Thank you so much to shriramosokan and Justanotherlesbian5 for leaving reviews. shriramosokan gave suggestions for changes I can make to what happened in the Ben 10 timeline, which I will definitely take into consideration, maybe not for this fanfiction, but I think for another one I'm planning for the future. Justanotherlesbian5, it's nice to meet another fan of PopCross Studios. I too am kind of a late comer to the channel, I've only been following for a couple years now, I think less than you, but I spend a lot of time on YouTube and tend to remember stuff that interests me. It's nice to hear I was able to deliver something you were already wanting, and I think you'll like what I have planned for the furure of this story. But anyway, let's finish this starting episode that, let's face it, has kinda overstayed it's welcome.
While the crowds of people and aliens were running away, Ben and Kayla ran toward the threat.
Floating in the sky was a humanoid figure with pale white skin marked with black, horrific red eyes, and a tall fin on his head. He wore a predominantly black cloak with white and red accents. Peeking from underneath the cloak were clothes of similar style and coloring. But the the strangest thing about his appearance was a sleek black mechanical arm with a red glow. As the two heroes approach, he held a laser lance he had just stolen toward his mechanical arm, and the fluid writhing tech reached out to grab and absorb the alien tech, laughing as he did this, then looking down evily at Ben 10 and Bio-Mech Kayla.
"Well Tennyson, you decided to get some help? Does this mean I'm a high tier threat now?"
"Dude, if you were, I'd have to call up Dresden after I take you down, and trust me, you don't want that."
Kayla didn't know who Dresden was, but she was riding a high from being in a real superhero battle. So she went on with the banter, saying "From what Ben tells me, you're less of a threat than the dragon I fought one time, that that thing was just a big dumb animal!"
Siphon glared down at Kayla, then noticed Charlie on her arm, and his snarl turned to an evil grin. "Well well well, looks like you've got a little robot thingy too, I wonder what would happen if I absorbed that!"
Charlie chimed in, "Actually bio-mechs can't absorb other bio-mechs or really anything that's alive or has artificial intelligence though if I could absorb an AI and instantly learn everything it knows that would be pretty cool."
Ben looked at Charlie and Kayla skeptically. "You guys need to work on your banter."
"Hey, we're still new to this,"
Ben just laughed, but Siphon scowled. His bio-mech arm transformed into a blaster and fired a crimson enrgy bolt at the two- or I guess three- heroes.
Ben and Kayla leaped to sides to dodge the blast, which left a smoking crater in the street. Ben began spinning his runrs and in a flash of light, transformed into a lean humanoid alien somewhst resembling a roadrunner. He had silver plating on his torso, limbs, and bird-like head, as well as a tail of the same color. The circle of green Omnitrix runes glowed on hos left shoulder.
"BRIGHTSPEED!" Ben called as his body began to glow. He raced up the side of a nearby building at at speeds that would make him near imperceptible were it not for the glowing neon he trailed behind him, and in less than a second, leapt right into.the floating villain and knocjed him to.the ground. Siphon didn't even get a chance to react.
Charlie called out "Way to go Be-" but Siphon had thrown Brightspeed off of him and fired another blast towards Kayla and Charlie. Charlie just managed to lift Kayla's arm that he was on to block the shot, then he shifted into a blaster himself and fired back.
Siphin just started floating back into the air when a multicolored photon blast came from the side and knocked him into another building. Brightspeed leapt out of nowhere to deliver a powerful kick, but this time Siphon reacted in time, and a bolt of red lightning erupted from his bio-mech fingertips, blasting Ben back into the other building. He fell to the street, twitching somewhat but got back up.
"You never know when to give up, do you Tennyson?" the villain mocked him.
"Oh, I know exactly when to give up- and that's NEVER!" a blue energy net suddenly came from the side and wrapped around Siphon, trapping him. Kayla and Charlie walked over to Ben as Charlie shifted from the net launcher into a different kind of cannon.
"Thanks you two," Ben congratulated them in Brightspeed's distorted, chirpy voice.
"No problem," Kayla replied, "just gotta use the disrupter disk to get the bio-mech off of him and-"
"NO!" Siphon ripped open the energy net, which promptly dissolved it into nothing. He fired another blast at the two, but Ben threw up a neon forcefield to protect the three of them. When the smoke from the blast cleared, Siphon was gone.
"Dang it" Kayla cried, stomping her foot, "Sorry Ben, we should've fired the disk onto him right away, then he wouldn'tve gotten awa-"
"It's okay Kayla, relax," Ben said, shifting back into human. "We all make mistakes, even those of up who have been doing this for years. The important thing," he was looking into Kayla's eyes seriously now, "is making sure you learn from your mistakes so that you do better next time, alright?"
Kayla took a deep breath, then smiled. "Yeah, okay. Thanks, Ben."
"No problem. Now let's go hunt that guy down."

Charlie activated the new bio-mech tracker that Blukic and Driba had let him absorb, and when he got a signal, they all raced toward it. Eventually, they followed the trail to a manhole, and realized that Siphon was hiding in the sewer. So they climbed down, and with Charlie lighting the way, they kept on the trail.
"So..." Kayla said, trying to start a conversation, "you the only superhero in this universe?"
Ben shook his head, "Nah, there's also my cousin Gwen, who's secretly Lucky Girl, my pal Kevin who has these crazy absorbing powers, he's also Gwen's boyfriend, and normally I'd have my partner Rook helping me with missions like this, but he's on his home planet Revannah celebrating the harvets feast with his family. I probably would have called Gwen and Kevin to help me with Bio-Mech Siphon if you two didn't show up."
"So you're partner's an alien? What's that like?"
