Earlier near Chrysalis's lair...

Ladybug flew across the streets of Paris towards the abandoned warehouse. Class 1-A and everyone else tried to keep up, but they were just barely able to. EraserHead didn't look too happy about them still going after them since Ladybug was hurt. But once he noticed that her wing was fine after a recharge, he let it go.

She launched her yo-yo and zoomed even closer to the warehouse. The moment she was there, Ladybug landed very softly without getting any attention. She knew that they would be around here somewhere, so she had to be quiet.

Class 1-A and her teammates quickly caught up with her, and Ladybug got them to stay stealthy.

"We've gotta be quiet around here. They're probably nearby," Ladybug said to her teammates, "Just follow my lead, and no running off."

"Same goes for all of you," EraserHead said to his students, "Don't go running off."

They nodded and followed behind EraserHead and Ladybug. As they crept alongside the warehouse, Ladybug could swear that she could hear Adrien yelling. She really wanted to get in there right now, but she didn't even know what was going on in there. Ladybug noticed some windows higher up where no one could peek into. She leaped up there very quietly and looked through it.

She could see Adrien, Chrysalis and HawkMoth. They looked like they were arguing about something. She couldn't quite tell what it was about, but she could see Midoriya, Uraraka and Bakugo in the background all chained up. Those three weren't looking so good.

Ladybug softly landed on the ground.

"What did you see in there?" Rena Rouge asked her.

"Adrien is in there with HawkMoth and Chrysalis. Adrien looks like he might need us soon. I saw Izuku, Ochaco, and Katsuki in there as well," Ladybug explained to them, "They looked like they've been chained up."

Class 1-A all looked like they wanted to barge in there right then and there and get their friends back. Ladybug felt like something wasn't quite right though. Back there with Adrien, he didn't seem to fight back when HawkMoth told him to join him. And yet, there he was yelling at him and Chrysalis just now. He could've been pretending to join him just to find the three of them, but something still didn't sit right with her.

"Ladybug, are you okay?" Kirishima asked her, "You seem distracted."

Ladybug didn't know what to say to them all. Adrien was always there for her, but something just didn't feel right about HawkMoth. He had this ring on his finger that he kept playing with, and she just knew was that it meant something to him. But the moment she saw it, Ladybug felt uneasy and had the urge to take it away from him.

"Did anyone notice the ring around HawkMoth's finger? He kept playing with it ever since he's shown up," Ladybug asked them.

All of Class 1-A and her teammates thought about for a moment until someone spoke up.

"Yeah, I did notice it," Jirou said to her, "It's definitely the ring that Adrien threw at him during that mission to rescue Midoriya."

"Yeah. I figured that much," Ladybug said to her.

"But now that you mention it, Ladybug, it does give me a weird feeling when he was playing with it," Rena Rouge said to her, "Also, it seemed oddly familiar. Like, we've come across something like this before."

Ladybug stood there feeling something start to come together, but she shook it off for now and got back to what they were doing. Once they walked around the warehouse to check it out, they heard Adrien yelling out his transformation. She knew right then and there that he was about to fight them by himself. As far as she knew, Midoriya, Uraraka and Bakugo were still chained up.

Ladybug finally found the door to the warehouse, wondering why they couldn't find it. It was behind a bunch of big, steel boxes. Some were clearly empty, but still very heavy.

"There's no time to waste," Ladybug said to them.

She tried to summon One for All to push one of the way, but she still had trouble with it. Sato stepped in and helped move it. She couldn't have someone like Kirishima punching them away since that would alert them. They were able to push a couple of them out of the way before hearing Midoriya yelling out to Bakugo. Whatever was going on, they really needed to pick up the pace.

"Come on, push!" Ladybug yelling, not caring if they heard at this point, "We've gotta get in there!"

She could hear some sort of fight going on in there. Cat Noir was fighting them alone in there. She had to get in there and help him. Ladybug didn't care at this point and got Kirishima to bust through the rest of the steel boxes. He punched through one, and Ladybug quickly peeked inside. She could see Cat Noir being caught in HawkMoth's invisible grip. He was struggling to get out of it.

Ladybug felt something start to boil up inside of her, and they all busted their way inside.

"Let's go!"

In Chrysalis's lair...

Ladybug stood tall with Class 1-A and her teammates all together. She locked her eyes onto Chyrsalis, and they both gave piercing glares at each other. She then looked right at HawkMoth, who never looked away from his son. He was still holding onto with his invisible grip.

"Let's stop HawkMoth!" Ladybug cried out to her teammates, "Miss Hound and King Monkey, go help Class 1-A! They might need you!"

"Stop Chrysalis from getting away. Go help Midoriya, Uraraka and Bakugo if you can," EraserHead said to his students, "I'll help out Ladybug."

Ladybug and her teammates along with EraserHead stood tall as they ran after Cat Noir. Ladybug swung her yo-yo around like it was a lasso and launched at him. HawkMoth finally noticed them and tried to use his hold on Ladybug. He was too late, and she knocked him down with a single punch.

