Chapter 47 Lyoko Destruction (Tidal Wave & False Lead)
A.N. – So, this chapter focuses around Lyoko being destroyed through multiple attempts, with the digital sea submersion, Lyoko core attack and destruction of the supercalculator. Let's begin!
Short Summary – When Xana launches another attack on Lyoko, he also launches an attack on the core. To buy time, he submerges Lyoko in the digital sea. Now the warriors must lower the sea and save Lyoko.
Short Summary – After Xana's latest scheme places Jeremy as primary suspect of a hacker attack, A uses her skills to save him, while Xana uses the agents to end the warriors.

Tidal Wave
The gang has returned from another routine mission from sector five. Jeremy was hoping that he would get enough data to fight Xana on the web or at least to virtualize into the arena. "Okay, now all I have to do is analyze the data you just retrieved" Jeremy informs them.
"Come to think of it A, did we ever find sector five's virtualization codes?" Aelita asks.
"You did, but I'm not gonna teel you when" A responds.
"Hey, any hope for continuing our fight against Xana is good enough for me. Gives me the motivation" Jeremy adds.
"Yeah, yeah, now can we go eat?" Odd asks.
"Even in the future, Odd has a never ending appetite" A comments.
"Still, we gotta be on time for gym class" Ulrich tells him.
"With no breakfast?" Odd asks.
"Too late" Ulrich comments as they head back to the academy, except for A.
A was walking around the campus and eventually runs into Yumi and William. "Listen Yumi, if you want some alone time with William, you can do it after class" A comments.
"Ha ha" Yumi fake laughs. "Listen, Xana is on the move."
"You need me?"
"No, me and Aelita will handle it just fine."
"What about the guys?"
"They should be at the cafeteria. Better check up on them. Make sure Xana ain't targeting them."
Yumi runs off and William stays with A. "Say, which movies would I like in the future?" William asks.
"Why would you ask something like that?" A responds.
"To save money."
"I thought you were optimistic?"
"Maybe, but it would be helpful."
As A and William approached the cafeteria, they saw Jim with a bunch of food, and it looks like Odd and Ulrich caught him red handed. But before he could get to scolding them, the food started to move and then created a huge monster. "Let me guess-" William starts.
"Yup, Xana" A finishes.
The monster raises its arm and prepares to bury the warriors under a mountain of food. It strikes and Jim uses the tray to defend himself while the warriors jump to avoid it. After the attack connects, Jim is unharmed. "You okay Jim? You're not hurt?" Odd asks.
"Hurt? No, I don't thin so" Jim responds as the monster respawns.
"Oh great, an indestructible monster" A says.
"We should help them" William adds.
"No, Xana doesn't know we're here yet. This gives us an advantage."
The monster follows Odd, Ulrich, and Jim into the park. William and A are following close behind. "Okay, no more Mr. Nice Guy!" Jim calls out. "It's time to teach this pile of junk a lesson! Stay here, this won't take more than two seconds."
"Jim, I wouldn't do that" A calls out and the monster turns around towards her. Jim runs into the monster from below and it collapses, but unfortunately the food collapses on top of Jim.
"He was right, it didn't take more than two seconds" Odd comments.
"Listen, this is Xana's doing. This monster is indestructible. You just have to hang on till Aelita can deactivate the tower." The monster rebuilds itself and shows Jim unconscious under it.
"Come on Odd, we'll distract it" Ulrich says as they run off and the monster follows.
A's phone rings. "Jeremy?"
"Listen A, Xana is attacking the core of Lyoko. Also, he is rising the level of the digital sea to stop us from reaching sector five. Aelita and Yumi are gonna try to find the code to lower it back."
"I'm heading to the core."
"You can do that?"
"Yeah, my Lyoko band has direct access to the arena." She hangs up and she activates her Lyoko door. William sees this as an opportunity and follows her through. They both end up in the arena. "You followed me through?"
"Why not? I am a warrior am I not?" William retorts back.
"Yeah, but you're making it really difficult for us to accept you." The wall opens and the two go head to the core zone. They make it into the core and A spots the key. "I see the key." Suddenly the roar of creepers is heard.
"What is that?" William asks.
