Usagi sat next to Mamoru as they used the computer system at the Rhea family ranch to check on the senshi who after being resurrected by the crystal were sent back to their human lives with no memories of their Sailor identities or the battles. Katherine Rhea being the exception as she wasn't actually dead and was in a coma being cared for in one of the hidden rooms of the ancient ancestral home of the Terran Royalty.
Usagi sighed and leaned into Mamoru, "Are you ok, Usako?" She nodded, kissing her boyfriend's cheek and getting up. The couple then made their way to the more modest and modern area of the ranch to join with Roselyn and the generals.
"Hey. Usa. How are the girls doing?" Roselyn Rhea asked as she looked up as her brother and his girlfriend entered the room.
"They are doing good," The blonde girl responded with a hint of sadness. Mamoru took a seat on the extra-large lounge chair and motioned for his girlfriend to join him, She accepted the invite, climbing onto his lap and getting comfortable and snuggling into him. "How are the plans going?"
Kevin looked away from the computer and smiled, "All set. We have gotten three apartments in the same building as Mamoru. Our transcripts have been transferred to Azabu High School and Juban Junior High School."
Zach smiled at Usagi in Mamoru's lap as she looked a little dejected, "We are just planning on being close in case of emergency. We will keep our distance when not invited and leave you two to your own devices."
The rest of the occupants of the room all nodded in agreement. Usagi smiled and whispered something into Mamoru's ear. "Later. It is almost lunch time." Usagi nodded and the group changed the topic to general teenage banter.
Usagi spent the better part of the next month getting to know her future in-laws and the generals. She learned how to ride a horse, how to take care of the other ranch animals, as well as keeping up with studies. They arrived back in Tokyo in time to celebrate Usagi's birthday at the end of June.
TOKYO … June 30th
The Terran siblings, generals and Usagi's school friends threw her a surprise birthday party, the only disappointment was that the senshi weren't there. They spent the afternoon in the park playing games, sharing snacks and overall having fun. Presents were opened and Usagi was surprised and looked to Mamoru curiously when she realized that the presents were all opened and she hadn't gotten one from him.
[Later] Mamoru told her telepathically with a mischievous smile. [Enjoy your party.]
It was well into the evening by the time the group had finished cleaning up the remnants of the party and Mamoru nodded to the generals as he took Usagi's hand and leading her away from the group. Roselyn and the generals nodded all smiling as they continued with the clean up.
"Where are you taking me? We should be helping clean up." Usagi asked as she allowed her self to be lead away from her friends.
Just then Mamoru spun her around kissing her, "I just wanted some privacy to give you this," he said handing her a jewelry box. She looked at her boyfriend in awe as she opened the box and found a pair of beautiful golden earrings and a star shaped locket. He motioned for permission to put the golden chain holding the locket around her neck.
She nodded tears in her eyes and once it was secured they shared another passionate kiss,` bond be damned. `Mamoru thought.
Suddenly there was a loud clap of thunder and a cloud opened above them and a child fell from the sky landing between the couple, knocking them apart. Usagi looked up from where she fell to the ground to see a child with pink cotton candy haired girl sitting where she landed in Mamoru's lap.
