Episode 2: The Hero Team is Forming pt.2

At the Central Park

7:00 pm

"Mind telling us, why you said we are a team. I mean not that I mind" Omen reassured Pistol, sitting down on the bench, next to her in the park.

"Can we speed things up, I need to go do my personal life." Lightning Fast told them, while looking at a invisible watch on his wrist.

"I just thought, since we work as a team, that we could be one" she told them, looking down, sheepishly. She looked up, when she felt a hand on her shoulder, towards Amazonian Woman, who was giving her a smile.

"I would agree with you, even though I was taught to hate men" she told her, letting go of her shoulder, and stepping back.

"Ok, let's put it to a vote, all in favor of being a team, raise a hand" Lightning Fast said, while raising a hand. The only two people that didn't was Askr and the Blue Arrow.

"Alright I understand the Blue Arrow, since he wants to be a lone wolf, but why didn't the emotionless human raise his hand" Omen said as everyone look at the rigid form of Askr.

"Be on the team, they would need your guidance" Clair told him, on his transmitter, as he finally took notice of everyone staring at him.

"I will be on the team, if you want me to be." He told them, as Pistol smile at him.

"If he is on the team, then I guess I will be too." The Blue Arrow told them, resigning to his fate.

"I can't believe we're a team, now" Pistol squealed excitedly, as Omen rubbed his ear, cause of her squealing in his ear.

"Alright, but I have one question, where are we suppose to go?" Lightning Fast asked the team, as they are sitting or standing in the park.

"I have the money, meet me here in one week" Blue Arrow told them, before leaving them.

"Right, I gotta go" Lightning Fast sped towards the restaurant where his parents are.

At the restaurant

7:03 pm

"He sure is taking a long time into the bathroom " Aaron's mother told his father, looking worried, as they are waiting for Aaron to return, with his food already starting to get cold.

"I'll check to see if he is okay" getting up from his chair, and walking towards the bathroom, not noticing that Lightning Fast quickly zoom pass him, and into the bathroom. He crawled under the door of the stall with his shoes, changing out of his costume, and putting his shoes back on. His father entered the bathroom, going to the stall that is the only one occupied.

"Son, you okay?" His father asked him, sounding worried. Aaron flushed the toilet to make it more believable that he was in the stall, the whole time. He opened the door, feeling his electricity in his left hand, starting to act up. Aaron put his hand, behind his back, until it is safely under control.

"Yeah, I'm f-fine dad" moving pass him to the sink to wash his hands in it.

"Alright, we'll be waiting for you, at our table" he told his son, leaving the bathroom. Aaron put both of his hands on either side of the sink, looking up at the mirror, noticing his eyes have black circles under them.

"Why is my powers acting up, now of all places" he asked himself, pushing himself away from the sink, and leaving the bathroom.

At a huge fancy Mansion

7:30 pm

"Where have you been, my precious Emily" a woman had rush up towards her, to cup her cheeks in her hands.

"Aunt, you are so funny" Emily giggled, as it started to rain outside, heavily. She is dressed in blue jeans and blue mid-riff shirt with only one shoulder sleeve on it. She have blue sparkling boots. With her hair being a long brown that reaches the center of her back, with a pink bow on her left side of her hair. She have round sparkling blue eyes.

"Yes, of course" she had let go of her cheeks, as somebody else entered the mansion, in a soaking outfit.

"Hey, sis" her brother greeted her with a hug, before letting go. Emily didn't care that she had gotten wet from the hug. Her brother have short brown hair that is spiked upwards with a black strip of hair in the back of his head. He wears a ripped black jeans and black short sleeve. He have black and red striped boots.

"Hiya, Eric" she smiled at her brother, as her aunt gave him a look of disgust, which he is the only one to notice.

"Darling, why don't you head towards your bedroom" their aunt told Emily, as Eric crossed his arms, and glare at his aunt, after his sister left them.

In a house, in the big city

7:40 pm

"Hey, Uncle Henry, I'm home" putting the books down, on the table, as her uncle walked into the room.

"More books, Corey, shouldn't you return some books, before you got more books?" Her uncle asked her. She have light brown hair, very short in a pixie cut, with some small curls here and there. She is wide eyed honey brown, and she wears a white shirt with brown cargo pants, denim jacket, and brown workboots.

"Nope, I just love knowledge" Corey smiled at her uncle, before picking up the heavy books, and going to her room, putting them on her bookshelf. She went to her desk, sitting down on a chair, while putting something together that was on her table.

In a nearly abandoned apartment

8:00 pm

"Hey, Pudge, I got you some snacks" he told his raccoon, as he opened the closet to let Pudge out, for a little while. He have slate grey with a few thin ivory streaks. Style is a mix between a wolf cut and jellyfish cut. Long uneven bangs that is part on left side and partially cover eye, front is nose length while back hair is above chest length. His eyes are sharp but down turned, very light ice blue with a strange opal shine, with two moles under his left eye.. He wears sleeveless high neck black top, oversized dark grey sweater with red flower embroidered sleeves, black pants, belt chain, and platform boots.

"I think, I'm going to sleep" he told his pet raccoon, yawning, and laying on a ruined mattress, with Pudge laying next to him, to snuggle with him.

In a hotel

8:20 pm

"Will, this be all, ma'am?" A man asked her, bowing to her, as he showed her to a room.

