Chapter five: A new world.
"You didn't win. You only destroyed the shadows of them." Leo tells them with a slight victorious smile on his face.
Those words give Donnie a bad gut feeling.
"Your world is ours!" Raph tells them confidently with a wide smirk stretching across his face. He glances to Leo who gives him a nod of confirmation.
The two raise one hand each towards the sky. Their hands are the opposite hand that the other holds up so their hands are right next to each other.
A shimmering line moves up the sky as if splitting it into two. Two glowing balls appear like two balls of light on either side. The sky flashes and now it has changed. The sky is split in two with a line shimmering like a moving snake between each side like a border between the two; When there is movement more or less of that side is shown. On the left side of the sky is the sun and the day sky. On the right side of the sky is the full moon with visible stars and the night sky. The sky now leaves half of the land in day and the other half is left in night; the border between the two can be seen on the ground moving like it does in the sky.
The two turtles lower their hands once this is complete. They are sanding with Leo in the day and Raph in the night. Only to walk to switch sharing a smile as they pass each other. Showing that Raph will rule the day and Leo the night.
The general tries shooting at Raph only for a red crystal to shoot up catching the bullets.
The crystal vanishes, with what looks like small lines of steam that fade away, making the bullets hit the floor.
Raph stares at the general with the smirk still on his face. "Nice try." He stomps a foot down making a more burnt spot in the ground.
A crystal shoots up from under the general impaling him all the way up to exit out of his skull.
"Go!" Donnie calls hurrying away with Mikey, April, and Casey hurrying to follow.
As they run more crystals shoot up on either side as if the land will now have crystals here and there. Red on the day side and blue on the night side. The same color as the twos masks.
On the side of the night icicles drip down from the trees that all turn to pine trees, frost snd ice patches appear like ice patches on the rocks, and while there is still some grass left that side causes most of it to die away to a more rocky and dirt type ground.
On the side of the day the grass grows a strong healthy green becoming even more grassy, bushes and any tree that isn't a pine tree are the trees that grow there. It has more plants that seem to be allowed to grow compared to the night side.
Donnie gets those that followed him to the lair hoping for even just a moment of safety. He doesn't doubt that they are going to need to move away from this lair. He just isn't sure where they should go since Raph and Leo know these tunnels well.
Theres still a chance that they still have those memories making it not as safe as it used to be.
Donnie plays with his own hands as he starts to try to figure out what they're supposed to do.
"What has happened?" Splinters voice makes Donnie almost jump out of his skin.
Donnie isn't sure how to tell Splinter all that has happened. He lets out a heavy breath after hearing Mikey sob from the memories of it all. He tries to explain it all as best as he can even as his voice trembles a little.
Splinter is quiet for a few moments after the explanation is over. "I see." He glances away looking thoughtful.

Leo and Raph walk, their footsteps leaving frozen and burnt steps respectively, to a spot to look over the city as the people are panicking trying to figure out what's happening. They stare down at what will now be theirs smiling as they each plan out how they want it done. They move and arm out so their hands are out with the palms facing the ground, and their fingers pointing at the city.
While some people manage to run others are not so lucky being grabbed by either a blue or red mist. When it falls they are now transformed and clearly under the turtles control now.
Those that were hit with the red mist have red crystals growing out of their bodies here and there, two red crystals on the neck with one for each side, red crystal clump patches where it's like skin was turned crystal, red lightning bolt like lines going from the middle of their chest to over their body, one line for each body part though the neck and face area have two, wrapping around that body part, for the face the lines go to either side then loop back on the cheeks before going to the back of the head just under the eyes, and their eyes have changed so the whites are not a green color with their iris and pupils still visible.
Those that were hit with the blue mist have the same type of lines as those hit with he red mist just slightly different, mainly on the face where each line will go up the cheek all the way up above and below the eye as seen on the eyelid then to the head, icy patches on skin as if the skin has been frozen in parts, hands frozen in ice yet still able to move though the feet don't get any ice, a single blue crystal poking out of their head like a unicorn horn, and the whites of their eyes have changed to a blue color with their iris and pupils still visible.
Raph and Leo stare down at what they have done for a few moments. They lower their hands when the change is done.
"Well get any of those that escaped later." Raph snorts a little to which Leo nods his head.
"Not that they will have any choice but to accept the change."
The two head down to the city where they are met with those that are now under their control.
