-Faith, Love, and Forgiveness - Chapter Twenty-seven: Matrimony-

Matsuhira Shrine - Kamakura - Wedding Day

"I-I can't do this... I'm sorry, but I can't! There's about a hundred people out there and I only know six of them! Are you sure this dress looks OK?"

"Lucy, calm down! Everything's gonna be ok if you just chill out for a minute!"

The Diclonius Queen looked like she was about to have a heart attack, cry, vomit, piss her panties, or all of the above.

"Kaeda, here." Yuka said, handing her a glass of champagne. "Take a couple of sips, it'll help."

Lucy downed the entire glass in one gulp, then took Mayu's and did the same thing.

"Take it easy! If you get yourself drunk, you're really gonna have problems!" Nana scolded.

Watching the pink-haired girl freak out was both endearing and amusing at the same time. It's one thing to have an anxiety attack on an important date like this one, but this was more along the lines of an anxiety blitzkrieg.

"I... I changed my mind... I don't think I'm ready to marry Kouta! Can we just get everyone to come back tomorrow?"

"NO!" Yuka, Mayu, and Nana all yelled at once.

Yuka walked over and physically stopped her from pacing the floor. Throwing her arms around her, she hugged her tightly, prompting the two younger girls to do likewise. At this unexpected show of solidarity, Lucy burst into tears, and the three of them held the now near-hysterical Diclonius until she calmed down.

"I'm so scared... what if I forget what to say? O-Or he changes his mind?"

"He's not going to change his mind. He wants this just as much as you do." Yuka said.

"Are you sure this dress looks OK? Maybe we should exchange it..."

"Nyu, just take a deep breath, ok? Your dress looks amazing." Mayu said comfortingly.

"Are you sure my hair and makeup look ok? Maybe I should just wash it off and start over..."

"Your hair looks beautiful, and you're barely wearing any makeup." Nana pointed out.

For some reason, the Diclonius wanted the same eyeshadow, hairstyle, and lipstick she had on when her and Kouta revisited the zoo just under three years ago. Unsurprisingly, the only one who figured out why was Nana. That visit marked the end of her and Kouta keeping their relationship a secret, and Lucy decided to commemorate that day by wearing the exact same makeup and curling her long pink hair the same way.

"What about my earrings? Should I pick another pair? Maybe I should just take them out and not wear any..."

"Lucy, you're gonna give yourself an anxiety attack!" Nana warned.

Taking a deep breath, Lucy sat down on a nearby chair to calm down. "I'm sorry... I didn't think it was going to be this hard."

Smiling at her, Nana squatted down, holding the pink-haired girl's hand. "You doing fine. If you get scared, just think about why you're here, and who you're here for." Nana replied.

"You got this, Nyu!" Mayu said.

"We'll be right beside you the whole time. If you start to fall apart, we'll catch you." Yuka told her with a reassuring kiss on her cheek.

Lucy's bottom lip trembled slightly as she burst into tears again.

"Thank you... so much. I-I can never repay all you've done..."

"You don't have to... you're family." Yuka said.

"You want to pay us back? Live for Kouta, like he lives for you." Mayu said with a teary smile.

A quiet tapping got their attention. Walking over to the door, Nana cracked it enough to talk with whoever was there, then shut it and turned back to Lucy.

"They're calling for you."

Carefully dabbing her eyes dry, Lucy took a deep breath and got to her feet. Looking at the three women who had over time become her closest friends, she smiled, but didn't speak for fear of losing her composure again. Already knowing what she was trying to say, the three of them group-hugged her one last time before leaving the room.

Now alone, Lucy could see Kouta waiting for her through the cracked-open door. With a final breath to calm herself, she opened the door. Leaving the room, she blushed faintly as she walked towards the man who was about to become her husband.

For Lucy, every step felt like a heart attack waiting to happen, and she began to feel like she was about to pass out from fear. As she started up the short flight of stairs, she tripped on her white high heels, and would have hit the ground if it wasn't for Bando catching her.

"Thanks..." she whispered.

"Anytime... freak." he replied quietly, causing Nana and Mayu to giggle.

As the wedding got underway, Lucy could feel the insecurity and doubt that was crippling her begin fading. Before long, she couldn't even remember what was causing it to begin with.

"If anyone has good cause as to why these two should not be wed, speak now, or forever hold your peace."

Hearing this, Bando pulled out a gun and glared at those in attendance.

"First one of you that opens your mouth is fuckin' DEAD!"

Despite the tense situation, Mayu couldn't help but giggle quietly. As with Lucy, Bando had changed much since the first time she met him. Like an unrefined gemstone, he may be a bit rough around the edges, but all it took was a little polishing to bring out what was under the surface.

After about ten seconds, Bando holstered his gun and the wedding continued. Looking over at him, Lucy gave him a grateful smile. The man who attempted to kill her on more than one occasion, the one she had coldly mutilated and tortured, was standing right next to her at her wedding.

