Authors Note: So, long story short, don't listen to anything I said in last chapter about writing chapters only on the weekend, I will be writing chapters all throughout the week but most will be written on the weekend.
Kion and the guard had left the redwood forest a few days ago, it seemed that the Tree was further away than anyone had been expecting, in fact they had come upon a small desert the day they left the forest, but it was in fact very small, it took the group maybe 15 minutes to get across it.
"Guys!" Anga squawked. The group looked at the violet eagle waiting for her to say something but it never came.
"Anga?" Kion asked.
"Snow!" She said
"Avalanche?" Fuli asked concerned
"No, just snow, look." Anga said while turning her head because she was still flying.
"Ohhhhh" Bunga exhaled, "Snow."
"Yea, that's what I said." Anga said sarcastically.
"Let's go guys!" Kion ordered while running towards then through the snow and going towards a large lake.
Suddenly, Kion stopped as he looked at the lake in confusion.
"Woah." Bunga said in confusion.
"What?" Ono asked concerningly.
"Hard water?" Bunga replied
"Ohhhh, it's not hard water Bunga, it's ice" Ono explained
"Ice?" Fuli asked.
"Yes, ice, it's water that was either already here or fell from the sky then it became cold enough for it to freeze." Ono informed the group
"Is it safe?" Beshte asked.
"Uh, water frozen or not is not something I want to be on or in." Azaad said while looking at the ice.
"Agreed" Fuli said to the male cheetah
"Probably not, we should go around just in case" Ono told them.
"Alright, c'mon guys were going the long way." Kion told the group. Immediately after saying this Kion starts to walk around the lake with the rest of the group following him.
When the group finally made it around the lake the sun was starting to rise, which meant the group was tired and desperately needed rest. Despite their fatigue the group pushed on towards a mountain pass Makini had told them they needed pass through, thanks to Anga the group actually knew where it was.
"I see it! I see the pass!" Kion said joyfully
"Finnaly!" Azaad and Fuli said together
"Poa"
"Zuka Zama!"
Right when the guard was going to go through the pass they heard a familiar voice
"Plantagenet!" The voice growled.
"Fisadi!" Kion growled back.
Just as Kion had growled Makucha and Mama Binturong came out along side Chuluun and Ora.
"Makucha!" Fuli growled
"Cheetah- uh cheetahs" Makucha growled back.
"I have a name" Azaad growled.
"Bunga!" Mama binturong snarled.
"Mama!" Bunga exclaimed.
"Kion" Chuluun growled
"No Chuluun, Kion's mine." Ombre snarled
Kion and Ombre started circling, although it was obvious that Kion was much larger than Ombre despite them being the same age.
"Woah, has he gotten bigger?" Makucha rhetorically asked.
"It looks like it" Ora obliviously answered.
"It was a rhetorical question." Makucha bluntly stated.
Unbeknownst to both groups they were being watched by a white owl in a tree.
"hooo, woah, better warn the Night Pride" The owl said before flying off through the canyon.
"Plantagenet! No matter how much bigger than me you are you won't defeat me!" Ombre snarled.
"We'll see about that!" Kion growled.
Just then the two lions lunged at each other. All the other animals stopped fighting and just stood there watching the two in awe and fear as they fought with immense strength. Kion smacked his paw against Ombre's face as Ombre did the same to Kion. The two roared out in anger as they continued the fight. Kion hit Ombre with immense strength and speed, Ombre tried to strike back but was too slow, until, he saw an opening to bite Kions leg. Ombre bit down on Kion's front leg with immense strength, however, despite the pain, Kion's anger only grew, and the ferocity of his attacks.
"GAH!" Ombre roared out as Kion smacked his side with his claws. However this was quickly returned onto Kion as Ombre bit him in the neck and threw him to where Kion could see the guard and the guard could see Kion's face and eyes. Every animal who was watching saw Kion's eyes narrow. Kion then charged at Ombre and knocked him down with unmatched strength, Kion then started raking Ombre's side with his claws, once he was done raking Ombres side, Kion bit Ombre in the back and threw him into a rock, knocking him out. Makucha was about to go in but he heard a voice that he didn't recognize, the guard didn't recognize it either.
"GRAAA!" The lion that the voice belonged to roared as he ran past the Guard and Ombre's followers and rammed into Kion's side.
"What th-" Kion roared as he saw the lion, the lion that had attacked Kion then started smacking Kion in the face claws out.
Once Kion had regained his surroundings he smacked the lion across the face with crazy strength. The lion stumbled back but Kion didn't let up on his attacks. Kion was smacking the lions side the same way he had with Ombre. Kion was about to bite the lion in the neck but was pushed back. However, Kion's rage didn't subside. His eyes narrowed once more, dark clouds rolled in, and he threw his head back then forward again as he let the roar out. The lion that had attacked Kion was now sent flying back through the canyon and onto the other side.