Ladybug stirred up a bit of dust and she looked around for any sign of Cat Noir. She quickly spotted him on the ground as he stood up. For a moment, all she could see was him. She was so happy to see him that she didn't notice HawkMoth coming up from behind her.

"Cat Noir!" Ladybug cried out as ran at him.

In the corner of her eye, she saw HawkMoth about to sweep her up. But then EraserHead's scarves quickly wrapped around him to stop him from touching her.

"Ladybug, where's the akuma?" EraserHead asked her, "We've got to stop him, now!"

Ladybug could see that Cat Noir was fine, so she looked back at HawkMoth. She didn't notice anything he was wearing except for the ring. Something about this stopped her from taking it. A gut feeling was telling her not to take it from him.

"Ladybug, what're you doing? Take the ring! That's gotta be where the akuma is hiding," Queen Bee cried out as she held her spinning top at the ready.

"I-I... can't do it..." Ladybug confessed, "Something doesn't feel right..."

EraserHead tried to hold HawkMoth back as he tried to break free from the bindings. HawkMoth looked right at Ladybug with a wide grin on his face.

"This is interesting. So you feel it, too?" HawkMoth pointed out to her, "You can feel the ring's presence as well. How different it is. Then again, you are the Guardian of the Miraculous."

Ladybug couldn't look away from Cat Noir as he stepped over to their side. Something about the ring was making Cat Noir do things that he didn't want to do. But now, he looked ready to stop him. Ladybug looked down at the ring, ready to take it from him.

"It's over, HawkMoth!" Cat Noir yelled at him, "There's no way I'm helping you out with this plan!"

Before she could take it from him, HawkMoth launched at Cat Noir as EraserHead tried to hold him back. Queen Bee got ready to use her superpower, but HawkMoth broke free before she could. His wings knocked almost everyone down and flew right at Cat Noir. He barely saw it coming and tried to use cataclysm in defense. HawkMoth was too fast and used his invisible grip again on him.

HawkMoth looked like he was about to snap and flung Cat Noir across the floor. He slammed into the wall pretty hard, knocking him out. HawkMoth gripped onto his son and pulled him in closer.

"Cat Noir! No!" Ladybug cried out.

Then, a swarm of akumas began to enter the warehouse, swirling all around them. It even began to take down a part of warehouse building. Luckily, the akumas didn't hit anyone that got into contact with them. They started to make their way around Ladybug and her teammates, and then made their way towards HawkMoth and Cat Noir. No one could get to them, it was just HawkMoth and Cat Noir in there.

The akumas kept coming, and Ladybug tried to stop them by grabbing some of them to de-evilize them. She kept grabbing a few at a time, but the akumas just kept coming for them. For a moment, she could see them through the akumas, but that was about it.

"There's too many akumas! We've gotta stop him!" Ladybug cried out, "He's hurting Cat Noir in there!"

"I don't think my mirage is going to do anything!" Rena Rouge cried back, "He'll see right through it!"

"And I need to get close to him to use venom!" Queen Bee cried back to them.

"What do we do?!" Carapace cried out, "I can only use my protection power around anyone that I'm in contact with. I can't reach him!"

"EraserHead...?" Ladybug asked him, hoping he might have an answer.

EraserHead was surprised to see so many akumas in one room. He couldn't get in there without getting akumatized. Also, it's not like he could use his quirk on HawkMoth to stop the akumas from circling around them. He was furious that he couldn't do anything to help out Cat Noir who was now knocked out cold.

He wanted to go get one of his students to help out. At least maybe thought someone like Todoroki or Jirou could get the akumas out of the way.

Ladybug stood by while EraserHead tried to figure out what to do. She clenched her fists, really trying to keep herself from going after him.

"Come on, Cat Noir..."

Inside the tornado of akumas...

Cat Noir's eyes fluttered open as he found himself floating high above the floor. All he could see was HawkMoth surrounded by thousands of akumas. He thought he was seeing things for a moment. But then he saw an akuma zoom past him, giving him a graze through his suit.

And then another one.

And another one.

They kept coming at him without giving him a chance to defend himself. Cat Noir could feel something coming through his arm, but couldn't move it from the invisible grip. Something about it told him to get away from HawkMoth. All he could see was his father's piercing eyes staring daggers at him. He had never seen him this angry before, even back then.

"You ungrateful brat!" HawkMoth yelled out.

Another akuma grazed him, but hit his mask instead. It ripped right off of him, showing off his face underneath.

"I gave you everything, and this is how you repay me?!" HawkMoth cried out, "I even tried to bring your mother back to you!"

Cat Noir felt something come over him and felt his fists begin to clench together. Even his cataclysm started to grow as he faced his father.

"I never asked you to do anything like this for me! I was fine with going to school with my friends and hanging out with them! I never even wanted to become a model in the first place! That was all you, father!" Cat Noir cried out.

HawkMoth was shocked to hear his son talk to him like that. The look in Cat Noir's eyes made him feel like he didn't even want him around anymore. The mask being torn didn't help things either. It looked like he was looking at two different sides of him.