"Do either of you have anything to say to the other before we proceed?"

Kouta nodded and turned to Lucy.

"I never expected this day to come. Not when we met as children, and certainly not when we met again after so many years apart. So much has happened since then, it almost doesn't seem real at times. The road we've walked to get here was hard, and the road we're about to walk down will be hard too. There will be fights, hurt feelings, tears, and stormy days ahead. But I want you to know that no matter how hard or long that road is, you'll never have to walk it alone."

"Kouta..." Lucy whispered as those in attendance applauded and her eyes filled with tears. Without even thinking, she leaned in to try to kiss him, but was stopped by Nana.

"Not yet, Lucy! We'll get to that part in a minute!"

The entire congregation erupted with laughter and Lucy sheepishly got back in place. Once it was silent again, it was the Diclonius Queen's turn to speak.

"Before I met you, I was dead... not in body, but in soul. You were my only ray of sunshine in a life that had never known anything but rain and darkness. You've seen the worst I have to offer, but you didn't look away, or pretend not to notice. I was drowning, but you pulled me to shore. I was falling, but you caught me. When I couldn't go any farther, you carried me."

Lucy took a deep breath to steady herself. "You saved me, Kouta. Your forgiveness and love have freed my soul from an abyss I had abandoned all hope of escaping from a long time ago. You're a far greater man than I could ever deserve, and I will be proud to be your wife until my very last breath."

When she got no reaction at all, she was afraid what she said had fallen flat with the ones present.

Then, she realized that every single person in attendance was crying, Bando included.

"Lucy, that was... the most beautiful thing I ever..." Nana tried to say, but finding no words, she latched onto Mayu and cried.

For several seconds, Lucy was completely bowled over by the reaction she was getting. 'Maybe I should have let someone read it after all.' she thought.

The sound of gunfire snapped her out of it, and she turned around to see Bando standing beside Kouta, gun in one hand, a used tissue in the other.

"Alright, enough of that shit. They came here to get married, and we're holding them up."

After another thirty seconds or so, most everyone had calmed down enough for the wedding to proceed.

"Do you, Kouta, swear to love and cherish this woman? To be by her side? To be a refuge for her in times of need? Do you swear on your life to have complete loyalty and unwavering faithfulness to her, and ONLY her?"

"I do."

"Kaeda, do you swear to love and honor this man? To be a shoulder to cry on in times of loss? To live for him as he lives for you? Will you now swear in the sight of God and all present to be a loyal and faithful wife to him and him ALONE?"

"I will."

'Papa... oh, I wish you were here to see this.' Nana thought. Kurama had always insisted that Lucy was a cold, soulless monster incapable of love or empathy, but he was wrong. Lucy did indeed become a monster, but she didn't stay one. She found the strength to overcome the trauma, hate, and anger that put her on that road in the first place.

That strength was Kouta. The moment he forgave her, life as she knew it changed forever. For the first time, she had hope. Hope that she didn't have to stay a monster... Hope that she really did have somewhere she belonged... Hope that she truly was loved by someone even with all the horrible things she'd done.

Hope for her and Kouta... and the life they wanted together.

When it was finally time to kiss the bride, the couple turned to each other and joined hands. With silent tears falling from her eyes, she smiled at him in pure, unconditional love.

"This is the greatest moment of my entire life..." she cried quietly. Crying almost as much as she was, Kouta smiled back and squeezed her delicate hands gently. "Mine too..."

For a moment, they just looked into each others eyes. She reached a hand up to touch his face, just as he did the same to her.

"I love you so much, Kouta..." she said softly.

"I love you too, Kaeda." he said, smiling back at her as he brushed her face lightly with his hand.

Then, after a few silent seconds...

"Lucy, just hurry up and kiss him! I gotta go to the bathroom!" Nana yelled.

As the congregation roared with laughter, she gave Nana a glare, then wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed her soft lips passionately against his.

The room exploded in applause as everyone stood up and clapped. For Yuka, the moment did honestly have a bittersweet feel to it. She was in love with Kouta for a long time, and likely always would be. It wasn't exactly a guarded secret that she had once hoped to be the one to marry him, and had even flat-out told Lucy as such.

But as much as she wanted Kouta, she wanted Kouta to be happy even more. If being with Lucy instead of her was what he really wanted, then she was going to respect that and be content with the two of them remaining extremely close friends and cousins.

"Kaeda...?"

Lucy turned to Yuka, who stood there with tears of her own running down her face.

"You better not forget your promise." she said. Yuka didn't look bitter or jealous, or even sad or angry. Far from it, she Iooked hopeful for the couple's future.

"I won't... I swear I won't." Lucy vowed.

