Date Took A Dimensional Turn
This chapter is gonna be epic!
This chapter is where Flame Finn and Human Phoebe meet the original AT.
Now I know some of you are really excited about this chapter or not.
Okay, enough of that, let's get on with the story.
I don't own Adventure Time or any of the original characters, and the inspiration of this story came from DoodleDimension arts... sort of.
Finn and Phoebe left Marceline and June and continued on their date. Phoebe was up ahead and Finn was following behind her as he continued to look around him as he wanted to see the outside world.
Phoebe looked around to see and show Finn around, she turned her head and saw Finn and saw how he was smiling a lot and enjoying himself, but Phoebe then blush as his flaming blonde hair was giving off a flare. Phoebe can't help to admit that Finn looks good without his hat, his bear hat was cute but seeing the fiery blonde hair is something.
Finn looks around and then looks back at Phoebe and notices her staring at him. Phoebe flinches and looks away from him with a huge blush on her face, Finn just looks confused for a moment but he just smiles and they continue to walk.
Meanwhile back in Prismo's room.
Prismo continues to watch this Alternate Universe. This universe was interesting to watch and see. This Flame Finn and Human Phoebe were getting along well, but the original Finn and Phoebe were no longer together as the original Phoebe is running her Kingdom and the original Finn is doing hero work.
Prismo felt bad for Human Finn as he remembered that his friend, the Cosmic Owl, gave Finn a dream, and he wasn't really specific. the dream that he gave him, CO only said to him,'you blew it' he said, and Jake encouraged him to do it, making Finn dating life difficult.
Prismo then pinch the bridge of his nose and sigh, Prismo knew that he can't interfere with other Cosmic business.
Prismo then made his remote appear by his hand and click a button and changing it back to the original ooo, he click some buttons to see how everyone is doing, he see his friend Jake hanging with his Lady, Finn doing some sword swinging, and as Prismo click and he see Ice King doing some sort of ritual in the middle of the Grassland.
Prismo sighed as he was sort of curious on what he was doing, he pushed the unmute button to listen in on the crazy old man.
"I have everything to start the ritual" Ice King said as he was putting stuff onto the ritual circle as he was putting his Fanfiction of Fionna onto the ritual circle and also putting in some Finn's hair onto the circle.(Ice King took it from him while he was asleep).
"Now let the ritual begin!" Ice King excitedly shouted as he started to chant some words.
Back in the Time room as Prismo was watching the Ice King saying the chant on the wall TV as Prismo knew what he was doing, he sighed deeply and spoke"Is this guy really trying to bring Fionna and Cake alive again?" he asked as there was nobody to answer his question.
Ice King continued to chant his spell as Prismo knew this spell was going to be a failure as he watched him doing his chant as he was surprised as the Ice King chant exploded in front of him.
Prismo chuckled a bit as seeing the failure of the spell as he saw the Ice King jumping in anger as he failed to bring his FanFictional character to life, so Ice King flapped his beard and headed back to his Ice Kingdom.
Prismo got done chuckling as his eyes caught something, he took a closer look as a spark in the middle of the circle ritual and then it exploded again but this time a portal opened. Prismo was surprised as the Ice King spell worked but where did this portal lead to?
Prismo looks where this portal leads to and to his shock as this portal leads to the other ooo where he was watching before, he didn't know what to do as right now he can not close this portal or interfere with Dimensional travel and that was the rule to not interfere.
Prismo didn't know what to do but to watch what happened. Prismo clicks the button to his remote and changes it to the other channel where the alternate version of ooo.
Back at the alternate ooo.
Bonnie is working in her lab typing something in her computer, but then she hears a beeping coming from her other computer. Bonnie then slid to the other computer on her swivel chair, as she looked into her other computer, the computer was showing a huge energy surge in the grassland, she then tried to find the location of the energy surge and it showed that it's not far from Phoebe's house.
Bonnie then looks for the phone to call Phoebe to tell her about the energy surge.
Meanwhile back in the original ooo and in the other Candy Kingdom.
Bonnie was getting the same reading as the alternate Bonnie. Bonnie grabbed her phone as it was covered in a pile of paper to call Finn.
Back in the Alternate ooo.
Phoebe decided to show Finn her house and also show him around and meet her neighbor the water nymph sisters, and also show him all of the gold she earned from all the dungeon run and fighting ancient monsters to get it.
