What PJ's Characters Are Seeing and Hearing
The next chapter has references to fanfics, as well as small glimpses of ideas I had, but I don't think I will do
Many of the other viewers watched the projection in the same or similar situations as the disbelieving gods, while Rhea, along with Hestia, thought that apparently their troubled family needed someone who could keep them in control, or at least a part of their family. And apparently that someone was the son of Poseidon.
Even so, the two of them, like several others, were confused and curious about what Jackson was doing with the future version of Hestia.
But everyone's confusion only increased when the projection changed again to show the son of the sea who looked to be 18 or 19 years old kneeling in front of a beautiful white-haired woman
"Lady Artemis?... Shouldn't you be with your huntresses?"
"Please stop doing that! And sadly I can't be with my girls as long as I'm a Heroic Spirit. Although I find it curious that you know them, do you have any relationship with one of them?
Again many of the spectators had their mouths or eyes open in surprise, especially the hunters who couldn't help but look between the red-haired brown goddess who used to maintain an appearance of a girl between the ages of 12 and 13, and the white-haired woman in the projection.
"Artemis... Artemis" Zoe tried to get the attention of the moon goddess, who was staring at her future version in disbelief.
After all, the body the goddess wore in the screening was more like one Aphrodite would wear, as it surpassed in beauty most, or perhaps all, appearances Aphrodite has ever had.
Although Atlas' daughter, like others, was also trying to understand the change in the goddess's attitude, which was very different until the question she asked at the end, where she began to twist the legs of a plush doll that looked like a bear.
On the other hand, some, such as the Titans, Chiron, and a few others, were focused on certain words that the goddess said "Heroic spirit?" and had no idea what Artemis meant by that.
"Artemis... please... stop... You hurt me," complained the bear, who was wearing a little yellow robe.
"Did the bear speak?"
"Did it speak?"
"Did the teddy bear speak?"
They were the exclamations made by the surprise that the plush doll gave them, while only the gods, especially Hades and Hecate, realized that it was not a teddy bear
"Athena, stay away from that demigod!" the order given in was shouted by Zeus, who finally reacted, taking everyone by surprise, frightening many. And it took everyone a while to understand what the hell the king of Olympus was talking about
"...FATHER!" cried Athena, indignant that even Zeus believed that she would sleep with a son of Poseidon
"Was I clear?!" — Zeus' question was received by the discomfort of many, although some were holding back the urge to laugh at the shame, indignation and fury of the goddess of wisdom, in another situation Poseidon would be among these, but his mind was focused on other things, while others did not know what to think of this side of Zeus
Athena could only nod in utter shame and fury.
"I have no relation to them other than the fact that your lieutenant is my cousin, or that even the older ones don't try to kill me every time I greet them... did that teddy bear just talk?" hastening to make clear his relationship with man-hating maidens, Percy had the inevitable urge to know what was going on with the little animal.
"Oh! Are you talking about Orion? Of course you can talk, can't you, dear? "Now showing a strange loving smile, the deity replied, bringing the doll to her face.
Artemis, along with her huntresses, worried about Zoe, since, if a daughter of Zeus or Hades was her lieutenant, Zoe was most likely dead.
Although the concern would be greater if it weren't for the surprise of the future Artemis' joy at having Orion
"Orion?..." Many repeated the name, surprised and incredulous at Artemis's attitude towards him, who seemed to have been turned into a teddy bear.
"Hmm, did Orion say?... Like Orion, son of Poseidon? My brother?" wanting to be sure that he didn't hear or imagine things, the Jackson found out.
Only a happy nod on the part of the moon goddess was the answer given under the watchful eyes of the others.
"Poseidon!" Zeus raised his voice, "Keep your sons away!"
The god of the seas only stared at his younger brother in disbelief, as did many other onlookers.
"This isn't happening," the huntresses couldn't help but say, at the sight that, in the future, their mistress would fall in love with that son of Poseidon, that he would somehow come back to life... Like a teddy bear "It's not possible..."