When Yuka told her she was happy for them, Lucy knew instantly she was telling the truth. Kouta watched with no small degree of amazement as the two girls hugged, crying on each other. Seeing a line of well-wishers forming, Lucy braced herself for a whole lot of humans hugging, touching, crying, and telling her how beautiful she was. For most girls, this would be flattering, but Lucy wasn't like most girls.

She knew this was coming, but didn't know at the time how profound an effect it was going to have on her.

Unexpectedly, Bando put a hand on Kouta's shoulder and told him he was leaving.

"You're not staying for the reception?"

"Nah, I got a beach that needs cleaning."

Kouta smiled and shook hands with the man who had repeatedly tried to kill his girlfriend (now wife). "Thank you for coming... it meant a lot to us."

With a nod, Bando smiled and turned to leave.

"Wait..."

Turning around, he saw Lucy approaching him, wiping tears from her eyes.

"Ok, horned freak, what do you want now?" he asked rudely. Despite the comment, he knew he wasn't fooling the Diclonius.

"Thank you..." she smiled.

Unable to resist smiling back, he held his hand out, but was surprised when the Diclonius ignored it and hugged him instead. Speechless, he eventually gave in and hugged her back.

"You two take care of each other." he told her. Lucy nodded, wiping her eyes with a tissue.

"We will..."

He smiled at them one more time before leaving.

Watching him walk away, Lucy remembered Nana's comment about life being too beautiful for hate and grudges. Much like Kouta often did, she wondered how much better her life would've been had she learned this lesson a little sooner.

"Hey!"

Mayu walked up to her and whispered in her ear. "Are you sure you're going to be ok?" she asked, referring to the line of people waiting to hug and congratulate her and Kouta. Among them were Miss Amari, Yuri, the sisters Meyumi and Mesumi, and even Mr. Saito (who was still in shock that a Diclonius and a human actually defied all odds and got married.)

"No, but I'm going to try anyway, and you and Nana get to help."

"What?! Why?! You're the bride!"

"And you're the bride's MAID." Lucy countered with a sly smile.

Mayu looked at the line of people and sighed dramatically. "You owe me for this." she grinned as she ran to find Nana.

Thirty minutes and fifty-two "Are you two sisters?" comments later, it was finally over, and Nana had gained a new respect for the older Diclonius.

Turns out, Lucy can actually be quite charming when she wants to, and the Sipelit was very impressed with the way she let every guest who wanted to hug her do so without protest (and even more impressive, the smiles and sociability she displayed weren't just an act she put on because she thought it was expected of her. They were her genuine reaction to the incredible amount of support and acceptance she was receiving, even from those who had fully expected Kouta to marry Yuka instead).

Less impressive was Lucy using a vector to trip some guy who wouldn't stop making some inappropriate comments about her and Kouta. She tolerated it as long as possible, but the tipping point came when he made a remark that she could have done better than Kouta.

He didn't really do himself any favors when he asked her if the horns made her a 'horny' girl.

More than her restraint and charm, Nana admired Lucy's courage. Every time someone asked "Hey, are those things on your head horns?" she would smile and say yes. If someone didn't believe her, she'd move her hair out of the way to prove it. As expected, some people had a negative opinion of it, but the vast majority of those asking expressed amazement or jealousy.

How nobody seemed to notice she herself had horns, she didn't know, but she wasn't going to complain.

As the attendees made their way to the other room for the reception, Kouta and Lucy finally had a couple of minutes alone.

"I hope it was everything you were hoping it'd be." he said as he reached out to hold her.

Wrapping her arms around him, she smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. "Even if I got to pick every little minute detail, I still couldn't have done better."

Looking down at his wedding ring, he could still hardly believe what just happened. The girl who coldly murdered his father and sister was now his wife, and he couldn't think of anybody else he'd rather spend his life with.

"By the way, you were very believable when all those people were lined up." he teased playfully. "I didn't know you could fake it so well."

"I wasn't faking it, Kouta."

Well, she actually DID fake it at first, but that stopped by the time the first three or four people had come and gone. By then, she had realized they weren't just paying lip service to them, they were being sincere and genuine. The fact that there were so many people there who actually wanted to see them succeed as a couple had deeply touched Lucy's heart.

"Are you sure about that?" he asked skeptically. "You're not really the social butterfly type of girl, you know."

Pulling away, she smiled and nodded her head. "I know, but Kouta, all these people are here for US. They cared enough to take the time to come and watch us get married, even though..."

She hesitated a little before finishing her sentence. "Even though some of them probably would have preferred you to... marry someone else."

Reaching a hand up, he brushed a lock of her pink hair out of her face. "I don't think that's the case... and even if it is, I've already made my choice, and I'm not changing my mind."

"Kouta..." she smiled at him before pulling him in for a deeply passionate kiss.

Kissing her back just as passionately, he gently bit down on her lower lip and heard a faint gasp from her in response. Without warning, Lucy reached down and brushed her hand over Kouta's crotch. A sharp intake of air signaled she had gotten the reaction she had hoped for, and their one passionate kiss was quickly turning into a full-blown make-out session.

