Hey everyone! Once again, I have returned with an all-new chapter. Will the good ones be able to de-akumatize Miserphant? Let's see…

Chapter 3

As she walked home from the Eiffel Tower, Sabrina heard something and looked up at the sky. Miserphant was flying over her, with a now-blue Ladybug and Cat Noir leaping after him via the nearest rooftops. And, trapped in the clutches of his trunk, was a little boy who looked absolutely terrified. Was he the person named Yuri that Miserphant had mentioned earlier? She guessed it had to be.

When she saw the akumatized elephant was looking at the scenery in front of him and not what or who was below him, Sabrina took advantage of this and raced behind a building that the villain had already passed so that she could avoid being spotted. Only once she was in hiding did a very large lump manifest in her throat. Ladybug and Cat Noir were under Miserphant's control, and so was Chloe! This was awful—so awful that she began sobbing loudly. Thankfully not loud enough to get Miserphant's attention, but still pretty loudly.

What was she going to do now? What was all of Paris going to do now? Was Shadow Moth just going to emerge victorious? Was this the end of life as she knew it? Oh, this was terrible! Who was going to save the day now that Ladybug and Cat Noir were gone?

"Sabrina…"

Sabrina jumped. Someone—a girl—had just whispered her name. Curious, she crept around the building she'd hidden behind to see who it was, only to find nobody was there. However, there was something there that she hadn't expected to see: a collar necklace. Not just any collar necklace either; it was the Miraculous that Ladybug had given to her the day Chloe had gotten akumatized into Penalty! What was it doing here? Who had placed it there?

Nevertheless, Sabrina wasted no time in grabbing it and putting it around her neck. Once it was on, it transformed into a simple metallic orangish-silver necklace, and a ball of light flew out of it and spun many laps around her head. The light then stopped in front of her eyes, and turned into an orange and white dog-like creature that she recognized as Barkk, her kwami.

"It's a pleasure to see you again, Sabrina," greeted Barkk.

Sabrina smiled. "You too, Barkk. But I don't understand. How are you here if Ladybug and Cat Noir both got put under Miserphant's control?"

"I'm afraid I'm not allowed to tell you that information," said Barkk. "But I can tell you this: once you transform, you're to meet the other recruited members of the Miraculous superhero team at the Eiffel Tower so the team can borrow Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses and de-akumatize Miserphant."

"Got it," answered Sabrina. "Barkk, on the hunt!"

So, with that, Barkk was absorbed into the Dog Miraculous, and Sabrina transformed into her superhero form, Miss Hound. Once her metamorphosis was complete, she leapt onto the roof of the nearest building and started on her way back to the Eiffel Tower.

As she jumped from building to building, Miss Hound hoped that she'd be able to stop Miserphant and save Chloe, Ladybug, and Cat Noir. After all, the last time she'd been near that animal, she'd been captured quite easily! Would being in her superhero form lessen her chances of being captured again?

She inhaled deeply. She could only hope it would.

Nessa and Bongo stood in the alley together, waiting for Ladybug and Cat Noir to de-evilize Golias. However, while Nessa was patient, Bongo was not. In fact, right at that moment, he was groaning and asking, "How much longer are they gonna take?"

"Be patient, Bongo," Nessa gently advised him. "I'm sure it won't be too much longer…"

"But we've been waiting here for such a long time! It doesn't take that long to deal with a bad guy!"

"No, but we don't know how powerful Golias got because of Shadow Moth. He could be so powerful that it'll take all day to turn him back to normal!"

"All day?" Bongo exclaimed. "We can't wait that long! I want them to de-evilize him now!" He sighed in exasperation. "At this point I'm starting to think we should go help them stop him."

"Help them?" Nessa asked, shocked and scared. "But baddies are scary! Besides, Ladybug told us to stay here."

"That doesn't mean we have to listen to her," Bongo told her, giving her a sneaky smirk. "Come on, don't you wanna help save Golias?"

"I do, but—"

"Then come on! Let's be brave and help Ladybug and Cat Noir save him."

