Chapter 1-Welcome To Rural Spain
Unknown…
"Raph, just listen to me!"
"Shut up! Yer nothin' but a screw-up who never does anythin' right! Why da shell are ya still on da team!?"
"I'm telling you, I didn't do anything wrong!"
"Stop tryin' ta make it look like yer innocent, Mikey, cos yer not!"
"I-I'm not tryin to-"
"I SAID SHUT UP! NO MATTER WHAT YA SAY TA US, MIKEY, WE WILL NEVER BELIEVE YOU! YA MESSED EVERYTHIN' UP, LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO! SO, JUST GO AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK, COS WE DON'T WANT SCREW-UPS IN OUR FAMILY!"
The last thing Raph saw was Mikey running into the darkness before he suddenly saw large red eyes opening and peering at him.
"RAPHIE, HELP!"
He heard his little brother scream for help before something large and dark pounced towards him.
"Waaaaaaah!"
"NOOOOO!"

The real world…
"Raph?" A familiar voice called out to him softly.
"Huh? Wha…" Raph snorted as he woke with a start.
"Are you alright?" Leo asked in concern.
"Y-Yeah…Why?" Raph answered tiredly whilst rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
"Cos you look like you were having a bad dream…" Donnie told him worriedly.
"M'fine, Brainiac…" Raph dismissed.
"…Was it about Mikey?" Leo asked carefully.
"…No, it wasn't…" Raph answered with a lie.
Leo and Donnie wanted to question Raph further since they had sensed that he was lying, but they didn't and left. They knew that Raph was feeling guilty about his treatment towards Mikey after their last mission together had gone wrong, but trying to push him into telling them how he was feeling about it all would only make Raph go into a heated rage.
Raph was the type of turtle who never liked to tell others how he really felt about things, because he always thought that doing so would make him weak, so he would instead just keep it bottled up until they exploded under the pressure.
"Heh, looks like our amigo has finally woken up from his siesta…" One of the human policemen, who was in the front passenger seat, suddenly spoke.
"Shut it…" Raph snapped grumpily as he turned his head towards the window.
"Please, excuse our brother; he's not been feeling his best lately…" Leo apologised to the older police officer.
The policeman just shrugged and resumed his concentration on his driving.
Throughout their journey to Spain, none of the turtle brothers were feeling like themselves lately, Raph mostly. The sudden disappearance of their youngest brother Mikey was a huge shock to the whole Hamato family, and the trio's guilt from what happened had led them to searching for clues to his whereabouts, which directed them to a rural area in Spain. Before they left, they had to make sure that they were well-disguised using their human clothes to avoid having their real selves exposed.
"You're all far away from home, cowboys…Why did you choose to come to this horrible place?" The older policeman questioned after a moment of silence.
"We're looking for someone…Our youngest brother…" Leo answered.
"He disappeared out of nowhere, and now we've found clues indicating that he was taken here in Spain…" Donnie explained.
"Oh…a family member, eh?" The younger policeman questioned.
"Well, I suppose you two didn't come with us on this mission just to have a campfire and roast marshmallows…?" Leo guessed, making the police duo laugh.
"Or maybe you did…" Leo said flatly.
"You have a strange sense of humour, amigos…" The older policeman teased before he got a bit serious and spoke again.
"I'm gonna let you in on a little secret, just between us; a lot of people have gone missing around here, and it's been that way for a while now…"
"Well, then…it should be just another day in da office, right?" Raph joked.
"I mean, last week there was a search for some missing hikers…" The same policeman added in a more serious tone.
"I'm sure you'll do your best to help us…" Leo assured.
The officers chuckled again before they continued on with the drive towards their destination.

Sometime later…
The team soon arrived at their destination, which was surrounded by trees and fencing.
"I think this is it…" The younger policeman said before he parked the car.
"Nature calls, eh? I'll be right back…" The older policeman suddenly said before getting out of the car.
"It's freezing out here…" He then complained in Spanish.
"Did you drink the entire bar?" The younger officer questioned jokingly in Spanish, making the other officer outside laugh.
"Do these cops take things seriously around here, or not?" Raph hissed in annoyance.
"Take no notice of them, Raph…Our main priority is to find out where Mikey is and bring him back home…" Leo told him quietly.
During their talk, Donnie was observing what was outside through the window when he suddenly started to feel a bit nervous; it was still dark outside, but he was able to see a funny-looking cross that might indicate something sinister about the area.
"Hey, is anyone there?" The turtle brothers heard the policeman outside call out to something in the distant darkness in Spanish.
Then, they watched as he slowly walked further away from the car and disappeared into the darkness without looking back.

30 minutes later…
Things were quiet in the police car, with the turtle brothers close to dozing off in the back and the younger policeman smoking in the driver's seat, but there was still no sign of the older policeman.
"He sure is taking his time. Did he fall in?" The younger policeman wondered aloud, breaking the silence and causing the turtle brothers to be more awake.
"Maybe you three should go out there and take a look?" He then questioned as he looked at the turtle brothers through the middle mirror.
Leo, Raph, and Donnie looked at each other and started to feel concerned. It had been a while now since the passenger policeman left the car, and he had never made a single call or sound to say if he was still nearby. With their minds made up, the turtle brothers opened the car doors and stepped out of the police vehicle whilst looking around the area.
"I'll stay and watch the car. Don't wanna get any parking tickets…" The younger policeman told them with a cheeky smile.
"Seriously?" Raph questioned in annoyance.
"So much for helping us…Let's go, bros…" Leo said before he and his brothers started their walk through the dark woods.
As they walked, the turtles had no idea how dark and creepy the woods were; many of the trees around them barely had any leaves on them, the sound of crows cawing were heard in the atmosphere, and the temperature was nearly close to freezing which would have been bad for the turtles if they hadn't geared themselves up with warm coats.
"Where da shell could he have gone?" Raph questioned in confusion.
"He must've gone pretty far in…I don't see him anywhere…" Donnie theorised.
As Leo looked around more, he saw something in the distance. When he got closer to it, he froze with a gasp and his eyes widened in horror; laying on the ground on his left side was the impaled and deceased body of a male deer, and there were lit candles placed in front of it, indicating signs that a sacrificial ritual had taken place there.
"Urgh…" Leo groaned in disgust as he covered his nose and mouth since the sight and smell of the dead animal was making him feel sick. A moment later, Raph and Donnie appeared next to him and became horrified at the sight as well when they saw it.
"Guys, I've got a bad feeling about this…" Donnie said anxiously.
"Same here, Don, but we need to keep going and find that police officer…" Leo replied before he carried on walking, with Raph and Donnie following him closely from behind.

Here is the first chapter of my new TMNT 2003/Resident Evil Fanfic!
It's a crossover story, but only the Ninja Turtles are the main heroes as this involves the rescue of their little brother, Mikey, instead of including Leon and Ashley.
I've been planning on writing this for a while now, and it's still a working progress since I have to study the plot in the RE4 Remake game bit-by-bit.
All the credits in the game's making go to the main producers and designers, I do not own Resident Evil.
I hope you like it, and more chapters will be added soon :)
