Chapter 11: Upcoming: The Sports Festival

"So Mr. Gabriel I fought some villains and—"

"Bro fought villains."

*Gabriel stares deadpan as Izuku looks back flabbergasted*

Yo yo been a hot minute since I've updated this story, sorry about that. Went on vacation then real life problems came up and once I did get back into writing my internet went in and out for a week straight. But I finally managed to get this out after getting my mojo back.

Sorry that this chapter is short, this one is mainly focused on looking at the aftermath of the villains ambush in the last chapter. There's going to be a bit of exposition in this one so if you want to skip that's all good. Next chapter will be a lot more eventful since we'll be getting into the Sports Festival.

Also, I want to apologize for not keeping up with comments lately, I'll try to get back to everyone that I missed these past few weeks. On Ao3 anyway, Fanfic still hasn't created a better review system for me to easily reply without flooding my own reviews.

Other than that, hope you guys enjoy this chapter.

"An ambush and yet they still failed?" Gabriel barked out a laugh, his voice bouncing off the walls. "What an embarrassment. Truly pathetic."

Izuku and Gabriel were currently within the nave of the Moon temple, the former in his usual spot while the latter was sitting at the edge of the altar. It had been only a few hours since Izuku and the rest of his class were ambushed by the villains, but to the young angel it felt like mere moments. A fact which he had used to relay the story back to Gabriel when he was warped to the moon temple for their daily verse reading.

Despite the severity of the situation Gabriel showed little concern as Izuku told him of his fight against the villains. The Archangel would give small nods to show that he was listening or occasionally say something to the effect of 'to be expected' whenever Izuku explained how he defeated an enemy. The lack of empathy didn't necessarily bother the greenette as he understood that his mentor simply just had that much confidence in him. It was reassuring in a weird sort of way.

"Yeah, I'm just glad no other student got hurt." Izuku said with a nod. "I still think I could've done better at protecting them though."

"You may be divine, but you can't be everywhere at once." Gabriel sternly reminded before switching to a proud tone. "Your leadership was what ensured their safety and the life of your teacher. Take pride in that, Izuku."

"Thanks, Mr. Gabriel." The younger angel mumbled, slightly ducking his head from the praise. The mention of his other teacher reminded Izuku that he had yet to tell Gabriel of the most important part of the encounter. "Actually, there's something else I want to add, about how I saved Aizawa-sensei."

"Hmm and what would that be?" Gabriel hummed without looking up from the page of his bible.

"I uh used my Light." Izuku awkwardly revealed, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

"Yes, that's great Izuku. I knew you could–wait what?" Gabriel nodded mindlessly before the weight of his pupil's words fully sunk in. The tome was quickly closed, and the angel leaned forward with interest. "Did I hear that correctly? You used your Light?"

"Yeah, Aizawa-sensei was about to die from one of the villains' quirks and I was too far to make it in time to save him." Izuku began, looking down at the hand that summoned the weapon. "I don't know how to explain it, but I felt something moving inside of me and then a javelin was just there in my hand." Said limb was closed into a fist as Izuku continued in a determined voice. "I didn't even think I just knew what I had to do to save Aizawa-sensei."

"...heh heh..ha ha ha! HA HA HA!" The temple was quiet for a moment before the sounds of Gabriel's uproarious laughter bounced off the walls. "I can see now why The Father chose you to become one of us. You continue to impress me to this very day." The Archangel praised once his laughter died down.

"I guess, it was more of an accident than something I intended to happen." The teen shrugged.

"Accidental or not, to use one's Light as you did at your level of training is no small feat." Gabriel stated firmly. "There are those within the academy who have trained far longer and have yet to tap into the barest bit of their Light."

"I didn't know it was that big of a deal." Izuku said with a thoughtful look. "I mean I knew that using my Light wouldn't be easy, but I didn't think it would be that hard either."

"Hmm yes and no, anyone can manipulate their Light to a small degree, but to truly use it as freely as you did is another matter entirely ." Gabriel answered back with a thoughtful hum. "Our Light is like our blood, it flows through us, makes us stronger, and gives us life. To manipulate it to our whims requires a level of control that many barely scratch the surface of.." The angel's voice dropped down into a low rumble, his gauntlet coming to rest on his chin as muttered to himself. "I'll have to adjust your training schedule to accommodate this new development."

"So does that mean…" The greenette trailed off, an excited look in his eyes.

