So here it finally is...The finale! And here I want to say that while the Little Man blamed Dana's ability to resist the mental conditioning on the brain enhancing medicine, in truth it was a red herring, all the serum did was give her that strange psychic ability which was actually a very glitchy version of the Humanimal dream sharing ability that the serum awakened, no it was along her Humanimal soul that gave Dana the ability to better resist than the rest of her sisters and why her true personality was able to hold out as long as it did against the meek sex slave personality

So because he did not want to face his boss, Glass Joe took his dear sweet time nursing his cold...Eventually he did go back to work at the end of the week...But still gave Gerbasi the cold shoulder...Von Kaiser did tell Joe all the boxers were considering their options on what to do…

Then on Sunday, when Joe was relaxing at home, he heard the doorbell...He opened the door and was surprised to find Dana!

"Hey!" Dana said in once again her normal contralto voice, although this time she was no longer sultry as she was no longer playing to role of the seductress now she was simply cheerful "Are you surprised to see me?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around his neck

"Dana!" Joe exclaimed laughing a bit as she licked his cheek "Indeed I am! I did not expect to see you again so soon!"

They sat on the sofa as Dana told him the whole story.

"So...I took the potion and that did in fact banish the sex slave personality leaving me mostly back to my old self...But…" Dana sighed "...It's more complicated than that...The scientists...Did more than just hypnotic commands to me and my sisters...It's also...Hardwired into our DNA to bond to the first man we have sex with...Or it's something to do with hormones...Anyway...I'm still permanently bonded to you...Incapable of ever loving anyone else...And there is no way to change that short of...Completely changing my body chemistry...At least that's what I was told…"

Joe sighed "I suppose it was a bit much to ask that...It could be completely reversed...The scientists did know what they were doing when they were creating you and your sisters…" Joe quietly thought to himself if this was what Great Tiger would call Karma...Or maybe it was being called to task...He had punched would-be Lotharios who looked at his sister funny, yet he hadn't been a Saint himself having two one-night stands as a means of accepting pity sex, thinking about this situation this did seem to be the universe calling on him to prove himself better than the French stereotypes worse than merely the French being weak...Here he had been given a woman who had been genetically engineered to love only him, incapable of ever loving anyone else...Something many a man could only dream of...But here he saw...If he gave into temptation and cheated on such a creature...Than surely he would be a cad to end all cads!

"It's all right…" Joe finally said "...As long as you can disagree with me if I were to do something stupid or dangerous...I can live with this...Because blind obedience is not real love…"

"Deep down I always knew that…" Dana said "...That's what was revealed in the talks with the therapists, what seemed to be revealed was deep down...Some part of me...Always knew what I had to do to beat the curse...And that was to face the curse head-on..I had to have sex with a man who would neither make me his slave nor abandon me, but would work to help find me the cure...And then I would rise again like the Phoenix…"

"Ma Chere…" Joe said feeling a lump in his throat feeling like he was about to cry hearing this

"Also…" Dana said blushing a bit under her dark fur "...The doctors discovered something else while examining me…" She placed her hands on her belly "I'm pregnant!"

Glass Joe gasped "Oh Mon Dieu!"

"Uh Joe?" Dana was worried Joe might faint at that announcement

"I'm all right…" Joe said quickly getting back his bearings he then began to laugh while he would later learn that her ability to become pregnant with his child was because of her Humanimal soul activating the Humanimal ability to crossbreed with humans, Joe at the time, felt simply that the conceiving was Dana's ultimate act of defiance against her creators who intended their Mutant Mail Oder Brides to be a means for common men to have sex without reproducing, but no...Because this relationship was founded on love, not lust...This baby was made from pure love...And already Joe knew because of that this Baby would not be some hideous amalgamation of human and dog...No this baby would be beautiful and healthy...Whatever he or she looked like.

"I'm happy Dana…" Joe said taking her hands in his "...You are the best thing that ever happened to me...I never thought I would ever find true amour...But I have finally found the thing that makes life divine…"

And with that he pulled her in close for their first full kiss on the mouth…

So I realized I may have created a plot hole with some previously established characters who are also reincarnated Humanimals not being able to conceive with a Mutant Turtle but then I realized it's not really that much of a plot hole because most of their five thousand years most Humanimals couldn't have children with Humanimals of species they couldn't naturally hybridize with, so having children with a human is easy, while with a different species of Mutant the body is probably lagging behind the changes recently made in thr Humanimal universe
