

"Gall." Gallade got back on his feet and then let out a roar. "Galllaaade!" Then took his stand

"Guess you.. Oh! Gallade, Close Combat!"

"Gall!" Gallade then lung toward Kingambit.

"Block it!" Geeta command as Kingambit used his steel arms to shield himself as Gallde launch a flurry of slashes and kicks and then the final slash knock back Kingambit away.

Kingabit recovered but felt some damage

"Most impressive. Kingambit, Zen Headbutt!" Geeta command

"Counter with Sacred Blade!" Florian command

Kingambit and Gallade readied their attacks as Kingambit lugn and slash, Gallade block with Sacred Blade and the two of them swing at each other until both of them lock on the power struggle and then push each other away.

"Gallade!" Florian arm his arm

"Kingambit!" Geeta aim her arm

"Sacred Blade/Kowtow Cleave!" Both yelled

"Gaaaall!" Gallade readied his Sacred Blade

"Kiiiing!" Kingambit readied his Kowtow Cleave.

"Ade!"

"Ambit!"

Both Gallade and Kingambit lung at each other and then both attack strike through each other. A mere seconds of waiting, Both Gallade and Kingambit fell in front and eyes were rolling.

"Gallade return!" Florian recalled

"You as well Kingambit!" Geeta recalled as well as both Pokemon were recalled. "It's been awhile since Kingambit has been given both a challenge and been defeated. Both of our Pokemon fell for the second time. And yet, you still have three while I only have one. I haven't felt being corner after Champion Nemona."

"Haha. Well here's hoping that once I win, I will face her as her equal."

"There is without question you will." Geeta pull out her final Pokeball. "But only if you defeated me."

"Which I will." Florian pull out his Pokeball.

"Go, Meowscarada/Glimmora!" Both Florian and Glimmora throw out their Pokeballs and came out said Pokemon

"Meow!" Meowscarada respond

"Gliiim." Glimmora came out

"Huh? I never seen that Pokemon before." Florian pull out his Rotom Phone and scan it.

"Glimmora, the Ore Pokemon. A Rock and Poison Type. Glimmora's petals are made of crystallized poison energy. It has recently become evident that these petals resemble Tera Jewels. When this Pokémon detects danger, it will open up its crystalline petals and fire beams from its conical body."

"Its appearance..." Florian stare at Glimmora, recalled the appearance of Miraidon and Iron Tread. 'Could it be...?'

"Curious, are you?" Geeta asked

"Haha. Yeah." Florian answered

"Well, perhaps you'll find out after this battle." Geeta pull out her Tera Orb. "Be the light that glides all Trainer, Glimmora!" She gather Tera Energy, throw it over Glimmora and encasing him with Tera Energy, gaining the Rock Tera Jewel.

"GLIIIM!" Glimmora roared

"A rock Type. In that case." Florian got out his Tera Orb and gathering energy, throw it over Meowscarada, encasing him with Tera Energy, gaining the Grass Tera Jewel.

"MEOOOW!" Meowscarada roared

'Meowscarada! Flower Trick!" Florian yelled as Meowscarada snapped his finger and then rain down Floer bombs and struck against Glimmora.

But upon damaging it, Toxic Spikes scattered on the battlefield.

"Huh?" Floirna look around with Meowscarada.

"Ah yes. That's Glimmora's special ability. Toxic Debris. Whenver it been hit with Psychic, Toxic Spikes will appeared. So beware." Geeta said. "Sludge Wave!"

"Glimmora!" Glimmora roared as a big wave a dark purple sludge form around and then hurl toward Meowscarada.

"Dodge but be careful where you step!" Florian yelled as Meowscarada backflip to avoid the sludge. "Energy Ball!"

Meowscarada landed and with the Tera Jewel, Meowscarada throw a large energy ball toward.

"Sludge Wave around yourself!" Geeta command as Glimmora surround himself with dark purple sludge and form into a barrier that shield him from Eneergy Ball.

"No way!" Florian exclaimed

"Now use Dazzling Gleam!" Geeta command

"Glimooooora!" Glimmora surrounded by rainbow shine and got bright, striking Meowscarada as he cover his eyes.

"Meow!" Meowscarada grunted.

"Meowscarada, Flower Trick!" Florian who's covering his eyes with his arm command

"Meow!" Meowscarada open his eyes and then snapped his finger and multiple flower bombs rain down.

"Sludge Wave!" Geeta command

"Gliiim!" Glimmora surround himself with dark Purple Sludge again, forming into a barrier to prevent Flower Trick from hitting.