As they were walking to Phoebe's home. Finn sees a big treehouse that they were walking towards, Finn assumes this was Phoebe's house.
The two teens reach the treehouse and Finn looks at the house as he was kind of amazed that Phoebe lives here.
Phoebe was thinking that taking Finn to her house was a bad idea, she may have forgotten to put the dishes away and left her pant-" She just realized what she forgot to put away, she forgot to put away her panties, they were just laying on the couch in a basket.
Phoebe blush again, as she thinks what would Finn think of her clothing and undergarment just laying in her basket, would Finn think of her and never talk to her again. She was going through her mind to get out of showing Finn her house and then something happened.
The two teens heard an explosion, the two teens looked at each other with a confused look on their faces, so they ran towards the sound of the explosion and when they got there, there was a blue portal there. The two took a closer look at it.
Finn and Phoebe took a closer look at it and it was giving off some energy, the two wonder where this led to?
Phoebe then looked at Finn and spoke up"Where do you think this leads to?" She asked the Flame Prince as he shrugged a bit as he had no idea what to do in this situation as this was the first time seeing this.
Phoebe examined the portal a little closer and she was curious where this came from and wondered what it goes to. Phoebe then had an idea, she looked back at Finn with a smile."Finn, you want to see where this led to?" Phoebe asked her date as she wanted Finn to have an Adventure.
Finn was shocked to hear this, but he always wanted to know what adventuring was like so he quickly nodded.
Phoebe smiled as Finn nodded yes to this."Awesome! Wait here, I'll be right back to get some of my things" Phoebe said as she ran back to her house to get some of her adventuring gear from the treehouse.
Finn saw her running back to her house to get some of her things, so he waited by the portal, but then he heard a small fart behind him. No it wasn't Finn, it came from a rock that was shaking. Finn knows that rocks don't shake, so he walked over to the rock and picked it up, so he picked it up and the rock was hollow out and the one who was using the rock was Flambo.
Finn put his hands on his hip and spoke up,"Flambo? What are you hiding under a rock, and what are you doing?' Finn asked why Flambo was hiding under a rock for some reason.
Flambo just chuckled a bit and replied,"Oh, I was in the Fire Kingdom and heard a rumor that you got yourself a date with the hero of ooo, and gotta say you are a lucky one" Flambo said with a teasing smirk.
Finn blush a little as how did the whole Fire Kingdom know that he was now dating now and this was embarrassing now. The whole Fire Kingdom knows that he is now dating and they're gonna be so nice to him, to know that he found someone he likes now.
Finn shook off the blush and look down at Flambo with a straight face and spoke up"Flambo, I want you to sent my mother a message" Flambo look at Finn with a concern look."I need you to tell her that I'm going through this portal with Phoebe. You got that?" Finn asked as he was making sure that Flambo got it.
Flambo nodded at this"So you want me to tell your mom the Flame Queen?" Finn nodded towards the little Flambit with a serious look. Flambo then just look at the Prince for a while and just sigh"Alright, I'll tell her, but you know that she'll come and get you, you know that" Flambo said as Finn know that his mom would come and get him for going into a portal that possibly lead to another world.
Finn then nodded"Yes exactly that," Finn looked at the portal with a serious expression and with a slight smile"I alway wanted to know what being an adventurer was like and now this is my chance" Finn said as Flambo knew the Queen Minerva may not be happy about this.
Flambo just sighs at the Flame Prince"Okay, but just be careful" the Flambit told the Prince as he turn away from him as he was about to head towards the Fire Kingdom as Finn spoke once more.
"I will be Flambo, I'm just pumped up about this" Finn said with excitement in his voice as he saw Flambo running towards the Fire Kingdom to tell his mom.
Finn waited for Phoebe and he saw the treehouse really far away, so it took a while to get ready. Finn thought it wouldn't hurt to take a peek a bit.
Finn then walked in front of the portal and took a deep breath and closed his eyes and slowly walked through the portal.
Finn walked through the portal and opened his eyes and saw it was ooo again. Finn then frowned in disappointment as he was really expecting to see something new,"Aww What!?" Finn sighs in disappointment as he looks at the treehouse"Well, better tell Phoebe this portal was a dud" Finn said as he walked over to the treehouse to tell Phoebe the bad news.
