Back at Hexside's School of Magic and Demonics, Bump, Lilth, Viney and the Blight sibling trio stood in the middle of the school's gymnasium as every student aside from Willow and Gus who were off talking to the Bat Queen with Eda, was seated in the bleachers before them as the staff were seated alongside them.

Tapping the microphone a few times, Bump began. "Students and staff of Hexside, I called this assembly to discuss an important issue. One that I'm pretty sure that you all are probably guessing right now."

This got some students murmuring amongst each other wondering what their principal was talking about as he continued to talk.

"But just in case some of you don't know..." Tears began to well up in his eyes, that caused him to push the mic back to wipe them from his eyes before he took a few deep breaths to regain his composure. "Luz. The new human student. Our fellow schoolmate. Has been captured by Emperor Belos and his Coven during Eda the Owl Lady's petrification ceremony."

This shocked a few of the students in the gym. While there had been a few rumors about that going around Bonesborough, to have it confirmed was nothing short of bone chilling.

Lilth then took over. "Yes, what Principal Bump said is true." She closed her eyes as she continued. "Luz gave herself up so I, my sister Edalyn, and King could escape from the Emperor's Coven. Titan, who knows what he's doing to her."

"Let's hope that we can rescue her before it's too late." Bump said as he began to cry a bit.

The group of students began to talk amongst themselves with the captured Luz being the main topic. While the human wasn't exactly well known to them until the Grom incident, she was still one of them.

However, one student had something to say.

"Well, if you ask me. I think that human loser did the right thing." said a certain three eyed student.

Everyone looked over to the right and saw Boscha on her scroll, looking rather smug as she put her scroll down before continuing. "Think about it, everyone. That human has been causing trouble all over Bonesborough." She began to list off what that annoying human had done to her and by extension the school in general. "Thanks to her, she scared me by bringing that house to life one time, and because of her, I got trapped in a different body for a whole day before the Owl lady turned me back the next morning! And should I bring up the time that she ruined Grom for me when she allowed the Fear Bringer to get loose!" She ranted, making everyone begin to think about those memories. "Also, I don't know why, but I have this suspicion that she was the one who brought that Basilisk here, I briefly lost my magic due to that!" She then laughed a bit before she finished. "It was only a matter of time before her humanly weirdness caught up with her and the rest of us end up suffering for it. She's made a big mistake for coming here because of everything's gone upside down in so many ways."

As everyone was thinking back to all the memories that the three-eyed demon brought up, Lilth was silent during the three-eyed bully's rant as it brought back memories of what happened after her duel with Eda that endangered Luz's life in the process.

Shaking off those memories, Lilth told herself. "No, no, Lilth. That was days ago, you know the truth."

Edric and Emira and even Principal Bump were disgusted by what Boscha had said. The nerve of her. What right did she have to say that Luz deserved what was happening to her?

However, everyone was silent someone spoke.

"Is that so, Boscha?"

Everyone looked towards Amity, who was silent during everything that was being said at the assembly. Boscha's speech towards finally made her break her silence. She cannot for the life of her believe that Boscha said actually that. While she's known Boscha for most of her life since her parents forced her to break off her friendship with Willow, she's known the three-eyed brat to be mean towards basically anyone she saw as inferior without any consequences since she's the Grudgby captain and was known to be verbally abrasive and only resorting to bullying when she felt her pride being threatened.

Then again, Amity couldn't help but feel partially responsible for Boscha's behavior as she also bullied those three as well. The green haired witch figured that Boscha was just following her example and stuck with it even after all these years. Thank Titan that Luz helped her out during the whole amnesiac Willow situation where she and Amity entered Willow's mind to repair the damage after the youngest Blight accidently fried her friend's memories to cover up the fact that they were once friends. If she didn't, Willow would've never found out the reason as to why Amity stopped being her friend and she and Amity would've never begun to patch things up.

Hearing that speech come out of the mouth of the three eyed student made the youngest Blight daughter finally have enough of her former friend's nonsense.