"I want you..." she said quietly as things quickly started spiraling out of control.

"I want you too, Kaeda." he assured her.

"I mean... NOW!" she replied, using her tongue on his lips.

"H-Hey! This isn't the time for that!" Kouta implored.

"Why not?"

"Because everyone's waiting for you to come cut the cake."

Standing there watching them, Mayu just sighed and shook her head before going back to the reception.

"Come on, sex fiends... they're waiting." Nana teased.

"Maybe we should kinda tone it down a bit..." Kouta suggested.

"You're probably right." Lucy admitted, albeit reluctantly. Holding hands, they followed Nana into the reception room. The moment they entered, everyone stood up and applauded. Lucy, still not used to such attention, smiled shyly and waved at the crowd, blushing so noticeably that no amount of makeup could even partially cover it.

After a brief discussion with Yuka, Lucy took the knife and began cutting slices. She only got two or three before Yuka's mother took over.

"It's bad luck for the bride to serve food on her wedding day." she winked. "Go socialize, I'll take care of this."

And so, she did. Everywhere she went, she was showered in compliments about her beauty and half-blinded by repeated camera flashes. The huge majority of those present were utterly fascinated by her, and not just because she was beautiful.

"I can't believe how kind and approachable you are! You're NOTHING like the documentaries said you'd be!" one of the women told her. "All I keep hearing is how emotionless, cold, and hateful Diclonii are towards humans."

"That's the same thing I used to believe, but I've changed my opinion." added a male relative of Yuka's. "Now that I've actually met a Diclonius in person, I can't believe how utterly full of shit the "experts" turned out to be."

"You can say that again." Mr. Saito chimed in. "I oversee the Government's Diclonius Cohabitation program, and speaking from my own personal experience, the so-called "Authorities on the Diclonius race" are woefully misinformed and ignorant."

Lucy smiled, a bit taken aback but still pleasantly surprised. Watching from a distance, Kouta smiled as he watched the pink-haired girl. He knew she had been putting a lot of effort into learning to be more sociable, but he didn't expect her to take to it so easily. Walking over to her, he reached out and took her hand in his.

The bright smile on her face when she realized it was him did not go unnoticed by the people she was talking to.

"I don't think I've ever seen a couple so clearly in love as you two." one of the older women said as she reached to hug the Diclonius. "Akia was right, you two were absolutely, without question, made for each other."

Lucy blushed, smiling happily as she returned the hug. When they let go, Kouta told her that Yuka needed to see her. As she walked off, the women turned their attention to Kouta.

"I hope you know how much that girl loves you. You sure as hell better treat her right, Kouta. You will NEVER find another girl like her, do you hear me?"

"I do." Kouta smiled sheepishly.

As Lucy went in search of Yuka, she heard giggles coming from over near the cake. Neither of the youngest two residents of Kaeda House had ever attended a wedding before, but despite their lack of experience, they both did an excellent job at behaving maturely...

...Until their first bite of cake.

The older Diclonius smiled as she watched Nana and Mayu. Though they were both starting to transition from girls to young women, watching them go nuts over wedding cake was actually pretty cute.

"Kaeda!"

Lucy turned to see Yuka coming her way.

"Can I borrow you for a moment?"

As everyone else continued enjoying themselves, the two women walked outside into the empty hallway.

"What's wrong?"

Yuka shook her head, "Nothing. I just wanted to give you this." she answered, handing the new bride an envelope containing a keycard of some sort.

"I reserved a suite for you and Kouta at Enoshima for tonight and tomorrow night. I know it's not much, but I thought you'd prefer to spend your wedding night somewhere a little more private than Kaeda House."

"Yuka..." Lucy looked at her in embarrassment. "You didn't have to do this. You've done so much for us already."

"It's alright, I wanted to do this. By the way, you and Kouta can move into the same room if you'd like. Just remember to keep it down late at night." Yuka said with a teasing smile.

The pink-haired girl stared at her, unsure of what to say.

Noting her distress, Yuka hugged the Diclonius comfortingly. Hugging her back, Lucy smiled as she quietly thanked the brunette again.

"I've got a friend who's going to take you to the hotel. That way you don't have to worry about catching a bus or train."

"Thank you... It really does mean a lot to me that you did all this." Lucy replied gratefully.

The girls held onto each other for a few more seconds before letting go.

"Come on..." Yuka smiled, "There's one more thing you need to do before everyone leaves."

Twenty minutes later

"Yuka, I don't HAVE a bouquet!"

"That's fine, I had one made for you."

Walking outside, Lucy was stunned at just how many girls were grouping up for this. "Don't stress over it. Just turn around, count to three, and throw it over your head." Yuka whispered.

"No vectors, Nana." Mayu teased.

