Chapter 46 Forest No More (Lyoko Minus One)
A.N. – So, this chapter will focus a little on Xana's point of view after the Scyphozoa possesses Aelita. Even though A also has the powers to interact with the towers, she won't destroy any of the sectors. This will play out like the original. Let's begin!
Short Summary – After Xana tries to destroy Lyoko to stop the warriors from tracking him on the internet, Xana decides to stop them from getting to sector five entirely. Jeremy then makes it his mission to find the virtualization code for sector five before Lyoko disappears completely.

A was in the forest waiting for the day to end. She remembered that the class rep vote was going to happen today. She never admitted to Jeremy, but even if he didn't pull out, she would have still voted for Odd. Even though Odd's views agrees with most of the student body, being class rep doesn't give him as much power during the academic review. In order for anything he says to stand, the other teachers will have to agree with him.
A decided to go to see William. She saw the teacher who was watching him was asleep. He got his attention and he quietly steeped to the window. "Anything new?"
"Not at this moment. Xana is really concerned about us tracking him through the World Wide Web. He's actually attacking Lyoko now, well Lyoko's core."
"I think it's time I started going on missions with you guys."
"No, not yet. Xana is still powerful, and we can still save Lyoko. Not all hope is lost yet."
"Then what was the point of inducting me last year?"
"To bring you down a few levels Mr. Tough Guy. You don't understand what Xana can and will do to achieve a victory. And now with his freedom, he doesn't care who he hurts in the process. You mess with him now, you're just a target."
"And how do you know this?"
A was afraid of this. She couldn't reveal the alliance with Xana she had earlier before his escape. She also remembered he didn't hear her truth. She decide it was the safer bet. "You weren't with the rest of us when I told the others. The truth is, I'm really Aelita from a distant future."
"What are you doing in the past?"
"I tried to prevent an event that caused me trauma in my present time. But preventing it caused humanity's extinction. So I came back to make events happen like they did before to make humanity's extinction never happen. I'll suffer for others happiness."
"Well, thanks for the update."
"Don't worry William. Soon you will be a full time warrior along with us."
As A was walking into the forest, she bumped into Yumi. "Yumi? What are you doing?"
"Running for my life. Xana possessed my whole bus" Yumi responded.
"Now that is a nasty surprise." Suddenly they hear fast approaching footsteps. "Come on. We got to move." The two continued to run away from the students. "Did you inform Jeremy?"
"They know. I just hope they're on Lyoko already."
William's Point of View
William was in the classroom, drawing a picture, when he suddenly he heard Jeremy. "Attack confirmed. Xana has activated a tower" Jeremy says, on the superscan.
"Yumi, where are you?" Ulrich asks on the phone. "Be right there."
William jumps out of the window. "Going somewhere Stern?"
"Yeah, to help Yumi. You're not invited!"
"Ulrich, let him come with you" Aelita suggests.
"Yeah, he is technically one of us. Plus Yumi can use all the help she needs to take on her whole class" Odd adds.
"Fine, follow me" Ulrich says.
"Right behind you."
The two head off to where Yumi and A are. Odd, Aelita, and Jeremy head off to Lyoko.
The two were walking and seeing the footsteps in the ground. They were on the right trail.
A's Point of View
A suggested to lure Xana in a trap. Yumi wasn't thrilled by the idea of being bait, but A was trying to play for time to allow Ulrich to get there to help. Jim approached her and prepared his hands, sparking with lightning. He chuckles evilly.
"Hey Xana!" A says as she jumps down in front of him. She kicks him in the head. It sends him flying. The other students corner her.
"Uh no. A's best when she's outnumbered" Yumi says.
"You know I'm better when the odds are stacked against me?" A said and the students charged her. She was dodging, countering, and defeating the student. Soon after five minutes, all the students were on the ground. "Too easy." She was hit by lightning and flown into a tree. Jim smiled evilly as he approached the two girls. They just hoped Ulrich would get there soon.
William's Point of View
William and Ulrich all saw Jim and the now recovered students surround the two girls and torture them with lightning. "Whoa, since when did Jim start shooting lightning out of his hands?'
"Since Xana possessed him. He has the power to grant his victims special powers including superhuman strength and the lightning ability" Ulrich explains. "Okay, now get ready because this can go one of two ways." They didn't know what was going on Lyoko though.
Aelita's Point of View
Aelita was waiting for the tower path to clear when she suddenly heard familiar noises behind her. "Jeremy, I've got a big problem." Aelita backs away from the Scyphozoa.
"The Scyphozoa" Jeremy says.
"But why? Xana got what he needed when A offered me to him?"
"I don't know but better not stick around to find out."
The Scyphozoa launches it tentacles at her, and she dodges before running away, the monster following her.