Raph laughs with a large grin on his face. "An army of our very own! We have been denied it for so long!" He gives Leo a kiss on the cheek which doesn't cause a reaction; despite that Raph can burn anything he touches and Leo can freeze it.
It's as if the two are protected from the other affecting their bodies through touch.
Leo turns to Raph at this with a warm smile. "I truly don't see why we can't still let them, well us, be mates."
"Well have plenty of fun times!" Raph slings an arm around Leo's shoulders getting a chuckle from the other. "But first." He moves away putting his hand on the ground and closing his eyes to concentrate. "There is something that I need to do."
Leo turns away with a knowing smile.
...
"We will leave this lair behind for now. It is clearly no longer safe." Splinter decides turning back to those that remain. "We will see if they do reside within their bodies in anyway. However there is a chance it could be a lost cause. Either way those two must be stopped. I just can tell that we are not prepared to face what has become of them."
"Where will we go?" Mikey questions with a sniffle. His teary eyes blink in concern at the rat mutant.
"I am not sure yet." Splinter admits with a slight sigh. "We just can't risk staying here right now. If they don't seem to remember it we can come back. I'd just rather we be a little more prepared to face them first."
Those that remain nod their heads falling quiet to go along with Splinters decision.
Donnie and Mikey split off to grab some stuff to take with them. They will be leaving their home after all.
Donnie looks around his lab as it feels rather strange to be leaving it after all these years. He turns his head when a knock comes to the door.
"Hey." Casey offers a smile moving closer to Donnie now that he has the turtle's attention. "Do you need any help? No matter what it is. I could also give you space if you really want it."
Before Donnie can answer that as just before he utters a word a shout is heard.
It's Mikey shouting Chompy's name.
Donnie and Casey rush out of the lab to see Mikey standing by a floating Chompy.
Chompy's eyes are glowing green he is suspended in the air as if being held by something or someone; his legs dangling like he is being held under what could be considered his armpits.
Mikey starts to reach out towards Raphs pet even as the others hurry to the living room.
"Stop Mikey!" Donnie warns making Mikey pull his hand away.
They can only watch as a red mist starts to glow around Chompy before he vanishes like he was sucked into a portal.
"What just happened?" April questions in shock.
"I wish I knew." Donnie swallows harshly worried what this could mean for them later.

Chompy appears by Raph, who opens his eyes standing up to look at the small creature when this happens, where his body grows quickly and changes. He is much much larger now being about the size of an elephant. He has long thick sharp black claws on his feet like a cats though are always out, his shell is smooth with red crystals poking out going around the shell in lines still showing plenty of shell, no crystals on the underside of his shell, red crystals going down his spine starting at the top of his head with a space in between each, it even goes down his shell to follow the spine, the top of the tail has a line down the middle of red spikes that look like punk clothing spikes, two sharp teeth at the corners of his mouth poke out, and the whites of his eyes turning green with his iris and pupil still visible. He huffs out smoke from his nostrils after his transformation is complete.
"I knew that he would be a great addition." Raph makes Chompy lean down since he controls his every move. He pets the other's head. "He can be a ride animal for me. Plus a great weapon to use against any who dare to stand in my way." He chuckles with evil heard in the laughs tone.
"Shall we head to where those that got away likely went? They are good fighters so they'll likely become a threat. Better get rid of them now." Leo suggests though Raph smirks at him as if having a better idea.
Raph lowers his hand letting Chompy raise his head. "Let them run." He tells Leo who listens to his suggestion. "Makes it more entertaining this way. They won't win. They don't even know what they're up against. Plus I don't want it to get too boring too quickly. Don't you want some entertainment by leaving them alive for now?"
"Hm. I suppose you're right. We can let them go for now." Leo turns to Chompy who dips his head in offer of pets. He pets the creature. "It could indeed make it more interesting to track them down to take them out. However let's not take too long. The longer they are around the longer that they can gather information. Meaning that they might find some kind of advantage."
"I get it." Raph snorts as Leo finishes petting Chompy who moves his head away. He looks to their army. "For now let's test out these powers we got." He cracks his knuckles smiling to himself. He looks around before he spots one human who managed to get away not mind controlled. "And I think I just found the first victim." He gestures his hand towards the person who tries to run with a scream.
Chompy chases after the person even opening his mouth to release a beam of flames. His attack instantly killing the person by burning them to a crisp.