"Creepers." A activates her wings and flies up to the key. She hits it with plenty of time to spare. The walls move and William get sectioned off. "Oh no, Jeremy we got big problems." A remembers a specific scene like this before.
"I see it. The Scyphozoa" Jeremy says.
"Jeremy, what is this thing?" William says as the Scyphozoa quickly grabs him and starts to possess him.
A presses her hands to the wall and starts to use her psychic ability to lower the wall, but it was too late, and William turns to face her with the eye of Xana in his eyes. He slowly approaches her, and she fires an orb, which he slices in half. He charges her and she avoids as William tries to defeat her. She eventually kicked William in the gut, and he stumbled a bit. He quickly turned around, clearly enraged. He tries an overhead attack, swinging his sword straight down. A avoids and tries to fire an orb. She connects but doesn't defeat him. William comes up form behind her and defeats her and she devirtualizes.
Aelita's Point of View
Aelita and Odd arrive in time to see A defeated. Odd fires a few arrows and Aelita fires an energy orb. William blocks Odd's arrows but is hit by Aelita's orb and is defeated. "Jeremy, we defeated William" Aelita informs him.
"Good now get to the core and lower the level of the digital sea." The two run off to the celestial dome.
A's Point of View
A leans against her scanner as William comes out. "That's why I didn't want you to come" A says.
"I know. I'm sorry. His power though was immense" William comments.
"I know, and so is his influence. Gotta be careful next time."
Aelita's Point of View
The two reach the celestial dome and Aelita logs in as Odd heads to the core. Aelita looks around and eventually finds the code. At the same time Odd saves the core from destruction. Odd comes and picks her up and they go back to the mountain sector. Two tarantulas have appeared. Odd and Aelita jump off and the Overbike they were riding destroyed both tarantulas. Aelita runs in and deactivates the towers.
A's Point of View
Odd resurfaces and they all come up to see Ulrich eating an apple as a way of taunting Odd. "I don't believe it. Well, we gotta do a return to the past cause there is no way Jim is gonna forget the monster he saw" Odd says.
"Here we go, return to the past now" Jeremy presses enter.
"I'M SO HUNGRY!" Odd yells as time is reversed.
A.N. I'm sorry that I didn't do the core fight. Just know it played out the same way as in the show, so there would be no point in rewriting it.
False Lead
Xana's Point of View
Xana was somewhere in the network. He wanted to continue to take over the world to prevent himself dying from A's future knowledge. He didn't know which event would cause this, but he was determined to prevent it by any means necessary. There was just one problem: the Lyoko Warriors. As long as they continued to hinder him, his plans would never happen. He decided that if he couldn't kill them, he would at least get rid of them. He used whatever power he had and accessed some top secret government files but made Jeremy's computer the source. Now all Xana had to do was wait.
A's Point of View
A was walking to the cafeteria but as she was walking through the forest, she saw some guys in black suits. They looked like secret service agents. "Men in black huh? Weird. They never came here looking for me. Does this have something to do with my father that I never knew about?" A trailed them and they went into the administration. She then saw them walk into the principal's office. "Wonder what they're here for?" A decided to get out of there before someone saw her and started asking questions.
When she arrived at the cafeteria, she saw Odd looking pretty mad and he took out on Sissi. Odd then walked past A. "Hey A" Odd said in a monotone voice.
"Something wrong?"
"Jean-Pierre is missing."
"The principal? That seems pretty serious."
"No, my tamagutchi."
"Really? You can always get another toy Odd. It's not like it irreplaceable."
"Maybe, but I won't be able to get another one for a while."
Everyone is gathered in the courtyard, except for Yumi, and Odd's expression has not changed. "So, when do recall seeing Jean-Pierre for the last time?" Jeremy asks Odd.
"For the hundredth time, he was right next to my bed!" Odd responds harshly.
"Okay then, Kiwi would have started to growl if someone came into the room."
"But Kiwi knows everyone here. Even though we can narrow it down, there's still what over a hundred students that are suspects" A points out.
"Right fair point. Let's rethink this."
"Hi, what's up guys?" Yumi says as she walks up.
"Jean-Pierre has disappeared" Aelita responds.
"And it's not the principal" A adds.
