The speed with which he saw things change around left Kisame literally dumbfounded to the point that he almost had the impression of having landed on another planet.
On Christmas Eve his family was radiant as he hadn't seen them for years, images so distant that he often ended up wondering if those eyes full of joy and those sincere smiles had really existed, if they had been the result of a dream or simply a desire of hers so intense as to seem real. When they had exchanged the gifts at midnight on Christmas Eve, Kisame had wondered what could contain those very thin envelopes, slightly thicker than a sheet of paper, that the father, with a face full of pride, had handed him. Kisame had felt his jaw almost drop to the floor as his father explained that it was an annual membership to the gym and one to wind surfing school.
"So you will have to make less sacrifices for your studies in exercise science."
Kisame could hardly believe his ears, he had to overcome a kind of paralysis to move wanting to embrace his father. For a lifetime he hadn't felt the magic of the holidays invade those walls.
I was the cause, the essential thing is to have understood it in time.
He had tried to call Madara a couple of times during the evening always getting the same deactivated dial tone, however the feeling of peace and tranquility he was going through during that evening prevented the birth of any negative feeling that would inevitably have made its way into other occasions.
The family had celebrated practically all night, it almost seemed that no one wanted to let that joy rediscovered with so much effort slip through their fingers, as if it could disappear exactly at the moment of closing your eyes to surrender to sleep.
It also continued the next day with the same intensity, that of Christmas. Kisame had noticed how the parents exchanged amused and radiant glances every time his cell phone rang. They were messages from Sarana, of course, and, perhaps for the first time, he thought he was happy to receive them. The blue drop earrings that his mother had put on immediately and with great joy, shone almost as bright as her eyes. Kisame did nothing but blame himself for having turned off that light for so many years. Instead, Madara's phone was always disconnected.
Tomorrow I'm going to visit him at Obito's house. I don't want to resume the relationship I would just like to know how he is and be informed if something serious happened, in the end he will always be someone with whom I have shared four and a half years of my life.
Kiba's New Year's party was now organized, Sarana had even offered Kisame to go in the car with him.
Sarana will surely know that I already know him, I will try not to bring the conversation about Obito and Madara in her presence.
The fact that in any case the girl had made him this proposal showed how she already considered him an important person in her life. Kisame felt this as a liberation, she relieved him of the bond with Madara by transforming his last remaining thoughts towards the dark-haired into simple concern for his health. For this reason, the next day he didn't create the slightest difficulty for him to walk towards Obito's house, determined to understand once and for all what was happening.
The elegant building was still as he had left it that evening.
You told me I love you that day.
Kisame had raised his gaze towards the large windows on the first floor, Obito's apartment. That was where they had last made love, on that white sofa in that room with large windows. The railing of the small balcony was shrouded in small blue and white bulbs.
Without hesitating Kisame pressed the bell button. Getting no response, he sighed as he kept his blue eyes fixed on the windows. He rang a second time, after all he wasn't doing anything wrong, at most the conversation would have ended with an exchange of good wishes. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a slight movement of the white curtain, so someone was home. Kisame looked up in that direction discovering that that person had hidden behind the curtain again. He waited confidently imagining he heading towards the door to let him in. However, he soon realized that the time needed to do this had long since passed. By now it was clear that whoever was hiding back there had no intention of letting him in. Kisame sighed realizing that it was useless to insist any longer.
What happened to you, Madara? Were you back there?
In any case he should have come to terms with it, evidently the last words he had dedicated to him hadn't been sincere.
I no longer have time to suffer and make those I love feel bad, I have a new life ahead of me now.
He walked home thinking about what he could bring to Kiba's house for the New Year's party and determined not to let himself be influenced by events and people for whose attitudes he had no responsibility.
When the electric blue Peugeot 208 stopped abruptly and screeching under his building, Kisame had already been on the road for about twenty minutes, clutching two large bottles of sparkling wine in his big hands and trying to balance the strawberry cake at the same time. she had specially prepared her mother for the occasion. She almost jumped for joy when he confessed that he had planned a party with all of his friends for New Year's and that she was going to go out to buy something to eat that he could bring.
