Chapter Six: A Case of Mistaken Identity
The Lion Guard reached the aardvarks' home and saw Bobo continuing to throw rocks. As part of Janja's plan, Bobo was pretending to be Bongo.
Fuli: "Bongo, what are you doing?" She exclaimed, thinking Bobo was her best friend.
Bobo stopped throwing rocks and chittered happily, acting innocent just like Bongo.
Kion: "Bongo, you shouldn't be throwing rocks at the aardvarks' dens." He said sternly.
Male Aardvark: "Wait, you know this baby baboon? He asked, still angry, asked.
Fuli: "Yeah, he's my best friend, Bongo." She explained.
Female Aardvark: "Well then tell your friend to stop throwing rocks at our dens!" She demanded.
Beshte: "I'm sure this was just a misunderstanding." He said, trying to calm the situation.
Ono: "Yeah, Bongo doesn't usually act like this." He added.
Bunga: "Well, I mean, he is a baby. So I don't blame him." He said with a shrug.
Fuli: "Sorry, I promise my friend won't cause you any more trouble." She apologized.
Male Aardvark: "He'd better not," He grumbled, as he and the female aardvark retreated into their dens.
Fuli: "Bongo, you can't be throwing rocks at the aardvarks' dens. She said, trying not to scold Bongo too harshly.
Kion: "Bongo, you made the aardvarks upset." He added.
Beshte: "I'm sure it was just a mistake." He reassured.
Ono: "I mean, he is mischievous, but not usually this mischievous." He pointed out.
Bunga: "I'm sure it was nothing too bad." He said, trying to keep the mood light.
Bobo chittered happily as he tugged on Fuli's tail, acting all innocent.
Fuli: "Kion, I'll take Bongo back home to make sure he doesn't cause any more trouble." She suggested, feeling a bit frustrated.
Kion: "Good idea, Fuli. We'll meet you back at the lair." He agreed.
Fuli: *sighs* "Come on, Bongo, get on my back." She said, her voice tinged with disappointment.
Bobo climbed onto her back, continuing to pull her tail. Fuli just sighed as she took him back home.