"Grr!" Florian growled until he got an idea. "Meowscarada, channel your energy ball!"

"Meow!" Meowscarada gathering energy ball and the Tera Jewel also enlarge it

"Now launch it!" Geeta command.

"Glimooora!" Glimmora then launch the sludge at Meowscarada

"Slam it on the ground!" Florian yelled

"Meow!" Meowscarada then slam the Energy Ball to the floor, causing a green shockwave that remove the poison spikes and block off the sludge

"Oh my!" Geeta gasped.

"Glim!" Glimmora respond in shock.

"Now finish it with Leaf Storm!" Florian yelled as he swing his arm.

"Meeeeooooow!" Meowscarada raise his arm and body outline turquoise energy, summoning and surrounding a large number of green glowing leaves, and with the Tera Jewel boosting its power. "Meow!" Meowscarada then fire at it Glimmora!

"Tera Blast at once!" Geeta yelled

"Glimoooooraaa!" Glimmora roared and channeling Tera Energy and fired a rock Tera energy beam to intercept with Leaf Storm

A power struggle is lock between them. Meowscarada hiss until his strength overcome Glimmora's Tera Blast, causing it to look shocked and cause a massive explosion.

Geeta shield her eyes with her arm as Florian did the same. Meowscarada remain unflinched as the smoke clears. Once it did, it revealed Glimmora's Tera Jewel was cancelled and reveal defeat with his eyes swirling.

"I... I did it?" Florian blinked until his excitement piled up and raised his fist. "I DID IIIIT!"

Meowscarada Tera jewel cancel as well and cheered alongside Florian. "MEOOOW!"

The two of them hug each other while spinning and then came out to join was Gallade, Dugtrio, Revavroom, Ceruledge, and Dragapult, gathering together for a grup hug as they laughed

Geeta recalled Glimmora and then clapping her hands. "Such overwhelming power..." She approached. "Such amazing skill... It seems Paldea has gained another wonderful Trainer to be proud of." She smiled next. "Congratulations. It's my honor to call you Champion Florian."

"Congratulations" is right!" Rika came from the elevator with Poppy, Larry and Hassel. "Now I can really say you're good to go!"

"Yaaay! You did it, mister!" Poopy cheered

"Congratulations." Lerry nodded with his Poker face.

"J-j-just ABAAAZING!" Hassel cried. "I gan't... I GAN'T HOLD ID IN ANYBOOOOORE!"

Everyone sweatdrop.

"Ooh boy... crying again?" Rika sighed.

Geeta chuckled clear her throat as Florian turn. "You Pokemon Trainers are the treasure of Paldea. And amid that treasure, Champions are the jewels that shine brightest. Champion Florian. It is now your duty to set an example for all the Trainers of Paldea. Now, allow me to walk you back to the entrance. I'm certain you'll find a familiar face awaiting you."

"Haha. I bet." Florian smiled

"Now all that left is Renne herself." Rika said. "She should arrived just now."

"Indeed. I must heal my Pokemon for her as well. I'm looking forward for another Champion in Paldea." Geeta nodded in a smile.

"Yeah." Florian nodded as he, his Pokemon and Geeta begin to leave the Rooftop and make their way back to the entrance.

Upon arriving, Nemona and Renne are waiting.

"Florian! Florian!" Nemona yelled as she ran up while Renne sighed and walk up.

"Hey, Nemona." Florian smiled

"Let me guess, you became champion?" Renne asked

"Haha! Sure did!" Florian thumps up

"Ha haaah! I knew all along!" Nemona cheered.

"Rika called me and let me know that you passed the Elite Test and was to make my way there after I finish training. Nemona on the other hand was informed by our Top Champion." Renne said

"Yeah! Oh, man, Florian! I'm a Champion, and now, you're a Champion! All that's left is Renne! And if she pass, then that means we're all true equals! We'll be Champion-ranked Trainers! This is amazing!"

"Amazing indeed. I can feel your presence. You may tried to high it, but I can tell how strong you are by looking." Renne smiled. "With that, I believe my time has come. Cheer for me?"

"Of course!" Florian fist pump. "I'll be waiting for you, Renne!"

"Me too!" Nemona cheered

"Excellent. In that case, Miss Bright. Please right this way." Geeta said as she and Renne go inside.

My god that was a bit longer than I expected with many Pokemon Battles at once. Then again, a certain event will have that and I'm gonna need to prepare. *sigh*
