Inside the Nemesis, Soundwave was doing his normal duty waiting until he was truly so he could copy, download, and deliver the Iacon database to Optimus or Ratchet while deleting the Decepticons' copy of the database and then making it seem like either one of the Vehicons or Starscream had did the deed.
"Soundwave." A voice called out
Soundwave rolls his optics before he turns to the owner of the voice
It was a red and yellow Cybertronian with bright red optics, tires on his back, and two front car lights on his chest.
'Of all the Decepticons' medics, Knockout is the one to come to Earth.' Soundwave said
"Been a while, hasn't it?" The mech now known as Knockout questioned.
'I wish it was longer.' Soundwave thought.
"I just came here to see Starscream." Knockout said.
'So you two could have a "who has the bigger ego" contest?' Soundwave thought as he sent a message to the wannabe Decepticon warlord.
An hour later Starscream walks up to them.
"Ah, Knockout how good it is to see you, where is your assistant at?" The SIC of Decepticons asks
"Currently investigating an Energon reading." Knockout said.
"And why aren't you with him then?" Starscream question.
"I decided to take a leisurely drive on my way here." Knockout said.
Then Knockout's coms started to beep.
"Breakdown is that you?" He questioned.
"Yes, and I just ran into an old "buddy" of mine and found an Energon Harvester." Breakdown answered
"An Energon harvester you say?" Knockout questioned.
"Yeah, but right now I'm trying to get it from Prime and Bulkhead." Breakdown answered
"I see." Knockout said.
"What is your bodyguard talking about?" Starscream questions
First off he's not my bodyguard second Breakdown has found an Energion harvester." Knockout said.
"What why aren't you going to aid him and get that Energion harvester if there's a chance of it being a real Energion harvester then it would give us an edge over the Autobots!?" The femme that claims she a mech said
"I'm just now hearing about it Starscream." Knockout said.
The seeker then pointed his right arm at the medic.
"Go get that harvester now!" Starscream shouted.
Soundwave mentally rolls his optics again.
"Alright! Alright! Don't blow a gasket." Knockout said.
The medic turns around and leaves the bridge.
"I'll never understand that mech." The wannabe Megatron said.
'You're not alone with that.' Soundwave thought.
"Soundwave I'll be on the bridge if you need me." Starscream said.
Soundwave didn't say anything.
As soon as Starscream was gone Soundwave rubbed his visor in annoyance.
'I better start making a fake Energion harvester and switch it out with the real one.' he thought
With that thought in his mind Soundwave heads to the lab.
None of the Vehicons give him a second look.
'Hmm, I could see how the other races couldn't tell the Vehicons apart.' Soundwave thought he once tried to tell the Autotroopers and Vehicons apart without help from his hub but failed every time.
He suddenly feels Laserbeak stirring.
Once he entered the lab he locked it and let out Laserbeak.
'Let's get to work.' Soundwave thought.
Laserbeak fly around the room.
'Looks like Laserbeak is having fun right now.' Soundwave thought.
Then the memories of Frenzy, Rumble, and Ravage came to his mind.
'I just wish they could still be here.' Soundwave thought in sadness.
He went back to work.
After an hour of working, Soundwave had finished his fake Energon harvester.
He put it into his storage space.
'Now I just to wait for the opportunity to switch them.' Soundwave thought.
'When that peacock gives a long speech, it's those speeches that make me wish we Cybertronians needed air to breathe.' Soundwave thought as Lasereak returned to his place.
As he leaves the lab he ends up walking past the medical wing.
He reached the bridge where Starscream was practicing a speech.
'Here we go.' Soundwave thought.
Soundwave saw the real Energon harvester on the captain's chair.
'I just need a way to get to it without catching anyone's attention.' He thought.
Soundwave was about to see if Laserbeak could get it.
"Soundwave prepare the harvester for transport to the human dig site." Starscream said.
Soundwave didn't say anything.
'Wow, that's convenient.' Soundwave thought.
He take the harvester and walk away.
'Alright now I can make the switch.' Soundwave thought.
He just so.
He then places the fake in the hands of the vehicon trooper tasked with transport.
