"Josh? Pick up. I have the food being brought over in an hour and i need you set up the tables like you said you would. Call me back." Said a brunette woman hanging up her call on her ear piece. "Relax Evelyn. He must be busy in the backyard. Yeah." The woman said to herself breathing in and out to calm down. Its been a stressing week as their daughter Chloe is ready to move away to her apartment close to her college. Evelyn and Josh wanted to throw her a going away party with family and friends. But lately she noticed Josh has been off pushing her and Chloe away making excuses. She pulled in front of the house seeing a car parked in Josh's spot and his car on the driveway. Evelyn got out with her purse and bag holding Chloe's going away present looking at the plate. "Whats Pamela doing here?" Said Evelyn on her way inside. She opened the door with her house keys going inside seeing noting out of place except seeing the food tray being set by a ginger woman in the dining room. "Pamela? What are you doing here?" Said Evelyn walking over. "Oh Josh called asked if i was able help him with the party." Said Pamela. "Alright well im going to head upstairs to get ready." Said Evelyn leaving her alone. She went upstairs down the hall but stopped seeing the bedroom thats was half empty and full of a few boxes. Evelyn walked inside sinking in the long memories she shared with Chloe when she was growing up. She walked over to a picture frame of her and Chloe smiling at her high school graduation and at the bottom corner was a small photo of little Chloe laughing with her grandfather on the couch. "Hey Hon. Back early from shopping?" Said a man walking by. "Yeah. I noticed Pamela waa here. Told me you asked her for help." Said Evelyn facing him.
"I was fixing some things in the backyard and the garage. Chloe is still putting her stuff in our storage unit wont be back for a bit." Said The man kissing her cheekbone. "Well i gonna run a quick shower and get ready before anyone comes over." Said Evelyn. She passed him to go to their bedroom grabbing her clothes and went to the bathroom. Josh walked down to the basement to grab some wine bottles that looked to be good. He grabbed two bottles looking at them for a moment until a pair of hands snakes up from around his waist to his chest then turned around fast seeing it was Pamela. "What?" Said Josh looking at the stairs in case anyone was coming. "What do you mean,'what'? We been together since Cleo was eight." Said Pamela. "Chloe. And i mean what do you want? Another round?" Said Josh putting the bottles back and grabbed another one. "What do you think?" Said Pamela cupping his butt. "No. Bad idea its Chloes last day before she leaves the City." Said Josh. "No its a great idea. Everyone will be busy." Said Pamela. "Not tonight we had our fun two hours ago." Said Josh finding the right bottle and left her alone. Pamela narrowed her eyes growling in frustration before getting an idea.
Hours gone by as everyone came from friends, family, to neighbors enjoying the party. Evelyn smiled at Chloe who had her brunette hair styled in a wolf cut emo cut wearing her designed outfit approaching with the gift bag from earlier. "Here is a little going away gift. Thought you would use this all the time." Said Evelyn handing it to her. She watched Chloe take it and pulled it showing it was a spiral sketch pad with necessary pencils and clay eraser. "Thanks mom. I love it." Said Chloe hugging her around the waist. She looked then looked around seeing no sign of Josh as Evelyn did too noticed he not with everyone and Pamela was gone to. "I think hes inside let me go see." Said Evelyn going inside. She went in looking around the living room, guest rooms, basement, and went upstairs. Walking down the hall looking in Chloes room and the two other guest rooms until a bang was heard in the master bedroom. "We shouldn't be d-" "Oh come on thats your big friend is telling me." Said Pamela. Chloe walked in going upstairs to get something from her room and stopped to Evelyn push open the door. "Evelyn?!" Sias Josh looking over Pamela to Evelyn. "About fucking time. Wanna join?" Said Pamela acting innocent. "Everything okay mom?" Said Chloe seeing looked upset. Josh struggled to get out of the belts tied to his wrist and ankles but no use even with a half naked Pamela riding him. "Not really. Go back with everyone. Im gonna have a talk with your father and Pamela." Said Evelyn walking closing the door. "You son of a bitch." She says. "Ev-" "Shut up. I shouldve seen the fucking red flags. You want a divorce you got one and you. Get the fuck out of my house!" Said Evelyn. Pamela rolled here eyes getting off of Josh putting her panties on fixing her dress up and her hair. She passed Evelyn wiping the corner of her mouth watching Evelyn glaring daggers at her. Punch! "Ow! You fucking bitch!" Said Pamela holding her bleeding nose. She felt Evelyn grab her dress leading her roughly out of the room.