"Sounds like a challenge" Chryasor told his brother and nephew
"If you want to die, go ahead," replied both Theseus and his son
"First, did anyone tell you that you're a borer?... And second, life without risk is not life..."
Both Theseus and his son couldn't help but look at the son of Poseidon and Medusa, as they found the seriousness he had when he said it somewhat strange.
But then the attention of them and the rest was caught by the screen when the Greek camp was shown and the campers made several offensive comments to a young cyclops, changing the attitude of the audience.
Because it wasn't to the liking of Poseidon, nor of the other sea deities, nor was it to the liking of Hephaestus, and they all ended up looking at the Greek half-breeds.
Several demigods swallowed hard as these deities turned to look at them
"Practically every gods has had a monster for a son," said Perseus, who seemed to have the appearance of before when he fought the blond god with a trident . "He's my brother, so what? Just because he has one eye and is big makes him automatically evil?!"
Greek and Roman campers couldn't believe that a demigod would defend a monster, while Poseidon and Hephaestus were pleased about it, as were other of the sea deities, but that didn't stop Poseidon from giving them a warning
"Is that how they treat my children?"
Some campers blanched, while others felt they would faint at the words and gaze of the king of the sea.
As for the mortals in the room, along with young Percy and the few rookies who were not with the duplicates Rhea and Hestia, they were trying to understand how it was possible that Jackson was the brother of a cyclops.
Then the image changed to show Perseus with the red-haired god with an imposing body with a large tattoo on his body, in a place that no one could recognize, plus they seemed to be on a beach, but with the additional senses of the gods, they knew it wasn't.
"Hard day?" asked the red-haired god
"Yes"
The god folded his arms before speaking. "Do you want to talk about it?"
"The campers don't like Tyson, they make fun of him, they reject him."
"Humanity often reacts with hostility to what it fears, fears what it does not understand, and does not understand what is different. Cruelty is often nothing more than a form of protection, taking refuge in those who understand, know or resemble each other and pushing away all those who do not. Where do you think racism came from?
The demigods moved uncomfortably at the way they were described. But some scoffed at the red-haired god's words
"We're not afraid of a monster!"
"Monster?" The voice in which the sea deities and Hephaestus spoke that one word terrified the demigods who spoke.
A few others, on the other hand, did not want to admit it, although even fewer felt ashamed.
"I'm depressed now, thank you."
The god sighed at Jackson's words
"Look, Percy, the demigods will never stop rejecting your brother until he gives them reasons to stop. Constant contempt and hatred for such a pure soul often gives rise to the worst and most fearsome monsters. You have to make sure that Tyson understands what's going on, that he deals with it in the best possible way, and that he earns the respect of others, before it's too late"
Some of the onlookers, like Chiron, could easily recognize the wisdom in the red-haired words. While many gods didn't know why, but remembered some of the monsters they created. As was the case with Athena with Medusa, but like all gods, she refuses to acknowledge that they were wrong.
While the young demigods, most did not fully understand the words spoken
"It sounds like you've seen it with your own eyes," Perseus said, causing the god's gaze to darken
"There are individuals who earn the love and respect of everyone around them, even after knowing hate. The best kings, the great emperors, can come from knowing pain firsthand. But if they only know hatred and there is nothing else, then they become creatures that emerge from the shadows only to satisfy their most primitive desires"
"You're... telling me that..."
"If your brother ever feels that emotions get the better of him, you must be the guide that leads him on the right path."
"I... understand..."
Both Rhea and Hestia sigh sadly as they acknowledge that very few individuals, whether gods, titans, or mortals, could understand what the red-haired god was talking about, while wishing there was a god like the one they were seeing.
Heracles for his part couldn't help but have a strange feeling towards the redhead they were seeing, he could feel that the redhead knew a lot about the evils of the world, divine or not, and still tried to do good.
"There is something wrong?" Hebe asked, breaking him out of his thoughts at the projection.
"Nothing... It's nothing," replied her husband
A few, on the other hand, remembered the words Perseus said when he seemed to be more than 30 years old, about leaders.