"Yes–yes, we'll start incorporating Light training into your schedule." From behind his helmet Gabriel rolled his eyes good naturedly. "Consider another day of your schedule to be occupied purely for Light training."

"You got it, Mr. Gabriel!" Izuku enthusiastically nodded.

"Now while I'm sure it was fun showcasing your power over such…insignificant opponents, I believe it's time to turn your attention back to important matters." Gabriel continued, turning back down to the page of his bible.

"Alri–" Izuku began before stopping himself, his mind replaying a single word from his mentor's sentence. 'Insignificant?'

Of course, it wasn't exactly an inaccurate description of the villains that he had faced, even if he would've chosen a nicer descriptive. However, it was not the many faceless individuals that Izuku thought of but the beaked monstrosity that pushed him to his limits. Even now, hours after he had beaten the Nomu, Izuku could still intimately recall the feeling of cold dread seeping into his heart. Just thinking about it again reminded Izuku of the soft, barely audible whispers he heard coming from the creature.

There were many words that Izuku could use to describe the monstrosity and 'insignificant' was far down on that long list.

"Um, actually Mr. Gabriel, there was something else that happened during the attack." The young angel hesitantly asked.

"Hmm and what would that be?" Gabriel halfheartedly replied.

"The villains–they had this…creature with them. It was big and strong–it nearly killed Aizawa-sensei if I hadn't stopped it." Izuku began before taking a pause, trying to find the right words. "I…I don't know how to describe it but that–that thing it felt…wrong. It was alive but it was like it shouldn't have been." He trailed off, feeling a shiver of unease as he recalled the Nomu. "And I swear I could hear these whispers, calling for–no begging for something…"

"Are you certain?" The seriousness of Gabriel's voice caught Izuku off guard, but after taking a second to recover he nodded in confirmation. "This is…somewhat troubling." The Archangel muttered gravely. "What you just described Izuku is known as a Husk."

"Husk?" The greenette repeated curiously.

"They are the manifestation of the damned souls in Hell." Gabriel elaborated curtly.

"Manifestation of souls?" Izuku repeated with a perplexed expression.

"A person's worth is determined by the significance they had before their death." The Archangel began his explanation. "When they die their souls will then form accordingly depending on their deeds in life. Husks are the manifestation of damned souls while Angels are the manifestation of righteous souls."

"So, then all Husks of Hell are similar to one I fought?" The greenette asked after his mentor's speech.

"Not quite, see the significance of the person determines the shape of a Husk and Angel." Gabriel corrected while holding up three fingers. "A soul can be categorized within one of three areas: lesser, greater, and supreme. The first being the weakest type and the last being the most powerful. From the description you gave it appears you fought a Supreme Husk."

"I see, so then the one I fought must've been really special." Izuku nodded. "I'm guessing Supreme Husks are not that common."

"Precisely my student." The elder angel praised. "Supreme Husks are few in numbers and often control segments of Hell on their own, if not outright owning a whole layer."

"If that's the case then how could there be one on my Earth if they only appear in Heaven and Hell?" Izuku inquired with a confused look. "Much less a supreme one."

"Reasonably they shouldn't be, but if what you say is true then it appears as though these 'villains' have either created a man-made Husk or found a way to pull them from Hell itself." Gabriel explained quickly, pacing back and forth as he stared contemplatively at the ceiling. "Either of which is a problem that needs to be resolved. Permanently." He declared with a cold, calculating tone.

"And I'm guessing I'll be the one to solve it?" The younger angel asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Indeed, consider this a side objective; you are to find the ones responsible and ensure that it will never be replicated again." The older angel turned towards his student and ordered forcefully, leaving no room for argument.

"Understood, Mr. Gabriel." Izuku accepted the mission resolutely.

"Good, while Husks are no match for divine beings like ourselves, humans are not nearly as durable." Gabriel emphasized with a strike to his armored chest. "Though on the brighter side at least this information along with the use of your Light will get the Council off our back for a while." The armored warrior revealed with a casual shrug.

"Wait what?" The teen prodded with a quizzical stare. "What does the Council have to do with me?"

"Your decision to be both a warrior of Heaven and a Hero received some…pushback by a few members." The Archangel stated nonchalantly, unaware of the alarmed look on his pupil's face. "While I managed to stave them off at first, there has been a recent resurgence to try and move you into the academy until your training is complete."

"They–they can't do that…can they?" Izuku worriedly inquired, the palms of his hands becoming slick with sweat.