Sticking her tongue out, the Sipelit smiled at her oldest friend as Lucy counted to three and tossed it. Nana, perhaps being a little too competitive for her own good, jumped for it, but ended up tripping on her prosthetic legs and hit the ground. Mayu went for it, but missed, and it ended up being caught by a girl she had seen Yuka talking to earlier.

"Aww... Oh, well. We'll get it next time." she comforted while Nana was frantically trying to reattach her leg with as little notice as possible.

After yet another congo line of well-wishers, Kouta and Lucy were hurried back home to pack enough clothes for the next two days. Predictably, the first thing they did upon making it to their room was consummate their newly formed union. The couple barely made it inside the room before stripping each other's clothes off.

Hours later, Kouta woke up in bed alone. Looking around their darkened hotel room, he was about to call out for his wife when he felt a draft and instantly knew where she had gone.

Slipping on a pair of boxers, he walked out on the balcony overlooking the ocean to find Lucy, wearing just an old cami and panties, staring out at the sea.

Hugging her from behind, he grinned to himself when she gave a startled little gasp.

"Kouta!"

"Sorry, couldn't help myself."

Lucy smiled, reaching up to hold onto his forearm. Together, the newlyweds watched the waves lapping at the shore as the full moon's reflection shimmered on the water.

Then, Lucy started crying.

"What's the matter?" he asked gently.

Turning around to face him, she pulled him close and hugged him tightly to her.

"Nothing... It's just... I've never been so happy..." she cried.

"Kaeda..." he whispered, gently stroking her hair.

Smiling through her tears, she cupped his face and gave him the longest kiss he'd ever received in his entire life.

"Thank you so much for marrying me..." she said quietly.

"Thank YOU for letting me..."

Lucy smiled at him and turned around so they could watch the ocean together, squeezing his hands as he hugged her from behind.

"I can't get over how mature Nana looked today. She actually looked like an adult for once." Lucy said.

She wasn't the only one that noticed, or even the first. Seeing the young Sipelit in high heels, makeup, and drinking from a glass of champagne, Yuka couldn't believe she was the same girl they're taken in years ago. She took to being a "girly girl" far easier than Lucy, or even Mayu. It was actually pretty damn impressive how effortlessly she got along with the other guests, and Lucy herself saw several men attempt to hit on her.

"She's come a long way from the homeless, naïve girl who once burned money because she thought it was just paper, that's for sure."

Lucy giggled at the reminder. "I thought I was going to die when Mayu told me she did that."

Kouta smiled, kissing Lucy's neck and shoulder. The Diclonius closed her eyes, sighing happily as he moved on from kissing to playfully nipping. She could feel his erection prodding against her ass, but decided to ignore it and continue their conversation.

"I hope she's a bit more careful with the next guy she dates."

Lucy could feel him doing... something. She thought perhaps he was scratching an itch, but then realized he was pulling his boxers down. Rather than comment on it, she decided to just wait and see.

"That Taru guy was just trying to get in her panties... I was so glad when she ditched his ass." Lucy said.

"No offense to Nana, but I'm kind of surprised she rejected his requests for sex. As curious as she is about things like that, I would have expected her to do it." Kouta said.

The older Diclonius hated to admit it, but she had thought that exact same thing herself.

"At least they didn't last long. Nana doesn't need somebody like that." Lucy answered.

"No, she doesn't." Kouta agreed. He let go of her and started rubbing her back and shoulders, trying to be firm, but gentle at the same time.

The pink-haired girl shivered a bit and closed her eyes, leaning against the guard rail with a sigh of relief. "That feels amazing..."

Very subtly, he exerted more pressure, prompting her to bend further and further until her upper body was almost horizontal. Slipping his hands under her cami, Kouta took his sweet time massaging her upper back, gradually working his way down.

"In any case, I think she'll be fine as long as..."

She trailed off as Kouta made his way from her upper back to her lower back, then her lower back to her ass.

"I'm listening."

"As long as she's a little more careful." she finished. "To be honest, it's Mayu I'm starting to wonder about."

She felt his hands lift off her body. Moments later, he slowly started to ease her panties down bit by bit.

"Why?"

After working her panties down, he resumed massaging her lower back and ass.

"She just doesn't seem interested in boys." Lucy answered.

"Would you be bothered by it if she preferred girls?" he asked.

"It'd be a little strange, but as long as she's happy, I... I think she... should..."

The Diclonius Queen faltered for a moment. "Kouta, what are you doing?"

"Nothing." he said innocently.

A few seconds later, she figured it out herself.

"Cut it out, Kouta! Seriously, we can't do this her- OH!... Oh!... Oh, God... Oh..."

Holding onto her shoulders, he had pulled back with his hands as he pushed forward with his hips, driving his hardon deeply inside her all at once.

Lucy ceased all protesting and bent over the railing farther, brushing her long pink hair out of her face as she stepped out of her panties. Kouta pulled completely out, then pushed slowly back in. After he repeated this a few more times, Lucy cleared her throat and looked back at him.

