Chapter 6 :
One on One

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been updating this story but mainly I've been occupied with alot of other things lately. The first is I've been busy with my full time job at FedEx especially with a surge in hours. Next, I've been going through a healing process because my dog passed away in May. My family and I were going to out her down but unfortunately she died in our kitchen. It was hard on me and my family but were doing okay.
Also, in case anyone's interested, I set up a where I will post chapters of my current and future stories before their release at the end of each month. For free members, you'll get to read previews of my stories. You'll find it on my Furaffinity called Ghostrider2013. Anyway, everyone, enjoy.

The next morning at Interpol, Carmelita and Jessica were downstairs in the training room doing their daily sparring session that helped them stay fit and keep their training sharp. There were times when Carmelita and Jessica would make it a friendly competition which usually ends with the loser buying lunch. However, today's sparring session was different because Winthrop had joined them. Inside the ring, Winthrop was using the ropes to hold himself up due to all the pain and exhaustion he was feeling. The reason he was putting himself through all this pain and suffering was because he thought it would give him the chance to spend time with Inspector Fox. However, he was now having second thoughts about doing this. He was soon able to pick himself up only to be met with a straight right, sending him back down to the canvas. He looks up to see Inspector Fox standing over him wearing blue workout short, sports bra, fingerless MMA gloves and ankle wraps. "You good, Winthrop?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice.
"Who me? Never better. Just tired is all." he answered. "I think I'm going to sit this one out."
"Okay then." Carmelita replies then turns toward Jessica who was leaning in the corner wearing the same attire as Carmelita but the color was black and white. "You ready, Jess?"
"I was born ready, girl." Jessica proudly replied then both women make their way toward the center of the ring until they were face to face. "Just remember, loser has to buy lunch."
"I know, Jess. Now, let's do this."
The two officers get into fight stances and begin circling the ring. Their eyes fixated on each other waiting for the other to strike. Eventually, Jessica strikes first with a straight right but Carmelita blocks then attempts to counter with a left hook except Jessica is able to dodge it then counters with a right across the vixens jaw followed by a left. Jessica stays on the attack delivering back to back lefts and rights forcing Carmelita back into the corner even causing the vixen to cover up. Just before Jessica could deliver a straight right, Carmelita ducks then counters with a right uppercut forcing the husky back a few steps.
"Nice one, girl." Jessica compliments while rubbing her chin. "What else you got?"
Wasting little time, Carmelita charges at her friend full force and delivers a straight right followed by a left. However just before she's able to deliver another right, Jessica slips around behind Carmelita, wraps her arm around her waist and delivers a German suplex.
"Oh so now you're using wrestling moves, Jess?" Carmelita asked stunned by Jessica's move.
"What? I thought I'd mix things up a little." Jessica replied innocently.
"Is that so? Alright then, let's mix it up then." Carmelita performs a kip-up and retaliates with a spinning back kick causing Jessica to step back a few feet. Immediately, Carmelita delivers back to back left and right hooks and finally a powerful uppercut sending her opponent to the mat. Seeing an opportunity, Carmelita traps Jessica in a cross armbar causing Jessica to tap out. Carmelita releases Jessica's arm then helps her back to her feet. "Girl, you are unstoppable." Jessica compliments.
"Oh quit it, Jess."
"No seriously, those clowns who attacked you last night should've walked away because there is no on and I mean no one who can beat you."
"Wanna bet?" a new voice interrupted which causes both friends smiles to disappear because they knew exactly who that voice belonged to.
They turn and see a female cocker spaniel with brown hair climbing onto the apron then into the ring. She was also wearing the same outfit like Carmelita and Jessica except hers is violet. This is Detective Sabrina Haynes, another officer at Interpol who had a habit of ruining Inspector Fox's good days. During the time Sly worked at Interpol, she would make advances toward him in an effort to steal him from Carmelita. Unfortunately, all of that ended after Sly disappeared from Interpol which she was not happy about so now she was back to tormenting Carmelita. However, unknown to anyone especially Inspector Fox, Sabrina's grudge against Inspector Fox goes deeper than right now.
"What are you doing here, Haynes?" asked Carmelita.
"What does it look like? I'm here for a rematch." Sabrina answered.
"Really Haynes? Didn't you get your butt kicked last time?" Jessica asked recalling Carmelita and Sabrina's last fight which was competitive.
"For the record, she got lucky last time, but this time is going to be different because this time I'm ready." Sabrina proudly boasted then gets into a fight stance. "Now let's do this."