Finn reached the treehouse, Finn then made his hand cool down a bit as he didn't want to burn the house down into ashes. Finn knocks on the door, so he can tell Phoebe that the portal is a no go.
Finn could hear someone approaching the door and see the doorknob handle rattle a bit, but when that door opened he got the surprise of his life. He expects Phoebe to open the door, but he sees a boy with a white bear hat, light blue shirt and dark blue shorts.
A while ago, Finn the Human was sitting on his chair clicking his teeth and then he heard the door knock. Finn wondered who it was, so he got off his chair and walked to the door to see who it was. Finn walked to his door and opened it, but Finn was to see who it was. It was a boy with royal Flame clothing, but his face was so similar that this guy looked like him, but then he saw the Royal Flame Gem that Flame Princess has.
Both the teens looked at each other with confusement and shock and the two shouted in their mind.
"WHAAAAT!?" the two shouted in their heads.
Meanwhile back with human Phoebe. She was getting her sword and her satchel with lots of magical stuff in there. But as she was getting ready, she heard her phone going off. So Phoebe walked to her phone and answered it.
"Hello?" Phoebe spoke on the phone and she heard Bonnie on the other line.
Phoebe!? Oh thank glob I got a hold of you" Bonnie said as she sounded like something bad happened.
Phoebe was now worried, this was the second time hearing her sound like this. The first time was when the Lich escaped from the Amber Prison."What is Bonnie?" Phoebe asked as she wanted to know what was going on, is the Lich back, is the Ice King planning something again. Phoebe didn't know what was going on.
"Phoebe, I detected some energy surge not far from the treehouse, do you see from your house?' Bonnie asked.
Phoebe sighs in relief as she knows what Bonnie was talking about, she was talking about the portal that appears not too far from the treehouse.
"Oh, you had me worried there for a bit. I thought the Lich may have returned or the Ice King is planning something again. I know what you're talking about" She walked over to the window and saw the portal in the distance,"You mean the portal that just showed up, right?" Phoebe said as she heard Bonnie gasp on the other line.
"You mean a portal just appeared and you didn't tell me that it got there?" Bonnie asked why Phoebe didn't tell her about the portal.
"Hey, me and Finn just discover it just now, it doesn't seem to harm no one" Phoebe told Bonnie as she grabbed some of the cyclops tears that she got from the cyclops."Anyway me and Finn were just thinking about seeing what's on the other side" Phoebe said as she finally got everything for the trip onto the other side.
Phoebe couldn't tell that Bonnie was not agreeing to the idea,"Phoebe I don't think it is a good idea. This is the first portal that you have discovered, we don't know what would happen if you cross over it? It may cause tissue damage, bone structure to weaken or may affect your organs" Bonnie said as she was telling her what would happen if she went through the portal and the possibility it may mess up her body.
Phoebe thought about and Bonnie may be right about, if she and Finn go through that portal it may hurt them, so she sadly sigh and spoke on the phone"Okay, me and Finn won't go through the portal" Phoebe told Bonnie as she grabbed her spyglass with her left hand and look through it to see if Finn was still there, but her eyes widened in fear to not see Finn there,"Uh oh" Phoebe said as bonnie heard that.
"What do you mean 'uh oh' what's going on?" Bonnie asked as something was going on the other side.
Phoebe put the spyglass down and replied"Oh, nothing is going on. I just realized I had to put my clothes away. That's why I said 'uh oh' okay so there is nothing to worry about." Phoebe half-lied as she didn't want her to know or tell her that Finn went through the portal, and the truth is she hasn't put her clothes away."Anyway I gotta go tell Finn about it, see you later!" Phoebe said as she hung up the phone and ran out of the treehouse and ran fast towards the portal.
Phoebe got back to the portal and saw a burn footsteps going through the portal. Phoebe had no choice, she had to go through the portal to get Finn back, it doesn't matter that her body got hurt or damaged from the portal.
Phoebe took a deep breath and ran straight through the portal, as she got through the other side she was still in the grassland.
"What the…" Phoebe looked around to spot the difference around her surroundings, but everywhere around her was exactly the same, but she then spotted some burnt footprints headed straight for the treehouse,"Finn must be over at the treehouse" Phoebe said as she ran back to the treehouse again.