"Not at all, I will prepare something delicious. You will see that your friends will be so satisfied that they will remember you for the rest of their lives" the woman exclaimed, squeezing and kissing him on the head.
The car came to a screeching halt, halting its rapid course and sending a thumping disco bass sound through the shut windows. Kisame's mother had looked out the window hearing that sudden din, he reassured her with a smile and greeted her with her hand realizing her frowning expression. She smiled at him, the happiness of seeing her son finally leading a normal life surpassed everything, she disappeared back into the house this time with a smile on her face.
"Wow, Kisame, but look how we have to find each other. You didn't tell me you knew Sarana" Kiba had come out of the Peugeot all perky and smiling.
Kisame noticed that he was wearing a fur coat, however it wasn't the one he himself had chosen and that should have been given by Madara.
I don't have to get anxious, he could have preferred this one for a thousand reasons. I hope that whatever speech I try to address does not immediately take a negative turn. We'll talk later, not in Sarana's presence.
"How are you?" the brown-haired asked hugging him.
He had turned down the volume on the stereo a little but the fact that the door was now open made the noise twice as loud as before.
"I'm fine, you don't know what a pleasure the invitation to this party gave me."
"The pleasure is mine, above all to see you again. Damn how many things you brought, thank you! Give me, I'll do it" Kiba's dark eyes had widened seeing all the packages that his friend was holding, he took them to place them in the trunk.
Kisame took a seat in the back seat, from the passenger seat Sarana had turned towards him giving him a dazzling smile, a little hand wrapped in a pastel-colored striped glove, rested on a slightly reddened cheek.
"We will have a lot of fun, Kisame. Thanks for coming."
He answered her by pursing his full lips and nodding slightly as he wondered why Naruto, who was Kiba's best friend, wasn't there right now. He decided, however, that this would be one of the topics to discuss not in Sarana's presence. The brown-haired man got back into the driver's seat and set off screeching so much that Kisame was brutally tossed on the seat since he hadn't yet had time to fasten his seat belt. Kiba and Sarana were talking almost shouting over the loud stereo. Obito, Naruto and Madara were never mentioned and Kisame had been wondering why for a while. Kiba had been with them for a lifetime, he went out with them daily, yet for him they seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth. The girl kept talking about one of her friends, very good at singing, who would liven up the evening by doing karaoke. A certain Tayuya who had already been studying flute at the Conservatory for a year. Kisame kept asking questions that should have gone unanswered for now.
Does Sarana know Naruto, Obito and Madara too?
The road leading to Kiba's country house was narrow and winding, the chestnut taking the curves at such speed that Kisame, despite the din of the stereo, could hear objects moving from side to side inside of the trunk, he hoped that the bottles of bubbly remained intact.
"It's a house so isolated that it can't even be reached by the electricity network" Kiba explained looking at Kisame through the rear view mirror while continuing to counter the pounding bass with his voice "Naruto and I were already there this morning to turn on the generator set and do some ' of housekeeping."
Here a first question had had an involuntary answer. Naruto would have been there, Kisame felt very relieved without clearly understanding why.
The house was effectively isolated, even its image and the way it was inserted into the surrounding landscape made an impression. Small, very modern, from the outside Kisame could see the dark red of the walls and the large windows without curtains. Abandoned in the middle of a barren field of dry grass, probably fresh from some summer harvest of who knows what and not yet worked. She had no garden, she just hung in that flat, desolate expanse. It wasn't surrounded by any type of fence and there wasn't a gate, Kisame had immediately guessed that that boundless field should have served as a parking lot for the evening.
Kiba stopped abruptly in front of the cottage, the din of the stereo was replaced by that of the generator going full throttle. The road, which had been paved for who knows what miraculous reason, continued to reach other houses a little further on, in any case far enough away not to be disturbed by anything that had happened during the evening. Kisame felt excited, he realized that he had never been invited to a real party. This, then, was definitely interesting and fun.
All thanks to you, Sarana.
His lips automatically moved into a smile looking at her delicate and gentle face.