"You know... when a girl says no, but the guy does it anyway, that's a crime."

"Really? Are you pressing charges?"

Lucy bit down on her lower lip as Kouta continued to tease her. "Only if you stop..."

Kouta smiled playfully, keeping up this agonizingly slow speed for another minute or two, then gripped her hips tightly and started thrusting hard and fast into her. Lucy cried out in surprise, which almost immediately turned into moans of pleasure.

"If we get caught, you're taking the blame." she moaned breathlessly.

Kouta just smiled and continued to take her hard from behind. Their first-time as a married couple had been heavily leaning towards romance, and he knew she'd undoubtedly want it roughly if there was a second time that night.

He stopped long enough to strip off Lucy's cami and grope her breasts a little, then went right back to thrusting. Lucy closed her eyes, almost pleading with him to go harder. Kouta was, of course, happy to comply, and before long, Lucy could feel him on the edge of climax.

Suddenly, the horny couple began hearing whistles and cheers coming from the balcony next door, and were horrified to notice several people watching them have sex. Though they were both extremely embarrassed, Kouta was about to finish anyway, and the couple saw no point in being prudish so close to the end. They had already been caught, so they might as well enjoy themselves.

As the cheers, whistles, and howls continued, Lucy smiled and waved at the onlookers.

"FUCK HER HARDER!" someone yelled. The pink-haired girl blushed and started laughing along with everyone else. Seconds later, she felt her husband start throbbing.

"Don't stop..." she begged. At this point, she didn't care HOW many people were watching!

Kouta grabbed her shoulders and started thrusting as hard as he could without hurting her. As he started to orgasm, Lucy moaned far louder than usual, not caring that the people watching could hear it. As a gentle warmth started spreading through her body, she could feel his cum spurting deep within her, and he didn't stop thrusting until he was sure every drop of it was left inside of her.

"Oh my God..." she moaned, still painting a bit from exertion.

As the couple stopped to catch their breath, they noticed it wasn't just one balcony watching them anymore. At some point, the one on their other side had become occupied by people enthusiastically cheering them on.

"No, Kouta! Stop! We can't do this here!" he teased.

"Oh, shut up!"

The newlyweds laughed together as he pulled out of her. She stood up and turned around, hugging him tightly against her, forgetting all about the fact that they'd just had sex in front of a bunch of complete strangers.

After a moment, he gently slapped her bare cheeks to get her attention.

"Let's go back in." Kouta suggested. Lucy didn't bother putting her clothes back on. She reached down and picked up her panties and cami, then waved goodnight to the crowd of onlookers, unable to resist laughing when they began applauding and calling for an encore.

The young couple went back inside and locked the balcony door as they prepared for bed.

"God, I can't believe we actually did that..." Kouta blushed.

"Don't look at me, it was your idea."

"If that pops up on social media, I don't think we'll ever hear the end of it." he said. Lucy smiled, hugging her husband tightly against her.

"I don't think I'll ever be able to put into words how much I love you."

Kouta gently ran his hand through her hair, smiling at the way she brushed her cheek against his. It was hard for him to believe they were now a legally married couple, but one look at the ring on his finger was all the proof he needed.

"I feel the same way." he assured her. "And no matter what happens, I'll never stop feeling like that."

Lucy smiled back, rubbing his back lightly as they hugged. "Thank you... I know I don't deserve it, but I'm still grateful fo-"

"Stop..." he interrupted. "You DO deserve it. I don't know why you're so stubborn about that, but I wish you'd stop it."

He pulled away from her so he could make eye contact. "Everything you have ever done or said has been forgiven. You went through hell during that Cohab program so we could get married. You tried to sacrifice your own life just to keep a promise. You were even willing to surrender your freedom and happiness and go back to living in that hell-hole you came from to save not just me, but Yuka, Mayu, and Nana, too."

Resting his forehead against hers, he reached up and gently touched her face. "If you're not deserving of love, NO ONE is."

"Kouta..." Lucy smiled as a single tear ran down her cheek.

"Come on, let's go to bed." he smiled back, wiping the tear away. The pink-haired girl just nodded, letting him lead her over to the bed. Since Kouta hadn't bothered putting his clothes back on, she didn't either.

"Do you want to go see about getting you a swimsuit tomorrow?" he asked as they settled in bed.

"Why?"

For a moment, he thought she was teasing him, but it turned out to be a serious question.

"Well, we're on a beach, so I thought maybe we could go swimming." he offered. Lucy shook her head no. "I'm not comfortable exposing that much in public."

"You know they have different kinds, right? They're not all skimpy."

After thinking this over, she at least agreed to go look at some, but made no promises about actually getting one.

"No pressure. If you don't find something you like, it's OK. There are plenty of other things we can do." he smiled.

"Like what?" she asked innocently.

Kouta just yawned and turned the bedside lamp off. "Nope, not falling for it."

