Down at a local town, a local store was in the middle of a normal day of work. It seemed like just an average day as a lady had a look at some accessories. She had her eyes on what she liked, but that meant she could see something unusual. The accessories were beginning to float.

"What's this?!" All of them noticed that all the accessories were floating in the air. Everything was moving on its own. It was rather ominous and people were getting nervous about it.

I want to be the very best

Like no one ever was

To catch them is my real test

To train them is my cause

Every challenge along the way

I will battle every day to claim my rightful place

(Davis' voice): Little Miss Mischief

Our heroes are continuing on with their journey. Now that Davis has his first badge, he's got his sights set on his second. For right now, they're passing through a small town.

"This town has a lot of stores." Cletus said as he looked over a guide on it. "I see a few we can use. We do need to stock up on supplies."

"Great, and I'll hit a few clothing stores." Terra said.

"Clothes? What for?" Davis questioned. "You be better off finding something real useful."

"Typical of a boy." Terra said. "Just because we're traveling doesn't mean we can't look fabulous. It might even get the attention of pokemon that want to come with us."

"Says the girl who hasn't even caught a pokemon yet." Davis teased, but that got to Terra.

"Hey! Lots of people only have one pokemon!" Terra argued.

"Calm down. There's no need to fight." Cletus said.

"Sorry, Terra. I was just teasing. I guess you just haven't found one that's the right fit for your first caught." Davis said, but Terra would love to catch her own pokemon.

"Well, what was yours, Davis?" Terra asked.

"That's easy. It was my Taillow back in Hoenn." Davis said as he remembered it so well. "When we battled, Taillow was a fierce battler and wouldn't give up."

"thats rather common with Taillow, but that sounds like you." Cletus said.

"And as a result, Taillow became a Swellow and one of my most reliable pokemon." Davis claimed.

"Sounds like your first catch was quite compatible with you." Cletus said.

"Compatible..." Terra mumbled as she wondered what pokemon would be compatible with her.

"Hold on. Look at that." Cletus said as he noticed something. They saw Officer Jenny was at work running an investigation.

"Let's check it out." Davis said as they all hurried to see.

"Was anything stolen?" Officer Jenny questioned.

"A few items, but they weren't exactly valuable." The store owner claimed.

"Sounds like there was a robbery." Imperialdramon said.

"Who would someone do something like that?" Terra said.

"The part that is scaring me and my customers is that everything is floating around on its own. I just simply can't understand what is doing that." The store owners claimed.

"Did he say floating?" Cletus questioned as that just sounded weird.

"I think he means like that!" Terra said as she spotted something. They all noticed accessories were floating around again. A lot of people were freaked from seeing that.

"That's not possible!" Cletus said.

"It sure looks possible now!" Terra claimed. The accessories were floating around and were in a position that looked like they were being worn.

"I don't know what that is, but I know it has to go."Imperialdramon said as he was ready to attack.

"Wait! Your strength will blow a whole right in the ceiling! I've got this." Terra said as she took action. "Pocub, use Powder Snow!"

"Pocub!" Once Pocub emerged, it unleashed its attack and tried hitting whatever it could. It soon managed to hit whatever was in the store and it flew right out.

"Sdreavous!"

"Look there!" Davis said as they spotted the pokemon responsible for it.

"That's a Misdreavous!" Cletus said.

"Misdreavous?" Terra questioned as she pulled out her pokedex.

"Misdreavous, the Screech Pokemon. A ghost-type. It tends to scare people to use their fear as energy."

"But why would a Misdreavous torment a store?" Davis questioned.

"Was it trying to feed on fear like the pokedex said?" Terra said. "Either way, that wasn't very nice."

"Misdreavous!" Misdreavous didn't like being lectured as it used its ghost power and sent Terra flying until Imperialdramon caught her.

"Thanks." Terra said.

"That explains why everything was floating. It looks like Misdreavous was using Hex." Cletus said.

"Pocub!" Pocub didn't like Misdreavous attacked Terra like that, but Misdreavous just ignored Pocub and took off. Pocub didn't like being ignored either and decided to chase after Misdreavous.

"Pocub, come back! I'm fine!" Terra called as she and the others chased after Pocub to get it back. All of them followed after Pocub and Misdreavous to the forest, but they lost sight of them and soon came across a fork i the road.

"Oh man. Which way did Pocub go?" Davis questioned.

"Let's split up. I'll take the one on the right." Terra said and took off.

"Let's take the other path. Pocub couldn't have gotten too far." Cletus said.

"Right. Maybe it..." Davis didn't finish that sentence as he felt his goggles lifted off his head and Cletus felt his tie taken off him. "Now what?!" They looked and saw Misdreavous came back and was taking their things.

"Misdreavous, you can't take those!" Cletus said.

"Give me back my goggles right now!" Davis demanded.

"I'll get them!" Imperialdramon said as he tried to get their things back.

"Misdreavous!" Misdreavous fought back as it used Psybeam and blasted him. It took the chance to take off and took their things.

"Hey! Get back here!" Davis called as he chased after Misdreavous.

"Davis! Wait!" Cletus called as he and Imperialdramon chased after Davis now.

Terra

"Pocub! Where are you?!" Terra called as she kept looking around. She searched until she heard something move in the bushes and saw Pocub come out. "There you are! I thought you knew better than to just run off!"