Phoebe reached the treehouse, she tried to open the door, but it was locked,"What the? This door was unlocked when I left" Phoebe said as she reached into her pocket and grabbed the keys to the treehouse. She slid the key into the keyhole and opened the door.
Phoebe enters the house and everything is the same, but then she voices upstairs. So she went upstairs to see if Finn was there. As she got there, she saw Finn sitting at the dinner table, eating coal, and her eyes widened in shock as she saw a boy who looked exactly like Finn, but he Human.
Flame Finn sees Phoebe and smiles"Pheeb, it's good to see you." Finn said excitedly as he scooted over to make room for her to sit."Sit down with us," Finn told her as she took a seat.
Phoebe sat across from Finn's counterpart and she waved'Um, hello and who might you be?" Phoebe asked as she could possibly know this was Finn, but a Human verizon.
Human Finn just smiles at her"Name Finn the human" Human Finn introduces himself to the heroine.
Human Phoebe was now shocked to hear that he was Human too. Phoebe looks at both the Finns and the two of them have the same facial and good looking. 'Wait, why did I say good looking?' Phoebe thought in her head as she continued to process this information.
Phoebe then took a deep breath and spoke again,"So Finns" the two looked at her"How did you two meet each other?" Phoebe asked the two Finns.
Both the Finns looked at each other and chuckled a bit and Human Finn then replied"Well we have a story to tell you" Human Finn said as the two began to tell part of the story.
Flashback a while ago.
Back where we left off the Finns as they kept looking at each other with shocked expressions and they're screaming in their head.
Flame Finn then broke the silent"Y-you look like me!" Flame Finn pointed at his Human self.
"And you look like me!" Human Finn said back as he pointed at Flame Finn as the two examined each other and they were freaking out.
Human Finn didn't know what to do, but he heard his phone ringing upstairs, so he turned and went to answer it and see who was calling. Flame Finn sees him entering back into the house, so he lets himself in and follows his counterpart into the house.
Flame Finn walked upstairs and saw his Human self answer the phone and heard him speak to the phone that it was called. Flame Finn doesn't own a phone or know what it was?
Flame Finn lowered his body temperature before he entered the treehouse, so he wouldn't leave burnt food marks on his counterpart's floors.
Human Finn"H-hello, who might be calling?" Finn asked as he wondered who was calling him.
Princess Bubblegum was on the phone and getting to the point"Finn! There is some energy surge not too far from your house. Do you see it from your house?" PB asked.
Finn looked back and saw his Flame counter parts checking his surroundings and Human replied back on the phone"Does this energy surge may look like someone who looks like you but it is a Flame elemental?' Finn asked Princess Bubblegum.
PB was confused at that answer as why would Finn say that, but unless,"Finn, who is there with you?" PB asked as Human Finn was sweating nervously as Flame Finn was in the back and he was holding one of his swords.
"Umm…" Finn looked back to see one of his swords in his counterpart hand and Human Finn didn't know what to say to PB."...Would you believe me that there is another Finn in ooo?" H-Finn asked as he didn't know what to do.
PB was now more confused now as she spoke again "Well it could be possible, but you need proof to show me" PB said.
"Well the proof that you need is in my house and he is standing right there" Finn whispered into the phone as he didn't want his counterpart to hear him.
PB's eyes widened as she knew dimensional travel was a theory but to be told that dimensional travel is scientifically possible.
PB got off her chair and got her coat on"Finn stay right there and don't let the other you leave!" PB told H-Finn as she hung up the phone.
H-Finn just stood there with the phone in his hand and then he put it away and went to sit down at the dinner table.
Flame Finn sat across from him, still confused that he is seeing himself as a Human, but he broke the silence.
"So… who was on the phone?" Flame Finn asked his fellow self.
H-Finn look at Flame-Finn and replied,"That was Princess Bubblegum on the phone and she wants to meet you" H-Finn said as Flame Finn as he met his Princess Bubblegum from his ooo, but meeting another Princess Bubblegum from this universe might interesting.
"Oh, I just met my Princess Bubblegum in my ooo just yesterday and no meeting another Princess Bubblegum, this other ooo is really getting interesting" Flame Finn said as H-Finn was surprised as there was another PB in his ooo.
