Chapter 61 Two Way Battle (Lab Rat)
A.N. – Ok, before this starts, I want to say Bragging Rights may or may not happen. I'm kinda of indecisive. It's a big chapter for season 4 progression, but I feel it might be more of a carbon copy. So, keep that in mind for next week.
Short Summary – Jeremy has finally found a way to bring the warriors into the real world to destroy Xana's supercomputers and replicas. But things go from bad to worse when A shows up to stop the warriors first mission to the real world.

Aelita's Point of View
Aelita was in her room before classes started. She wanted to update her journal before going to classes.
It's been a crazy past few days concerning A and the digital network, as well as our virtual ship. It's almost been destroyed twice and Yumi almost fell victim to Xana. We found her and rescued her, but not before finding out A can now fight with us in the digital sea. Every mission is getting harder and harder. Jeremy has also been working nonstop to send us into the real world so we can defeat Xana and rescue A. Somehow, I feel, that if there is a chance of defeating Xana, it won't be through destroying every possible replica. There is something bigger out there, and A is the key to it.
Aelita then saved her work and went down to begin her day.
The lunch break began for the day and Jeremy told his friends that he had something to tell the others at lunch. When him and Aelita sat down, he began.
"Well, Xana's destruction inches closer" Jeremy begins.
"You mean you already found a way to destroy him?" Odd asks.
"No, but I have found a way to send you into the real world. If we can start destroying Xana's supercomputers, then we start weakening him and when we destroy all of them, Xana goes bye-bye."
"And then we move on rescuing A" William adds.
"Exactly. I don't know what to do yet as we have no idea where A is. She could be on one of the copies or spread out across the network."
"Like my dad…" Aelita says, with sadness in her voice. The others had no way to comfort her. It was a messed up situation where Aelita almost reconnected with him, bit A put an end to it and had him vanish.
"Well, the main thing is now we can start fighting back before Xana can get any stronger."
They steeped outside to meet with Yumi. "Hi guys, what's up?" She asks.
"Ready to blow up a supercomputer?" Aelita asks.
"You can get us to the real world from the network?"
"Yeah. We're all meeting at the factory tonight to try it out, okay?" Jeremy says.
"You got it" Yumi waves to the two.
"Bye" Aelita calls out.
Later that night, all of the group arrived at the factory to test Jeremy's new program. They all hoped that this one would be a success. "Are we sure this will be a success? You're past program never made out of the testing phase" Yumi says.
"I did a few test simulations. I'm 99% sure it will work" Jeremy responds.
"And the other 1%?" William asks.
"Absolutely nothing will happen. It will be problematic because I will have to find out what went wrong, but better then being trapped somewhere between Lyoko and real world as a specter." Jeremy looks up to Odd and Ulrich who have yet to arrive. "Hey you guys, hello! You don't mind keeping up with the rest of us, I hope," Jeremy calls out from the bottom. "Do I have to remind you that we have a really important mission?"
"Okay, okay, we're not factory workers!" Odd retorts back. The two slide down and descend into the scanners and laboratory.
Minutes later the group was in the skid, and it was launched into he digital sea. After a quick travel, they were in front of the replica. Last time they were here, A showed up trying to wreck the mission. It was no doubt, she was going to try to do it again. Aelita moves to the south pole of the dome and Jeremy opens the door. The skid enters the replica, and it ascends to the top level.
"Guys, big problem. There is an activated tower on the replica" Jeremy informs them.
"That means that Xana is doing something connected to the supercomputer we are looking for" Aelita adds.
"Time to investigate" William says.
"That's right. Aelita, Odd, William, I'm sending you to the supercomputer. Yumi and Ulrich, stay and defend. I'm sure Xana will be welcoming you soon."
A's Point of View
A was in the crater in the volcano replica, waiting with her eyes closed. Xana appeared behind her. "They arrived, haven't they?"
"Already on Earth. Go make an example out of them and remind them who is in charge of these replicas" Xana informs her.
She stands up. "With pleasure."
Aelita's Point of View
Aelita opened her eyes as the three appeared in a jungle.
"COOL EINSTEIN! IT WORKS!" Odd yells.
"That's nice, but no reason to blow my eardrums out. Where did you end up?"
"In a jungle" William starts.
"And it's day here" Aelita finishes.
"You're in a different time zone." Jeremy goes quiet for a while. "You're in the Amazon jungle in Brazil."
"The biggest jungle in the world. How are we supposed to find Xana's supercomputer here? Is it in the jungle?" William asks.
"Yeah, behind a tree" Odd adds.
"Good guesses you two" Aelita says as she finds a laboratory in the distance.
A's Point of View
A was in a center with three tarantulas standing at three separate entrances. She was on top of the middle one. "Hit em fast and hard, understood?" They all growled in response. "Then, let's go!" The tarantulas advanced towards them. A spotted them down the path ahead. "Faster!" Ulrich then took off towards her. "Time to take one for the team." A activates her wings and flies up as Ulrich destroys the tarantula she was riding. A notices Ulrich sliding instead of falling into the digital sea. "Pity you didn't fall. I could use some teammates."
Pretty strong words coming from up there. Why not come down here and confront me?" Ulrich challenges.
A lands and crosses her arms. She smirks, almost like she was taunting him.
Aelita's Point of View
The three enter the lab. "Seems quiet and empty now" William asks.
"Don't forget, Xana has something happening here. So keep your eyes open, and your mouths shut unless you have something important to say. We got to be as quiet as possible" Aelita reminds them. The three come to a fork in the corridors. "Right or left?"
"Through there" Odd says with confidence.
"How can you be sure?"
"Cuz my sense of direction is infallible."
"I can vouch for him. Cats do have a great sense of direction" William says.
