The Date

Part 1

Hey, I know it's been awhile since I wrote this story.

I was busy on Fire in the Heart(rewrite) story. If you don't know what that is go check it out.

Now what was I going to say right now? Hmmm.

Oh right, if you read the title of this story? It means Fire Finn and Phoebe are going on a date.

Now on with the story.

In the Fire Kingdom, in Finn's room. Finn is in front of two clothing stands showing and showing two different outfits. The first one was his regular noble clothing and the second one has some armor piece on it and it looks fancy with a hint of royalty, but Finn just gave a frustrated sigh as picking a clothing is difficult and tiring.

'Oh Glob. I bet Phoebe ain't having the same problem as me' Finn said in his thoughts as the scene cut into the greenland and at the Treehouse.

In Phoebe's room, it shows her clothes scattered around her room as she lay on her bed and laying face down on her pillow as she couldn't find any clothing to wear on her date with the Flame Prince, AKA, Finn. Phoebe was freaking out all day as she tried to find what kind of clothes to wear for her date.

Back with Finn as he was pacing back and forward as he was having a difficult choice on what to wear. Finn continued to walk back and forward as he was worried about his date.

Finn let out another frustrated sigh, but then he heard a knock on his door.

"Yeah! Who is it?" Finn shouted as he walked towards the door.

"It's me, your mother," Minerva said outside his door.

Finn opens his door and sees his mother with the same smile she always shows, then she lifts her eyebrow as she sees her son in his pajamas and not

"Oh Finn, aren't you supposed to get ready for your date?" Minerva asked Finn as she wanted to know why isn't he getting ready.

Finn sighs as he points at his clothing.

"I don't know what to wear? I have never been on a date before or even know how that date works?" Finn said as he was having trouble deciding on what to wear.

Minerva just smiles at her son as she gently pats his shoulders.

"Finn, you'll do fine, you don't have to be perfect for her just be yourself and talk about how beautiful she looks" Minerva said as she was giving Finn advice on dating.

Finn smiles at his mother"Thank mom" Finn thanks his mother."Now do you mind stepping out of my room. I have to change for my date" Finn said to his mother.

Minerva nodded her head as she walked out of his room so he could get ready for his the door closed, Finn walked to the stand where his clothes were. Finn chose the first one. Finn began to get dressed as he wore his royalty clothes.'Okay, I can do this' Finn thought in his head.

Minerva stood outside of Finn's room as she wanted to see Finn go on his first date. Then he opened the door, wearing his casual royalty clothes. Minerva smiles as her son is ready.

"You look quite handsome, my baby boy" Minerva said as she made Finn blush.

"M-mom" Finn whined as his mom was embarrassing the young Flame Prince.

Minerva giggles at her son's embarrassment as she shuffles her son's hair.

"Now give that girl a good time" Minerva said as she gave a thumbs up and a wink.

Finn nodded as he kissed his mom's cheek and headed off as some Flame guard escorted their Flame Prince to the border for his safety.

Now back with Phoebe as she started to walk back and forward as she wasn't ready yet.

"Ugh!" Phoebe groaned as she threw more of her clothes to the ground as all her clothes were normal."All my clothes are just too normal to date a prince" Phoebe said as she looked through her closet for a perfect dress.

Then her window opens, Phoebe gasps as she grabs her sword from next to her bed as she prepares to fight. But then she lowered her weapon as she knew who it was.

The figure has black raven hair, grey pale skin and two little bite marks on her neck.

Phoebe sighs"Marceline, what are you doing here?" Phoebe asked as she knew this woman.

Marceline flew around her."Oh nothing just heard that you're going on a date with a hot prince. No pun intended" Marceline said with a little smirk on her face.

Phoebe's eyes widen"W-who told you?" Phoebe asked Marcy on how she knew about her date.

Marceline smirked some more."Oh, Bonnie told. She told me that you have a date with the Flame prince of the Fire Kingdom. Am I right?" Marceline asked as she continued to smirk some more.

Phoebe blushes the same color of her hair. Phoebe nodded"Y-yes" Phoebe spoke in a nervous tone."I do have a date with a Prince of the Fire Kingdom" Phoebe said.

Marceline raises her eyebrow in curiosity"Ooooh. Now I'm curious. Now pray tell who is this hot Prince that has claimed your heart?" Marceline asked the blushing Human as Phoebe blushed some more.

"Why do you hate me so much?" Phoebe asked the vampire queen, as she wanted to know why she tormented her so much.

Marceline shrugged as she hovered closer to her"I don't hate you. I'm just watching over you and I like teasing you. It's just our way of our friendship" Marceline told Phoebe."Now you didn't answer my question. Who is this Prince that claimed your heart?" Marceline asked again.