A's Point of View
A was waiting for a relief from Ulrich and as Jim was getting ready to finish them off when Ulrich showed up. "How you doing zombies? Oh, I now I'm not welcome, but I love strolling in the woods."
"After him" Jim orders. They all take off and Jim goes soon after, knowing the two won't get up anytime soon.
William then appears to check up on them. "Are you two ladies okay?'
"Could be better" A responds. "Are you trying to earn your stripes as one of us?'
"You could say that."
Aelita's Point of View
Aelita reaches the edge of the platform, now at the Scyphozoa and Xana's mercy. "Aelita, you have a weapon remember? You're not powerless anymore" Jeremy reminds her. She prepares one but the Scyphozoa smacks her hand and stops the orb's creation. The Scyphozoa then picks her up. Aelita was paralyzed but it was different then last time. She felt different before it all went black for her.
Xana's Point of View
Xana opened Aelita's eyes, now in full control over her. Odd walks up to her and Xana knocks him away. He approaches Odd preparing Aelia's new energy orbs. He launches it at him but Odd dodges. Xana then gets on a tarantula and then transports him to somewhere.
A's Point of View
A, Yumi, and William observe Ulrich outnumbered by Yumi's class. "Fifteen against one huh? I've been through worse" Ulrich comments on his situation.
Yumi was communicating with Jeremy. "Jeremy, what's going on with the tower? Me and A are back but Ulrich is in danger this time." She pauses. "How slim?" She hangs up.
"That bad on Lyoko huh?" A asks.
"Was it that obvious?" Yumi responds. "Ready to fight?" William was holding a stick to use as a weapon. Both Yumi and A can fight hand to hand. The three prepare to strike as Jim starts torturing Ulrich. "Yoo hoo!" They all turn to her.
"Grab the girl!" Jim orders. Yumi moves out of William's way.
"Bonzai!" William comes down and avoids the electricity. He stabs the stick in the ground and spins around taking out multiple students in one strike.
"Forget her! Get him!"
William stares down his teacher Ms. Hertz and tries to hit her but she grabs the strike and tries to electrocute him, but the wood doesn't conduct electricity. "You taught us wood doesn't conduct electricity."
A sweeps her legs and kicks her. "It won't stop her from trying something else. Here's rule number one: never underestimate your enemy."
Xana's Point of View
Xana was approaching the forest sector way tower, with Odd close behind. Unfortunately, he was still too far away to stop Xana from entering the tower. He does the same process as Aelita. Only Xana had his own agenda.

Aelita's Point of View
Aelita returned to her normal self to find herself disoriented and falling from a tower. "Odd…what happened to me?" Aelita asks but Odd sees something unpleasant.
"Um, I'll tell you about later. Right now, let's run for it!" Aelita sees the sector disappearing and runs off with Odd. "The sector's disappearing! Rematerialize us!"
A's Point of View
All four of them remained surrounded by the faculty and students, outnumbered.
Jeremy's Point of View
Jeremy was working on rematerializing Aelita and Odd and notices the activated tower disappears. "The activated tower's gone. Xana's attack should end."
A's Point of View
Sure enough, Jim, Ms. Hertz, and the students all fall to ground unconscious after Xana's attack ends. Yumi had Jeremy on speaker phone. "Jeremy, did you get the tower deactivated?" Yumi asks.
"No, it deactivated by itself because to forest sector is in the process of disappearing" Jeremy responded.
"Come to think of it, we should disappear as well" A adds.
"Couldn't agree more" Ulrich responds as she, William, and Ulrich leave.
Jeremy was explaining the situation with everyone later in the day. "The forest is completely gone. Xana eliminated from the map."
"And no way to reprogram it" A adds.
"Tell me A, can we recreate the forest?" Jeremy asks.
"Even if we can, I can't tell you and you don't have the data necessary to recreate a full sector."
"Well then, until I can find a way to recreate sectors to slow Xana down, our only option will to be find a way to virtualize directly into sector five just in case Xana manages to destroy the other three sectors."
"We'll just have to fight extra hard to put a stop to Xana's new plan to protect Lyoko's heart and the surface sectors" Yumi says.
"Yeah, but for the meantime I got a lot of work ahead of me. And so do you Odd because you're going to be our class rep."
A was now concerned her Lyoko home was going to be no longer safe. She needed a plan and fast in case Xana was going to destroy the mountain sector. Even though she was no longer allied to Xana, she still had the full scope of his plans. And now, everything is on the line.
A.N. – So, these first two chapters were more of an introduction to this season's main points. So yes, A's home was placed in the mountain sector because this is the last sector to disappear, and it was easier to conceal. Number two, since this season is short my future plans are next chapter will be a combo chapter. Episode 57 will be single. 58 and 59 and 60 and 61 will be combo chapters. 62 will be it's own. 63 and 64 will be the last combo for this season. And 65, we all know why. PM me with story ideas!