Marching up to her, the Blight grabbed her former friend by the collar of her uniform and yanked her off the bleacher that she was sitting on. Boscha was surprised at this. While she was usually used to Amity being rather snarky to her, she never got physical with her. What's Blight going to do to her? Judging by the rather calm yet rather furious look that Amity was giving to her, Boscha felt like this wouldn't end well for her.

"Now let me give you a dose of reality to dismantle that fantasy of yours." Amity began calmly with a hint of anger. "You say that Luz made a mistake by coming here? You have got a lot of nerve saying that!"

The youngest of the Blight trio then began to address not just her former friend but everyone else that was in the gymnasium with a silent fury that would be hot enough to burn the sun.

"Now that isn't just to you Boscha but the rest of you too." She began addressing her fellow students. "Before I continue, I'll say this. Yes, ever since Luz showed up things have strange even by Demon Realm standards." She admitted before continuing. "But Luz made absolutely no mistake coming here!"

She looked up at her fellow students as listed off the human's accomplishments as many as she could remember. "If it wasn't for her, I never would have realized the potential that she had as a human witch in training despite not having natural magic like we do because of that witches duel at that convention."

This got some of the students to talk as some of them were at that convention where Luz challenged Amity to that witches' duel.

Amity gave them a few moments to talk before she continued. "If it wasn't for her, my brother and sister would have posted my private diary entries all over Hexside and if they never would've tried to make amends with me!"

This caused the other Blight siblings to blush in rather less embarrassment and more shame. They remember that maybe they haven't seen the nicest of siblings to Amity and to hear what they've nearly did to one of their own has caused them to feel guilty. Granted they're still trying to make it up to her but still, it hurt them.

Amity could almost feel the shameful looks on her siblings' faces. So, she addressed them. "It's okay, you two. I'm over that. There's no need to feel guilty."

The nodded with smiles as their sister turned back to Boscha. "If it wasn't for Luz, then that Slitherbeast would've eaten my brother and sister as well as the Owl Lady! If it wasn't for her and those former Detention Track students, that Basilisk that attacked our school never would have never been stopped and would've continued to eat magic of other schools and not to mention that we would've been magicless for Titan knows how long! And just so this information sinks into that stubborn head of yours, Luz had nothing to do with that! She told me so herself!"

The green haired witched then said something that would forever shock her fellow students. "If it wasn't for her, I would've never have tried to patch things up with Willow!"

Upon hearing her "friend" say that particular sentence had finally caused the three eyed girl to speak up. "Why are you defending that human so much?"

This got everyone wondering as well. To most of them whenever they saw Luz and Amity together, they were at each other's throats for some unknown reason at worst, and for others the two were hanging out with Willow and Gus most of the time at best, much to their confusion. It wasn't until Grom that whatever tension between that the two had for each other has mellowed out.

What Amity said next was surprising.

"It's because I LOVE her, Boscha!" Amity shouted into the three-eyed bully's face. "I've been in love with her for a while now that it hurts knowing that I'm unable to tell her how I feel!"

This surprised the students greatly. Did Amity really have feelings for the human student? Guess there was more to the green haired witch aside from her pride and competitive nature than any of them had previously thought.

"You... love her?" Boscha said in shock but if one paid attention, they would notice the slightest bit of hurt in her voice. The tri-eyed student wasn't even aware of it. "But she's a human."

"Yes, she is but then again, who cares if she is?" Amity asked.

Boscha then began to stutter a bit. "S-She's a human who doesn't belong here. She's j-just a loser who is just a magnet for trouble! Why would you love someone like that Amity? She's beneath you!"

That set Amity off more as she increased her grip on Boscha's uniform a bit as she spoke. "I love her because she helped me. Even when I was mean to her and even misjudged her a few times, she didn't give up on me. She tried to be my friend even when I tried to push her away. Since she's shown that humans aren't as incapable of doing magic as I thought. She inspired me to not be who my parents want me to be, and you've seen how my parents are."

