This is Part II of the Tenth Anniversary Special. Last time, Cynder confronted Mister Negative at the party, trying to figure out why he came to this. Mister Negative reveals, admittedly cryptically, that this was forced on him, before putting Cynder under his power and letting her loose on Spyro and Spider-Man. Some quick thinking and quicker slinging from Spider-Man snapped her out of it. After a few minutes to recover, including a visit from Silver Sable and a warning to Yuri, the trio sets out to locate Mister Negative's next target, Dr. Morgan Michaels. So, what awaits? Read on to discover...

(Our scene resumes quickly after Spyro, Cynder, and Spider-Man left Empire State University. The three are perched on a rooftop, surveying their next move, when Yuri calls in)

Yuri: Spider-Man, who exactly is this Dr. Michaels?

Spider-Man: Best guess, he's the lead scientist on the Devil's Breath project. Why, did you find him?

Yuri: Yes and no. Sable's got him in a safehouse somewhere in the city, but nobody's telling me where.

Spyro: Best guess, Osborn put him under protection the second he heard about Charles Standish being attacked.

Spider-Man: Wait, I thought you and Sable were working together?

Yuri: You're not the only one.

Cynder: Sit tight Yuri, I'll put in a call to Sable. Chances are she might tell me where to look.

Spyro: And if not, I think we've got a back-up plan that just might work. We'll keep you posted.

(And with that, Yuri hangs up, while Cynder pulls out what looks like a second phone, which catches everybody off guard)

Spider-Man: Wait, since when did you have a second phone?

Cynder: This is a specially modified Sable International comm system. Specially modified as such that it only contacts one other unit: Sable's own comm unit. She owes me a favor anyways, let's hope now's a good time to cash in.

(With that, Cynder dials the one number on the comm system, instantly reaching Silver Sable)

Silver Sable: Cynder? I'm surprised you still have that thing.

Cynder: Been waiting for the right occasion. Look, I know this probably isn't the best time, but I need to call in that favor you owe me.

Silver Sable: Given my current situation, I'm not sure I'll be able to honor it right now. But I'll hear you out.

Cynder: I need to know where Morgan Michaels is being kept.

Silver Sable: Cynder, believe me, I wish I could help you there, but my hands are tied. Osborn has me in a legal noose on that subject. And has ever since Standish was attacked. Legally speaking, he's the only one who can know where Michaels is, else I lose this contract. And you know we need every cent we can get for the situation in Symkaria. I'm sorry, but I can't honor that favor at this point.

Cynder: (With a sigh) I understand, Sable. Thanks for hearing us out anyways. (Hangs up) Damn it.

Spider-Man: She seems really dedicated to the situation in Symkaria.

Cynder: She's part of its royal family, what do you expect?

Spyro: Guess we're going with plan B.

Spider-Man: On it.

(With that, Spider-Man dials MJ, only she doesn't answer, instead Ember does.)

Ember: Pete? What's up?

Spider-Man: (Confused) Ember? Where's MJ?

Ember: In the shower. I can take a message in the meantime. (A door opens on her end of the call) Wait, that's her now actually. Let me transfer you.

MJ: Hey, Pete. Did you guys find Dr. Delaney at the party?

Spider-Man: Yeah, but so did Li.

MJ: Oh no, what happened?

Spyro: Li, or as Cynder's calling him now "Mister Negative", corrupted him and made him commit suicide.

MJ: That's horrible! We've got to stop this guy!

Cynder: And we will. Before Delaney died, he gave a name. A Dr. Morgan Michaels.

MJ: Who is he?

Spider-Man: Not sure, but I'd bet my webs that he's involved with Devil's Breath. Did you find anything out from that file by the way?

MJ: Did we ever. Get this. A couple of years ago, Osborn came to Fisk and asked him to build the lab, but to keep it off the books and secret from regulators.

Spyro: A secret lab? For Devil's Breath? And one that not even regulatory agencies know about?

Cynder: I wish I could say I was surprised, but this is Norman Osborn we're talking about.

MJ: If it's as bad as we think it is, that's definitely not surprising.

Spider-Man: So where's the lab?

MJ: No idea. Osborn made Fisk destroy all records of it. All I've got are invoices from Osborn to Fisk Construction. Kingpin probably kept those for blackmail material.

Spyro: Everything points back to Norman Osborn.

Cynder: So let's see what he has to say about all of this.

MJ: I doubt he's going to tell you.

Cynder: Who said we were asking him? We're going to pay him a little visit.

MJ: (Realizing exactly what they're talking about) Good luck. I have a feeling you'll need it. (Hangs up)

Spyro: Wait, you don't actually mean...

Cynder: I do. We're going to Oscorp. We're going to break in, and we're going to find out what this Devil's Breath crap is once and for all.

(Realizing Cynder's not backing down, Spyro and Spider-Man just go along with her. Spyro and Cynder fly off in Oscorp's direction first, with Spider-Man following behind on his webs)

Spider-Man: (In what has to be the worst Han Solo impression I've ever heard) I've got a bad feeling about this.

(And on that ominous note, our tale ends for today)

This concludes Part II of the Tenth Anniversary Special. For Part III, head on over to The Injustice Wars. Looks like we're finally going to get some answers to this Devil's Breath thing. Or at least we will once we break into Oscorp. Now this is going to get interesting. So how's this righteous B going to go? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