"Odd let's go and see if we can find any clues in your room" Jeremy suggests.
All of the group was in Odd's room searching for any clues to Odd's missing plastic toy. A noticed something under the desk. "Do you guys own a small camera?" A asks.
"I know I am artist, but what good is a teeny tiny camera gonna do me?" Odd asks.
"Nothing now." She crushes it. She didn't know who was watching them, but she didn't want them doing it anymore.
They all walk out in the hallway. "I'm getting more and more worried guys. This is serious" Odd says.
"Yeah, we know. If we don't find Jean-Pierre in the next 8 hours it will be the end of the world" Jeremy responds.
The group was now in the bathroom. A decided to ask Ulrich about this. "Why are you even doing this?"
"Listen, we need to talk. We-" Ulrich starts, but Jim comes in interrupting him.
"What are you doing in here?!" Jim demands. "Out on the double!"
They all exit one by one and Jim slaps Jeremy on the back. "Hey! Is anything the matter Jim?"
"Oh, those darn mosquitoes!"
A was behind Jeremy and saw the thing on his backpack. She grabbed it. "You guys go ahead. I have to do something." A ran out with the tracker in her hand. She ran to the academy gates and threw it into the street. "Something tells me those Men in Black aren't here for current me, but they are definitely targeting us for some reason." She takes out her laptop and her superscan shows all clear. "No Xana. Then what are they here for?" Suddenly her phone rings. "Hello?'
"A, Xana has just launched an attack" Jeremy tells her.
"But my superscan shows all clear."
"Why are you checking your own superscan?"
"Just something weird is going on."
"Either way, get to Lyoko. Activated tower is in the ice sector. We'll be there soon."
"Okay, meet the others on Lyoko." She then moved to a secluded area and entered Lyoko through her Lyoko door.
The others arrive on Lyoko. "So, what is this suspicious activity that you were investigating?' Ulrich asks.
"Just the mini camera and the tracker that was on Jeremy. Don't know if Xana is connected to it, but it was just weird" A responds.
They all take off on their vehicles and A takes to the sky and they arrived to see a non-activated tower. "That's crazy. The tower is not activated" Aelita says.
A lands next to them. "I told Jeremy. Xana has nothing to do with the suspicious activity."
"Guess I'll rematerialize you. Try to figure out what's going on" Jeremy says.
A few minutes pass by and Odd does tricks around the tower. "Did Jeremy forget about us?" A asks.
"Jeremy, what are you waiting for?" Aelita asks but gets no response.
Suddenly Odd's board devirtualizes and he falls. He pokes his head up and the Overboard reappears and Odd bumps his head on it. "Ow!"
"Something's very wrong" Yumi concludes.
"Then I'm going" A says.
"Really?"
"Yes. Something is going on and whether or not Xana is connected, I want to find out what's going on." A activates her Lyoko door and reappears in the scanner room to find Jim.
"Hey, who are you and what's with all this UFO stuff here?" He asks.
"First, I'm not telling you my name. And second, you let me go, or you'll regret it."
"Huh, good luck with that. I was once a secret service agent." A remembered that crazy story Jim told them during his commando camp. She let out a small chuckle. "Something funny?"
"Secret service or not, you can't defeat me."
"Well, prove it!" Jim gets into a fighting stance.
A sends a foot into his head, knocking him out. "My martial art hasn't been invented yet."
A climbs up to see one of the agents she saw earlier in the lab. She contacted Jeremy. "Jeremy, we got a big problem. One of those agents that I'm concerned about is in the lab."
"A, this is all Xana's doing! Bring everyone back home!" Jeremy screams before the phone is cut off.
She knows that Jeremy is being kept by the agent and fighting him won't be easy. She decided to use her secret weapon. She dials a number. "It's me. Time for you to repay your debts. You know how to make a clean getaway?"
Jeremy's Point of View
"Very interesting" the agent says. "Who is this Xana? The guy who recruited Jean-Pierre?"
"Please listen. Just trust me this one time and let me get back to the factory. I've gotta help my friends." His laptop beeps and the agent opens it and a tower has been activated, for real this time.
"What is this? A video game?" A specter enters the agent.
