Hours gone by as Zaira and Dezu looked all over the city to out where the voice Zaira was hearing came from. "I dont get it. I knoe i heard a voice. But how come only i hear it?" said Zaira looking at Dezu. Dezu shrugged then pointed at something over where Aladdins old home was getting her attention. Zaira rushed over seeing another fight going on with aladdin but that wasn't the case as familiar bird was involved. "What is he doing here?! Said Zaira seeing them talk on their way to the palace. 'Want to talk to them?' Dezu signed. "Of course and we have to be on the look out for Jafar." Said Zaira before hopping onto Dezu and flew to her balcony. "Oh there you are Princess. I know Razoul would've been here to speak with you. But he's busy at the moment and had me to deliver a message to you. He would like to take you out of the city. To make up for the lost times for you two." Said Beni before entering her room. "Alright. Thank you Beni." Said Zaira as Dezu layed on her piles of pillows. "Oh can you tell me where Aladdin is. I need talk to him." She says before putting her dagger away. "I believe he's still in his room getting ready for dinner tonight." Said Beni. "Again thank you." Said Zaira. Beni left as she got out of her room straight down the long halls and gently knocked on Aladdin's door before she came in. Aladdin quickly threw his cape at something red on his stool near the dresser. "Zaira, w-what do you need?" Said Aladdin as Zaira shut the door behind her.
She looked at him and headed to his dresser. "I know your hiding him." She says watching the fabric move away. "Hiding who?" Said Aladdin as Abu went to the fabric. "Iago of course. Me and Dezu saw him during one of the fights." Said Zaira pulling the fabric off to show Iago. The parrot looked at her nervously while messing with his feathers. "Princess good to see you. Did you do something different to your hair it looks great." Said Iago. "Care to explain." Said Zaira crossing her arms. "Look he says that Jafar controlled him and wants to be given a second chance. No one knows he's here." Said Aladdin seeing that Zaira isn't buying it. "I'm not stupid. He just wants to have power." Said Zaira. "Besides you know you can't hid him forever. If anyone like Razoul even sees him. He'll be using his feathers as a pillow and feed his body to Rajah." Sad Zaira. "I know that but he saved me during the fight. I owe him please keep him in your private garden. Please." Said Aladdin. Zaira looked at him and Iago then back on Aladdin who gave her the sad puppy like eyes. "If he pulls anything I'm not stopping Razoul or myself from hurting him." Said Zaira as Iago flew into her head covering. "Thanks. I always knew I a reason to like you." Said Iago. "We are going to have a small chat in my room. Oh before I leave Razoul is taking me out so you better find a way to present him to Baba and Jazi." Said Zaira before she went back to her room.
She took off her covering as Iago flew over to her dresser looking at the Jewelry including her dagger. "What are you really planning Iago? And Is Jafar still trapped in his lamp?" Said Zaira. "You really don't trust me. Im done with that psycho. I got out myself and want nothing to do with him." Said Iago as Zaira rolled her eyes. "After everything you did. Do honestly think that anyone besides Aladdin can trust you?" Said Zaira looking back to him. "I know what I did was wrong but I had no one to turn to. Only you and that street rat can help me with the Sultan and your fiancee. I can prove that I'm a changed bird." Said Iago putting his feather hands together. Zaira crossed her arms narrowing her eyes in thought and sighed approaching him. "You better before Razoul gets his hands on you." Said Zaira stroking his head gently. She went over to her closet to a stone brick wall and pressed the button revealing a secret passage lit with torches. "Woah. So Al wasn't kidding about that secret garden huh?" Said Iago landing o her shoulder. "I'm surprised you or Jafar havent found it because of all secret passages you two have around here." Said Zaira walking down the spiral stairs down to show a small opening with the sunlight shining through the room. "This place is really nice. You come down here often?" Said Iago flying to the mini waterfall. "Sometimes. I tend to be here to be alone and think. All this plants here I grew on my own from a help of my friend Serena." Said Zaira. "Anyways that opening leads to the garden outside near the small house." Said Zaira as she began to leave.
Zaira got her outfit ready to meet Razoul then heard someone talking outside her balcony. She looked down to see Genie talking to Jasmine and Aladdin. "Genie!" Said Zaira jumping over the rail and felt carpet catch Dr before we hit the ground. She got off of him and headed towards her friends and sister. "Zaira. I missed you. How are you?" Said Genie after giving her a hug. "Oh not much. But I still need to talk to you if you got time." Said Zaira. "Im sure I got time after we have dinner tonight." Said Genie as Zaira suddenly looked distracted. "You ok?" Said Jasmine. "Yeah. I just got alot in my mind right now." Said Zaira. "Oh I almost forgot your souvenir. I found this during my travels." Said Genie pulling out a small potted rose bush that had a red - white ombre color. Zaira grabbed it looking at it in deep thought before wiping away the fresh tears. "Zaira, what's wrong?" Said Aladdin touching her shoulder. "Nothing. It just reminded me of someone." Said Zaira. "I'll take that as sign to talk. Come on. See you guys at dinner." Said Genie puffing to Zaira's room. "Now can you tell me what's going on?" Said Genie as Zaira put down the plant. "Before you came I dreamt about a shadow attacking me and my friend from my world. It told me that they'll have their revenge and expose the truth about me. Then earlier I heard this voice only I can hear. I thought maybe you can help me." Said Zaira looking him. "I never heard any singing besides that blonde back in Greece. But nothing. What did it sound like?" Said Genie. "Like this." Zaira says before clearing her throat. "Ah. Ah. Ah. Oh. Ah. Ah. Ah. Ahhh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh." She sang then heard it again but behind her. She looked back to find nothing but the roses. "What you heard it again?" Said Genie. "Yes but in here." Said Zaira. "Did you tell anyone about it?" Said Genie. "I told baba and Aladdin about the dream. But baba doesn't know about the voice." Said Zaira. "From I can guess is. The voice is only calling out to you." Said Genie. "But why now?" Said Zaira. "I don't know but you should probably figure it on your own. You coming to dinner with us?" Said Genie. "Razoul is taking me out of the city." Said Zaira picking up the plant. "Oh how sweet. Well I better get dinner ready." Said Genie puffing away.
Zaira smiled before changing into a dark Navy blue and gold top with the long matching skirt reaching down to her feet. Her make up was natural with very little contour, blush, and wing eyeliner to make her eyes stand out. She took her veil and came with it on her head then took her small rose bush to her secret garden after planting it into the dirt. Zaira gently stroke the petals in thought before hearing a whistle at the corner of the room. "A little over dress don't you think." Said Iago. "I'm actually going out with my fiancee. Which means you are going to Aladdin's room before I leave." Said Zaira. "Fine. But I won't like it." Said Iago. "Just go through the opening. I assume Razoul will be coming to my room. Promise me that you behave." Said Zaira. "I ain't promising nothing." Said iago before going through the small tunnel. Zaira shook her head and went upstairs just in time for Razoul to come in before he knocked. "Your still patrolling?" Said Zaira. "Yes but I don't think there will be any problems tonight. You look beautiful." Said Razoul holding her hands and kissed her forehead. "Thank you. So where are you taking me?" Said Zaira as they walked. "You're going have wait until we get there." Said Razoul. Zaira looked forward as they were outside near the palace gates then felt something like someone was watching them. "Zaira, is something wrong?" Said Razoul seeing her looked around. "I thought someone was watching us." Said Zaira looking at him. "Don't you worry. As long I'm here the safe." Said Razoul putting his hand on her lower back.