"Now to deal a might blow to Prime's Bots." Starscream said
'You'll just fail.' Soundwave thought.
Soundwave distances Lasebeak and hands the harvester to the Minicon.
Soundwave then has Laserbeak hide the harvester.
With Starscream's group.
"The power to harvest Energon from any source on the palm of my hands." Starscream said.
they roll their optics.
'He sure likes to talk.' Soundwave thought.
Soundwave then turns on his "Megatron/Starscream speech" playlist the sounds of J-pop rock fill his head.
He then leans against a wall and subtly bobs his head.
The Vehicons listen to the SIC speech.
"Soon I shall use the harvester to gather as much Energon as the ship can carry." Starscream said.
No one says anything.
'No surprise that no one respects him.' Soundwave thought.
Then a blast of Energon hit Starscream's left wing.
He lets out a scream of pain.
'And that's my que.' Soundwave thought.
He opens a groundbridge back to the warship before walking through it.
Once he saw there was no one else he opened another groundbridge.
'Alright, I just need to place this in the Autobot base.' Soundwave thought.
Soundwave hands the real harvester to Laserbeak.
Obeying his master Laserbeak soars into the portal for a second before coming back out without the harvester.
Soundwave then closed the groundbridge and destroyed any evidence.
'Alright that's one problem taken care of.' He thought.
'Many more to deal with.' he added
He then walks back to the bridge
The double agent was back to work trying to unlock the Iacon data.
A few hours later, he hears Starscream's anger filled scream.
'Here we go again.' Soundwave thought.
"I was so close and that overgrown Autobot destroyed the harvester.!" Starscream shouted.
'Bulkhead destroyed a fake.' Soundwave thought
"I will have my revenge!" Starscream said.
'As the humans say that's a dollar in the jar.' Soundwave thought.
"I should have terminated Bulkhead when I had the chance!" Starscream said.
'The only reason you terminated Cliffjumper was because he was already badly injured and was being held back by two Vehicons, if I had help then you would been be the one who be offline.' Soundwave thought
Soundwave harbored great regret over not being able to help his fellow Autobot.
'If I'm given the chance I will end you screamer!' Soundwave thought
He quietly clenched his servos.
"Knockout! What is our lord status?" Starscream ordered.
"Still no response but plenty of brain activity." Knockout said.
"Good, see which troops need your attention." Starscream told the medic
"Very well." Knockout said.
The Red mech went to the med bay.
'I still can't believe that Megatron survived.' Soundwave thought.
'There's goes the Decepticon civil war.' Soundwave thought.
His thoughts then turn to his other minicons.
'Frenzy, Rumble, and Ravage if I had only listened to you three back on Cybertron, I still can't believe Lugnut was able to restore Megatron after Metroplex smashed him to pieces.' Soundwave thought while remembering the single tract processor had not only restored Megatron's body but brought the Decepticon warlord back to life.
'But now all I can do is move forward.' He thought.
On Cybertron.
We see a figure walking around on the surface of the planet.
They walk slowly as sparks come out of their panther-like body.
'Soundwave please still be online.' The figure thought.
They found a Decepticon stasis pod.
'A stasis pod? I wonder who's in it.' The figure thought.
The figure activated the pod's lights to a Cybertronian close to Megatron's height with bug like teeth.
'Great an Insecticon.' The figure thought.
'But there should be some Energon powering it.' the figure thought.
The figure examines the pod before finding what it was looking for.
'Score!' the figure thought.
The figure then starts feeding on the Energon.
'That was good better high tail it before that bug wakes up.' the figure thought.
With that thought in mind the figure turns around and runs away from the pod.
The pod opens letting the Insecticon awaken.
The mech shakes its head before taking in its surroundings.
Then it heard a sound.
It turns to the direction of the noise.
It saw a small metal creature with four legs and a large head.
The Insecticon immediately backed away in fear.
Then the small Cybertronian creature saw the Insecticon.
It then opened its mouth to reveal buzzsaw-like teeth.
The Insecticon then transformed and tried to fly away.
Only for more of the small creatures to appear in front of it.
They then covered the Insecticon.
The mech lets out a scream of agony as the creatures start devouring it.
'Better that con than me.' The figure thought.