And before Nessa could reply to that comment, Bongo started to bounce off. "Wait!" she called. "We don't even know where to find them!"

"Oh right," said Bongo, stopping. He then paced back and forth, saying, "Way to find Ladybug and Cat Noir, way to find Ladybug and Cat Noir, way to find Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

While Bongo pondered how to solve this puzzle, Nessa sighed, unsure of what to do. It wasn't that she didn't want to help Ladybug and Cat Noir save Golias—she did. She was just afraid of baddies, and couldn't bring herself to fight the elephant. Her heart always fluttered when she was around him, and the very thought of having to fight against him was a lot to handle. Still, if she wanted him brought back to normal, it didn't seem like she had much of a choice…

Suddenly the two of them heard the sound of someone landing on the roof of the building to their right, and they looked up—just in time to see a teenage girl with blonde hair in a braid, two strands of front hair that were black instead of blonde, a yellow and black mask around her eyes, and a yellow spandex suit with black stripes on it leaping onto the building that was on their left.

Bongo gasped. "A teenage girl in a superhero suit! Just like Ladybug! Maybe she knows the way to her, Cat Noir, and Golias!"

"Yeah!" Nessa agreed.

"Come on, let's follow her!"

And with that, Bongo bounced as high as he could and landed on the roof of the building on his left, where he began bouncing after the teenager he and Nessa had spotted. As for Nessa, who couldn't leap that high, she ran after him from down on the ground, all the while hoping that an akumatized Golias wouldn't be too scary, and that everything would go well.

Soon, Miserphant and the still-hypnotized Ladybug and Cat Noir arrived at the Eiffel Tower, the former still holding Yuri captive with his trunk. Once there, he placed the child on the observation deck and zapped the area around him, causing a blue cardboard box to appear, and trapping Yuri inside of it.

As Miserphant used his tape-producing power to seal the box shut, Yuri begged, "Please Golias, stop! Let me out!"

"Sorry, Yuri," was Miserphant's reply. "But you've gotta pay for not coming to find me when I needed you!"

"I didn't know you needed me! Please, let me out!"

"Nope. Sorry!" Miserphant then realized something, looked at the blue timeout box next to the one Yuri was trapped in, and then looked all around him. "Hey! Where's Sabrina?"

"We let her out before you put us under your spell," replied Ladybug and Cat Noir, in unison.

"Well then find her again!" Miserphant ordered. "She can't get away with being mean to me!"

"Yes, Miserphant," Ladybug and Cat Noir said, once again in unison. They then leapt off of the Eiffel Tower's observation deck and landed stylishly on the ground, on their feet. Next, they rushed forward…only for two more people to leap downward and land in front of them. Two more superheroes, to be precise: Purple Tigress and Polymouse.

"Stop right there, you two," Purple Tigress ordered, already readying her bolas for a battle.

"More superheroes?" Miserphant asked, startled at first.

"Ladybug must have sent someone to give out more Miraculouses," deduced Shadow Moth, who was currently still on his way to the Eiffel Tower. "I don't know who it was, but you must place everyone that's been recruited under your control before they seize your minions' Miraculouses!"

Miserphant nodded, his surprise melting into rage. He then sent a cyan beam sailing out of his trunk. The beam made a beeline for Polymouse, and it nearly hit her, but before it could, a caramel-coloured ball sailed in front of the beam, deflecting it. Then yet another superhero rushed into the battlefield, leapt forward, and grabbed the ball just as it was about to hit the ground.

"Three against two doesn't seem fair now, does it?" announced the third superhero, who was none other than Miss Hound.

"You're right. It doesn't," sneered Miserphant. "Then again, it's never fair when superheroes are there."

He then sent another beam flying out of his trunk, this time aiming at Miss Hound, while Purple Tigress began to battle Ladybug and Polymouse did the same with Cat Noir. However, Miss Hound deflected the beam with her ball again before rushing toward the villain, announcing, "You'd better watch out! I have the power to take complete control over whatever object of yours the akuma entered!"

"Well, I guess it's a good thing I swallowed that pebble after I transformed," retorted Miserphant. He then realized he'd just said something he shouldn't have said, and covered his mouth with his right ear in fear.

