Chapter 3: Investigating the pawn shop
Following the instructions they made it to the pawn shop in the greed ring (Fitting for the selfish Celestial dragon) called " pawn shop of oddities as Moxxie and Millie used a spell to shrink them down to the size of a borrower so they won't be founded by as they snuck through a open window. Upon entering the store they started to look around as from the looks of the place they guessed that since the Celestial dragons have no wealth Sharlia had to sell stuff to make ends meet.
The two imps snuck into a room though a door and found it was a messy office and newspaper articles showing the shame of the other celestial dragons from scandles to being arrested or killed due to there arrogance, apparently Sharlia had enough brains to be careful in hell, but was still to lazy and prideful to clean after herself. It was abandoned but the two stayed quiet to not alert Sharlia. As the two rescue Aid society members climbed up on to a desk Millie saw there were receipts for children cloths and necessities to care for two children as well as a recent for a hearing "Olivers deaf so she must have bought one for Oliver" said Millie as Moxxie called whispered her over showing Millie a book that said 'first grade reader' as on the first page was a name and address "Its Olivers" said Moxxie "and if the receipts are correct as some of the cloths were little girls cloths that means…" started Millie as suddenly a cooko clock ran super loud startling Moxxie as the cookoo bird went in and out 4 times as Moxxie tried to run off but when he tried to run off the book caught on his tail trapping him as he tried to pull out out but fell off as his horns got decorated silly and his hair was ruffled as Millie laughed at him.
"What's so funny?" Asked Moxxie as Millie giggles some more "Your horns and hair" she said as Moxxie blushed and straightened them out but was failing "Allow me Mox" she said helping him out and cleaning up his hair "Better?" She asked as Mox smiled. Just then the phone rang loudly "Quck hide!" Yelled Moxxie as the two hid behind the curtain as it was just in time as a annoyed sinner came in, it was as husk described, it was a fusion of a imp and a Fish hellborn with dark green scales and shinny fines as ears and was a sharp fanged person dressed in a redickous dive suit and had orange hair tied up as a tall size and a pair of yellow goggles annoyed. This was as she grumbled and was agressive "Who could be freaking heck calling me this time if its that Debt collector Carlos got on his case I will kill him "She grabbed the phone and answer it "WHAT DO YOU WANT I'M BUSY!" She yelled
Voice sounding like a rougher Moxie: Hello , sheesh I know your dumb brother was stupid to get in trouble with Valatino for trying to steal his hookers but it ant me
"Ah Crimson good, did you finally have the diamond!?" She asked perking up
Crimson: Ahhh no, its about the two children
"*Frown* what is it about those two children? I told you to keep an eye on them three months ago!" She yelled having kidnapped Oliver for his size and Mi, while she was also small she was the child of a really rich and a really powerful sin.
Crimson: No I got the kids under control, though they skimp on the meals I give him not trusting me since I think he passed his hate on me to his daughter, she kept using her magic to burn my tail and Oliver keeps pulling my hair and the other night I saw them both putting messages into bottles
That made the former celestial dragons eyes narrow "Bottles?" She asked getting agressive.
Crimson: I think they want to go home, I mean the diamond supposedly may not exist and Mockingbirds parents will give everything to keep there daughter safe.
"Its not just that what is it about the two sending messages for help?" Asked Sharlia her temper rising.
Crimson: well you see I was checking to see if they will still be in the mood to eat, I mean they cant keep up this hunger strike and I saw the little hybrid writing a message putting in the bottle and then going out to the window and threw it
"And why didnt you stop them why…?" Asked Sharisa
Crimson *Sheepish tone* Ummm, I didnt thin about it
"YOU IMBICLE! YOU SELFISH IDOT MAFIA IMP! I ASSIGN YOU A SIMPLE TASK AND YOU COULDNT DO IT ON YOUR OWN! Fine since you are as worthless as my stupid brother who had the idiot idea to mess with that dumb overlord Valatinos whores and my more stupid father to mess with that fat tub of lard of a sin Mammon you need my help , prepare the living room for me, I am taking the next flight over to the swamp of devils bayou AND DONT YOU BREAK ANYTHING IN MY HOUSE!" She yelled slamming the phone on the receiver.