That was true to the 3-eyed student. During her childhood of being Amity's "friend", Amity's and Boscha's parents, especially their mothers were rather competitive and often made their kids compete in things to one up their rival families.

"She helped me to try and patch things up with Willow, someone I was forced to distance myself from due to my parents influence. They were going to make sure that Willow would never be enrolled into Hexside." Amity continued, shocking Boscha greatly.

Wait a Titan dang second, that's why Amity bullied the plant user all this time, it was because her parents forced her to. Granted, Boscha knew the Blights were a rich and powerful family due to their industry in Abomination based technology so it would stand to reason as to why they had some influence among certain people.

Boscha may not like Willow but even the three eyed bully knew that making sure she would never be enrolled in Hexside just because she was friends with Amity was a step too far even for her standards.

"They would go that far?" Boscha said as she was at a loss for words.

"Well, my mom would while my dad would just go along with it all as long as it didn't interfere with whatever abomination type of tech that he creates in his lab." Amity admitted with a bit of venom in her voice at her mother's self-entitlement and greediness and her father's apathy and seemingly uncaring attitude to it all. "I hated myself for verbally bullying Willow all that time. I knew when to stop. You didn't Boscha that's why I stopped being friends with you. If you continue to be this unrelentingly horrible than you'll lose any more of the people you care about. That is if you have people you care about that is. Believe me that's even worse than losing your worthless reputation."

"Worthless!" Boscha snapped as she smacked Amity's hand off her. "Reputation is everything to me unlike you who just threw it in the trash during Grudgby season! It's the whole reason I got to where I'm at now!"

"Oh, sure just step on everyone who' in your way. That's a sure-fire way to build a reputation." Amity said, rolling her eyes before asking. "Then tell me. What friends do you have in your corner, huh? Not Grudgby teammates, I mean actual friends!" Amity asked.

"I have Skara, Amelia and Cat." Boscha said smugly. "They're my friends. They know not to cross me, and they know their place in our society!"

"Know their place, is that right? Really then let me ask you this then." Amity began. "If they were to abandon you because of your controlling and unpleasant nature, what will you do then?"

That question caused Boscha and the whole gym to go dead silent. The bully didn't know what to say. She was so focused on being on top of Hexside's social ladder by any means that she never stopped and ask herself such questions seeing them as unworthy of answering as she thought they didn't matter.

That question seemed to put Boscha in an unresponsive state of her mind as Lilth addressed everyone else. "Look I know that going against the Emperor's Coven is insane. I admit it's insane, but Luz, one of Hexside's very students' life is at stake, and I know what Belos, and the other Coven Heads are capable of. It's like going up against a Titan itself. If some of you don't want to fight none of us will blame you."

This got the students talking among each other as they wondered if they had the determination in them to actually go against the emperor of the Isles and his crew of powerful Coven Heads.

This went on for a bit before one spoke up.

"I'm in!" said a girl with a crescent moon-shaped head.

"So will I!" Skara said as she stood up.

"I want to help too!" said a male student with fangs and one eye.

Most of the other students were expressing their desire to help out as they stood up and exclaimed that they want to help rescue the human as well. Same for the staff as they decided to help out in order to protect the students.

"I guess I'll help out." said the abomination teacher who was short in stature and used an abomination to carry him around.

"Fine, I guess I'm in." said the potion teacher.

As more of Hexside's students and teachers expressed their desire to help, Amity, her siblings, Lilth, and Bump looked at each other and smiled. This was going to be tough but if they were to rescue Luz, they need to get as much help as they could get.

Everyone began to file out of the room all except for Boscha who's mind was still plagued with the question of her former friend.

And still tried to come up with answers for them.

Now that the Owl House crew has the backing of Hexside, the alliance of the B.A.T.S, and the assistance of the Bat Queen, all they need to do now is regroup and come up with a plan. That should be easy, right?

To be continued...