"Good morning, Kiba, I knew I shouldn't have let you go get a girl, who knows what you've done!" Naruto had appeared in the doorway with his dazzling smile, it seemed to light up everything, the house, the desolate field, and Kisame was sure he would do the same for the entire evening.
He greeted him hugging him, the blond was sincerely happy to see him and that he was among the guests of that New Year's Eve.
Not yet, it's not the time to talk.
Kiba ended up unloading from the car almost exclusively bottles of all kinds, wines, liqueurs and sparkling wines of all kinds.
"What do you say, Kiba, will we also be able to eat something besides drinking?" Naruto watched as he helped Kiba carry everything inside.
Although it was the middle of winter, the blond was wearing a blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up to three quarters to highlight the skin of the arms of that delicate pink hue. The others could never help but laugh whenever Naruto said something, his mirth was so contagious that he would stick even on the walls. Kisame really had the impression that even that lonely house was happy to be so lively that evening.
It was very pretty even inside that little house, living room and kitchen were in the same room, it couldn't have been otherwise given the small size that was already noticeable from the outside. While the small kitchen table, also very modern, was soon invaded by bottles and food of all kinds, the wooden and larger one on the side of the living room was already set for dinner.
A small fireplace, but one that gave off an infernal heat, was located immediately behind the door on the right, closer to the kitchen side rather than the living room, but that choice had simply been dictated by the forced organization of the confined space.
Now Kisame understood perfectly why Naruto was practically dressed in spring style, he himself had hastened to take off his jacket to stay with a dark purple sweater that would have been too much anyway for that heat.
Damn, if they had warned me sooner I would have come in a T-shirt.
A white sofa for four people served as a divider between the two rooms with the function of kitchen and living room, Naruto sat on it with his legs crossed starting the relaxation method that Madara liked so much. Sarana, sitting next to him, accepted immediately when blond reached out his hand towards her.
Then they know each other.
Kisame took a seat to Naruto's left, if he was going to try to find out something he had to make sure that the conversation began and continued as spontaneously as possible.
"Something to drink?" Sarana asked extending her hand towards Kisame.
"Yes, I gladly thank you" Naruto said smiling, then turning to Kisame: "she has the magic hand with cocktails, the best bartender I've met in my life."
"Now don't overdo it" Sarana squirmed on the sofa in what looked like a touch of embarrassment, but her face was lit up with joy: "What do you prefer?"
Kisame was literally dumbfounded seeing her accept both his request for a Cosmopolitan and Naruto's for a Miami Vice. She amazed him more and more that girl, he observed her slightly curvy butt under her burgundy velvet tube skirt convincing himself that he could like her. That, after all, he was lucky and that she couldn't have asked for anything better.
Meanwhile Kiba had also joined them with a glass of red wine in his hands.
Kisame was determined to test the waters, he decided to start very delicately: "You don't know how thrilled I am to have met you again, however I don't want to stop at this evening and lose touch a second time. Are the invitations you gave me to visit all your favorite places still valid?"
Kiba and Naruto looked at each other for a moment, then it was the blond who continued: "Seeing you again would be an immense pleasure, you know, unfortunately I won't hide from you that we're a little worried about Obito, it's been before Christmas that we haven't been able to contact him."
"The same happened to me, both he and Madara are totally untraceable, I also rang at home but no one answered."
"Maybe they left to take a last-minute vacation," Kiba speculated.
No, there was someone in the house hiding behind the curtain. However Kiba and Naruto don't know anything about that evening, so much the better.
This was confirmed by the carefree smiles of both.
"Here you are, guys!" Sarana's return with drinks for all forced them inevitably to conclude that speech on which in any case there was nothing else to say.
"You are an angel!" Naruto said widening his smile.
The girl only looked at him for a moment and then turned her sparkling eyes towards Kisame who thanked her kindly. She sat next to him making their bodies join on purpose, Kisame could feel the heat of her skin which, combined with that of the fireplace, was starting to make him sweat. The embarrassment and the terrible doubts about how he should behave with that girl with all the girls made him want to feel the effect of alcohol soon, if only it would allow his stiff muscles to loosen a little.