Then the image changed to show another individual of great height and imposing body, only this one had dark hair, as well as skin, as if he had spent too much time in the sun, and he emanated a sensation similar to Hercules, but it was not the same.
He was wearing a simple shirt with a gold jacket over it and he was approaching Poseidon's son, Artemis' lieutenant, Thalia Grace who looked a year older and wearing clothes her size, just like Bianca diAngelo and the satyr Grover. And none of them noticed.
"Grover!" Percy couldn't help but say his friend's name in surprise when he saw it on the screen
"How can you get a tattoo without even realizing it?!"
Everyone was watching the future Percy who looked at the rest of the group helplessly while Thalia squeezed his hand tightly as she looked at him accusingly, because on that hand there were three crimson marks on the back.
Sally in another situation would have scolded her son, but as before they were most likely not tattoos made by mortal humans.
The rest, on the other hand, wondered if they were like the ones Jackson had in the more distant future when he was training with the rabbit-eared woman and what kind of power they gave to the dark-haired teenager with sea-green eyes. Especially the gods who felt a strange form of magic.
"Look" Percy tried to calm the girl in front of him, "I understand why you're worried, but I swear I didn't feel anything! I didn't even realize I had it until Grover pointed it out... It must have happened some time after I left the camp. Otherwise, some of the other campers would have noticed and commented on it"
"Do you think the Espartoi marked him or something when they started hunting him?"
Sally tried to remember who the Espartoi were as her concern for her son grew, and she wasn't the only one, but the reasons for the others depended on who it was.
"No, they track completely by scent. They tag their prey, this way it would have no relation to their hunt... The pattern and symbology are unfamiliar to me, although I feel an undercurrent of magic within it" said Zoe
Thalia complained, "Great! It's midnight, we're being chased by undead hunters who never sleep, we have an unknown 'General' in the same city who is sending mercenaries after us, Percy has been marked by a stranger... Am I missing something?"
Although no one knew exactly, many had their suspicions, as was the case with Luke and the other demigods who thought of allying themselves with Kronos, thinking that they had started the war against the Olympians. The same could be said of some of the lesser gods.
The other gods on the other hand wondered what was going on, if the prophecy was happening, who was behind the huntresses, the satyr, the daughter of Zeus and the Jackson? And several more questions.
The Huntresses also wondered about the black-haired girl on screen in a Huntress uniform, while Hades frowned upon seeing that his daughter will be joining the Huntresses. While said daughter, along with her brother were still lost with what was going on, although young Nico in his innocence was more excited, unlike his sister who was filling with worry and fear.
"Excuse me, do you need help, kids?"
Future versions of Thalía, Zoé, Percy, Grover, and Bianca were surprised by the man, that emanating a power similar to what they felt in the various individuals where one in golden armor said that the gods could not force him to do anything. And the power of the "man" that they could feel on the screen made the gods nervous, although Hebe's husband unlike the rest was very curious because like the red-haired god he gave her a strange, but familiar feeling.
Seeing his apprehension, the giant raised his hands carefully, "Don't worry, I don't want to hurt you." He said, "I was driving and I saw them all. It's not safe for kids to run around this area so late, and I thought they could use a ride." He looked into the darkness with a suspicious look.
"Who in Hades is that?"was the question that everyone asked themselves before the man that made almost everyone present nervous, with the exception of Hebe's husband along with some others, they were more curious or excited, as was the case with Ares who could feel that he was seeing a true warrior the likes of which have not been seen in the last thousand years.
The sons of Poseidon and grandson of the same who belonged to another era, could not help but feel that they saw someone who was of their time, when the world was harsher.
But then the image changed to show the peculiar group at a gas station on the side of the road, where several hellhounds fled at the sight of them and everyone could see the confusion on the faces of almost every member of the group, then the image sped up as if it were a video to show them stretching their muscles a bit to do some training
"Hey, big guy!" said Thalia to the tall man, "How about some exercise?"