"Thanks for telling me," said Miss Hound, smiling in a crafty way. She then casually walked toward Miserphant, deflecting all the beams he tried to send her way as she did. Four steps later, she winked at him, her way of giving a signal to a certain someone that was waiting for the perfect opportunity to reveal her presence in a certain way.

Unfortunately, just as that someone was starting to sneak toward Miserphant from behind, a green kangaroo that Miss Hound recognized as the one at Place Des Vosges bounced toward her and, gasping for breath, said, "Finally…I caught up to you…"

"Bongo?" Miserphant asked in surprise. He turned around, and saw not just Bongo, but also a superheroine that Shadow Moth recognized as Vesperia, yet another member of Ladybug's team. She was standing there, a spinning top in hand, and a look of worry in her eyes. Quickly, she started to leap away, but before she could do so, the akumatized elephant fired a cyan beam at her from his trunk, and it struck her, turning all of her except her Miraculous blue.

"Vesperia!" Miss Hound yelled with worry. The plan had been to keep Miserphant, Ladybug, and Cat Noir distracted long enough for Vesperia to paralyze the villain with her Venom! What were they going to do now that she was under Miserphant's control too?

"Don't worry," Polymouse told what remained of her teammates, "I know what I need to do. Multitude!"

And before the still-hypnotized Cat Noir could react, Polymouse rapidly became engulfed in a light pink light and shrunk in size, transforming into about a hundred tiny duplicates of herself. Half of the Polymice leapt onto Cat Noir's body in an attempt to distract him, while the other half charged towards Miserphant, ready to jump into his mouth and search for the pebble he'd mentioned.

Unfortunately, Shadow Moth correctly guessed what the Polymice had in mind and ordered, "Keep your mouth closed, Miserphant! Protect the pebble containing the akuma at all costs!"

Miserphant nodded and kept his mouth closed as the Polymice came to him. When they couldn't seem to open his mouth despite their best efforts, one of the Polymice called, "Miss Hound? Little help?"

Miss Hound nodded and rushed towards Miserphant. However, before she could do anything to help the Polymice, he shot a cyan beam out of his trunk. Quickly, Miss Hound jumped away from it, and it flew past her. In an instant, Purple Tigress, who was too distracted by Ladybug to deflect the attack, was hit by it, and Miss Hound could only watch in horror as she too turned blue.

"No, not you too!" she cried out.

"Golias, stop trying to hurt those people!" the green kangaroo (what was his name again, Bongo?) shouted, having caught his breath. "The real you would never try to hurt anyone!"

"Yeah," came an unfamiliar (at least to Miss Hound) female voice. "The real you would've tried to cheer people up!"

"Nessa?" Miserphant asked in surprise, apparently recognizing her voice too. As he spoke, while twenty Polymice took advantage of his mouth being open and leapt inside of it, the pink giraffe Miss Hound remembered seeing in Place Des Vosges skipped towards Bongo and stood next to him, clearly scared of the villain but doing her best to push her fear aside. A factor that, while unnerving, was quite admirable, the way Miss Hound saw it.

Miserphant turned around to face the other two animals, but before he could work out what to say to them, Shadow Moth told him, "Don't listen to them, Miserphant! They're trying to trick you! And whatever you do, do not open your mouth again!"

Miserphant nodded, turned his back on the other two animals, and pressed his lips together as tightly as he could. As he did, Cat Noir started leaping around like crazy, trying to shake the Polymice that were on him off of him, while Ladybug, Purple Tigress, and Vesperia all made a beeline for Miss Hound. Quickly, she attached her ball to the collar of her suit and then did a cartwheel out of the way, causing the trio of hypnotized heroines to bump into each other and fall down, into a tangled heap. Seeing this, Miserphant shot another cyan beam out of his trunk, but Miss Hound dodged it just in time. Another beam was fired at her, and quick as a wink, she leapt out of the way and, seeing the hypnotized heroines were starting to succeed in untangling themselves from each other, she dashed toward them and, bravely, pulled Ladybug's earrings off of her ears. For some reason, her doing so didn't cause Ladybug to transform back into whoever she was behind the mask—but of course now wasn't the time to think much of that.