Lucy just giggled and cuddled her naked body against his.

"I guess I'll just have to find out for myself."

Albert's Peninsula - The next day

Sitting in a chair outside the changing room, Kouta waited as Lucy tried one swimsuit after another, with all of them being rejected for one reason or another. Some were too skimpy, while others covered too much and were more wetsuit than swimsuit. A few of them were well-fitting in the chest, but the bottoms were little more than thongs, while others had fit well in the bottom, but exposed way, WAY too much of her breasts.

She tried a few one-pieces, but most of them fit poorly, or looked utterly hideous. She had even tried a few "sport" swimsuits, but couldn't find any that fit her the way she wanted.

When the door finally opened, Kouta got up and stretched. "Well, you gave it a good shot. Sorry we couldn't find anything, but thanks for trying any..." he trailed off as he turned to face the Diclonius.

Lucy gave him an embarrassed smile, idly adjusting the top half of the swimsuit. By some kind of miracle, she had found one that both fit right and looked nice. It fit much like a normal two piece, but covered more of her breasts than a standard "triangle flap" top. The bottom half was a bit lower waisted and exposed a little more skin than a typical pair of panties, but not nearly enough to be considered skimpy.

It had thin bands instead of strings, and was a red color that closely matched her eyes. Sexy, but without looking slutty.

"What do you think?"

"Uhhh..."

Giving him a smile, she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'll take that as approval."

"Are you sure you're ok with it? You don't have to get it if you don't like it."

"It actually doesn't show much at all, and that's what I was wanting. I've already got someone who's attracted to my body, I don't need anyone else looking at me like that."

Kouta wasn't really the jealous type, but the truth was he didn't want guys gawking at her any more than she did.

"Do you want to go right now?" he asked.

Lucy leaned in to kiss him, lightly brushing her lips against his as she stared into his blue eyes.

"I'd love to." she smiled.

"Excuse me..."

The couple turned to see an older female employee looking at them.

"Honey, I don't mean to butt in, but you shouldn't go out like that without sunscreen."

"Good idea." Kouta agreed.

The woman pointed over to a display stand. "If she needs help, well... I understand." she winked at Kouta and went back to work.

"Do you need help?" he asked.

The pink-haired girl just smiled. "I might..."

Ten minutes later

After Kouta paid for her swimsuit, sunblock, and a pair of swimming trunks for himself, he returned to the changing room where Lucy was waiting, sans clothing.

"I thought it'd help speed things up." she said.

Liar...

Gathering her long, pink hair, the Diclonius Queen held it out of the way so her husband could apply sunscreen to her back-side (pun intended).

"I was not expecting to have to do this, but I'm not complaining." he teased, squirting the thick lotion in his hand. The soft gasp she made when the lotion touched her skin brought a smile to his face, and he took his time ensuring he was thoroughly coating her porcelain-smooth skin. He worked from the back of her neck, to her shoulders, then down to her lower back.

"I don't think we have to worry about here." he said as he gave her ass a gentle pat. "You said it covers you pretty well, right?"

"Better get it anyway, just in case." she told him with a playful smile. As if words alone weren't bad enough, she then bent over a little, offering her milky-pale cheeks to him. Now ridiculously aroused, Kouta obliged, coating every inch of her ass with sunscreen. The way she moaned as he applied it between her cheeks was borderline torture.

Moving down, he rubbed it between her legs, "accidentally" brushing against her clit in the process.

"Sorry, my hand slipped." he apologized. "Let me try again."

Squeezing a little more into his hand, he applied more between her cheeks, then went back to her crotch where once again teased her by "accidentally" touching her again. Instead of "trying again", he worked the lotion into every inch of her long, slender legs.

"Turn around."

Still holding her long hair over her head, Lucy held still as he rubbed her sides and stomach. Moving up her body, he slowly rubbed the sunblock on her soft bare breasts. Lucy let out a gentle moan as Kouta touched and rubbed them, then moaned even louder when he made it a point to slowly coat her nipples.

"I want you so bad right now..."

"I'd love to, but we should get going. We don't want to hog the dressing room, right?" he told her with a shit-eating grin.

'That little bastard's teasing me on purpose!' she thought.

He finally closed the bottle of sunscreen after giving her a little so she could do her face herself.

"Ok, ready to go?"

One hour later

The Albert's Peninsula store they were at was literally right across from the beach, so they didn't have far to go. Kouta and Lucy both wore their swimsuits out of the store rather than try and find somewhere to change.

With the weather as nice as it was, there were a lot of people around, both on the street as well as the beach itself. At one time, Lucy would have flat-out refused to go near that many people. She'd have taken one look at the crowds and told Kouta, "I'm not going anywhere until they're gone." even if it took hours for that to happen.

Now, she didn't give it a second thought. The two lovers held hands as they walked across the street and made their way to the nearest beach-access walkway. Though she didn't intend for it to happen, Lucy started turning heads almost the moment they left the store.