"You really want to do this, Haynes? Alright then." Carmelita replied then gets into fight stance as well while Jessica exits the ring then pulls the still unconscious Winthrop out of the ring.
Meanwhile back in the ring, Sabrina was the first to attack with a straight right to Carmelita causing her to back up but is able to catch herself. Seeing her opponent is still standing, she begins to deliver back to back left and right hooks. Soon enough, Sabrina targets the vixens stomach and finally she delivers a powerful right hook, sending Inspector Fox down to the mat. Carmelita places her hand on the side of her head as she felt dizzy from Sabrina's right hook then she looks up to see Sabrina standing over her with a smirk across her face.
"You know Fox, if Cooper was watching right now, he'd be embarrassed." Sabrina taunts then turns and walks to the ropes unaware that Inspector Fox was slowly getting back to her feet eventually standing up.
"Hey, Haynes." called the vixen causing Sabrina to come to a stop. "You know it'll take more then a couple punches to keep me down."
"Then in that case…" Sabrina turns back around toward Inspector Fox and into a fight stance like before "….I need to hit harder."
"Harder? Are you kidding? My grandmother hits harder than you unless you're losing your touch?"
"Oh yeah?"
At that moment, Sabrina charges at the vixen full speed but what she didn't know was Carmelita anticipated it by delivering a straight right to her gut, stopping her opponent dead in her tracks. Sabrina stumbles backward clutching her stomach from Carmelita's punch. Just then, Carmelita takes advantage by delivering back to back right hooks, forcing Sabrina to back up toward the corner but just before Carmelita could deliver another right, Sabrina grabs the vixen in a body lock and places her in the corner then begins delivering left and right hooks but Carmelita is able to cover up while from outside the ring, Jessica was cheering her friend on. Back in the ring, Sabrina continued unloading on Carmelita but just as she was about to deliver another right, Carmelita ducks and counters with a left uppercut. Sabrina is forced backwards from the vixen allowing Carmelita to go on the offensive, delivering back to back jabs and hooks until finally she delivers a strong right hook sending Sabrina to the mat.
"Stay down, Sabrina." urged Carmelita but Sabrina doesn't listen and proceeds to get back to her feet. "You and I both know how this is going to end."
"Fat chance, Fox!" Sabrina shouts and again charges at Inspector Fox but Carmelita dodges causing Sabrina to fly right past and onto the ropes. Seeing her chance, Carmelita traps Sabrina in a rear naked choke hold and wraps her legs around her waist causing the two to fall down to the mat.
"Tap out, Sabrina. It's over." Carmelita urged as she held the submission tight while Sabrina struggled in an effort to get free However, left with no other choice, Sabrina taps Carmelita on the arm causing Inspector Fox to release her. Just like that, the fight was now over with Carmelita the winner.
The vixen picks herself up onto one knee while watched Sabrina who was also on one knee breathing heavily after nearly being choked out by Inspector Fox. Seeing that Sabrina wasn't going to make a move, Carmelita picks herself up onto her feet and proceeds to make her way toward the apron so she can exit the ring unaware that Sabrina wasn't finished because she charges at Carmelita again in order to cheap shot her. But at that moment, Carmelita leaps off the bottom rope and delivers a superman punch once again sending Sabrina back down to the mat, this time for good.
"Whoo!" Jessica cheers. "Nice shot, girl!"
"Thanks, Jess." Carmelita replies as she climbs onto the apron and then down to the floor. "Now let's get out of here. I've had enough for one day. Oh and FYI, you still owe me lunch."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Jessica and Carmelita proceed to help Winthrop to his feet and proceed to head to the locker room to change clothes.
After changing, Carmelita, Jessica, and Winthorop return to the upper floors and resume working and as per their agreement, Jessica treated Carmelita to lunch. Plus, she felt good for herself from her victory over Sabrina. As for Sabrina, she felt humiliated from her loss to Inspector Fox which also fueled her anger toward Carmelita. Time goes by and everyone was on their way home after a long day of working including Carmelita, Jessica, and Winthorop. But as they were on their way out, Inspector Fox is shoved hard, sending her straight toward the nearby desk but she is able to catch herself.
"You're not going anywhere, Fox! You and I have unfinished buisness!"