"Do something, Miserphant!" Shadow Moth barked. "I need the Miraculous!"

Miserphant nodded and tried once again to shoot a cyan beam at Miss Hound, but she dodged it while at the same time putting Ladybug's earrings on her ears. Instantly the earrings turned orange, and a red ladybug-like kwami appeared on her shoulder. Ladybug, Vesperia, and Purple Tigress all charged after her, but Miss Hound ran for all she was worth, heading straight for Cat Noir, who only had about six more Polymice to shake off of himself.

"Golias, please! Listen to us!" the giraffe, apparently named Nessa, called out.

"Yeah!" said Bongo. "Shadow Moth is a baddie! You shouldn't be listening to a baddie!"

Alright, that's it, thought Miserphant. He spun around and started firing cyan beams out of his trunk and at Bongo and Nessa. Once they saw this happen, their already-fragile-as-it-was courage shattered, and they turned and sped away from the battle, with the beams in hot pursuit.

Miss Hound, meanwhile, took advantage of the fact that Miserphant was distracted by the animals and Cat Noir was distracted by the Polymice, and grabbed the latter's ring, pulling it off his finger. Then, as a black cat-like kwami appeared on her other shoulder, she heard Nessa screaming, glanced behind her, and saw her and Bongo running (or in Bongo's case, bouncing, to be exact) away from the scene. Which gave her an idea: to temporarily leave the area and come up with a plan once she was in a safer environment. And she knew exactly how to give herself a head start too.

Just as the female hypnotized superheroes approached her, Miss Hound leapt away from Cat Noir, causing the heroines to bump into either him or each other and all fall down. Before they could get up, she turned and ran after Bongo and Nessa as fast as she could, shouting, "Animals! Turn to the left!"

Bongo and Nessa obeyed her, and as a result, managed to avoid getting hit by the beams, which continued going straight. Miserphant turned toward Miss Hound and tried to fire another beam at her, but she then turned to the left as well, allowing her to continue chasing after the other two animals. Groaning in frustration, Miserphant began to run after the trio, followed closely by Ladybug, Cat Noir, Vesperia, and Purple Tigress. But Bongo, Nessa, and Miss Hound quickened their pace, running and not stopping until they literally turned a corner, found themselves out of the villains' sight (for the time being at least), and simultaneously got to a truly miraculous sight: an open manhole in the middle of a nearby road with no construction workers in sight. The perfect place to regroup.

Bongo leapt into the manhole first. Nessa came next, albeit more carefully due to being a giraffe on four legs, and then Miss Hound followed, though she grabbed the manhole's lid just before going into it. She then placed the lid on top of the manhole before climbing down the ladder inside of it. Right after the lid was attached, she heard Miserphant and the hypnotized superheroes turn the corner and run past the manhole, apparently unaware that it was where their targets were. She then heard the sound of several tiny footsteps running after the villain and his assistants, and knew at once that it had to be most of the Polymice.

As she and the animals waited there, trying to catch their breath, Miss Hound eyed her two companions with wonder. She had no trouble imagining how they knew Golias, since it was obvious they were from Cabliftia. But what brought the three animals out of Cabliftia? Why were they here, in Paris?

Bongo caught his breath a few minutes later, and then sighed. "Oh man…how are we supposed to get Golias back if we're too scared to be with him and Ladybug and Cat Noir are under his spell?"

"Oh, I don't know," answered Nessa. "I really wanna help de-evilize him, but I'm just so scared!"

Miss Hound climbed the rest of the way down the ladder, still holding Cat Noir's ring and wearing Ladybug's earrings. "I know you're scared," she told them, "but now that Ladybug, Cat Noir, and most of the allies they summoned are under Miserphant's spell, I need your help to de-akumatize him."

"Miserphant?" Bongo and Nessa asked in unison.

"That's what Golias is calling himself now that he's akumatized," clarified Miss Hound.