Her swimsuit was far from revealing, but being a two-piece, it still showed a lot of skin. The combination of her slender figure, perfectly-sized breasts, milky-white complexion, and long pink hair basically guaranteed she was going to get checked out and stared at by almost every guy she passed.

To Kouta's great amusement, she turned out to be just as clueless now as she was when they went back to the zoo.

"Maybe I should go back and get something that covers more..."

"Honey, do me a favor... Look around at the other girls here, and tell me how their swimsuit compares to yours."

Lucy could see where he was going with this. Most of the adult women were wearing little more than strings. Some of them were so skimpy they only covered the nipples and pubic regions.

"They're not staring because of your swimsuit, they're staring because you are absolutely gorgeous."

'And she's mine!' he couldn't help but think.

Just as she did at the zoo, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him long and deeply, a playful smile on her lips as she took him by the hand again.

"There, that should do it."

Kouta just shook his head and allowed his wife to lead him by the hand down to the shore.

Four hours later

After hours of swimming, walking, laughing, and a quick trip back across the street to reapply Lucy's sunscreen, the newlyweds stopped at a beachside Cafe to eat before returning to the hotel. By the time they finished eating, it was just after 9 pm.

"You want to go ahead and go back?" Kouta asked.

"Actually, can we go swimming again?"

"Why? The beach is deserted."

Lucy gave him a playful smile.

"Exactly."

Minutes later, the couple were back in the ocean. The businesses near this part of the beach had all closed, leaving the full moon their only source of light. After another half-hour of swimming, the couple left the water and laid down on the beach together, looking up at the stars.

"We should get something for the others before we go home, especially for Yuka."

Kouta nodded in agreement. "This whole trip has been so amazing. Thank you for being willing to go."

Lucy smiled at him. "Thanks for being willing to marry me."

"I'd be an idiot if I wasn't."

Giving him a flirtatious smile, she rolled over on her side to face him.

"Kouta, before we head back..."

She didn't even have to finish her sentence. Moments later, she was on her back with Kouta pulling the bottom of her swimsuit down. After a quick glance around to ensure they really were alone, he untied his drawstring of his swim trunks and pushed them down enough to expose himself.

Lucy opened her legs, and Kouta wasted no time getting on top of her. The horny Diclonius reached down and guided him to where he needed to be.

The pink-haired girl gasped quietly as he pushed inside her. As soon as he was in, Kouta started thrusting in and out of her. Despite the limited visibility, they could at least see each other's faces, and the look on Lucy's made it clear she was greatly enjoying herself.

Kouta abruptly stopped, turning his head from side to side.

"What's wrong?"

"I thought I heard something, that's all."

He resumed making love with his wife, kissing her lips passionately as he thrusted.

"How is it?" he asked.

"Amazing..." she smiled in reply. "I just hope I don't get sand in my... you know..."

Lucy felt one of his hands come up and grope her breasts, eliciting another soft moan from her. She reached for the top of her bathing suit and pulled it up to expose her bare breasts.

The moment she did, Kouta broke off the kiss and took one of her nipples in his mouth. Lucy gasped, encouraging him to keep going. A few seconds later, he suddenly stopped again.

"Kouta, what is it this ti-"

"Shhhh... don't talk, just listen."

After a few seconds, Lucy heard it too, but couldn't tell where it was coming from.

"What IS that?" she asked.

"I don't know, but we should leave. Come on, we'll finish this later." he said.

"The hell we are!"

"Kaeda...!"

The Diclonius shook her head. "You've been teasing me all day long, Kouta. I want to finish first, THEN go back to our room."

'Well, she's got a point...'

"Fine, but it's your fault if we get caught." he relented before starting to thrust again.

Lucy moaned quietly, gripping her husband's back as her soft lips stayed pressed against his as much as possible. Kouta stopped for a moment to take another quick look around. After a few seconds, the sex continued. Kouta, feeling that maybe he was just being jumpy, slowed his pace down a bit and broke their kiss long enough to use his mouth on her nipples a little more.

The Diclonius Queen moaned louder, both of them so caught up in their love-making, they didn't even hear the strange noise again until it was right next to them. By the time they finally realized that the noise they were hearing was footsteps, it was too late. Just as he was nearing orgasm, bright lights appeared and blinded both lovers.

"What the hell do you two think you're doing?"

They looked up to see a pair of cops looking down at them. They had been on foot patrol and heard the couples spur-of-the-moment love-making.

"Oh, shit..." Kouta muttered.

"Do you kids not realize this is a public beach? What do you have to say for yourselves?"

Kouta and Lucy looked at each other for a long moment, then looked back up at the police.

"Could you guys give us a minute? We were almost done." Lucy asked

The cops, more than a little unhappy with the Diclonius Queen's snarky response, promptly arrested them both.
