Evelyn walked out of her room and heard a whistle down the hall. "Looks like Mommy found herself a Daddy." Said Angel looking at her. "Its just one date with Vox." Said Evelyn walking with him to the elevator. "I dont know. Why would you want to date him?" Said Angel confused. Evelyn gave him a look after hitting the lobby button amd moved her slightly wavy hair back. "I owe him for pulling me into his building during the extermination." Said Evelyn. "I couldve helped ya." Said Angel. "And where were y- Nevermind. I dont wanna know." Said Evelyn. "I just dont want anything happening to you. Plus my friend is anxious to meet you. You free afterwards." Said Angel once they got out. "Maybe if this date goes well. Besides i can handle myself." Said Evelyn looking forward and jumped seeing Alastor and Charlie in front of her. "My gosh. You look amazing." Said Charlie. "And where you off to my Little Doe?" Said Alastor. "A date with Vox." Said Angel. "Oh yeah. Hes the one who saved you during the Cleanse. Vaggie told me." Said Charlie. "Its one date. My first one after my divorce." Said Evelyn looking at the three. She then saw a irritated look on Alastor for split second but wiped off when her eyes were on him. "Well i hope your night goes splendid." Said Alastor. "We'll talk after my date and meeting Angels friend. How's that?" Said Evelyn eyeing him closely. "We'll see. Now i have a show to broadcast." Said Alastor walking away. "Do you need a ride or is he gonna pick you up?" Said Charlie. Knock. Knock. Knock. "Allow me. Looks to me Vaggie needs to talk to you." Said Evelyn while Angel went to the bar. She walked over opening the door seeing Vox holding a bouquet of flowers. "Arent you a gem." Said Vox handing her the bouquet. "These are beautiful. Thank you." Said Evelyn. "Not as nearly what im seeing in front of me. Dont want to miss our reservations." Said Vox walking beside her with his hand on her back. He opened the limo door for her to go in first before sliding in closing the door once the limo moved.
"So tell me how can a gorgeous sinner like you be doing here?" Said Vox handing her a glass of red wine. "I told this many times since i fell here but i was human. I had a small business of restoring old items and give it new life. Was married and a mother." Said Evelyn. "Was married? What happened?" Said Vox looking at her picking at the petals. "I found him tied naked in our bed getti g ride on by one of the neighbors on Chloes last before moving to college." Said Evelyn. "No." Said Vox in fake shock even though he knew the whole story from listening through the audios. "I honestly feel like a fucking idiot. The signs were hitting me in the gut but i was focusing on my business and spending time with Chloe." Said Evelyn shaking her head. She felt his claw finger tilt her chin up to looking at his serious face. "You're not the idiot. He is as well as a major asshole to hurt someone as amazing and hard working as you." Said Vox. "Thanks and not long after that once everyone left except Chloe. I was poisoned by the same woman who was with my ex husband while i was do e signing the divorce papers." Said Evelyn. "I was in Heaven for a year until i ran into my ex again who wanted to apologize then told me how Chloe died because of him after finding out he got that woman pregnant. I just started beating him up until the King of the Assholes Adam stopped and has the fucking nerve to make chose to apologize or get kicked out of Heaven. So i hit his precious balls which resulted my wings getting cut ended up down here." She finished clearing her throat to calm down from getting upset. "Things are just unfair some beings. But forget the bastard Now you have me." Said Vox leaning close to her until the limo slowed down. He opened the door to get out and reached his hand out for Evelyn to take. Evelyn saw that they were behind a huge club parking lot and looked at Vox.
"This is the only way we wont be interrupted by the press and paparazzi. Trust me." Said Vox guiding her to the back door where the bouncer is guarding. "Simon. Good friend. I have a table ready by Ashley." Said Vox looking at him. He saw him checking Evelyn out slowly until he put his hand on her waist making him opening the door and talked to someone in his ear piece letting them inside. They walked down the hall passing the dressing rooms for the staff and the kitchen going upstairs to the second floor once their waitress caught up to them with the menu's. Their orders were set as the two chatted away while more guest were guided to their tables until Chloe showed up with a pink succubus. Chloe was about to sit down until she saw Evelyn with Vox before facing her client Verosika. "Excuse me Ms. Mayday. Wont be long." Said Chloe walking towards the two. "Hi Mom. Vox." Said Chloe as Evelyn looked away from Vox. "Chloe. My baby!" Said Evelyn getting up to hug her. "Chloe. What a pleasant surprise." Said Vox through his teeth smiling. "What are you doing here?" Said Evelyn. "I was going to say the same for you but now i know that you already met one of my bosses. Im actually with a important client right now." Said Chloe gesturing Verosika. "Then you should get back to her. Dont want to ruin a perfect night now do we." Said Vox giving her a look. Meaning, 'Get the fuck out of here.' Making Chloe smile and nod slowly. "See you around Mom. I'll ask my friend Angie fpr your number." Said Chloe walking back to her table. After talking sometime Vox got up to leave for a bit as Evelyn looked down at the balcony. She took her time taking in the details of this place besides the huge stage with a catwalk and poles for the dancers until the lights shut off and back on for three seconds. "What the . . . Alastor?!" Said Evelyn seeing standing next to her. "Sorry for the scare, Darling. I just happened to stroll on by and saw Television Bastard leave without you minutes ago. I came to see if you needed any help." Said Alastor. "Vox left but he said he was going to the bathroom." Said Evelyn. "He never knows how to be a true gentlemen. How we finish this night by simple stroll around the city?" Said Alastor. "Sounds fair since i just met my daughter Chloe before she and Verosika left for a fitting." Said Evelyn grabbing her small purse linking arms with Alastor. She walked out of the club with him through his dark magic appearing on the sidewalk outside the alley. "How was your date so far?" Said Alastor looking at her. "Ok. We just talked, ate, and drink until he just left me." Said Evelyn as they walked away from the club down the block that was less crowed by the huge line. Vox later woke up somewhere pitch black and had a horrible smell making move around until he found an opening. He pushed the lip up revealing that he was in a dumpster behind the club and climbed out almost falling in the process. "Mr. Vox?" Said Simon. "What?!" Said Vox glaring at him. "Nothing. I was going to say your screen is cracked on the upper left." Said Simon looking away. "Great just fucking great. Im gonna find Alastor. I know that old time fuck did this." Said Vox cleaning the garbage off him before going into the limo that never left.