"Oh," the two animals said, once again in unison. Then Nessa, with a large amount of hesitation in her voice and on her face, asked, "What do you want us to do?"

Miss Hound turned to face them and held out the Cat Miraculous. "First, I want you, Bongo, to take this ring and put it on."

"Wait just a second," the black cat kwami said. "Are you suggesting that those two animals take Cat Noir and Ladybug's jewels?" The red kwami, however, didn't say anything, knowing that it wasn't as if Miss Hound had a choice in this matter.

"The more heroes available to fight against Miserphant, the better things'll be," Miss Hound told the cat kwami. Then, turning back towards Bongo and Nessa, she said, "This ring and the earrings I'm wearing will either give you the power to destroy whatever you touch, or give you the power to create a random object, undo all the things Miserphant did, and turn the akuma, the magic butterfly that turned Golias into Miserphant, into a good butterfly. These powers are the powers Ladybug and Cat Noir had thanks to these jewels, their Miraculouses. They're what helped them save the day all the times someone was placed under Shadow Moth's control. Hopefully they can help you save the day too."

"But why can't you use the Miraculouses?" Bongo asked. "'Cause baddies are too scary for me and Nessa to take on. You saw what happened when we tried to save Golias!"

"Because, like I said. The more the merrier. And it's okay to feel scared. You wanna know something? Miserphant's scary to me too. Especially now that he's got four superheroes, including Ladybug and Cat Noir, under his spell. But I didn't let that stop me when someone gave me my own Miraculous, because I knew that if I tried to face Miserphant, and won, it would mean I could save my best friend, and Ladybug and Cat Noir! Don't you want to set your own friend free?" As she spoke, Miss Hound surprised herself with how…wise she was sounding. Was this a trait she'd inherited as a result of transforming into a dog-themed person, or had she been wise before and just never let herself show it because she'd been too busy placating Chloe?

She shook off the question. Now wasn't the time to be wondering about something like that. Now was the time to encourage the kangaroo and giraffe to push aside their fears and make one more attempt to help her save Golias.

"Oh yeah," replied Nessa. She then closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and opened her eyes again. "Okay," she said, "I'll take the earrings. For Golias."

Bongo nodded. "For Golias," he agreed. He then took the ring and put it on his index finger, while Miss Hound placed Ladybug's Miraculous on Nessa's ears, since the giraffe had no arms.

The kwamis flew off of Sabrina's shoulders once the other two animals had on the Miraculouses. "Now, miss," said the red kwami, "just say, 'Tikki, spots on.'"

"And you, say, 'Plagg, claws out,'" the black cat kwami told Bongo.

"Okay," said Nessa. "Tikki, spots on!"

"Plagg, claws out," Bongo said at the exact same time as Nessa recited her transformation phrase.

And then, in the blink of an eye, both kwamis morphed into a ball of light, one of which flew into Nessa's left earring, and the other of which flew into Bongo's ring. All at once, while the bottom half of Nessa's body turned from pink with raspberry spots to red with black spots, the lavender ribbons tied around her horns turned black, and her blue glasses were replaced by a red mask with black spots, Bongo's entire body except for his tummy, chest (which turned green), nose, fingers, and toes (which remained green) turned black, while the tuft of auburn hair on his forehead turned green. A yoyo then appeared dangling from within Nessa's mouth, while a steel staff appeared attached to Bongo's back.

"Wowie wow wow," Bongo said, striking many heroic poses as he checked himself out. "I'm not just Bongo anymore. Now I'm Kangacat! Check it out. Check it out!"

Nessa and Miss Hound laughed as they watched him bounce to and fro, admiring his new look and agility, the latter of which had been strong to begin with. As they watched him, Nessa decided to try something out. Curious, she bounced as well, and ended up sailing so high into the air that she bumped into the ceiling back-first. She then fell down and, after realizing that neither impact hurt her, she smiled and said, "Look at how strong and swishy we are! Let's call each other Kangacat and um…Swishybug."

"Swishybug," Kangacat repeated. "I like it!"