Phoebe still blushing but she took a deep breath."His name is Prince Finn and as you know he is the Prince of the Fire Kingdom" Phoebe told Marcy about Finn."and he a nice guy, he gave me a tour to the Fire Palace and met his maid"Phoebe said as she was telling Marcy how nice he is.

"Hmmm, so he is nice but from what I gather from LSP gossip, he quite the looker she said, and if the other princess hears of this that you're dating him, they will be jealous and they will hate you for getting your hands on a good looking Prince."Marceline said.

Phoebe rolled her eyes as she mentioned the other Princess that she rescued from the Ice King. but all the other Princess expect a Handsome hero to rescue them, but expect they got her. The other Princess complained about her being a hero and a girl. Phoebe only got respect from Bonnie, Marceline and Jungle Princess. LSP is just that one annoying person that has gossip.

"Yeah, like I would care, what they think."Phoebe said as she wouldn't care what they think about her dating Finn.

Marceline then played with Phoebe hair"Oooh, you're not gonna let those Princess take away your future man" Marceline said teasingly.

Phoebe Blush when Marceline said that. Phoebe shook her head"N-no, it's not like that. I just met him, a-and i don't know if this is even a date" Phoebe walked over to her bed and sat down"And I said, yes, when he asked me out." Phoebe said.

Marceline sat beside her and patted Phoebe's shoulder gentilly."Hey, don't worry. I only came to tease you, not make you feel bad" Phoebe looked up to Marceline as she was smiling."hey cheer up, maybe I could help you for your big date" Marceline said with a smile on her face.

Phoebe smiled too"Thank you Marcy" Phoebe hugging Marcy."But… I'm having problems picking out clothes for my date" Phoebe said as she pointed at her scattered clothes.

Marceline chuckled a bit"Yeah, I can see that. Well lucky for you, I'll help you with your clothing problem" Marceline said as she began to pick out her clothes.

Moments later Phoebe wore a dress.(the dress that is similar to the Vault of Bone.) Phoebe blushed brightly as the dress reached to her knee.

"M-marcy, are you sure about this?" Phoebe as she was still blushing about the choice of dress that Marceline picked out.

Marceline nodded"Yep, that'll make the Flame Prince blush so much, that'll he'll stutter" Marceline said.

Phoebe still blushing"I'm going on a date Marcy, not getting married yet" Phoebe covers her mouth and blush when she mentions marriage.

Marceline burst out laughing when Phoebe said that"Hahaha. Planning your future wedding with the Prince?" Marceline said in a teasingly tone.

Phoebe shook her head violently as she covered her face with her hands as she wanted to change the subject, she looked at the clock and her eyes widened.

"Oh shoot! I'm gonna be late!" Phoebe exclaimed as she ran down stairs to the living room and to the door"Sorry Marcy, I have to go!" Phoebe shouted as she closed the door behind her and headed off to her date.

Marceline smirk as she turns invisible as follows to see how this date turns out.

Meanwhile, at the border of the Fire Kingdom, Finn and his guards arrive at the border as he waits for Phoebe.

Phoebe was almost there to the border of the Fire Kingdom as she kept running.

Moment laters Finn was pacing back and forward as he still waited for Phoebe, but then he could hear someone running towards his direction, he looked and saw a girl he had never seen before but then he quickly noticed her face and Finn blushed.

"P-Phoebe?" Finn said shockingly as this was the first time he saw her without the fireproof Hazmat suit and to Finn, she looked beautiful, her red scarlet hair and her red eyes and the dress made her more beautiful.

Phoebe nodded"Y-Yeah, it's me" Phoebe said nervously as she blush.

Finn still blushing."W-wow, you look beautiful" Finn said as he was still blushing like crazy.

Phoebe's face blushed to the color of her hair"T-thanks" Phoebe just said as she couldn't find any words to say.

"Y-your welcome" Finn said as he rubbed the back of his neck as he was quite nervous about what to say.

Phoebe looked at him"So-o-o are you ready for our date?" Phoebe asked him as she was still blushing.

Finn nodded his head"Yeah, I'm ready" Finn said as he looked back to his guards that their escorts were no longer needed.

The Guards understood that look and headed back to the Fire Palace.

Finn looked at Phoebe"So do you have any place that you like to hang out?" Finn asked.

Phoebe thought about it for a bit, she hasn't thought this through as this is their first date.

Finn clears his throat, getting Phoebe's attention."How about you show me your hero works?" Finn said.

Phoebe liked that idea and nodded"that'll work." Phoebe sighs"Geez, planning a date is really complicated" Phoebe said.

"Hey, it's not bad so far. We're here aren't we" Finn said as he tried to make her feel better.

"Yeah, come on. I'll show you around" Phoebe told Finn as she started to go back to the grassland to show Finn around the land.

Finn follows her as he wonders what she is going to show scene faded to black.