His eyes widened in surprise, an expression that quickly transformed into a smile of his own. "Oh? Are you so anxious about a defeat so early in the morning?"
She just laughed, "I hope you have a cushion in that vehiculo of yours." She sneered, "you'll need it after I kick your big ass."
"Daughter of Zeus, it had to be," Hades remarked, earning the gaze of her younger brother, as well as her nephews, whether they were gods or the two Graces
"Without a doubt, she doesn't stand a chance," Poseidon said in agreement, with the power they could feel emanating from that man, as well as the way he walked, he was undoubtedly in a totally different league from Thalia's.
Zeus, on the other hand, snarled and fulminated at his elder brothers, clenching his divine weapon tightly. But like the other gods, this man was something else.
"You're so small, are you sure you'll be able to reach it? Perhaps I should find a rock for you to stand on so you can follow through on that threat child."
For her part, Thalia was annoyed by the mockery made of her future self "I'm not a child" she growled mentally, while Annabeth proudly commented that her other self could handle that man, while Luke was not so sure when he remembered that in the visions they had about the son of Poseidon, he was much better than him in combat, especially when they saw him training with the rabbit-eared woman or defending himself against the blonde god with the trident as best he could, and in that last vision he was much younger than Castellan. It could be something similar to the man everyone sees now.
"If you're so confident, why not make things a little more exciting?" asked Thalia angrily.
The man raised an eyebrow, "What did you have in mind?" He asked as he took off his gold jacket and she had a better view of his muscles
"Damn"
"Shit"
"She's dead."
"She's fucked up."
"What flowers will she want on her grave?"
Those and more comments were given when they saw the arms that man had, not to mention how worried or fearful many became at the idea of fighting someone like him. Even Thalia herself, but as a daughter of Zeus, pushed aside that feeling thinking that her future self, being a daughter of the Big 3, could against him
Jason, on the other hand, kept seeing Zeus' daughter on screen, as ever since he saw her at the screening, he couldn't help but think he knew her.
"The winner tells the other who his godly father is" they all heard Thalía's idea, which intrigues them, since that man was not a god, but he did not seem to be a demigod either due to the strange feeling of power they felt from he.
"Alcides already told us he didn't want to talk about it, Thalia," Percy interrupted, frowning, but she just shrugged.
"Maybe, but what else do we have to bet on?"
"If you can beat me, I'm fine answering that... Although I don't really need to know who your parents are..."
"Oh? Don't you want to know who you're transporting around the country?!" She challenged.
He just sneered, "I know, you told me last night. I'm 'transporting' Thalía, Percy, Grover, Bianca and Miss Nightshade. What else do I need to know?"
The vast majority of the viewers found it very strange, they thought he was lying or something like that, especially Artemis, her huntresses, the few Amazons and demigods, he didn't seem like such an altruistic person to them, especially with his appearance
Hercules, like his wife, was more curious because this man had the same name as him. As did his wife, Theseus, and Hippolytus.
"Is he playing with them?" Chryasor wondered aloud, finding the very strange and abnormal demigod.
"Hmmm, what do I want...?" he mused before bursting into a smile, as if he'd had an epiphany
Thalia didn't know why, but she began to worry about her future self, as did several others
"We're all family, right?" Some relaxed as they noticed that the man's smile was more mischievous than evil. "If I win, you'll have to refer to me as your brother throughout this mission."
"..."
"..."
"JAJAJAJAJA" Some laughed after a moment of registering in their minds what Alcides had said, others that he must have some kind of complex or something like that.
A few, on the other hand, looked at Apollo remembering how he referred to Artemis, as well as his fascination with the culture of present-day Japan, what they heard seemed something they could expect from Leto's son.
On the other hand, the demigoddess, who was a tree until recently, was completely red with embarrassment, just like her version in the projection
"W-what?!" She yelled, "Why would that be what you want?!"
