CHAPTER 2:

Later that day, Tori and Trina came home with their graduation caps and gowns, still in the shopping bag they came in.

"I can't believe we're finally graduating in a few weeks," Trina sighed. She threw the bag onto the couch and went to the fridge for a snack.

"Yeah me neither," Tori said as Trina poured her a glass of juice.

"I still haven't planned what I'm going to do in my audition for the ceremony," Trina muttered.

"Your what?" Tori asked as she almost spewed the juice out of her mouth. "Did you say an audition? For the graduation ceremony?"

"Of course, little sis," Trina said as a matter of fact.

"So, it's not like a normal high school graduation ceremony?" Tori asked her.

"Of course not." Trina laughed. "This is Hollywood Arts, girl. Gosh, I'm just glad I'm finally graduating after that one year I got held back…Wait, did none of your friends mention the audition?"

"No, no one at all," Tori said, furious.

Tori updated her status on the Slap which read: "There's an audition so I can get past graduation?! - MOOD = Shocked".

Just a few hours after Tori went up to her bedroom, she pulled out her pear phone and hopped into the friend group of the gang.

Tori: You guys never said there was an audition for the ceremony!

Andre: Wait, I thought Jade would have told you that.

Beck: Yeah, I remember her telling me that she had told you about it.
Tori: Well she obviously didn't.

Jade: Oops- it must have slipped my mind…

Tori: Well what are you guys gonna do for the audition? :/

Andre: I'm gonna write an original song and compose the music for it.
Jade: Haven't figured out what I'd do exactly. But planning on doing something with Beck, right?
Beck: Of course.

Cat: Heyy you guys!

Tori: 'sup Cat? Say, what are you gonna do for the auditions?

Cat: Maybe that show I did… "Babe-raham Lincoln" or just another new one woman show. Perhaps starting with anime.

Tori: Ughh, you have it all figured out, except me.

Andre: Don't worry, babe. You'll figure it out.

Cat: OMG.

Tori: What is it Cat?

Cat: Nothing, just searching up cat memes. Get it? Haha

Tori: *facepalms* Well, I'm going to bed. See you tomorrow in school.

Four days later in the school hallway, Cat caught up with Robbie and they started to talk.

"Are you sure you want to do this, Robbie?" Cat asked.

"Of course. I know Rex and I have been through a lot, but maybe it is time to move on," Robbie admitted.

"I totally agree," Cat said.

"Besides, I want us to be together, and holding on to Rex might interfere with that," Robbie added.

"How do you know for sure?" Rex asked.

"Not the time, Rex," Robbie said as Sinjin walked in.

"You wanted to see me, Robbie?" Sinjin asked in his small voice.

"Yes. I'm selling Rex…for real this time," Robbie said.

Sinjin's face radiated excitement."How much?" he asked quickly.

"Well…how much would you offer?" Robbie asked.

"Fifty bucks," Sinjin said, holding out a wad of cash.

"Deal!" Robbie said, accepting it as a fair trade.

"Come on, Rex. We'll have a good time together," Sinjin said, leaving and taking Rex with him.

"Farewell, Rex," Robbie said with a sigh.

Letting go of Rex was the hardest thing Robbie had ever had to do. Even harder than the last time he did so. But if he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Cat, he knew it had to be done.

Robbie updated his status on the Slap which read: "It was nice knowing you Rex - MOOD = Sad".