Naruto had started talking again, almost always facing Kisame, about the clubs and the goings out that he and Kiba went to, in particular he had resumed the discussion, already mentioned previously, of this night club called Susanoo where they thought they had so much fun. It seemed that not even a day had passed since that evening in Obito's house, during which they had met for the first time.
Naruto's turquoise eyes sparkled with excitement as he said, "Kisame, there are some new dancers at Susanoo lately. A very sexy dark and a redhead with a disproportionate amount of piercings that I could never have imagined. Unfortunately, if you want to have a slightest chance with them you have to win that kind of auction invented by their tight-lipped manager. He always thinks of a new one by shooting bigger and bigger numbers. However I'm not going to give up, Kisame, sooner or later I'll make it. "
Kisame had to admit that Naruto's stories had always intrigued him a lot and encouraged him to seriously have some outings with him and Kiba, however now it was necessary for him to hold back her enthusiasm since Sarana was sticking to him. He decided to pass it on to the blond using his frozen eyes, Naruto gave him a mocking smile, a sign that he understood. The girl was actually getting a bit bored with those speeches made exclusively by and for men. The door suddenly opened with a sharp thud stifled her umpteenth yawn.
"Damn it, Kiba, I've gone wrong twice to find this place."
A girl with long red hair had appeared from that door that she had almost risked demolishing with her vehemence. From under the black quilted jacket peeked out a long white dress studded with sequins, definitely in stark contrast to the casual quilted jacket, the white canvas Converse and the elastic band that held between the hair to hold back a straggling lock on dark brown eyes. Though she was thin and her hair beautiful and very feminine, there was something crass about both her voice and mannerisms.
At least the color of her headband and shoes match her dress.
Kisame twisted his mouth a bit as Sarana jumped up from the sofa to run towards the newcomer.
"Tayuya!" she literally jumped on her neck.
"Calm down honey, even if I understand that you were bored with all these big boys" the redhead chewed the gum ungracefully "I also brought the reinforcements, I just don't know where Hinata is."
A very pretty and elegant brunette, very much at odds with the first girl, appeared in her doorway behind her.
"I see that tonight we have some new faces" Tayuya came forward confidently in the middle of the room until she stopped in front of the sofa.
Kisame, feeling directly called into question, stood up to introduce himself.
"Wow, well done Kiba." she exclaimed the redhead nodding in approval as she ran her eyes up and down the physique of the boy in front of her.
Kisame, uneasy, hurried to sit down just to get out of that situation. Luckily Tayuya had gone out again to retrieve her karaoke equipment dragging the landlord after her.
The pretty brunette who had arrived with the singer was the only one who actually seemed to have nothing to do with that group of rowdy people, her movements always appeared slow and calculated, she was evidently very shy. So was she as she grabbed a chair to sit facing Naruto.
She damn her if she eats him with her eyes. I feel sorry knowing already that she will be disappointed, she seems so kind.
In fact, the blond only paid attention to her during the introductions.
"Naruto, what a beautiful name. What do you do?"
"After graduation I will take a degree in political science, my dream is to become mayor of this city."
Hinata's pale blue eyes became even bigger than they were hers as she clasped her small hands close to her chest in admiration:
"You will surely succeed, Naruto, you are a very smart and nice boy, in my opinion you are a born leader."
In truth, the blond couldn't wait to go back to laughing and joking with Kisame, however out of respect for Sarana, they avoided going back to Susanoo's speech again.
Kisame felt his heart stop the moment Kabuto entered the door, he would have expected everyone but him. The nerd more or less boasted to everyone that he had arrived by taxi, Kisame was pleased that the various people who were now present in the living room constituted a sufficient distraction not to be forced to have direct and exclusive contact with Kabuto. Every time he looked at him he couldn't help but feel that lump of disgust in his throat thinking about the monsters he was capable of giving life to.
Meanwhile, Tayuya had just finished mounting her console on the wall opposite that of that fireplace that seemed to be erupting lava, to the left of the entrance.
"Hey, Kiba, are you sure that wheelbarrow out there holds?" asked the singer referring to the generator set.
"Don't worry, it's set to maximum, we have ten kilowatts in the house."