On the other side of the phone a imp that looked like Moxxie but with narrower eyes dress as a mafia boss frowned as he heard a dial tone annoyed "Ugh by , the slut she like the rest of her stupid family are just as stupid as they were in life but at least she is good to manipulate to get that diamond and all of Asmodus fortunes and this time I will succeed in getting his fortunes.
Back at the pawn shop
The annoyed Sharlia put down a suitcase nearby as Moxxie and Millie were hiding as she stormed to get her things to pack in there "Mox this isnt good, we need to go with her" said Millie as Moxxie nodded as they were still hiding behind the curtains "Right come on we better get in the suitcase" said Moxxie as the two imps got out of hiding to rush to the suitcase to get there, the greed imp kew that where ever Sharlia is going that is where Mi and Oliver are hiding. Moxxie managed to get in first and Millie was about to get in but yelps and hides as she saw Sharlia coming back with some things forcing the wrath imp to hide behind a stapler as the former Celestial dragon mumbled. "Honestly that stupid low born, how far did I fall to work with such trash, that stupid straw hat why did such a filthy pirate get accepted to heaven me and my family *Forces down the cloths* are the top rank in all of world and we lose all our wealth as come commoners! Ahh! And that idiot brother! Foolish father! I hope they enjoy there provity!" She complained as she stuffed her cloths right on a uncomfortable Moxxie as once the evil sinner got all her stuff in it, she got a jacket near by to put it on as Millie chose this time to quickly rush over to the suitcase get moxxie into it but she wounded up dropping as she was forced to hide as Sharlsia came over as she tries to close the lid of the suit case. However the spoiled brat didnt care or know that the suitcase has a lot of cloths in It and a imp making it hard to close "Oh for the love off…Why wont this dumb suitcase close!" She barked as she stubbornly tried to close it all the way as she sat on it until it closed as she picked it up and prepares to leave mumbling all the while annoyed as Millie grabbed onto the strap of the suitcase poking out
However she lost hold and fell to the floor as she quickly gave chase still as a borrower so Sharlia dosent notice but didnt matter as she was in a big hurry to leave. Once outside the ex Noble tossed the suitcase with her things and Moxxie in the back before climbing into the drivers seat as Millie rushed out and got into the car before Sharlia closed the door as soon as she did she slammed on the gas petal nearly crushing Millie who was hiding under it. Soon the foul sinner drove out of the driveway and made a sharp right turn knocking down trash cans with no care, which she didnt care as she felt entitled for being a celestial dragon!
Millie meanwhile opens up the suit case and got in there with Moxxie helping her out as Sharlia drove past a truck that was in her way honking her car horn angrily "GET OUT OF MY WAY YOU ROAD HOG!" She yelled at the driver as the spoiled rich girl didnt notice she was the one doing the 'road hogging as she turns and yelps approaching a ditch as she didnt stop in time as she crashed through the barricades as she fell into the ditch herself but she was a sinner on a mission as she drove through it like mad as the passangers (unknown to her) held on tight as if there lives depended on it as Sharlia got out of the ditch and took a sharp left turn unaware that her suitcase fell out of the car in the progress as it flew towards a lamp post and hit it causing all the stuff as well as Moxxie and Millie to fall out.
The two imps got out of the suitcase safe and sound and watched as they saw Sharlia drive off like mad down the road. "Well that was scary" said Moxxie as he was a bit shaken being tossed like that "But we know where we need to go to the Devils bayou to save Mi and Oliver" said Millie as Moxxie nods even if he may come face to face to his…past they need to get to the bayou but they need to find away.
Authors note: Well its learned that was the kidnapper and I am really gonna make sure this celestial dragon gets a comeuppance for all the horrid things she did to her slaves as marked how she became a fusion of who she despised as a lower class and a "Lower species" as her hell form.
The next chapter Moxxie and millie must find another way to get to Devils bayou and meets a pilot and his crackajack team who is is ready to help them out.