He chuckled at her obvious embarrassment. "I'm trying to inspire you to fight harder with the right incentive." He reasoned innocently, something that was ruined by the smile he showed, "We're family, so it's not such a big leap to brothers. And from your expression, I'd say it works pretty well as an incentive."
"That's..." She became a little enraged before her expression changed to something more neutral.
"If it really bothers you, we can leave it." He offered calmly. "But there's really nothing I want that you can grant me."
"It's a good incentive," Bentesicime commented, though what she said was heard by everyone
While others left out some ideas that were formed by Alcides by having a better context
"Fine" Thalia grunted before adding "Better two out of three, first-touch rules?"
"Very good." He acknowledged, shifting to his own stance.
Hades, like many other spectators, just shook his head at Thalia Grace's actions, overconfident in the fact that she was the daughter of Zeus, that it made her better. After all, the king of the underworld knew that a large number of demigods had come to his kingdom because they were too confident about being demigods or being children of a certain god, and several had been children of his younger brother, they were too arrogant, proud, foolish, stubborn, like their father is.
The fight if you can call it that, or rather training, was brief, where everyone saw the difference in skill and experience, where Alcides didn't even put in the effort or move.
In addition to being incredibly fast for his size and build, he came close several times to grabbing the spear of Zeus' daughter, it was clear to the most observant that if Alcides really wanted to grab the spear he would have done so. While several of these such as Chryasor, Chiron, Lupa who had quietly stood apart from everyone in her 'human' form, Hercules and a few others had little doubt that most of the half-breeds as well as several gods only saw a brute who was confident in his strength and speed, not realizing that he really was someone very experienced and skilled, that he just wasn't trying.
"I need to improve my training, but how?"— thought Chiron
"They must stop clinging to tradition," thought Lupa, looking for a moment at the Roman mestizos, before watching the projection again.
But they, like everyone else, could see Thalia's frustration grow, before she summoned a horrific shield
"Ahhhh!" several shouted when they did not expect to see Athena's shield
"A rejoinder?/ Really?" commented Hades and Poseidon at the same time, being among the few who were not frightened or looked away from the shield of the daughter of Zeus in the projection and without doubt that it was a copy of the shield of Athena.
Although what was said by the two kings went unnoticed by most because of the surprise they were to see Medusa's face engraved on a shield, which increased because Alcides did not even blink in front of the shield (when they could not see the shield due to the position of the image/camera), instead he caught Thalía's spear with one hand and with the other hand he hit Thalía making her retreat a few meters
"It's not possible."
"How?!"
"What the hell has he seen to not be scared?"
Several exclamations were made at how surprised Alcides left the spectators.
Thalía, hearing some of the exclamations, began to realize that Alcides was wrongly judged by his future version and herself.
"A worthy attempt," Alcides said with a smile. "I would recommend carrying a backup gun in case something like this happens again, but it's good nonetheless."
Then the image again sped up for about 5 seconds to show the second round
"Are you ready to try again?" He asked, "Or would you like to give in?"
"Don't think it's going to be that easy this time" Thalia growled as she rubbed her stomach.
Chiron sighed at the attitude of the daughter of Zeus, at the same time he wondered why only a few demigods were not arrogant and/or proud, why did most have to be too stubborn and impulsive?
Unbeknownst to him, Lupa, along with a few others like Hestia, Nike, Rhea, and a few others thought the same way.
"I never do," Alcides 'assured' her, making her growl once more.
"All right, round two in three... two... one... Get started!" said Grover for the second round
Almost everyone didn't know how they missed it, because they didn't even see Alcides move, at one moment he was a few meters away from Thalía and in the next instant he was giving her a bear hug, preventing her from moving, regardless of her kicks, while they could hear someone laughing.
Finally he let her go and she stepped away, while they looked at each other, on one side was a surprised daughter of Zeus and on the other side was a smiling Alcides.
"W-what the hell was that?!" Thalia demanded.
His smile widened, "It depends on your perspective. On the one hand, I was the one who pinned you down."
She narrowed her eyes at him, "And the other one?" she demanded.