Tayuya gave her thumbs up in approval before heading over to the drinking table, Sarana joining her preparing more cocktails for everyone. The air became thick with smoke and filled with laughter, they had turned on the TV without volume just to know in real time how far it was until midnight.
A horn blared Shave and a Haircut, Two Bits in the street.
"Here is that crazy Deidara, he can be recognized from afar." exclaimed Kiba downing yet another glass of wine "it will undoubtedly enliven the evening."
A blonde with thick, long hair came through the door. Kisame immediately realized how important it was for him not to go unnoticed. Certainly mother nature had put her own into it, that golden hair was certainly twice as abundant as a normal person, so much so that he had allowed him to tie part of it into a fountain tail and leave a tuft to cover his left eye and almost half of the face, while leaving a large amount of hair flowing free and flowing over the shoulders and over the middle of the back.
We haven't seen pigtails like that in years, yet I've always liked them. The expression was really very particular, the blue eyes, heavily underlined with black pencil, seemed to have dilated pupils. He wore a very elegant dark green coat with black leather inserts on the wrists and elbows, very tight leather trousers of the same color. In his hand he had a box of the kind usually used to send postal parcels.
"Good evening everyone. I have a gift for you, Kiba, actually I'd say it's for everyone" the blond grinned sarcastically making Kisame understand that perhaps that box wasn't as harmless as it seemed.
Deidara approached smiling placing the box on the table in the living room where they would soon gather for dinner. The landlord had started happy to see what it contained followed by the others who were very curious, especially Kabuto and Hinata. The smile faded on Kiba's face as soon as, lifting a flap of the box, he found himself in front of a very short section of a metal tube closed by large bolts at the ends from which several colored threads departed and joined what seemed a timer. A battery, perhaps previously belonging to a cell phone, was in turn connected by other cables coming out of timers which then went back into the metal.
"But this is a bomb!" Kiba exclaimed with a shocked face.
His scream made several squeals of astonishment and fright rise from the room, Kisame swallowed, Sarana had brought her hands to her face to cover her open mouth. Only Naruto remained calm and slouched on the couch. Kisame thought he saw Hinata's eyes widen with admiration even more than she had towards Naruto.
"My creations are all handmade, unique pieces, I have others in the car in honor of this wonderful evening" Deidara's eyes sparkled with what seemed like pure madness.
"Are you saying your car is packed with explosives? Wow Deidara, you're crazier than I ever thought" Kiba couldn't regain control of his facial muscles.
"Come on Kiba, since you've invited a singer I suppose you appreciate art" the blond's smile became more and more mocking while the rosy skin reddened from the heat and excitement "I don't see why you have to miss his maxim expression, I'm sure you'll all end up liking it."
Kiba struggled to keep calm: "Okay Deidara have fun, but since we are surrounded by a desolate land he tries at least to keep you at a distance."
"Did you take me for a fool? It goes without saying that the artist knows his works perfectly."
Kiba sighed in resignation as he glanced at an amused Naruto and a bewildered Kisame. The smug blond took off his coat, throwing it on a chair with a theatrical gesture, showing off a black turtleneck sweater matching the leather boots.
Now that all the guests had arrived, they finally decided to sit down at the big wooden table in the living room for dinner, Tayuya would start singing right after. Sarana immediately sat down next to Kisame, by now her closeness had been tacitly booked for that evening, however he managed to find himself facing Naruto, even though he didn't quite know how to explain the exact reason but he felt enlightened by his presence. He had to make an enormous effort not to laugh as he watched Kabuto's desperate attempts to get Hinata's attention while she kept her eyes fixed on Deidara as if they were glued together. Sarana had also wanted Tayuya next to her.
"I enjoy your presence a little now before the scene is in your hands."
The contrast both in character and in appearance between the two girls was increasingly evident in Kisame's eyes. As gentle and refined as Sarana was, Tayuya was impetuous, boisterous, and even a little foul-mouthed at times.
She's a good girl, I'd be a fool to let her get away.
In the end Kiba's fear, according to which there would be nothing to eat but only to drink, did not materialize but, on the contrary, everyone was amazed by Hinata's zucchini and cheese quiche and Kisame's strawberry cake who received a flood of compliments.