"Are you alright?" Delmas asks and sign of Xana flash on the glasses. Jeremy tries to make a run for it, but the agent gets in his way. Suddenly an explosion goes off and the room is covered in smoke from a smoke bomb.
"Come on! Let's get out of here!" A male voice says, and he leads Jeremy out of the room. When the smoke clears, he sees the face.
"You're-"
"Yes, Peter Duncan. Your friend A saved me from being incarcerated again for some black-out moment. She asked me to save you as a way of repaying my debt for what she did for me. I'm taking you to the factory."
A's Point of View
A sees Xana's specter enter the second agent and Jim comes back in the elevator and the agent goes over to him.
"Morales reporting. An unidentified female appeared in room down below and escaped. You wanna see for yourself" Jim says.
A runs up to the computer. "Hey guys, do you hear me?"
"A? Where's Jeremy?" Aelita asks.
"I gotta a friend helping me with that. I'll explain later. Looks like Xana is not behind the agents, but he seems to be using them now."
"Where's the activated tower?" Yumi asks.
"Give me a minute." She activates the superscan and the tower pops up. "25 degrees west and 72 degrees south, mountain sector." She activates a camera and sees the agent attacking the supercalculator. "Make it fast. Xana is trying to destroy the supercomputer."
"A, you gotta stall him long enough for us to deactivate the tower" Aelita tells her.
"I'm on it." She gets in an elevator and heads sown to the supercalculator room.
Jeremy's Point of View
Jeremy and Peter run into the forest, with the agent still in hot pursuit. "How do you get to this factory of yours?"
"Through the sewers. There's a passage in the park we use" Jeremy responds.
A's Point of View
A appears in the room. "So Xana, continuing your plan without your best ally?"
"A, our deal was only with the keys. Now that I am free, I no longer need you!" Xana said through the agent.
"Oh, I beg to differ. But since you seem hellbent on destroying the warriors, I guess I'm now your threat rather than your ally."
"You outlived your usefulness. Now I can have the pleasure of killing you!" The two engage in a fight. A, for the first time was struggling to hold back Xana's attack. "Face it A. Since my escape, my power has doubled."
"Twice the power, double the fall is what they always say" A said as she was thrown back in the elevator. Xana approached her and she closed the door.
"We're not done here A!"
"Well I am…" She panted in exhaustion. A arrives in time to see Jeremy arriving with Peter. "Nice to see you two."
"You'll have to explain somethings to me A" Jeremy says.
"All in due time."
The agent that was following Jeremy and Peter jumped down and suddenly the second agent jumps through the floor and lands on ceiling before jumping down to join his friend. The three back away and suddenly Jim comes up from behind them.
"Now who's the boss huh?" Jim says as he puts his arm around their necks. The agents quickly dispatch of him.
The three struggle to hold their own against the agents. They were all hoping that the others would deactivate the tower soon. Soon they find themselves surrounded but as they prepare for the finishing move, they stop and kneel from the experience.
All of them were in the lab as Jeremy looked at the damage. "Thanks for you help. You relieved of your debts" A said to Peter.
"Can I leave now?" He asks.
"Not yet."
"Return to the past now!" Jeremy says as time is reversed.
A was in the courtyard explaining why she saved Peter from prison. She also heard about the gang's plan to steal Odd's toy as well. "You kept him for something like this?" Yumi asks.
"Yeah. I know I can't do everything and him being an ex-con seemed like a useful ally" a explains.
"Yeah, public enemy number one helping out a group of kids trying to defeat an evil computer virus" Odd says.
"It's almost as bad as someone we know allying with Xana" Ulrich adds.
"Almost," A responds knowing how it feels to betray and help them both. "I got to release him now."
"What are you gonna do with him?" Jeremy asks.
"Don't worry about it. That's for him to figure out."
A met with Peter in the same warehouse where she took him the first time. "You may not believe me, but you already repaid your debts to me."
"So, I'm free to go?" Peter asked.
"Yes. Just try to stay away from life of crime route. No one does well as a criminal on the run."
Peter left and A retreated back to Lyoko.
A.N. – So this ends this chapter. I would have done these all in separate episodes, but Tidal Wave I believe didn't have enough content for a single chapter.