He chuckled, "That was me giving my new sister a hug."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"..."
No one said anything as the screen darkened, incredulous at Alcides' speed, prompting viewers to wonder how ridiculously fast Alcides was, the blond god with the trident or the old man they saw him fight against, Percy Jackson when he whistled or when they saw his veins glow while training with Sun Wukong, and the Monkey King himself.
Then the image changed to show Perseus who appeared to be 22 or 23 years old next to a chestnut god at least 2 meters tall, battling strange creatures in New York City
"Hercules?" commented Hermes curiously as he recognized his half-brother's divinity, but it was more powerful, which caused Zeus' paranoia to skyrocket for a moment, as he looked at Hercules with suspicion
Although the Hercules on screen was wearing clothing that wasn't from the current century, he was also using a golden mace to fight.
But the confusion stopped there when the image suddenly changed to show Percy Jackson, about 17 or 18 years old, on the fields of Mars of the Roman legion, training Romans
"Keep it up, my Romans," encouraged the demigod.
The Romans among the viewers immediately noticed that the Romans on screen were not training in the Roman style, which annoyed almost everyone, since from their perspective the son of Neptune is disrespecting tradition
"Silence!" Lupa said as she approached the Romans before they made any complaints, since, in her opinion, it was quite an achievement for the son of the sea to pull the legion out of its stagnation
The Romans only stared at the goddess with surprise, recognizing her by her voice and the look she gave them to silence them
"Goddess Lupa"
"Lady Lupa"
On the other hand, Chiron, Hercules, Theseus, Athena, Nike, and others noted that the movements Jackson made the legionaries were those of the modern Greek style, much to their surprise.
Interestingly, Athena didn't know whether to be upset or smile at the Greek influence among the Romans.
Back at the projection, everyone could see that Perseus noticed a white-robed woman on the edge of the Field of Mars
"That's all for today," Perseus raised his voice to attract attention, "I'll see you on Tuesday at the same time. I will make you fight with me, to see how far yo've improved"
"What?!"Jason couldn't help but express, as did several other Romans, upon seeing and hearing that several of the legionaries groaned or complained about having to fight Neptune's son, as if they were afraid to do so or resigned themselves to a possible beating.
But few like Jason, noticed that the son of the sea in his tattoo only had a service stripe in the legion, that made no sense if he was a combat instructor, on the other hand, there was no way a combat style that was not traditional roman was accepted.
Everyone saw Perseus hastily gather his things and go to the woman at the edge of the fields of Mars, who went a little way away from the training ground and into the trees of the valley where New Rome is.
Several noticed that Perseus was attentive in case of a fight, although many more did not think so, when they saw that he put one of his hands in his trouser pocket, it seemed to them that he was very relaxed.
"Perseus Jackson," said a female voice behind Jackson's back
Zoe's breath caught as she recognized the sword that the pen that Perseus took out when he uncovered it became the moment he turned to look at the woman, she had thought that she had seen her before in some of the visions, but she was not totally sure...
"Anaklusmos" That was her sword and she couldn't help but say its name. The sword she had given to Heracles the day she was banished
Confusion, surprise, and fury were rising within her, and she didn't know which feeling to pay attention to first.
Poseidon also recognized the weapon, as it had come into his hands a few hundred years ago. "Now... I know what to give him," thought the king of Atlantis as he briefly looked at his young son next to his mother.
Heracles also recognized that sword, even though he only used it for a very short time, so he couldn't help but look towards Artemis' lieutenant.
The woman are tall, with long black hair which she adorns with a wing-shaped hairpin, her eyes are emerald green. Her outfit consists of a train dress with long sleeves and fingerless gloves, white in color with blue edges. And she was wearing boots that extend to her knees.
She raised her hands in a gesture of peace
"My name is Brynhildr," said the woman, "I am the eldest of the thirteen Valkyrie sisters, and I have come because I need your help"
"Valkyries?" asked many half-breeds aloud, most of them not recognizing the name, some thinking of a certain song, others trying to remember if it was something Greek or Roman, a few others recognized that it was from Norse mythology.