"Did, did i jus-" Kion started until he got thrown onto his side, when Kion looked up he saw a lioness who looked to be around his age.
"Who are you!" The lioness roared
"uh, I'm Kion, and those guys are my guard." Kion explained, however when he looked over there he saw that Ombre's followers had disappeared. Kion quickly looked back over to where he had thrown Ombre and saw that he was also gone. "NO!" Kion roared and tried to get back up but was pinned back down by the lioness.
"Why were you attacking that lion and then my brother?" The lioness snarled. "And what was that roar thing?"
"First of all, your 'brother' attacked Kion first." Fuli started.
The lioness looked back down at Kion who nodded. The lioness then let Kion up.
"What was that roar thing?" the lion snarled.
"It's called the Roar." Kion bluntly stated.
"Mhm." The lioness said.
"Who are you?" Kion asked.
"My name is Rani, i am the leader of the night pride and future queen of the Tree of Life." Rani proudly stated.
"Rani, I need help-" Kion started
"I'm sure you do Kion, but that roar and your actions say that you aren't safe to be in the Tree of Life." Rani stated "Leave. And never come back."
"But" Fuli started and looked for Kion but he was nowhere to be found. "What? Where'd he go?"
"Hopefully far away." Rani stated. "Night pride! Let's go!" Rani and her Night Pride then ran back through the canyon.
Fuli and the others watched the group of lions run back down the pass, then when they couldn't see them anymore, they started searching for Kion.
"Kion?" Fuli said concerningly.
"Kionnnnn" Bunga said while looking in a tree.
"Where could he have gone?" Beshte said.
"I can't even see him, so he either got really far or he's hiding." Anga explained
Suddenly they heard the roar of a lion, then they heard the roar of a leopard.
"Kion!" The group said in sync.
"Come on!" Anga said before flying towards the sound of the roars.
When the guard got there they saw Kion, but they also saw Makucha and 2 other leopards.
"All alone now Kion" Makucha growled
Kion didn't respond, he just kept looking at Makucha with a desire to kill, this look even scared Bunga.
"Anga, do you see the look in his eyes too?" Bunga asked in a scared voice.
"Yep" Anga could only muster a fearful voice.
Back down with Kion and the leopards.
The first leopard lunged towards Kion, which proved to be a grave mistake, with one swift movement of his paw Kion sent the leopard flying into a wall before roaring so loud that it could be heard for miles. This caught the attention of the owl from earlier. The owl flew toward the origin of the roar and saw that the lion from earlier was being circled by two leopards, when she looked a little closer she could see another leopard by a wall trying to get up. She thought that the Night Pride might want to know about this but also wanted to see how the fight went, she then saw another snow owl.
"Theluji! Go alert the Night pride of a disturbance!" She ordered, the other owl then flew as fast as he could to the Night Pride to alert them.
"Night Pride! Night Pride!" Theluji hooted
"Yes Theluji?" A adult male lion asked.
"Ullu told me to warn you of a disturbance outside the Canyon." The owl responded.
"You don't think-" An adult lioness started
"I don't know, but we should go check!" Rani roared "with strength and respect!"
"Night Pride protect!" The other 3 lioness finished. And they ran to the Canyon.
Back with Kion's fight
"Gah!" Kion roared as he got hit across the face by a leopard, however the attempt to stun Kion was very short lived as he brought his paw up and smacked the leopard with immense strength, knocking him out on impact.
"Really Kion? You're gonna put up this much of a fight?" Makucha growled "Everyone, come join us."
Just after Makucha said that 8 other leopards walked out from the tree line.
"Oh no! We have to help him!" Makini shouted.
"No!" Kion roared. "Stay somewhere safe! I can handle this!"
The Night Pride got here just in time to hear this. When the group of lions got to where the Lion Guard was standing they looked down and all gasped.
Down where Kion and the leopards were fighting. A leopard jumped toward Kion's back and was able to get his claws dug into Kion's sides. However Kion saw a chance to bit the leopards neck and took it, as Kion got his powerful jaws around the leopards neck he could taste blood, however, Kion's natural instincts had kicked in and he was only fighting for survival. Kion threw the leopard into the air then when he got close enough smacked his paw into the side of the leopard sending him flying. Suddenly another leopard jumped forward but Kion was able to see this one as he turned and knocked the leopard out with a paw strike to the face. Another leopard jumped forward trying to save the knocked out leopard but Kion was able to get his jaws into this leopards back and throw him out of the way. A leopard saw an opening to bite Kion but hesitated and missed it completely.
"Leopards! We can't win this! Fall back! We'll get you next time Kion" Makucha snarled before running into the forest.
"Woah" Rani muttered. However as she said that Kion collapsed from exhaustion. "Woah! Hippo! Can you carry him?"
"Uh, yea?" Beshte said confused.