"Get out!" Said Evelyn pushing her out. "Evelyn let me go and we can talk." Saod Josh as Evelyn grabbed his sock stuffing in his mouth. She walked out ignoring the concerned neighbors stepping into the backyard. "Im sorry everyone. Mr. Hendrix isnt feeling well. Thank you for coming for Chloe. We really appreciate it. Feel free to take some left overs." Said Evelyn. "Mom what is going on?" Said Chloe. "You'll know soon enough. I just dont want your day to be ruined after what i saw upstairs." Said Evelyn putting her hand on her cheek. "Did something happened between you and Dad? Was it the reason Ms. Summers walked out with a broken nose?" Said Chloe. "I'll explain everything okay after everyone leaves." Said Evelyn going inside getting herself a drink. She opened one of the bottles left on the counter pouring herself a glass. Walking to the living room looking at the guest saying their goodbyes to Chloe before they left grabbing some papers her father left. She pulled them out looking through and signed as Chloe walked in seeing them. "Divorce papers?" Said Chloe. "Yes. Im divorcing for father. Why? Go upstairs and ask him." Said Evelyn drinking her wine. Chloe walked upstairs going to the bedroom and quickly turned her head after seeing her dad naked in bed. "Dad, what the fuck?" Said Chloe covering her eyes a bit to cover his junk and pulled the sock out his mouth. "Did you cheat on mom with Pamela?" Said Chloe. "Look Chloe. Theres a time a " Boom. "Evelyn?" Said Josh. "Mom?" Said Chloe heading downstairs to see Evelyn on the floor not moving. "Mom? Wake up." Said Chloe kneeling shaking her. She looked at her mouth seeing a bit of foam pouring out and used her phone to call for help while checking her pulse. "Chloe!" Said Josh. "Shut the fuck up! Moms dead." Chloe shouted then talked to the operator. Once the ambulance and police came talking with Chloe who watched Evelyn being carried out in a bodybag. "You had no idea why anyone would this?" Said the female officer. "Can i be with my daughter?" Siad Josh coming over wearing a robe. "Ask my dad. He slept with our neighbor Pamela during the event. Im glad mom signed the fucking divorce papers." Said Chloe storming out.
One year later - Heaven
"Evie. How are you?" Said a man blonde hair dressed ina casual white suit smiling at her. "Fine as always Gabe." Said Evelyn walking by. "Where you off to?" Said Gabe walking with her. "Off to the bookstore." Said Evelyn. "Why dont i join you? I was planning to meet with Lute and Adam." Said Gabe. "Thats nice. Sid you find a way on how Chloe is doing on Earth?" Said Evelyn. "Im sorry but the council cant allow me to help see whats going on with your daughter. You need to be patient." Said Gabe. "You been telling me that the moment i came here. All because of that bitch Pamela." Said Evelyn. "Yeah. Containing that bottle was big no no. But she wasnt smart enough to get rid of the evidence or offering pleasure to the judge." Said Gabe got a look from her. "Sorry but be glad its over." Said Gabe as they reached the center of Heaven. He smiled and greeted the other angels while Evelyn walked into the bookstore. "Gabriel. Happy you showed up we got meeting waiting." Said an angel with large horns, wearing a robe, and had large golden wings. "Coming Adam. I was walking Evelyn to the bookstore." Said Gabe join him and the other angels. "Yeah come on." Said Adam leading him inside. He had him sit on the row with the other angels dressed in black and grey uniforms. Evelyn skimmed through the spines of the boola on the shelves and heard singing outside knowing a new soul came through. She looked over curiously for a second seeing Josh looking around amazed. "Are you fucking kidding me?" Said Evelyn. "Is everything okay?" Said a voice behind her. "No. Why is he here?" Said Evelyn looking at the young angel. "Who knows but im sure what happened is in the past." Said the angel. "I cant forgive him." Said Evelyn walking out. She walked by once everyone went on with their day and heard Josh calling her.
"Evelyn! Wait." Said Josh blocking her way. "I have nothing to say to you." Said Evelyn passing him but he blocked her again. "I know i shouldve told you about Pamela but come on we havent really connected. Chloe havent talked to me that day since the accident." Said Josh. "Accident? What accident?" Said Evelyn. "Chloe died with a friend of hers in car accident. The police siad they were both in intoxicated with alcohol and weed after i told her about Pamela's pregnancy announcement on Facebook." Said Josh. "So she's carrying your kid?" Said Evelyn. "Yes." Said Josh then tackled down. "You fucking bastard!" Said Evelyn punching him a few times until the angels pulled her off. She got out their to beat him up again drawing more injuries where he was barely alive but the angels and Adam got a hold of her. "What the fuck is going here?" Saod Adam looking at Evelyn since Josh is knocked out. "What do you think im going to kill him for being the cause of my daughter's death?" Said Evelyn getting to his face. "Well theres no such things is kind of violence here. So unless you apologize for what youve done for this newbie. Youre fucking out." Said Adam then groaned after Evelyn kicked him extremely hard in the crotch. "Bad move Bitch." He growled snapping his fingers. Evelyn felt her wings being held out as one of the angels used a blade to slice them off making her scream and suddenly fall through the clouds. She looked at the hole closing up and getting further and further away from Heaven seeing the light fading. Crash! "What was that?" Said a muffled voice Evelyn heard. "Charlie wait!" Said another voice. Evelyn slowly felt drained from all pain shes taking with her hearing and sight fading in and out. "Excuse me? Can you hear me?" Said a figure looking at her with another. They both watched her halo and what was felt of wings disappear before Evelyn passed out completely.