Though he had never met them, Izuku could glean from the bits of information that his mentor revealed that the Council were a powerful force in Heaven. The fact that Gabriel, the strongest warrior of Heaven's army, answered to them said enough about the influence they held. So, if they truly wanted him to bring him up to Heaven, could he really do anything to stop it? Though he tried to not to think too much on it, the greenette couldn't help but be slightly worried by this newfound information.

He had finally taken his first steps to achieve his lifelong dream of becoming a hero, even making a few friends in just a few days. The mere thought of having all of it ripped away from him while being placed in unfamiliar territory made Izuku's heartbeat rapidly. That wasn't even considering the fact that he would also be leaving his mom behind for who knows how long. The following scoff that left Gabriel's mouth helped alleviate the growing anxiety that was beginning to flood the teen's mind.

"Not without going through me first." Gabriel answered while puffing his chest out pridefully. "Though they may be the voice of the Father, I will not let them interfere in matters they do not belong." The armored man waved his hand dismissively. "I wouldn't worry too much about it."

"Yeah…if you say so Mr. Gabriel." The greenette nodded slowly, pushing down what lingering skepticism he had.

"We've wasted enough time. Open your bible, it's time we turn our attention to your lesson for the day." The angel commanded, taking his place at the altar.

With his doubts pushed to the depths of his mind, Izuku opened his book and began listening intently to the passage Gabriel started to recite.

*U.A, Next Day*

Unfortunately for Izuku his doubts did not stay away for long.

Within mere moments of returning to his own world, the all too familiar feeling of anxiety spread through his mind like a virus. The entire night Izuku laid awake, staring at his ceiling as his thoughts ran wild with possibilities. And in his typical pre-angelic self, the teen couldn't stop the wildfire that was his imagination from spreading further and further.

'How long has the Council wanted him?'

'Would Gabriel be able to fend them off?'

'Would they take him by force?'

'Could they take away his light if he refused?'

'How long would they keep him there?'

'Did the Father make the right choice in choosing him?'

These thoughts and many more like them continued to flood Izuku's mind like a broken dam the entire night and well into the next day. Of course, years of practice allowed him to hide his fear and worry with ease. On the outside the angel looked no different than any other day, but to any with a trained eye they would be able to see the slight ticks that exposed his true feelings. Such as how his fingers twitched randomly or how his green eyes darted around as though he was expecting to be attacked.

Even as he stepped through the gates into U.A, Izuku's anxiety continued to fester like an open wound. His thoughts became so rampant that he completely missed Tokoyami and the others greeting him as he sat down. The three other teens looked on with worried expressions at the obliviousness of their friend. The only thing that managed to catch Izuku's attention was the sound of the bell and a mummified Aizawa stepping into the classroom.

"Alright settle down." The Erasure Hero grumbled as he plopped down into his seat. "We've got important information to cover today."

"Sensei!" Tenya exclaimed while raising his hand.

"Yes Iida?" Aizawa sighed exasperatedly.

"Shouldn't you be resting right now?!" The glasses wearer continued loudly. "It is unbecoming of a hero to be seen in such a state!"

"Thank you for your concern but I'm fine." Aizawa deadpanned. "Now if that's all let's just cut right to the chase. Yesterday you were all attacked by villains."

The air in the room shifted into an uncomfortable one, an obvious split between the students and their reminder of yesterday. Some, like Bakugo and Todoroki, were fairly unbothered and seemed far more relaxed with what happened. On the other side, those like Ochako and Koji were clearly rattled by the ambush. Seeing the anxious expressions of his classmates made Izuku's lip tilt downwards.

"And I wanted to say…" The room became tense as the Pro let his words hang in the air for a moment. "I'm proud of all of you."

If a pin dropped at that moment it would sound like an explosion with how quiet it was.

"You all handled yourselves extremely well despite only being first years and without any support from us Pros." Aizawa said, dipping his head as low as his bandages would allow. ":On behalf of the U.A faculty we would like to apologize for failing to protect you. If anyone needs counseling then speak with me after class and I'll set you up with an appointment with Hound Dog."

The silence that came over the room was palpable as Aizawa's words sank in. In truth, no one really knew what to say considering they were still processing yesterday's events. One minute they're fighting villains and the next they're getting an apology from their strict teacher. It was surprisingly Bakugo who brought the other teens back into focus.

"Pfft like those weaklings were anything to be scared about." The explosive user scoffed pridefully. "I'm in 1-A, the best of the best, if they want to challenge me they'll have to do better than that."