"Well, I'd better start preparing my show," Deidara stated as she got up from the table with his cheeks flushed from the various cocktails that were livening up the party to put on her dark green coat.
"So you won't be here with us toasting at midnight?" disappointment made its way onto Hinata's delicate face.
"Baby, an artist gives his own life for the show, he puts his soul into his work, and now I can't help but show you and live my soul myself."
"Deidara, see don't let your soul out of your body tonight. We don't guarantee you'll be able to recover all your crumbs scattered around the field" Naruto laughed out loud.
"Listen to me blondie, I don't have time for those who don't understand the meaning of my art" Deidara's blue eyes sent sparks while his strange pupils seemed to have dilated further "but you, Hinata, seem like a smart girl to me. Grab a bottle of sparkling wine and two glasses, you'll have the honor of toasting with me while we enjoy the show."
Her brunette blushed as she brought a hand to her face, but soon after she got up from her chair with her eyes twinkling to follow the flaky blond outside. A few seconds later they heard them go full throttle on that car which was a kind of tinderbox with wheels.
Kabuto lowered his face so that the reflection of his glasses hid his expression, Kisame was certain that he would hardly say a word again for the rest of the evening.
"I understand, the pieces to collect will be more than expected" commented Naruto sipping yet another cocktail before letting go of more laughter.
This time Kiba and Kisame were also carried away by his hilarity.
Tayuya, feeling that the evening had warmed up enough, decided to boot up her console. The redhead sang divinely and with her sparkling character she knew how to involve to such an extent that the shy and kind Sarana surprised everyone by grabbing a microphone starting to make a duet with her friend. Kisame was amazed for the umpteenth time discovering that that girl also had an angel's voice.
Naruto made everyone laugh again by chasing after Kabuto with microphone in hand to force him to sing. Kiba laughed so much watching that scene that he spilled his glass on his red shirt. While the girls enjoyed singing, the boys went wild dancing in the middle of the living room. Kisame felt dizzy a little from the alcohol a little from Naruto grabbing his hand to drag him into the fun. He couldn't understand why he was relieved that at that moment Sarana was busy singing with her friend leaving him lost in the turquoise of those eyes that she had in front of him.
Tayuya had never stopped keeping an eye on the silent TV screen, so as not to miss midnight. When he announced that there were five minutes to go, Sarana distributed goblets to everyone, taking the two bottles of sparkling wine that Kisame had brought. Everyone knew that Deidara and Hinata wouldn't be there at that moment, but by now they knew that extravagant blond so well that they let him do it without being surprised anymore.
Ten seconds, each boy was thinking inside himself about his dreams, hopes and resolutions for the year that was coming, Kisame had always considered this a magical moment, a bit as if life and all the mistakes made could receive a sort of reset to be able to start over the next day.
Six… Why do I always feel like I fail with everyone? I tried my best tonight yet people never like me, for the coming year I am committed to being more empathetic and understanding. Kabuto.
Five… This party was a nice idea, meeting new people is perhaps sometimes the only way that allows you to leave the negative ones behind. Kiba.
Four… I really want to make you happy and see you smile sincerely, you deserve it. However something jars, I don't know what. If it should be my presence that prevents you from being happy, I'm ready to step aside, but I can't give up without trying. Sarana.
Three… I have my whole life ahead of me and I have to make the most of it, give my best chances without ever backing down, for everyone. I would like to be mayor because I can't stand injustice, just as I can't stand seeing unhappy people who are letting their lives slip through their hands not realizing that one day it may be too late. It's my duty to do something, always! Naruto.
Two… Who am I? In which direction did I choose to go? Every time you make a decision you end up hurting someone, including yourself. Will I ever find peace? Sometimes I feel trapped like in a dream that has no truth to it. I still don't know who I am, but I don't think I'm worthless at all. Kisame.
One… Loneliness and pain are masked in so many ways. Sometimes I can appear fierce and tough, but that's only because I'm afraid of being hurt. When I can't reach people's hearts with words I do it with music, the only universal language that everyone understands because it speaks directly to the soul. I hope that the image of the real me still forms in the back of your eyes. Tayuya.