Miss Hound giggled again. She barely knew these two animals, but she had to admit that it was fun watching them experience what it was like to be Miraculous holders for the first time. It made her remember how awesome it had been to use her own Miraculous for the first time, and wish she could have been there to see what Chloe's first time as Queen Bee had been like. But in a second, she shook away these thoughts. She, Kangacat, and Swishybug had work to do.

"Okay," Miss Hound said, "here's the plan."

As he ran, with the hypnotized superheroes right behind him, still searching for Miss Hound and the other two Big Big Friends while completely unaware that the remainder of the Polymice were still chasing them, Miserphant could feel those of the Polymice who had managed to get inside his mouth making their way up his throat with the akuma-infected pebble in their clutches. It was only a matter of time before they'd reach his mouth, so he had to keep it closed no matter what. It didn't help that Shadow Moth was very angry at him for failing to keep Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses by his side either. At this point, he was threatening to take away the powers Miserphant had gained through his akumatization, which scared the elephant. Without those powers, the only thing he could do was change the layout of the scenery around him! He had to make it up to his master somehow. He just had to.

Miserphant continued searching the city for Miss Hound, Bongo, and Nessa, only to remain unable to find them. He was about to ask Shadow Moth where he thought the trio might be, when he stopped in his tracks, spotting Miss Hound—all alone—turning a corner and emerging into view.

"Alright, Miserphant!" Miss Hound called out, keeping her hands behind her back and pretending she was holding Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses. "You want the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses? Come and get them!"

Not daring to open his mouth to say something, Miserphant simply used his right ear to point towards her, and Vesperia ran in that direction, holding her spinning top out in front of her and chanting, "Venom!"

As the hypnotized heroine got closer and closer to her, Miss Hound kept one hand behind her back and used the other hand to grab her ball and throw it at Vesperia, where it hit her spinning top. She then chanted, "Fetch!" That caused the spinning top to disappear, and then reappear in Miss Hound's hidden hand without paralyzing her.

Still, despite this, Vesperia kept rushing toward her, and as she did, the dog-themed heroine knew exactly what she needed to do. Quickly, she aimed the bottom of the top at Vesperia, who saw this and screeched to a stop. Unfortunately for her, she did this too late to protect herself, and her forehead came into contact with the spinning top, paralyzing her.

"Noooo!" Miserphant yelled. Then he remembered he was supposed to be keeping his mouth closed and closed it again. Next, he used his right ear to point at Miss Hound again, and Purple Tigress ran forward, shouting, "Clout!"

While Miss Hound stood there, waiting for the right moment to move, Kangacat bounced closer to her, positioned his staff so that it was horizontal, and extended it so that one end of it touched the building he was hiding behind, and the other end touched the building that was to Miss Hound's right. Then, when Purple Tigress was directly in front of her, Miss Hound leapt to her right, and unable to stop herself in time, the tiger-themed heroine tripped over the staff and fell forward. Her energized fist slammed into the ground in front of her, creating a large crater in the pavement along with a second-long earthquake that sent Miss Hound flying backward. Right into the arms of Ladybug, who immediately reached for her necklace.

"Sorry, but I'm not gonna let you take my Miraculous until you're free from Miserphant's control!" Miss Hound said, kicking Ladybug in the stomach and causing her to release her so she could hold her belly in pain. The dog-themed heroine then ran away from her to avoid getting captured again, relieved that the first step of her plan—getting Vesperia and Purple Tigress to waste their powers—had gone accordingly.

Kangacat then restored his staff to its original height and bounced into view. "Yeah," he said, "keep your hands off Miss Hound's Miraculous!"

"Bongo?" Miserphant asked in surprise, recognizing the kangaroo. Then he remembered he was supposed to keep his mouth closed, so he closed it again and pointed at Miss Hound and Kangacat with his right ear. Instantly Ladybug and Cat Noir rushed toward the duo, and while Cat Noir took on Kangacat in a staff vs staff battle, Ladybug tried to use her yoyo to battle Miss Hound, who placed her ball back on the collar of her suit and used Vesperia's spinning top to deflect the heroine's attack attempts. Purple Tigress got up and used her bolas to try and help Ladybug, but Miss Hound cartwheeled out of her way, causing the tiger-themed heroine to accidentally tangle herself up in her bolas.

