Miraculous: Rise of the Dark Moth
Chapter 5: The Defeat of a Ladybug
Synopsis: "After Dark Moth had exposed Hawk Moth and Nathalie's identities worldwide and announced his plans to take over the world, Ladybug goes to confront him at the Eiffel Tower, but he has her outnumbered, and Cat Noir was too late to help her."
Adrien Agreste hurries to the Mansion with his bodyguard as they look around for Gabriel Agreste after he had been exposed to the world as Hawk Moth, but he is nowhere to be found. "Adrien? What's the matter?" Lila Rossi asked. "Lila, what are you doing here?" Adrien asked as his bodyguard turns to her. "I heard about what happened to your father. I'm sorry that he was Hawk Moth, and that I was helping him." Lila apologized.
"I just can't believe he kept this from me." Adrien said looking down clenching his fist. "You have every right to be upset about this. But Dark Moth told me to give you this message. He's planning something at the Eiffel Tower." Lila said. "How do you know about that?" Adrien asked as he began to realize. "You're a spy again?" Adrien asked. "I'm sorry. I had no choice." Lila said as she moved to the side showing an illusion of Lila.
Adrien runs to his room while his bodyguard blocks Lila who transforms into Volpina. "You're in my way, Gorilla." Volpina said as she blows her flute making an illusion of Gorizilla. The bodyguard tries to fight back to protect Adrien until Gorizilla strikes him. "We got to warn Ladybug." Adrien said to Plagg. "No kidding. I can't stand to see Nooroo and Duusu to be abused by a new Hawk Moth." Plagg said. "Plagg, claws out!" Adrien shouted having Plagg warp into his Cat Miraculous and transforms into Cat Noir. "Got to find my Bugaboo." Cat Noir said leaping out the window until he was grabbed. "I don't think so, kitty!" A voice said from behind him, as someone slammed him on the rooftop, and it was Copycat, a villain who looks a lot like Cat Noir. "Copycat." Cat Noir said. "I don't have time for this." He said. "Too bad, loser. Now you're mine!" Copycat shouted.
Cue Miraculous transition

At the Tom and Sabine Bakery, Marinette was pacing around her room as Chloé comes to the bakery. "Chloé, what are you doing here?" Marinette asked. "I'm here to apologize like I said." Chloé said as they talked in Marinette's room. "I realize I have done some bad things in the past, and I thought I would start by apologizing to you." Chloé said.
"Listen, there's something you should know." Marinette said. "Don't say it. You're in love with Adrien, yet you never had the guts to tell him. But when I look at you, Dupain-Cheng, I think I'm seeing Ladybug. You're not her, are you?" Chloé asked as Marinette sighs. "You figured me out. So, you planning to use that secret against me? Blackmail me?" Marinette asked.
"Ridiculous! I would never." Chloé stated to her rival. "Look, I didn't do a good job being a hero as Queen Bee. I had to get my family to be victims for Hawk Moth, Gabriel Agreste. All I want is a second chance. Please." Chloé said as Tikki comes out. "Well Chloe, considering how you apologized, we'll give you and Pollen another chance." Tikki said. "Hi." Chloe said slowly smiling, but sadly.
"How sentimental." A voice said as Tikki hides somewhere and Dark Moth appears on Marinette's television screen with Prime Queen. "Bonjour, MDC and CB. Am I interrupting anything?"
"Dark Moth? What do you want?" Marinette asked. "I'm just here to give a message for Ladybug, cause I know she's watching." Dark Moth said. "Come to the Eiffel Tower, I have a big surprise for you that is coming." Dark Moth said. "And by that, he means a big... surprise." Lady Wifi smiled evilly as Dark Moth gently pushes her away. "We got a lot of hostages over here to make them suffer, so tell Ladybug, don't be late." Prime Queen said as the screen turns off as Marinette who frowns showing her teeth.
"That doesn't sound good, does it?" Chloé asked. "No, it doesn't." Marinette said as she takes out the Miracle Box. "Hold on! You've been guarding that box that holds the Miraculouses. Since when?" Chloé asked. "A Master lost his memories, and now I have to guard them. But look, Chloé, I'm trusting you with the Bee Miraculous. Get back to the hotel as fast as you can, protect Pollen, understand?" Marinette asked. "No need to tell me twice." Chloé said as she ran.
"Time to save Nooroo and Duusu. Tikki, spots on! Ha!" Marinette shouted as Tikki warps into her earrings and transforms into Ladybug. She exits out of her room and swings across multiple buildings with her yo-yo.

A group of Sapotis were holding Alya, Max, Rose, Mylene, Juleka, Luka and I in a corner. However, Ladybug's yo-yo cuts their hats making them vanish. "It's Ladybug!" I shout as she lands. "Everyone okay?" Ladybug asked. "Yeah, now that you're here, girl." Alya said.
"As expected." Dark Moth said coming out from behind on a floating chair. "Hello Ladybug, shall we duel?" He asked smirking. "You got it!" Ladybug shouted until something charged into her. "Not feeling lucky?" A voice asked. It was revealed to be Antibug, the akumatized version of Ladybug. "Antibug? Lady Wifi? Bubbler? Animan? Robostus?" She asked seeing the many different villains.
"You want to take on the Big Boss? Too bad. You're in for a loss." Bubbler spoke as a silhouette similar to Ladybug appears. Ladybug strikes with her yo-yo, but uses an afterimage and strikes her. "What the? This guy's faster than Ladybug." Alya spoke recording on her phone. "No, it's something else. Markov, scan that silhouette." Max said to his robot friend. "I'm on it." Markov said as Ladybug fights against the many villains around her.
Ladybug opens her yo-yo to communicate with Cat Noir. "Cat Noir, I need you at the Eiffel Tower now!" She shouts. "Trying to if not for Volpina being here with Copycat! I'll be right there, Bugaboo." Cat Noir said fighting against Copycat. "Stop calling me Buga..." Ladybug said until she was cut off by Animan. "Boo!" He swipes Ladybug with a paw which she dodges until the silhouette looking like Ladybug attacks sending her to a wall. "Nice!" Dark Moth smirks.
"Markov, just who is that looking like Ladybug?" Max asked. "Error! Error! Error! Enemy looks like Ladybug! This doesn't make sense!" Markov panicked as Ladybug was being beaten by the villains. "Running out of time here, Cat Noir!" Ladybug shouted as the evil silhouette of Ladybug knocks her down. After that, she falls to everyone's horror and shock, even Cat Noir's.
"No!" Cat Noir shouted in horror. "Ladybug! Ladybug!" Alya shouted in horror that Ladybug has fallen. Ladybug lifts her head as her vision was blurry, looking at the silhouette, looking like an evil version of Ladybug. "Now we all know which one of us is the real stronger, more miraculous Ladybug, Faker." The evil Ladybug spoke as Ladybug falls unconscious.
Ladybug was captured and Paris had fallen into the hands of Dark Moth and the Akuma Army.