H-Finn didn't want to sound rude but he wanted to know"Hey Finn, are you a hero in your ooo too?" H-Finn asked his counterpart if he was a hero?
Flame Finn shook his head,"Nope, I am Finn merten Cambell, the Flame Prince of the Fire Kingdom and the son of Queen Minerva Cambell" Flame Finn said with pride.
Human Finn was surprised that he was a Prince in his ooo, but then who is the hero of ooo in his world?'Wait? Son of Queen Minerva Cambell, his mom?!' Human Finn asked in his head.
"You have a mom?" Human Finn asked as he wanted to know what his mom looked like.
Flame Finn nodded as he was curious. Why would his counterpart ask,"Yep, Mom is a great leader and a strong one. You don't want to get on her bad side" Finn told his Human self as he shuddered as he still remembered when someone threatened his mother and she punched that guy out of the Fire Kingdom, and that's not a metaphor she literally punched that guy out of the Fire Kingdom and was never seen again.
H-Finn sees Flame Finn shudder as he mentions his mother, H-Finn couldn't help but shudder too as he remembers the strength and the power of motherhood.
"Your mom must be a strong woman to not miss with, and she also sounds terrifying how you made it sound" H-Finn said.
Flame Finn nodded,"Yep," Flame Finn looked around and saw a bunch of mounts attached to the wall of monsters, weapons, and a picture of H-Finn and a yellow dog by his side."So you're a hero on your ooo and not a Prince?" Flame Finn asked his Human counterpart.
H-Finn nodded his head"Yeah, I'm a hero, the Champion of ooo, but I used to be a King one time ago" H-Finn said as he rubbed the back of his neck as he remembered the Goblin Kingdom.
Flame Finn raised an eyebrow as he was sort of surprised,"You used to be a King?" Flame Finn asked. And what Kingdom did he rule while he was King?
H-Finn nodded"Yeah, I was only a King for one day, and the reason I stopped being King is because the rule in the Goblin Kingdom was weird" H-Finn said.
Flame Finn heard the rumor that the Goblin Kingdom rules were weird and hearing that from himself would be understandable.
"So who is now ruling the Fire Kingdom in this ooo?" Flame Finn asked as he would like to meet this Fire Kingdom ruler and possibly get along.
H-Finn sort of flinched at the answer as he would have to tell that his ex-girlfriend was now the ruler of the Fire Kingdom and right now she still might be mad at him for the whole Ice King biz fight thing, but it wouldn't hurt to tell him this.
"Well the one ruling the Fire Kingdom is Flame Princess, she is also my ex" H-Finn said as he lowered his head in shame as he still regret hurting her and using her trust to fight the Ice King.
Flame Finn sees the pain in his eyes as he was in a relationship with the Flame Princess of the Fire Kingdom and how their relationship ended, but he doesn't want to bring back painful memories again, so he decided to not dwell on it.
"So I see… you don't have to tell me if you want to" Flame Finn told H-Finn as he gave a small smile, but then Flame Finn had an idea, he put his palm together and put against his mouth and made fart noises and made H-Finn laugh.
"HAHAHA!" H-Finn laughed so hard he fell out of his seat and Flame Finn chuckled. H-Finn stopped laughing and sat back on his seat and spoke again"Thank man, I needed that" H-Finn said as both of them smiled.
The two Finn continue to talked to each other
Flashback ended, back in the present.
"And that's how we got to know each other and you came into the story Pheeb" Flame Finn told their story and she was amazed.
"Wow, that was some story, and you two got along real fine, knowing that you're both Finn and all" Phoebe said as she saw Flame Finn looking around like something was wrong or something coming."Ummm, Finn what up?" Phoebe asked.
Finn stood up from his seat and spoke"I sense someone approaching the house at a high speed" Flame Finn said, making H-Finn confused and so Phoebe.
Phoebe stood up too and grabbed one of the swords from one of the mounts and H-Finn ready his grass sword and Flame Finn made a lava sword appear in his hand as they were ready to fight whatever is approaching them.
Then they see a Flame wolf break through the wall and two people on it.
'Good thing this isn't my house or either that I'll be very mad' Phoebe said in her mind.
Phoebe was about to strike them until she stopped and saw who was riding it. Flame Finn was about to strike too but he saw what Phoebe saw her too. It was a Flame Girl and a candy person who had a Flame shield cast on him.