While all this was going on, Swishybug stayed hidden behind the building her allies had been hiding behind until they'd revealed their presence to Miserphant. Having been told how to activate each of her new powers by Miss Hound, she threw her yoyo into the air and whispered, "Lucky Charm!" Instantly a swarm of magical glowing ladybugs swirled out of her yoyo, and when they cleared away, a red pillow with black spots on it appeared in midair in their place. It instantly fell to the ground, and once it did, Swishybug eyed the pillow in confusion, not sure what to do with it. It was tempting to use the pillow to start a pillow fight against Miserphant, but for that to work, she'd need two pillows rather than just one. Hmm…how could she use the pillow to make it easier for herself and her teammates to de-evilize Golias?

"Excuse me?"

Swishybug jumped and looked down at where that voice had come from. She then gasped, seeing several teeny weeny humans, all of whom looked exactly the same. Grey hoodies with mouse ears on them, pink hair, grey and pink masks around their eyes, grey necklaces around their necks, white and pink gloves and boots…they looked so cute!

"I'm Polymouse," said one of the identical tiny humans. "These people are named Polymouse too. And I think we can help you figure out what to do with that pillow."

"Oh goodie!" Swishybug said. Miss Hound had said that the Polymice were some of the people who were trying to help her, and them being here was such a relief! Then she frowned. "But how are you going to help me figure it out?"

"Well," said one of the Polymice, "one time Ladybug produced a Lucky Charm item that was actually more than one item. She only needed two of the items that were given to her, so most of what she got was never used. Maybe it's the same case here."

"But this one's just a pillow," said Swishybug. "It's not more than one thing."

The Polymice thought hard, and then, in unison, they said, "Maybe there's something inside the pillow that can help us stop Miserphant."

"But usually the only things inside a pillow are feathers. How can…" And then Swishybug understood. Feathers were pretty much useless, unless you used them to tickle someone. And while going over the plan, Miss Hound had recommended that Swishybug use Lucky Charm to create an object that would somehow help them get Miserphant to open his mouth long enough for the rest of the Polymice to get the akuma-infected pebble out of his system. One sure way to get someone to open their mouth was by making them laugh, and tickling someone with a feather made others laugh for sure! All she had to do was find a way to break the pillow, and then she could use one of the feathers inside of it to tickle Miserphant.

So, after putting her yoyo down for a moment, using her teeth, Swishybug bit into the pillow as hard as she could, until it tore a hole in the object, revealing several white feathers lying inside of it. Smiling, she released the pillow, reached downward with her long neck, and used her mouth to pluck one of the feathers out of the pillow. Next, she came out of hiding and walked towards Miserphant, who recognized her but didn't say anything to prove it.

"Hi, Golias," said Swishybug, all the while continuing to use her teeth to hold onto the feather. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt you."

She then got very very close to him and rubbed his hip with the feather again and again. Instantly the sensation tickled Miserphant, and he tried to hold back his laughter at first. However, in the end, it was just too much for him to handle, and he burst into laughter. In a few seconds, a pebble was sent flying out of his mouth, and then out leapt twenty more Polymice, who, along with the Polymice that Swishybug had spoken with, each morphed into a ball of pink light. The balls of light then merged together into one, before clearing away, revealing a now-back-to-her-normal-size Polymouse. She then raced over, grabbed the pebble, and tossed it to Miss Hound, who had just succeeded in tying Ladybug up with the string Vesperia's spinning top was attached to. Miss Hound caught the pebble, and realizing it was the pebble that the akuma had infected, she shouted, "Kangacat! Use your Cataclysm on this pebble!"

"Oh yeah! Right!" Kangacat said. He shoved Cat Noir into the building on their right before bouncing toward Miss Hound, shouting, "Cataclysm!" He then touched the pebble with his energized hand, causing it to disintegrate into dust. The akuma then flew out of it, and Miss Hound called, "You're up, Swishybug!"