And few looking for an answer like Luke and Thalía were who asked Annabeth
But the gods reacted very differently, some worried that the Norse would get too close to their territory, to the Roman legion, others curious, others very paranoid, and more.
It took a great deal of effort from the deities not to say anything that would increase the interest of the half-breeds, instead many looked to Poseidon for the fact that his son would become involved with another pantheon
The king of Atlantis felt that the migraine he had was growing due to the problems his son would get into in the future; none of his children had ever gotten into trouble like that.
"Is that how he met them?" asked the goddess Herophile, being listened to by her sisters and brothers, as well as her mother
"Maybe" said Rhodes, who was still attentive to her half-brother, who had yet to adjust to what he really was
"Valkyries?" muttered Perseus as he stopped pointing his sword at the woman. "Look, I have enough trouble remembering Greek names, the Romans were even more trouble, now the Norse too?"
The way the son of the sea expressed himself made them think that perhaps he had researched a little about other mythologies, although it also caused confusion in several because of the way he expressed himself on the Greek and Roman side, as well as indignation.
"Hey!"
"What?!"
"Was he Greek?"
"Isn't he a Roman?"
"If he's a Greek, what do he do with the Romans?"
"We Valkyries are the guides of souls to" Brynhildr explained patiently "We take those fallen in battle to Valhalla to-"
"To become warriors in the service of Odin, I already know that part," Percy interrupted. "I know a couple of... How was it pronounced?... Ai... Eii... Arr..."
"Einherjar," Brynhildr helped, "You're not entirely wrong, Perseus, but there's still so much more than you can imagine. I'm coming...
"Let me stop you there," interrupted the teenager once more. "Don't call me Perseus, it gives me chills and I don't like it."
The questions of how the son of the sea actually got involved with the Norsemen, when and why, they continued to grow, as well as the half-breeds' questions about other pantheons and why only the son of Poseidon knew about them and Annabeth, for those who remembered her when Jackson said that Thor challenged Jesus to a duel.
At the same time, several more glances were directed at the king of Atlantis, who could only see the screen while feeling a great headache about the future of his son
"Okay... Percy"
"That's better."
Many noticed some exasperation in the Valkyrie before she said , " Listen to me Percy, I am not one of the Valkyries of this reality."
"What?!" Many were confused and lost at Brynhildr's explanation, but only a few understood it and began to realize why the visions didn't seem to make any sense, or things that could contradict each other, such as Percy's tattoos, whether they were those of the Roman legion or not, the way he fought, spoke or acted, the demigoddess Diana, Zagreus, the strange mortals, but it just gave them many, MANY MORE questions.
"I come from a different universe than yours, a world that needs your help."
The demigod blinked twice in confusion
"Other universes?... It's a joke, isn't it?"
"Universes?" repeated the less scholarly or less knowledgeable about the theories of the multiverse
"She... has to... be joking," Hermes said in disbelief.
"This is not possible" said Athena, even though she knew the theories of the multiverse well, at no time did the possibility of it occur to her, as they were only theories created by mortals, even if she believed in their abilities to drive science, she found it hard to believe it without proof
"What?" exclaimed most of the half-breeds as their brains tried to keep up, as did several deities who were stunned with surprise
"Does this sound like a joke to you?" asked Brynhildr as she showed a device that showed various versions of Percy Jackson, as well as the gods
"Shit..." Percy said when Brynhildr deactivated the device and dropped her sword as well as her body. "Always, whenever I think I hit rock bottom and I think life couldn't be weirder and more complicated, something like this comes along and hits straight in the face"

"WHAT?!" It was the cry given by Zeus and many other gods when they finally came out of their astonishment and the cry could be heard throughout New York City to the confusion of mortals.
Finally the gods, demigods, hunters, legates, titans, the few Amazons and mortals on Olympus realize that what they were seeing in the Olympic Council room were not visions of the future, but none of them ever expected that they were seeing other worlds.