While normally the blonde's ego would annoy everyone else, they found it oddly inspiring this time around. Now that they were thinking about it, they managed to defeat their groups of villains all on their own with only their classmates as support. To defeat real, adult opponents against such odds truly did showcase why they were in U.A to begin with.

"Hey ya, Bakugo is right!" Kirishima agreed with a toothy smile. "We kicked those villains' butts!"

"Heh ya." Sero chucked while adding. "We really did huh?"

"It was a rather eye opening experience." Momo hummed thoughtfully.

"While it was harrowing, I must admit I did learn quite a bit from the encounter." Tenya said, adjusting his glasses.

"They were pretty weak." The half and half user muttered monotonously.

Izuku could feel some of his worry fade away as each of his classmates seemed to become more spirited with each passing second. It was nice, seeing that despite the severity of the situation they were in, that everyone was no more worse for wear. The angel didn't feel as bad now that he wasn't able to help them. It was clear now that they could clearly handle themselves, at least against those types of villains.

"Alright settle down." The Erasure Hero said after allowing his students a few more moments of bragging. "Now that that's out of the way it's time for you to prepare for your greatest challenge yet…" Everyone leaned forward in their seats in anticipation. "...the Sports Festival is coming up next week."

"Wahoo!" Mina whooped excitedly.

"Finally, I can show the world how 'sparkling' I am." Aoyama said, striking a posh pose.

"Yes-yes, I'm sure you're all excited but don't forget you're representing U.A when you compete." Aizawa reminded the class seriously. "So I better see you doing your best out there. Otherwise, someone from another course may take your spot." Though they couldn't see it, everyone in the room knew their teacher was wearing his usual evil smile. "Alright announcements are over, class starts now."

Other than Aizawa's statements, Izuku found that class went about as normally as any other day. His tired teacher droned on about hero information and going over the class's performance in other subjects. Occasionally, someone, Mina, would clearly get bored and goof off without trying to draw the Pro Hero's ire. Izuku didn't know how, but even with his back turned, Aizawa was able to call out the pink skinned girl whenever she was up to her antics.

Before the greenette knew it the bell rang, signaling the end of homeroom and the countdown for the students to get to their next class. Izuku had a habit of letting the crowd go first, opting to hang back with Tokoyami until the mass of people fizzled out. This time was no different with the pair being among the last few to leave the classroom.

"Hold up Midoriya."

At least that would've been the case if not for Aizawa stopping the young angel.

"Go on ahead, I'll see ya in English." Izuku told Tokoyami with a wave.

"Of course, see you then my friend." The shadow user nodded before exiting, leaving only Izuku and Aizawa in the room.

"You need me for something, Aizawa-sensei?" The teen asked.

"I'm going to be straight with you Midoriya, your behavior today has been concerning." The teacher said plainly.

Izuku unconsciously clenched his hand, his anxiety flaring up at the statement.

'Damn it was I that obvious? What's going to happen to me now?' Izuku's mind began racing. 'Will I have to tell him the truth about my 'quirk'? Will the Council take me away if I do? Damn it–damn it–damn it!'

"Midoriya."

"Huh?" The firm yet soft tone of his teacher brought the greenette from his thoughts.

"You went through quite a lot yesterday; I was asking if you need to see Hound Dog." Aizawa repeated while looking at the teen dead in the eyes.

'Oh…this is about yesterday's attack.' The angel's body lost some of its tension at the revelation. "I–I don't think so, Aizawa-sensei." He answered hesitantly.

"There's nothing wrong with seeking out help." The Erasure Hero replied seriously. "Pros are still human at the end of the day."

"I'm fine really. It's just…" Izuku trailed off trying to find the right words. "I still feel like I didn't do enough…to protect everyone else." Not technically a lie, but it wasn't the whole truth either.

"I see, so that's what this is about." The man gave a tired sigh. "Look problem child if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be standing here today. You did more than enough–far more than I could ever ask as your teacher." He continued, pure sincerity in his voice.

"But still–"

"Still nothing. Midoriya, you have an incredible quirk and the spirit of a hero to back it up, but you can't save everyone." Aizawa cut off, appearing far more tired than he usually did. "That's the worst part about this line of work, is that no matter how hard you try even the greatest will fail. We're all just human, it's ok to be scared–to fail, because no one is perfect, not even All Might himself."

'Human…but…I'm not.'