"Oh! Right!" Swishybug said. While Miserphant was engulfed in black and purple smoke and turned back into Golias, she released the feather and skipped back behind the building on the left. There, she used her mouth to pick up her yoyo again before skipping toward the akuma and lassoing her yoyo towards it. The akuma was successfully captured and purified, and in two seconds, she released it into the city. "Bye, not-an-akuma-anymore," Swishybug told the moth.

Miss Hound threw her hands into the air in victory. "We did it! We saved Paris despite all the bad things that happened!"

"Yippee! Bongo Bongo Bongo!" Kangacat shouted, bouncing up and down for joy. As for Swishybug, she simply giggled, glad that she'd been able to help and that the good ones had won. But then she frowned, and asked, "What do we do now?"

Miss Hound started to say, "Just throw the pillow into the air and shout, 'Miraculous Swishybug.'" But then her gaze fell on the still-hypnotized Ladybug and Cat Noir, and she realized something problematic. If Swishybug undid all the damage caused by Miserphant now, it would result in those two superheroes transforming into their civilian forms, since they didn't have their Miraculouses on! And while it was pretty tempting to find out who they really were, Miss Hound knew better than to give in to that temptation. Ladybug and Cat Noir were her friends, and they didn't want their true identities revealed to anyone; not even each other. She had to respect that. Which meant she had to find a way to separate each of them from everyone else before Swishybug undid everything Miserphant had done.

Golias recovered from his daze and looked around him, wondering what had happened and what he was doing in an apparently entirely blue city. Seeing this, Kangacat and Swishybug rushed toward him, with the latter saying, "Golias! Are you okay?"

"I…I think so," he replied. "But, um…where am I?"

"I don't know," said Kangacat. "But don't worry. It's us, Bongo and Nessa! You were turned into a baddie by Shadow Moth, but you're okay now because Miss Hound gave us Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses, and we used them to save you."

Golias winced in terror. "I got turned into a baddie?!"

"Yeah," said Swishybug. "But don't worry, you didn't hurt anyone. You just put people under your control." Then, turning toward Miss Hound, she asked, "Is there a way we can save the people he did that to?"

"Yeah," said Miss Hound. "But first we need to get Ladybug and Cat Noir somewhere we aren't so we won't find out their secret identities." She then picked up a still-tied up Ladybug and carried her behind the building on her left, where she set her down and then rejoined her allies. Next, she picked up Cat Noir and carried him behind the building on her right, set him down, and rejoined her allies again. "Okay," she told Swishybug, "now toss your Lucky Charm into the air and shout, 'Miraculous Swishybug.'"

Swishybug used her mouth to pick up the pillow and obeyed her. Instantly the pillow transformed into a swarm of glowing ladybugs, which travelled all over the city, restoring its layout to normal, freeing Chloe, Ladybug, Cat Noir (who then transformed back into Marinette and Adrien), Purple Tigress, and Vesperia from the hypnosis spell, and returning Yuri to the Le Grand Paris Hotel while also freeing him from the box he was trapped in.

Once the city was back to normal, Swishybug and Kangacat removed their Miraculouses, causing them to transform back into Nessa and Bongo, and their now-exhausted kwamis to reappear. Despite feeling very hungry, both kwamis agreed to give their respective Miraculouses back to their owners themselves, before leaving with Ladybug's earrings and Cat Noir's ring. Shortly after that, the kwamis were fed, and Ladybug and Cat Noir transformed again so they could reunite with Vesperia, Purple Tigress, Miss Hound, and Polymouse and do their "pound it" fist bump. However, this time they waited for Nessa and Bongo to join in on the activity, since they'd technically helped to save the day.

"They just want you to hold your fists out in front of theirs and say, 'Pound it.' It's really fun!" Miss Hound explained to the duo.

"Oh. Okay," Nessa said. She then skipped toward the heroes, while Bongo bounced to them. She then held out her front left foot while he held out his fist, and then all the transformed superheroes held out their own fists. And together, all of them said, "Pound it!"

Well, that's the end of the chapter. It's not quite the end of the story though, because there's still (at least) one more chapter left to write. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the ultimate rescue, and I'll see you soon!