The Flame Girl got off the Flame wolf and walked toward H-Finn and she didn't notice the other two there.
Phoebe looked at this Flame girl and she could see the resemblance, she looked like her. Phoebe saw the Ruby Gem on her forehead, it was exactly the same as Flame Finn, she could tell that she was a Princess.
The Flame Princess walked towards H-Finn, but she turned her head and noticed the other two with him. She looked at the Human girl as she looked familiar and looked towards the other and stopped.
FP looks at the Flame boy who has the same face as Finn but she sees the royal Ruby Gem on his forehead.
Flame Finn sees the Flame Girl looking at him and he could see that she has the same beauty as Phoebe, but then she looks at Phoebe.
Then Phoebe then spoke up,"H-Hi, my name is Phoebe and this Finn too" Phoebe said making this convocation awkward and confusing for the Flame girl.
Phoebe then put the sword down, and so did the Finns.
Flame Finn could sense the Flame in her was weakened, like some made her weak on purpose, there wasn't much power coming from her.
Flame Finn then spoke to this Flame Princess,"You've been weakened" FP looked at this Finn as how did he know that she was weak and was poisoned by her treacherous handmaiden."you're not giving a lot of flames and you've seem pale" Flame Finn said as he surprise FP.
FP looked down and then spoke up"I've been slowly poisoned by my treacherous handmaiden. Now my powers are weakened and… and the Flame Lord has freed my father and threatened to marry me" FP told them.
Flame Finn and Phoebe heard marriage and this anger Flame Finn as did Phoebe as she can't imagine herself getting marry or being forced to get marry, she look at her counterpart as she and Flame Princess are the same person, she then gripped her fist and and wanted to know who was this Flame Lord that try to marry her counterpart.
Flame Finn asked "Who was the one that tried to marry you?' Flame Finn asked.
"Yeah, who is it?" H-Finn asked too as he wants to help FP.
"His name is Jon Don if I remember correctly" FP said as Flame Finn flinched that name and he frowned in anger as he also remembered him too.
"Oh, Jon Don." Finn said as his flaming hair gave off a bright flare as Jon Don was mentioned in this and he looked pissed."I remember that bastard" Flame Finn spoke in a venomous tone.
Phoebe, H-Finn and FP look scared as his tone changes as they were now afraid.
"Umm, Finn? Do you know this Jon Don guy?" Phoebe asked as he calmed down a bit and nodded.
"Yeah, back then in our ooo. My Jon Don tried to marry my Mother for the throne and she refused to marry him. He tied to his magic to brainwash her and control her. but mom was immune to the mind magic and she bashied him and took his status away" Flame Finn told his story and how he hated him.
Flame Finn walked over to the hole that the Flame wolf made as he looked ready to jump out.
"Umm, Dude what are you doing?" H-Finn asked as Flame Finn looked back at him.
"I'm going to the Fire Kingdom to teach Jon Don a lesson" Flame Finn replied back to him.
Then the Flame Princess protested"You can't go to the Fire Kingdom with a plan!" FP said as Flame Finn replied back to her.
"Like my ancestors used to say and said by my mother. I have a plan…" his body began to flare up"... Attack" Flame Finn said as he flew out of the hole and headed straight to the Fire Kingdom.
Phoebe, H-Finn, C.B and Flame Princess stood still. H-Finn went back into his room and grabbed two Fire-Proof suits.
"We need to go after him" H-Finn said as he passed one his Fire-Proof suit to Phoebe"He may be strong, but can he handle Flame King and Jon Don on his own?" H-Finn asked as he started to put on his Fire-Proof suit as did Phoebe.
Phoebe thought about it, could his Finn take on Flame Princess' father and this Jon Don guy. Phoebe has never seen him fight before, but let's hope he is strong enough to handle his own for a bit.
FP didn't know what to say or what to do, but to get back on the Flame Wolf with C.B and Follow Flame Finn to the Fire Kingdom.
Back at the Portal.
The portal stood there until someone walked through and it was Queen Minerva and by her side was her champion Susan Strong and Finn's maid Marie as they walked through the portal.
Minerva didn't look happy as her son had crossed the portal without guards, but as she looked around it was still ooo, but she noticed there was something different about this place. Minerva then uses her heat sense to search for her son and Phoebe.