"Pocub!" Pocub was acting like it wanted to show Terra something. Terra followed Pocub and she soon found Misdreavous at a pond.

"Misdreavous? What's it doing?" Terra questioned. She saw Misdreavous use the pond like a mirror and saw what it was using Davis' goggles and Cletus' tie. "Hey, those belong to Davis and Cletus." Misdreavous looked at its reflection, but didn't seem to like what it saw and just discarded the items. "Weird."

"Pocub." Pocub spotted something else. Terra saw a pile of accessories that Misdreavous kept trying out.

"I guess that Misdreavous loves to accessorize. Is that why it did that stuff back at the store?" Terra wondered. Watching Misdreavous trying out a bunch of combos really got to Terra. It was like speaking to her. "I guess it's trying to find what right for it. It actually reminds me of me."

"Pocub?"

"When I was younger, I tried a bunch of my mom's things like jewelry and cosmetics." Terra claimed as she remembered back to those times. "I just had fun doing it, but it was tough finding something that worked for me." Seeing Misdreavous like that reminded Terra of those times. When Terra stepped out to talk to Misdreavous about it, she stepped on a twig and alerted Misdreavous about it. When Misdreavous saw her, it got spooked and took off. "Misdreavous, wait! I just wanted to talk!" She called, but that pokemon kept flying away. Seeing that pokemon really got to Terra, and she liked it.

...

Misdreavous

Misdreavous just floated around the forest and kept doing what it's been doing.

"Stop, Misdreavous!" Davis called as he and Cletus were able to find it. "Give me back my goggles right now!"

"You shouldn't take things that aren't yours." Cletus said.

"I'll get that thing!" Imperialdramon called as he flew right at Misdreavous to get it, but Misdreavous just simply flew around it. It tried to make an escape, but they cut it off.

"You're not going anywhere until you give back our stuff!" Davis said as Misdreavous was now surrounded.

"Guys! Wait!" Terra called as she hurried over.

"Nice timing, Terra." Davis said.

"Stand aside! I want to catch that Misdreavous!" Terra said with them all surprised she would say that. "Here's your stuff." She said as she gave back Davis' goggles and Cletus' tie.

"Thanks, but what's this about catching Misdreavous?" Davis questioned as they put their things back on.

"I saw why Misdreavous took them." Terra said. "I think Misdreavous enjoys accessorizing. I saw that it had a bunch of stuff with it and loved trying them all out. Don't get me wrong. Misdreavous shouldn't have stolen all that stuff to begin with. Still, I get it." She claimed as she walked over to Misdreavous. "You like trying out new things. It is rather fun until you find something that's right for you. I'm the same way. That's why I became a trainer. I think you and I could have a lot of fun together."

"Misdreavous?"

"I use to try a bunch of my mom's stuff when I was younger. It was a lot of fun." Terra said. "If you come with us, we'll have a great time together."

"I get it. I think Misdreavous really is right for Terra." Cletus said.

"Go for it, Terra!" Davis encouraged. It did sound like a great thing for both of them, but Misdreavous needed to be sure. That's why it backed away and looked ready for a fight. "It looks like Misdreavous wants to battle first."

"I guess it's testing you." Cletus said.

"Fine with me." Terra said. "Pocub, I need you."

"Pocub!" Pocub stepped forward and took the battle.

"Pocub, let's start with Scratch!" Terra said. Pocub attacked, but the attack jus passed right through Misdreavous. "Why didn't that work?"

"Misdreavous is a ghost-type! Normal-type attacks won't work!" Cletus called. It got worst as Misdreavous blasted Pocub with Psybeam.

"We got other attacks that can work! Water Gun!" Terra called. Pocub fired a blast of water and it smashed against Misdreavous. "Good! Now use Powder Snow!" Pocub jumped at Misdreavous and shot snow right at it. Misdreavous shook it off and was getting an electrical attack ready.

"Terra, watch out! I think Misdreavous is going to use Charge Beam!" Cletus warned.

"Dodge it!" Terra called. Misdreavous unleashed the attack in an electrical beam, but Pocub was able to avoid it. "Now use Water Gun!" Pocub blasted Misdreavous and knocked it down. "Now use Waterfall!" Pocub attacked as it got close to Misdreavous. When it was close enough, Pocub caused a geyser of water to shoot straight up with Pocub tackling against Misdreavous and did some damage.

"Now's your chance!" Davis called.

"Misdreavous, I know we're right for each other. So let's make it official!" Terra declared as she threw a pokeball right at it. The ball hit against Misdreavous and it went in. All of them waited to see if the ball would stop moving. Terra hoped it would work so she would have her first pokemon. Then, it stopped and Misdreavous was caught. Did it... It worked!" She cheered with her getting her new pokemon. "I really did it! I caught Misdreavous!"

"That's great! A Misdreavous is a great first catch, especially one that is like you.!" Cletus said.

"You caught your first pokemon!" Davis said.

"I know! This is incredible!" Terra said as she loved the feeling. "Come on out." She said as she released Misdreavous. "Misdreavous, I love having fabulous pokemon, and you certainly are one. I know we're going to be great together." She said as she hugged Misdreavous and Misdreavous was certainly warming up to its new trainer.

Terra managed to catch her first pokemon, one that is quite compatible with her. With a new addition to this growing family, Terra and Misdreavous are going to have great times ahead as the journey continues.