All these wishes and hopes were entrusted to that toast which they exchanged with a smile. The faces were invaded by magic, Kisame wondered how many actually would have done their best to keep it alive for the whole year. For his whole life. Kisame had realized in that moment that he had never thought about Madara during the evening.
What do you want for your future? I don't care what you do, I just want you to be happy.
A sudden crash made them jump by shaking the windows. Sarana hugged Kisame's arm.
"Holy shit!" exclaimed Naruto almost choking on the sparkling wine "that insane Deidara means business."
"I hope Hinata doesn't act so unconscious, unfortunately she tends to always get carried away too much" Tayuya appeared visibly worried for her friend.
"Well, Kiba, if one of these explosions happens to be compatible with the resonance frequency of the walls, the house will crumble in an instant."
Everyone turned bewildered in Kabuto's direction not understanding a damn thing of his speech.
A second explosion much more powerful than the previous one shook the ground, the generator set lost a few turns leaving them in the dark for several seconds.
"Um…why don't we go out and see what Deidara is up to? I'm not ruling out that he might be interesting to look at" Kiba tried to hide his concern but it was still loud and clear in his voice.
Everyone followed him outside without comment. Kabuto's remarks, incomprehensible as they were, still managed to get through to all of them. They plunged into the cool of the night, Kisame felt relieved for a moment, it was really too hot in the house, maybe it would have been the case to turn off that infernal fireplace.
A white glow caught their eyes in the middle of the field, it was hovering in the air. At the time no one could figure out what it was. As their eyes got used to the dark, the scene became more understandable. Deidara's car was parked not far from that flying object, although still a long way from the house. Someone, from time to time, moved around with a flashlight in his hand, the light in the trunk of the car turned on when he approached, probably Deidara was going back and forth to progressively recover his home-made devices. The flying object had wings, its shape vaguely resembled a large bird or a small plane, the distance made it impossible to tell. He made a quick turn releasing a myriad of smaller objects into the air, some of them exploded in the air, others touching the ground, the effect was a barrage of violent barrels whose earthquakes reached their feet. Orange and red sparks invaded the air, illuminating the night for a few seconds, the noise was infernal. Kisame instinctively turned towards the road along which that afternoon, as he arrived, he had seen other isolated houses.
Are we really sure that nobody will be disturbed by this party?
However he smiled, it was an evening to remember, making it remain etched in their minds almost a duty and Deidara had found a way to do it. The flying creature headed very fast towards them, despite being far away the blond must have seen them. It was a white bird that moved its wings making the movement of air feel to the ground. No one commented but Kisame was sure that everyone was wondering how Deidara had managed to build that devilry. Other objects detached from his wings straight up on their heads. Sarana screamed, Kisame swallowed as Naruto jumped. They burst into the air in quick succession.
Too late!
They were harmless blows, a shower of colorful sparks fell on their heads leaving them enraptured and amused. They were so many and bright that they seemed to erase the whole world.
"I have to give it to him, he can do it!" Kabuto admitted.
The bird returned quickly and silently whence it had come, stopped for a moment at the edge of the field, had never come so far, almost disappeared from their sight. They just had time to see him dive straight towards the earth. It was a self-destructive ending, a devastating impact, as soon as it touched the ground a white and shiny sphere rose, a small sun that illuminated the night turning it into day. The earth shook, they all found themselves sitting on the ground without even realizing it. However they laughed immersed in that blinding glow that seemed to have silver fireflies inside, full of new hopes. Kisame felt something warm and velvety settle on her mouth, Sarana's lips, he kissed her back, squeezing her to his chest.
It's the same color as my opal quartz that glow, yeah it's definitely going to be a different year.
Some splinters, side effects of the explosion, fell a short distance away like a crystalline and tinkling rain without hitting them, it was incredible how Deidara had calculated everything perfectly.
When Deidara re-entered the house he was greeted with applause. He had broken through, the scene had been his, his rosy face was illuminated by a huge smile. Hinata was beside her visibly proud, her cheeks reddened perhaps not only from the wine.