They walk past a window to see a scientist working on something. They all duck to avoid him, knowing that he was somehow connected to Xana's plans. They all crawl past it.
A's Point of View
A slowly walks towards Ulrich as he speeds towards her. She stops and waits for him. A quickly takes flight and avoids Ulrich. Ulrich ditches his ride. "I though we were to fight on the ground!" He calls out.
"Hey, if you're going to be using your toys, I'm gonna use mine," A responds. Ulrich draws his sabers and A lands. "That's more like it." She draws her saber.
Aelita's Point of View
The three are walking down a corridor. They hide in a room to avoid an incoming scientist. They turn around and William got a creeped out feeling. "Spiders, giant ones too. Glad they're in there and not out here."
"Say Aelita, what do you make about these spiders?" Odd asks.
"I'd say he wants to transform these terrors, but I don't know into what" she responds.
"But spiders don't attack unless you sit on them."
"I know for a fact that is not true" William says.
A spider jumps on the glass and both Odd and William scream. "What's wrong with you two!?" She screams quietly.
"I hate spiders, what can I say?"
"Yeah, calm down princess. I'm pretty sure no one heard us" Odd adds.
The scientist from earlier appears at the doorway. "You were saying?" Aelita says. They were trying to fight back, except William.
"What do I do? I don't want to kill the dude" William says, only having a big sword.
"Then defend" Aelita suggests.
William then blocks the beam that the scientist is shooting from his hands. He eventually can't hold it and goes flying back into the spider's cage.
A's Point of View
A and Ulrich are dueling, clashing sabers, blocking, defending, and sparks flying. The two lock sabers and each one is pushing hard. A uses her free hand to create an orb. "Energy field!" Ulrich goes flying back from A's nasty trick. A runs up to the fallen Ulrich. She puts a foot on his chest to keep him pinned. "Any last words?"
"Yeah, you won't win!" Ulrich responds. A pierces him by stabbing Ulrich in the chest.
"Highly unlikely. This fight is going in my favor. Now for your girlfriend." A then went to go after Yumi as she was the last line of defense between her and the skid.
As A eyed her, she saw Yumi throws her fans towards her. Unexpectedly, A caught both of them and held onto them. "Uh oh. Jeremy, I'm defenseless!" Yumi cries.
"Defenseless and useless. Your time has come" A pointed her saber at her.
"Just try and hold on Yumi till the others have destroyed the supercomputer" Jeremy informs her.
"Any idea how long it will take?"
"No idea. Sorry."
Aelita's Point of View
William was just recovering as the scientist approaches him. Odd then fires an arrow from behind, temporarily stunning him. Aelita and Odd try to move him, but he wakes up and kicks Odd across the room.
"Hey you!" Aelita fires an energy orb at him, knocking him out temporarily. "That will teach you to mess with my friends."
The two finish moving him and Odd locks him in. The soon come to a crossroad, with no sign of a supercomputer.
"No supercomputer. Great job you two" Aelita says.
"Hey, what's that over there?" Odd points to a room that looks important. They look through a window and see the supercomputer.
"Jeremy, we found it."
"Great. Hurry and destroy it. Yumi is having a tough time dealing with A" Jeremy tells them.
Odd tries to open it but fails. "Oh no. How about a couple of guard dogs too?"
"Let me try." Aelita walks up to the console and used her psychic powers to open the door. "Easy." The three walk in and Odd tries to destroy it. His arrow was instantly destroyed by the shield barrier. "Jeremy, the supercomputer has a shield barrier."
"Hurry and find what's powering it. Yumi is about to fall to A and if she goes, so does your teleportation" Jeremy informs them.
A's Point of View
Yumi is at the tower. A puts to the saber to her neck. "So sad. So angry. Is it about Ulrich? He cares for you, but you push him away. Why?"
"I thought it was the right thing to do" Yumi responds.
"Heed my words. Show him you still want him. A time will come when both you must accept who you are and if he thinks you're not the one, you'll end up alone. Uh, and I'm sorry I missed your birthday." A slashed her and she entered the tower.
A floats to the top and accesses the interface. "Time to end this."

Aelita's Point of View
Aelita's vision was black, and when she regained it, she found out she was in the skid. She looked and saw A at the bottom of the tower. The locked glances at each other. "We'll save you A. One day…"
Aelita released the docking from the tower and headed back home.
"We tried and failed" Ulrich says.
"A was waiting for us. I saw that look in her eyes before we left. It said, 'I was waiting for you.' Not to mention those cybernetic spiders. I want to know what Xana plans to do with them?" Aelita wonders
"If he plans to overrun the world with spiders, he'll defeat William with fear" Odd jokes.
"I'll give you something to fear here in a second, me!" William threatens him.
"Knock it off. Aelita is right, we have to return and destroy the supercomputer. We have to find the others as well. It may give us more clues to Xana's grand plan" Jeremy says.
They all decide to retire for the night. As they were on the bridge, Aelita saw Ulrich giving Yumi a present, and Yumi kissing him on the cheek as a thank you.
"Wondering about yourself?" Jeremy asks.
"Yeah. Wished I asked A before she you know…" Aelita responds.
"I know. How about I make one for you?"
"Okay, when?"
"I'm not gonna tell you. It will be a surprise."
Aelita was finding it difficult to sleep. Her mind was flashing between the events of this mission and what could possibly come. Without A there to guide them, everything that was coming was a mystery.
A.N. – A little bit of a longer chapter with more custom scenes. I decide to have William be teleported first. I found it easier to do and just have A confront Ulrich and Yumi. Plus, I was having a tough time thinking of a way to add William to the fight. PM with story ideas! Review with questions or comments! I will respond! As always, till next time!