"Surak, help the hippo get Kion onto his back!" Rani ordered, then the adult lion ran down to where Kion and Beshte were, however when he got there he realized how big Kion actually was.
"woah, he's bigger than me! And I'm fully grown" Surak mumbled.
"Come on lift!" Beshte said in a concerned tone.
Once Surak had lifted Kion onto Beshte's back.
"Nirmala, will he be ok?" Rani asked the adult lioness.
"I don't know, but it looks like he collapsed from exhaustion rather than any injuries from the fight with the leopards." Nirmala explained. When Rani heard that she sighed from relief.
" Ok but we should take him into the Kingdom so he can rest peacefully then he can meet the queen" Rani replied. She then turned to the Lion Guard "You guys are welcome in the Tree of Life now."
"Thank you, Rani" Fuli said respectfully
"of course, now follow me" Rani said before walking toward the canyon.
The guard followed Rani but Baliyo was watching the group closely. When they got through the canyon they saw something they had never even heard of. There was a Tundra next to a desert and a savanna next to a swamp.
"Poa" Beshte bellowed.
"I've never seen anything like it before!" Anga squawked.
"Yes, the Tree of Life is unique for it's diverse habitats," Rani explained.
Then Anga noticed a Tree in the middle of a grassland, the grass land was a circle with all the other habitats eventually converging on it.
"Is that-" Anga started
"Yes, that is the Tree of Life" Rani interupted. "So where are you guys from? I just want to show you to a place you are familiar with so that you can rest."
"We're from the Pride lands," Ono squawked.
"Pride lands? Wait so he's-" Surak started
"Yes, this lion is Prince Kion Plantagenet of the Royal Family of Pride Rock, leader of the lion guard and holder of the Roar of the Elders" Fuli said proudly.
"I fought a plantagenet! And won!" Baliyo exclaimed.
"Little brother, I wouldn't call you getting blown away by a roar winning" Rani said sarcastically.
"Hmph" Baliyo's happiness was short lived. Rani just laughed at this while the rest of the guard payed no mind to the two lions
"When are we going to get to the savanna?" Fuli asked impatiently
"Actually, we're here" Nirmala answered the young cheetah. "Get some Tomorrow you meet the queen."
The Night Pride left the guard to get some rest, but first they got Kion down from Beshte's back.
"Grru" Kion groaned out as he slid off of Beste's back.
"Alright, everybody get some rest." Fuli ordered before laying down, she soon felt something touch her fur, however when she opened her eyes she saw that Azaad was now laying right next to her. He smiled at her which made Fuli chuckle, eventually she fell asleep.
When sunrise came Kion woke up.
"Augh" He groaned "That fight was something for sure"
Soon enough the rest of the group woke up.
"Kion, are you okay?" Azaad asked.
"Yea, just a little sore" Kion answered.
"Rani said that we can meet the queen today." Beshte said.
"Queen, wait, where are we!" Kion asked freaking out.
"Kion, calm down we're in the tree of life" Fuli told the large lion.
This calmed Kion down a lot "Oh" He said calmy.
"Lion Guard" Rani said as she walked up. She paused when she saw Kion awake, now that she could actually see the large lion she realized that he was an extremely large lion, especially for his age. His body was covered in efficient muscle that was distributed throughout his body. His mane was a crimson red as it looked to be almost completely grown in. "Kion." Rani said respectfully.
"Rani" Kion returned the respect and bowed.
"Follow me. It is time for you to meet the queen." Rani stated.
The guard followed Rani to the Tree. When they got a closer look they saw an opening at the bottom that could have fit Beshte with Kion on his back. They walked into the tree and the path was illuminated by mushrooms and paintings that covered the walls. They got to a big room and saw an old lioness laying on a rock.
"Lion Guard this is Queen Janna of the tree of life." Rani said.
"Hello your majesty" The guard all said in sync as they bowed.
"Hello, Lion Guard? So you're from the Pride lands." Janna stated
"Yes your highness." Kion replied.
"And seeing as you're the only lion you must be the leader and a member of House Plantagenet. Which means that you have the roar." Janna continued.
"Yes?" Kion said confused.
"which of you require healing?" Janna asked.
"Me and Ono." Kion answered quickly.
"Ono, Kion, come forward." Janna said. Kion and Ono both walked over to the rock the Queen was on, Janna examined Ono's eyes. "Young Egret it seems you have suffered from volcanic smoke and ash" she said and ono nodded. "Hmm, it will take a few days for your healing to be complete. Now Kion come here." Kion stepped closer to the Queen but was surprised when Janna gasped loudly "Young lion you have been bit by a Cobra! Your healing will take much more time but you will get there" Kion nodded and walked back over to his Guard.
"Kion we will start your healing tomorrow, same with you Ono." Nirmala said.
"You guys should go look around" Rani stated.
With that the group left the tree and started walking back to the savanna.

Also Im struggling to find ideas for chapter 7 so if you have any that would fit in