"It's pretty cool actually. His species, Revannaghanders, are naturally more acrobatic than humans, and Rook in particular is one hell of a fighter. He's been through every martial arts class they offer at the plumber academy."
Charlie chimed in "Hey about that why do you guys call yourselves the plumbers is it some kind of metaphor in your universe do you guys also fix sinks in your spare time is it a code or-"
"You really talk fast, doncha buddy? The name actually started in the early seventeen hundreds, with the founder, George Washington."
"The first President of the United States founded a secret space-cop organization?"
"Well, back then their focus was on ghosts and zombies and stuff, not aliens, but kinda ya. Me and Rook traveled back in time once and met him, and apparently at that time they called themselves something else, the... plume-bars or something like that, I don't really remember, a-"
"Woah woah woah, back up a sec, did you just say you time traveled!?"
"Yup. Buncha times actually, but, that's a whole can of worms to explain. Anyway, I had always known them as the Plumbers of to that point, so I suggested to Washington that he change the name. In a way, it kind of is a metaphor. Our job is to fix the leaks in society, the way a plumber would fix leaky pipes."
"Wow. Time travel. I gotta hear more about your life."
"Yeah it sounds really awesome how does that time travel thing work also we're near the signal now."
Ben and Kayla eased into battle stances as they carefully peaked past the last corner. They could just barely see Siphon, inside what looked like an abandoned sibway station. He was trying out different weapons on the various junk in the old station.
"He's training," Ben whispered to Kayla, "trying to get stronger."
Kayla nodded, "What do we do? With all the tech he's absorb, his bio-mech is probably a lot stronger than Charlie. No offense," She said, looking down at Charlie.
"None taken Kayla but you have a point how are we gonna beat him?"
Ben thought for a moment, then smiled. "Sounds like what you need," he said, looking at Charlie, "Is an Upgrade."
He stepped out from behind the corner and called "Hey! Fin-head!"
Siphon whirled around as Ben spun his runes and transformed into a humanoid black blob with a green underbelly, circit lines over his body, and a metallic shine over his body. The Omnitrix runes were on his face inside a circle Kayla took to be his eye.
"UPGRADE!" He called in a voice that sounded like Ben's with a digitalized filter, then turned to Kayla and suddenly wrapped his amorphous arms around Charlie. The black-and-green pattern covered the startled and confused bio-mech,and Ben began merging into Charlie, his additional mass covering the rest of Kayla's body until she was enveloped in a full robot suit.
"Whoa," Kayla said, just as exited as she was confused, "You weren't kidding when you said upgrade."
Siphon fired two blasts as Upgraded Bio-Mech Kayla, but all they did was leave slight cracks in the suit, both of which promptly sealed up. Their left arm then shifted into their own cannon, far langer and more impressive than before, and fired a cannon of energy that blasted Siphon through the sewer wall.
But before they could celebrate, Siphon got back up, sneering, and blasted the ceiling above the three heroes, causing it to collapse on top of them. The suit protected Kayla from the rocks, and was strong enough to lift them out of them, but Siphon had flown out through the hole he nade above them.
Kayla was about to ask "What do we do now?" but before she could, the feet of the suit transformed into rocket thrusters, and a pair of wings sprouted from her back.
"Okay, this is just too cool!"
They flew out of the sewer and followed Siphon into the air. As soon as he realized he was being followed, Siphon turned around to fire another bolt of crimson lightning at them, but the suit's arm lifted up, and a lightning rod grew out of it, catching and absorbing the bolt then redirecting it through the other arm back at Siphon.
The bolt struck him, and he screamed, falling to the ground. Upgraded Bio-Mech Kayla shot an energy net from their hand to catch him, then they all lowered to the ground.
Ben unmerged with Charlie, who shrank back to normal size, shifted into a cannon and launched the disrupter disk. The disk latched onto Siphon's bio-mech, then...nothing.
"How long does this usually take?" Ben asked them.
Charlie answered him "It depends on how strong his connection with his bio-mech is it could be a few more seconds or a few more minutes or oh hey it's working,"
He was right; The bio-mech started writhing, and it slowly crawled off Siphon's arm. Kayla shot a containment net onto the bio-mech. Ben transformed back and started tapping his runes. Two green rings flew off his arm and wrapped around Siphon's body, lifting him into the air.
"Thanks again you two," Ben said, holding out his arm to support the suspended villain. "Now I gotta take this guy back to the Null void. He may not be worphy of Backcells, but he's still trouble."
Kayla nodded. "And we gotta yake this bio-mech to the Bronze zone, where we keep all the others we find."
Ben held out his hand. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Bio-Mech Kayla."
She shook it. "You too, Ben 10."
Charlie charged up the dimention hop, and our two- or three, depending on how you look at it- multiversal heroes went there seperate ways.
At least, for now.
Okay! We're finally done! Ben 10 fans may have noticed that I used an alien not canon to the show. Brightspeed is an alien I first heard of on 5 Years Later Wiki, though it was originally created by someone called Captain Eon. I thought he was cool, so I used him. Some of the aliens I referenced in the last chapter are also from 5yl, most of them non-canon.
Anyway, I'm going to be skipping some episodes of Multiverse Tales, solely because they aren't really changed from the original. I'll be skipping The Sci-5, The Beast Chronicler, Astra and the Secret Knights, The Kaiju Slayer, The Dragon Fusion Brawl, The Goopy Games, and, unfortunately, Bio-Mech Benny Sharp Escapes the Infinite Ikea. (If you couldn't tell by my profile name, I am a HUGE fan of Benny Sharp) So when we rejoin, we will be looking at Battle for Beast World Pt. 1, and I tried to stick to the original script as close as possible cause, why mess eith perfection?
