The Guardians sat in the assembly chamber, grave looks on there faces. The Butterfly Miraculous was still missing, yet rumbles of a new holder had been heard.

"Members of the Temple, there is reason to believe that a new villain has taken hold of the Butterfly Miraculous by the name of Scorpius. We are unsure of the powers he possesses but it calls for concern."

"We have a school of Guardians in training, send them to the mission!" a voice called. Murmurs of agreement followed, it would easy and the heroes were already here. An older Guardian by the name of Crumb stood up. "Call Ladybug and Cat Noir, they are experienced beyond measure, and have looked over Paris since Hawkmoth's disappearance. Though our students are good, they would be no match for this unknown foe."

Cries of agreement and clapping filled the air, but other Guardian waved her arms for silence. "I am all for calling Ladybug and Cat Noir, but wouldn't our students be angry if we didn't give them a chance? I propose Ladybug and Cat come train at the school alongside our students, and at a certain time we will select two students to assist Ladybug and Cat on their mission." This passed with flying colors and three Guardians were selected to go to Paris to locate Ladybug and Cat Noir.

"Adrien, my locker isn't your personal mailbox!" I laugh as I open my locker and at least five little notes scrawled with hearts and fluff flutter to the floor. "Isn't it better to stick them in here, so I don't get in trouble in class?" he asks innocently. I hold up my hands. "Okay, you got me there. But given the chance, I'm sure you'd do it in class too." "At least we have a few classes this semester," Adrien says a bit mournfully.

Adrien and I attend the prestigious Paris College of Art and Design. I'm studying to be a designer, while Adrien is still meandering what career he wants. I still have to pinch myself at times that we both got in. Sure, Adrien has connections with his Agreste name, but I had to work my tail off and work long hard hours in the bakery. Plus, you take a special test to get in and not everyone passes. "Come on, don't pout," I give him a hug. "We spend almost every free moment we have together anyway.' Adrien rests his cheek on top of my head. "Its different then the old days, isn't it, Bugaboo?"

My throat grows tight at my old nickname. Back when we were teenagers, Adrien and I protected Paris from Hawkmoth using the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous and we went by the names "Ladybug" and "Cat Noir". At the time, we had to keep our identity secret for safety and other reasons, but once we defeated Hawkmoth, that all changed. At least, I hope he was defeated. Our last battle was in a blinding snowstorm in Tibet and Hawkmoth plus the Butterfly Miraculous was never recovered. To this day it nags me.

"Maybe not quite like the old days, but we still have duties to fulfill." Homework here is hard, and the nights are short. Plus, I run a small sewing business to help pay for rent as I still live at home. Luckily, I have the best parents in the world, and the fare is cheap.

"Right," Adrien shoulders his backpack. "One more class and we're done for the day. Shall I meet you at the entrance after class?" I nod. "Until then, farewell, My Lady," Adrien kisses the back of my hand and I laugh. "Your such drama king, Kitty." He winks with sparkling green eyes making my heart stutter and disappears into the crowd.

I close my eyes, leaning against my locker, catching my breath. One of the warning bells rings, signaling class is starting soon, and I start towards classroom 107-A, and freeze.

Is someone watching me? The hallways are crowded, but everyone is rushing to and from class. I slowly look right and left, seeing nothing but the weird feeling stays with me.

Once I reach class, the feeling disappears and I sigh as I sit down in my seat. Normally, I would love a video day, and today's is about colors, but my mind is wandering. And I feel restless, shifting in my seat.

Adrien's question has sparked a new question within myself. Do I miss being Ladybug? Is she even needed here in Paris or anywhere in the world? Shouldn't I be content with the new life I've created for myself?

Class ends, and I'm disappointed as I wasn't paying proper attention like I should be. Luckily, there's a link to the video, and I vow to watch it straight after dinner.

I make my way towards the entrance, following the crowd and pause, finding Adrien leaning against one of the pillars, playing on his phone.

I may be called "Lady Luck" but I never thought I'd be as lucky to have Adrien Agreste as a boyfriend and the best partner in the world.

"Ready to go?" he asks. "I'm ready for a snack," he breaks into my thoughts by kissing my cheek. "Hm?" "Princess, what's going on?" he gently catches hold of one of my curls, twirling it around his finger. "I'm not sure," I mutter. "Could you maybe come over later instead? I think I need some fresh air." "Okay." I hate disappointing him, but I'd rather be present then distant.

With a kiss, I head out into the fresh air, heading for the woodland park I like visiting when I need to be alone.

The woods are cool, and I feel better already. I look right and left, making sure I'm alone then whisper, "Spots On."

My Ladybug suit is like a comforting blanket and whirling my yo-yo, I zip into one of the trees. Its cherry blossom season, and a shower of petals flutters to the ground. Hidden among the pink blossoms, I curl my knees up to my chin and think.

I don't know how long I sit there, listening to the sweet sounds of the birds, but this is calming, soothing. What my restless spirit needs.

Just then, I hear quiet footsteps, and vaulting lightly, I land on a lower branch. Three people with red colored robes huddle in a circle, talking quietly. Opening my compact, I zoom in to hear. If there up to no good, maybe I can catch them in the act.

"That was them, alright. Crumb told me that Adrien, er, Cat Noir, was quite the flirt with Ladybug, er, Marinette." "And did you see how Adrien called her Princess? Adorable!" the second squeals.

So, I was being watched! And why we're they eavesdropping and how do they know who we are?! "Marinette seemed sad," the first speaks again. "Should we talk to her first, without Cat?"

I'm about to jump down and give them a piece of mind, when I slip and start crashing through the trees. I close my eyes anticipating hitting the ground, but it doesn't come.

"Open your eyes, love," I do as I'm told, finding Cat Noir's eyes staring into mine. But there not the only ones. Cat keeps cradled in his arms as he turns to the strangers.

"What are you doing here, and if you tried to hurt My Lady…" Cat growls.

"We would never dream of hurting either one of you, and I'm sorry for spying you earlier. We're Guardians from the temple in Tibet and need your help."