The party went on carefree, by now everyone had ended up losing their inhibitions, Tayuya herself had started playing very rhythmic music to stimulate her friends to dance. While everyone searched for Sarana's delicious cocktails and were served by her with a smile, Kisame went upstairs to the small house reached by a wooden staircase to go to the bathroom. He heard noises coming from what used to be the bedroom, he realized that in fact Deidara and Hinata had disappeared right after the fireworks show ended.
In any case, it's none of my business. I'm a guest tonight, many people just met me today.
Someone almost violently threw the door open while he was freeing himself, it was from behind so he didn't see who it was.
"Sorry, I didn't know he was busy" Tayuya's unmistakable voice, apparently they were all so taken up with the fun that they didn't notice that the music was playing automatically.
Kisame had hurried out so as not to be in the way, but the redhead, instead of going into the bathroom immediately afterwards, remained there in front of him with a cigarette between her fingers showing off an almost mocking smile. It was clear now that she didn't feel at all at ease with her in that evening dress. In truth she was a model who, moreover, also badly adapted to her body shapes. Too large on the small breasts and tiny waist, little volume on the hips, the slit that uncovered her left leg started far too low, just above the knee.
The mysterious noises that kept coming from the room next to her made her smile widen and her brown eyes light up with mischief. She approached the wooden door ajar to look inside without any qualms. She stifled a laugh as she motioned for an increasingly bewildered Kisame to join her.
Damn, this girl is really sassy.
He too approached putting his blue eyes to the slit, since he couldn't see anything apart from a weak reddish light and some clothes abandoned on the floor, Tayuya opened the door a little more grinning in silence. Kisame couldn't help but keep his eyes glued to the scene.
Deidara had literally forced Hinata into an acrobat's pose, almost vertical with her hands resting on the ground, he had grabbed her thighs squeezing them around her waist as she ruthlessly penetrated her tender white flesh. Her long hair brushed her tiles gracelessly as he swayed without a moan under the almost bestial blows. The blond was pressing hard on her florid buttocks, Kisame was making an effort to focus on that perfect hourglass shape that has always been considered ideal for a female body, but in reality he was attracted by Deidara's lean but tonic bottom. The sight of his pink, delicate skin and legs that looked like they were carved from marble made his penis swell instantly. It hadn't happened to him looking at Hinata's body, it hadn't happened after the kiss Sarana stole from him, but now, looking at that thick blonde hair. Deidara let out shapeless grunts taking it out on the girl, if he didn't put on a show at every opportunity he wasn't happy.
Kisame felt an elbow thrust into his side, Tayuya couldn't hold back a strangled laugh. This had interrupted his doubts about who to decide to hurt: himself or others.
Deidara had turned abruptly in their direction making them jump, his face had an almost diabolical expression, his blue eyes sent sparks of anger: "How dare you? I'll show you when I go downstairs!"
Kisame just had time to realize how the blond didn't have the slightest fear of his imposing physique, before he let Hinata crash to the ground to run totally naked to close the door in the two spies' faces. Tayuya took the wood directly to her body and it caused her to fall to the ground on top of Kisame. The redhead fell over to her laughing, only calming down when she clearly felt the boy's erection beneath her.
"Hey, we have someone who woke up down here."
Auburn hair covered Kisame's embarrassed face as she looked at him biting her bottom lip. Her hands began to caress his muscular body, Kisame swallowed feeling them creep under his sweater to end up in contact with his heated skin. He swallowed with his dry mouth feeling her rub and push against his pelvis, he stiffened not finding any way out of that situation, he kept his hands high above her head to avoid touching her even by mistake.
A barely perceptible strangled sob, Tayuya hadn't noticed but he did, he turned just in time towards the stairs to see a swirl of smooth brown hair descending fast but silently.
"Tayuya, I don't think that's the case."
"Why?" her brown eyes were bright with desire.
"I may not know myself well. Not enough, not yet."
He pushed her away gently but at the same time very decisively before taking the stairs without looking back. This time the warmth he felt on her cheeks didn't come from the fireplace.