Izuku's brain latched onto the word like a parasite, repeating over and over again as he recounted everything in the past year. Training with Gabriel, sparring against the machines, learning the ways of the Father–all of it was a reminder that Izuku was not the same boy he was. He was an angel, a warrior of god, an icon of righteousness and purity that was meant to stand against all that was wicked. And yet here he was, being afraid of angels he hasn't even met and beating himself up over not being able to protect his friends and classmates.

In that moment the worry that clouded his mind like a dense fog evaporated as a new fiery determination blossomed. No, he would not be afraid, not over the Council or anything else. The Council thinks he needs to be in the academy? Fine, Izuku would train three times as hard to show that he was far above whatever 'regimen' they had in store for him. His friends might be attacked by villains again? Very well, then the greenette will master every aspect of his angelic powers so he can defend them with all his might.

"I'm sorry Aizawa-sensei but I reject that idea." Izuku stated resolutely.

"?!" The man said nothing, instead staring wide eyed at his student.

"Maybe you're right–maybe I can't save everyone and that one day I will fail. But I'm not going to just sit here and wait for that to happen." The young angel promised confidently. "I'll get stronger–become a better hero and go beyond Plus Ultra. Because as long as I'm around I will protect the innocent. Down to my last breath." Izuku finished, staring back at his teacher with unwavering conviction.

"...heh. Then I guess I better see you as U.A's top ranking student." The Erasure Hero chuckled lowly after a few moments of silence. "With a promise like that it'd be a shame if you fell short."

"I won't, Aizawa-sensei." Izuku said firmly. "I'll give it my all."

"That, I don't doubt." Aizawa agreed before nodding towards the door. "I've already informed Mic you'll be late so get to your class already."

"Yes sensei."

"Oh, and Midoriya." Before the greenette could leave the teacher called out.

"Hmm?" Curiously, the teen looked back to see what the man had to say.

"As the number one of the entrance exam you're expected to give a speech at the Sports Festival."

'Public speaking…in front of millions of people…great.' Izuku sighed, wishing that another villain attack would save him right now.

*Unknown Location*

"That bastard! He was cheating I tell you! Kurogiri you saw it too right?! That stupid kid with the wings!"

Within the confines of the bar, a shirtless Tomura was currently being tended to by a doctor with goggles over his face and a bushy mustache. The latter was stitching up the former's recent shoulder injury, watching in fascination as the flesh struggled to stitch itself back together. Opposite to the pair was Kurogiri, who was idly cleaning some glasses from behind the bar as he allowed his superior to vent.

Above the warp user, a tv with a vague outline of a man watched the trio silently.

"This is quite fascinating indeed." The doctor said while wiping at the wound with a rag. "No amount of medication seems to work, and it appears as though his cells are multiplying at a much slower rate."

"Can it be healed, doctor?" A deep, powerful voice came from the tv screen.

"With some quirks, yes, though I'm afraid it will leave quite a nasty scar." The man replied.

"Hmm, Tomura tell me more about who did this to you."

"It was that green knight bastard Sensei!" The decay user shouted erratically. "It-it was him! Everything was going fine and then–and then he–! He showed up and messed up my entire plan!"

"A tragedy that one of my children was taken into custody." The doctor said dejectedly.

"It was perfect–perfect! We had Nomu–he was going to kill Eraserhead!" Tomura continued to rant, practically hyperventilating. "Bu–but no! That–that fucking hacker showed up and cheated! It's not fair–it's not fair! I hate him–I fucking hate him–I'll kill him–I'll kill them a–"

"Tomura." Sensei cut in, calmly but firmly. "This is a minor setback, your chance to enact justice will come. But you must be patient."

"I–I…yes…Sensei." The decay user deflated.

"Perhaps rest is in order, your attack on U.A seems to be rather…taxing on you." The silhouette suggested helpfully.

"Ye–yeah, my head is kinda fuzzy right now." Tomura mumbled, completely contrasting his outburst just moments ago.

"Doctor, ensure that Tomura is well rested until we can properly heal his injuries." Sensei ordered the smaller man.

"Of course, All for One." The doctor bowed while leading the gray haired man out of the room.

For his part Kurogiri remained silent during the entire exchange, already knowing that his master intended to question him about their failed ambush. Right as the door to the bar clicked shut the shadow could feel the gaze of All for One bearing down on him from the tv screen.

"Kurogiri." The villain said with a thoughtful hum. "This…student, tell me more about them."