Carmelita gets back to her feet only to find herself staring at Detective Haynes. "Haynes, walk away before you do something you're going to regret." she warned
"Not a chance, Fox! This ends now!" Waisting little time, Sabrina charges at Carmelita and tackles her, sending them both down to the floor. Jessica, Wnthorop, and all the other officers immediately jump in. Two officers manage to pull Sabrina away from Inspector Fox while Jessica and Whinthorop helped Carmelita back to her feet.
"Haynes!" a voice boomed, getting everyones attention causing them to look and see a very angry Chief Barkley walking toward them. "My office, now!" The two officers release Sabrina and she proceeds to follow the chief but not before shooting Carmelita a dirty look as she walked past. Within minutes, Sabrina finds herself in Chief Barkley's office with the chief who was not happy with her behavior tonight. "What is the matter with you, Hayes? I turn my back for one second and this happens! Was I not clear I wanted this rivalry between you two to end?!"
"Yes, you were sir but that doesn't change the fact that all of this is Inspector Fox's fathers fault!"
"Is that what this is about, Haynes?"
"Yes Chief, her father ruined my father's life! He lost everything from his freedom to his beadge and even my mother and when I joined the force I wanted to make up for his mistakes. Yet no matter how many criminals I busted, how many operations I shut down, it's all about Inspector Fox."
"Okay Haynes, I'm going to stop you righ there. Just because Inspector Fox has had a perfect case record along with bringing in most of the Fiendish Five with the exception of Panda King and Clockwerk does not mean it's all bout her."
"Of course it is, Chief and it wasn't just the Fiendish Five she took down. She took down the Klaww gang, that General Tsao loser, Octavio, all of those loser she brought in and I know for a fact she had help from Sly Cooper! Hell, she had him after the Klaww gang was defeated and he still managed to get away! In fact, the only reason you keep her around is because you're soft on her!" Sabrina stands up turns with her back toward the Chief who was now even more angry inside. "Now if you don't mind, Chief I would like to go now."
"Fine. You can go but after you turn in you badge and gun to me immediately."
"What?"
"You heard me, Haynes. Hand in your badge and you gun now."
Sabrina was left in complete surprise at what was happening to her. Her entire career as a law enforcement officer was fallin apart. However, she decided she didn't care because just like her father, she felt that everything she did for Barkley was for nothing. "You want my badge? Fine!" She angrilly takes out her badge and pistol then slams both items down on the cheif's desk. "I hope you choke on them!" She turns and proceeds to exit the Chief's office with a slam while the chief looked down at the former officer's badge and gun. Outside the chief's office, Sabrina was passing by everyone but stops in front of two officer talking to each other.
"Do I look like I care what you think about me?" she asked, getting both officers attention. "Do I look like I care what you loser thinks?!"
Sabrina walks past the two officers who were both left completely puzzled and confused as to what they did to deserve that. She soon reaches the elevator and presses the DOWN button unaware she was being watched by Natalie who had also seen the fight between her and Carmelita Fox earlier thus intriguing her. She pulls out her phone and speed dials Maria. "Hey, it's me. What do you know about a police officer named Sabrina Haynes?" asked Natalie as she watched Sabrina climb into the elevator.
AS for Carmelita, she was given permission to head home for the night after being looked over by the medical examiner on the condition she takes it easy. But it wasn't entirely bad because upon entering her apartment Sly was waiting for her. They were now sitting together on her couch enjoying wine. She even tells him about today's events with Sabrina Haynes.
"So hold on, Haynes takes you on again in a rematch and still loses?" Sly asked although not surprised.
"Pretty much, ringtail." Carmelita replies taking a drink of her wine. "Can I ask you something, Sly?"
"What is it, beautiful?" Sly inquires.
"Would you really dump me for Sabrina?"
"Of course not, Carmelita. Why do you ask?"
"When I was fighting Haynes, she was able to take me down and she said that you'd be embarrased if you were watching." the vixen explained. "I mean it worked out in the end after I beat her but..."
"Carm," Sly interrupts. "When I was at Interpol, I rejected every one of her advances because she's nothing like you. And it's not what's on the outside I love about you. It's what's on the inside I love about you." Carmelita couldn't help but blush at what Sly said. She then takes Sly's wine glass and sets them on the coffee table. After placing the cups on the table, the vixen straddles Sly's lap and begins making out with him. Their kiss begins growing more passionate with each passing second.
But unknown to them, on the rooftop across from them, a cameraman was secretly taking photos of them during they're makeout session. At one point, the cameraman sees Carmelita taking off her top revealing a black bra.