"Yes, and my name is Amelia, you may leave me, so that I can settle in" Amelia told him, trying not to show a disgusted look on her face, by being close to a man.

"Of course" he was about to leave, but saw that she is struggling to turn on the television. "The power button is the red one" he told her, before actually leaving the room. She clicked on the television, and then sat down on her bed to watch it.

One Week Later (at a McDonald's place)

4:00 pm

Aaron is in his hero costume, slurping on a milkshake, before noticing the time, and finishing his food, so that he can toss it away. "I gotta go" he told the employees, before super speeding out of the place. He started to run towards the park, but heard a cry for help in a nearby abandoned warehouse.

"Help me" a little girl started to cry in terror, as he approached her, slowly. He touch her, or he would've if she was real, but it was only a hologram.

"What?" He asked himself, but shook his head as he doesn't have time for this."I'm going to be late" as Lightning Fast was about to super speed towards the park, but his left ankle was encase in ice, pausing his momentum.

"Well, well, look what the cat drag in" A mysterious voice said in the shadows.

"Who are you?" As he tried to get his feet free by trying to pull on them, but couldn't.

"You know, I could just leave you here, but I won't, since I want you to be a team, and then when your comfortable, I'll take it all away from you" the voice told him, freeing him from the ice, before disappearing, as if the person was never there at all. His eyes widen in shock, before shaking his head, and using his speed to meet up with the others.

At the Park

4:15 pm

"Your late" the Blue Arrow stated the obvious, while crossing his arms at Lightning Fast. Pistol notice the worried look on Lightning Fast's face.

"I'm sorry" Lightning Fast told him, while looking down.

"Don't worry about it. We are still waiting for Krypto Knight" he told him, letting his arms fall to his side, just as Krypto Knight arrived, floating downwards.

"My apologies, friends" he touched the ground.

"Where were you, rescuing a cat in a tree?" Omen asked sarcastically, while smirking.

"Actually, it was three cats in the tree" Krypto Knight told him, making his smirk fall from his face.

"Can we continue, so that I can tell you, why I brought you here. Now Pistol, and I have been making a near indestructible bracelet for the past week. Though the only weakness, that it have is fire." The Blue Arrow and Pistol pass the bracelets, around.

"Once you put it on, it will sync to your DNA only, and it will grow big, or shrink itself to accommodate with your wrist" Pistol continued the explanation where the Blue Arrow had left off.

"All you guys have to do is touch the green button to go to base, but the red button is to get back to the last location on Earth that you were standing on." The Blue Arrow finished the explanation.

"Wait, what do you mean, on Earth?" Omen asked, while everyone put their bracelets on their wrist.

"I shall demonstrate" the Blue Arrow told them, clicking the green button. Two dark blue halos suddenly appeared around him, one going up and the other downwards, before reversing their position, and when it meet each other, the Blue Arrow disappeared.

"What had happen to him?" Krypto Knight asked, as some of them look concern, while others don't seem to be bothered by it.

"Don't worry, he is at our base in space" Pistol reassured them with a smile. Everyone else's eyes widen in shock, besides Askr, who is showing no emotions on his face.

"We can't keep him, waiting" Lightning Fast told them, pressing the green button on his bracelet, and instead of a dark blue, he had gotten a electric type blue of halos that had appeared. The halos did the same thing as before. "Heh, it tickles" before he disappeared.

Askr press the green button, making black halos appear around him, and have him disappear. Amazonian Woman also press the green button, having a gold glow on her halos, and disappearing. Krypto Knight have a mixture of red and white halos appearing, while Omen have a mixture of black and grey halos that had appear, as they are teleported to the base. Pistol was the last to go, as she had to make sure, everyone got there, safely. Her halos is the color of orange, that is mix with brown.

In Space at the Base

4:20 pm (before the others had arrived)

"Welcome A dash zero seven, Blue Arrow" a robotic female voice told him in the speakers. Blue Arrow stepped out of the halos, when it had separated to let him walk out of the space. He crossed his arms to wait for the others.

"Welcome A-01, Lightning Fast" he appeared, and when he had been free to move. He turn to the side, to vomit. The Blue Arrow gave him a disgusted look.

"Welcome A-04, Askr"

"Welcome A-03, Amazonian Woman"

"Welcome A-02, Krypto Knight"

"Welcome A-06, Omen"

"Welcome A-05, Pistol" she was the last to arrive, as some of them, look around in wonder.

"Now that everyone is safe here, we can tell you, what is going to happen" the Blue Arrow told them.

"We have designed each of your room in accommodation with your powers or lack thereof, which would be base off of costumes so that we can't let our identity leak out." Pistol continued to explain."We also have monitors to watch the whole Earth to see if there are any crisis on it" as they all followed the Blue Arrow and Pistol to the monitors. The Blue Arrow sat in a chair to show them how to work the monitors.

"One of us will stay at the monitors, when we don't have to worry about our personal lives. So we will all take turns watching Earth. Pistol, show them, what to do in a crisis" the blue Arrow told her, as he got up to follow them to the teleportation chambers.

"These three chambers will take us to any location on Earth, if they need our help, just type in the location of where you want to go." Pistol showed them how to type in the terminal, before pressing enter. A portal opened in a chamber, making some of them look in awe, before she had shut it down.

"So, who shall take watch, right now?" The Blue Arrow asked them, leaning against a wall, behind them, with his arms cross over his chest, as a alarm started to go off.