"Hmm, Tomura's description was not entirely inaccurate. They wore a suit of armor and wielded two swords at their hip." The warp user began, recalling his encounter with the student. "Apologies Master, but I was unable to get a look at their face due to their helmet obstructing my view."

"It is of no consequence. We can narrow down who they are at a separate point." All for One waved off the apology. "Their quirk, describe it to me."

As Kurogiri opened his mouth to answer the question he paused, now that he thought about it he wasn't exactly sure. The shadow clearly saw the wings and halo on the teen, yet that clearly wasn't it considering his later demonstrations. That power, whatever it was, managed to burn away his own quirk like it was nothing. And then there was the fact that the villain clearly saw the armored fighter summon a javelin seemingly from thin air.

"I…I am unsure, Master." Kurogiri answered with some hesitation. "He had wings and halo sprouting from his back, yet he also managed to repel my own quirk and summon a weapon from nothing."

"Repel your quirk you say?" All for One repeated, intrigue lacing his voice.

"Indeed, while I was in the midst of transporting the students I felt this…this growing heat from within." He recounted, thinking back to the incident. "It felt as though my entire being was on fire, burning me both inside and out." Kurogiri unconsciously winced, clearly remembering the sensation. "If I had not retreated then I don't believe I would be standing here today."

"A wise decision, I see now why you were wary to help the Nomu or Tomura with such a quirk close by." The screen hummed. "A quirk that directly counters yours is quite improbable, yet it appears that may not be the full extent of this student's abilities. You mentioned a weapon being summoned?"

"Yes, Tomura was about to finish off Eraserhead before he was struck by a golden javelin." The shadow confirmed with a nod. "I distinctly recall the student carrying swords and a book, but no javelin. That and the weapon disappeared along with it being…ethereal for lack of a better word."

"This…is most fascinating indeed. A quirk with such versatility is a rarity in even today's world. And to have such a power wielded against us…" All for One trailed off before continuing once more. "Kurogiri, do you believe we could turn this student to our cause?"

"Unfortunately, I believe that is out of the realm of possibilities, Master." The warp user replied quickly. "They were very stalwart in the defense of their teacher and classmates. If they are to join our side it will not be of their own volition."

"A pity, such potential could certainly be used for better ideals than upholding the status quo." The man let out a disappointed noise. "Then I suppose if they won't join us, we'll just have to remove them from the board all together."

"Master?" Kurogiri said, confusion in his voice.

"I am entrusting you with this secondary task along with providing counsel to Tomura. Gather whatever data you can regarding this student, his friends, family, and everything else in between." The villain ordered the warp user, leaving no room for argument. "I believe we'll need to take special care with this one."

With that final ominous message, the screen that showcased All for One clicked off, leaving Kurogiri alone in the bar. The villain set down the glass he was working on, intending to leave to begin working on his new assignment. However, just as he was about to use his quirk a sharp, stinging pain shot through his body. Kurogiri gave a small, painfilled gasp from the unwelcome sensation, his shadowy hand reaching over to lightly prod the area. Upon pulling his hand, yellow eyes narrowed worriedly at the sight.

Dampening his black fingertips were small, barely noticeable droplets of red, if it wasn't for his unique physiology Kurogiri might have missed them all together. The shadow's mind began to race with thoughts, trying to understand how could this be. His form should have already regenerated by now, yet the stinging pain was evident against that fact. He shouldn't even be capable of having his blood spilled.

'This is most troublesome.' Kurogiri thought, a seed of worry sporting in his mind. However, it was quickly quashed as the shadow shook his head. 'No matter, I can deal with it later. I should get to work on collecting information on that student.'

With that the villain returned to his task, unaware of the change that was soon to develop.

"Oh my God Mr. Gabriel we won 1 billion dollars, we can finally help the poor!"

"1 billion on red."

I was originally going to add a V1 scene, but I decided that it would better saved for another chapter (don't worry it will be soon). I also saw some people point out Kurogiri's lack of presence in the Nomu fight, which was a fair criticism. In my defense, I wanted to save the reveal that Izuku's attacks/Light was far more dangerous in this chapter. Though I'll admit I could have done better in hinting at that last chapter, I'll try to keep that in mind for next time.

Before I sign off I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for sticking with this story despite my abnormal schedule. Things have been rough recently, but its nice to know that someone out there is having fun with something dumb I created.

So, thank you, you guys truly are the best.

Next chapter: Ready, Steady, Go!