"My mother would never want any of this for us."

HawkMoth gritted his teeth and launched another akuma at him. It grazed his cat ear, making him flinch a little.

"You have no idea what she would've wanted! She was the one who used the Peacock Miraculous behind my back! She was the one who created--"

HawkMoth stopped in his tracks, realizing he had almost told him the truth. He locked eyes with him and noticed how much he looked like Emilie for a moment. His green eyes stood out so much, and they never looked away from him.

Cat Noir didn't know what was going on with him, but he knew he had to get away from him. He could feel his cataclysm begin to spread out, and he couldn't hold it back much longer.

"Father, you have to get out of the way! Please!" Cat Noir cried out.

HawkMoth gritted his teeth and gripped onto him much tighter. Cat Noir couldn't move, not even his arms. His fist holding the cataclysm back was barely able to hold it back much longer. HawkMoth never even noticed what was going on as he got closer to Cat Noir.

"Fa-Father... Stop! Yo-You're... hurting me...!"

"Cat Noir! Your Miraculous is mine!"

All of a sudden, Cat Noir spotted Ladybug launching through the akumas. She had the most desperate looking face he had ever seen. His eyes widened as she caught him in the air and got hit by HawkMoth. Cat Noir landed on the ground and felt a pain run through his chest once he landed. He sat up to see Ladybug standing right by beside him with her yo-yo at the ready.

"Cat Noir, are you okay?" Ladybug asked him as she reached out to help him up.

He reached out for a helping hand and got up to stand by her side.

"What're you doing here, Ladybug?" Cat Noir asked her as he pulled out his baton at the ready.

"I couldn't let HawkMoth get the upper hand, kitty," Ladybug said to him teasingly.

Cat Noir was so happy to see her shining smile and bright blue eyes. He stood tall next to her, surrounded by akumas. HawkMoth stared daggers at both of them as the akumas picked up some wind and dust. Ladybug and Cat Noir stood back to back, ready to fight.

"Looks like it's you and me against the world once again, milady," Cat Noir said to her.

Ladybug smiled back at him and faced HawkMoth with determined eyes. Her yo-yo swung around faster than usual as One for All built up around her arm. Cat Noir held his baton with his hand that didn't have to contain his cataclysm. He was trying so hard not to use it, but it looked like it couldn't contain itself for much longer.

"Cat Noir. Your power is starting to lose control. You might as well give up your Miraculous now before you hurt someone you care about," HawkMoth said to him.

Ladybug looked back at him, spotting the cataclysm growing around his fist. It looked like his fist was shaking. She knew that he wouldn't be able to fight like that. Not without accidentally hurting someone.

Ladybug knew what she had to do.

"Lucky Cha--"

Ladybug suddenly felt a pull towards HawkMoth. She was caught in his invisible grip. Her grip on her yo-yo was loosening the moment he grabbed her.

"Ladybug... You shouldn't have done that..." HawkMoth growled at her.

Ladybug looked at him with fierce eyes and launched her yo-yo at him. An akuma hit it away from him and launched back at her. HawkMoth pulled her in closer and yanked the yo-yo out of her hand. He held it for a moment, but tossed it aside and onto the ground.

"I don't need any of your other Miraculous. I just need yours and Adrien's in order to get what I want!" HawkMoth yelled out as he reached out towards Ladybug.

She tried to pull out of his grip, but it just got even tighter as he got closer. Before he could grab it, Ladybug spotted something slowly appearing in front of HawkMoth. It looked like a ghost form of Emilie Agreste. Even Cat Noir was a bit thrown off by it.

"What is this?!" HawkMoth cried out.

"Gabriel darling..." Emilie said to him, "You have to stop this..."

Ladybug knew right away that this was Rena Rouge's doing. It started to make sense to her since she noticed the akumas beginning to spread out a bit more. Then she spotted EraserHead making his way through the akumas with Carapace around. A green shield surrounded them as they made their way through.

Ladybug's eyes widened and felt HawkMoth's grip loosen up around her. EraserHead launched his scarves at HawkMoth and wrapped it around him, causing him to fall to the ground. The akumas began to disappear, but not before Ladybug grabbed a good amount of them to de-evilize.

Ladybug fell towards the ground, but Cat Noir was able to catch her.

"Thank you, EraserHead," Ladybug said once she spotted him checking on them.

He nodded, and they faced a tied down HawkMoth. Ladybug grabbed her yo-yo and gave HawkMoth a dirty look. Then they noticed a purple cloud forming around him, causing everyone to look back at their other group. They had stopped Chrysalis's akumatization or at least, King Monkey had.

Everything was starting to work out.

"It's over," EraserHead said to him.

Gabriel sent a piercing glare at him, but EraserHead did the same showing off his red glowing eyes.

"You should just give up now," Ladybug said to him, "Cat Noir is on our side. He would never help you, and it doesn't matter what you have to say to him."

Gabriel was surprised by her wording and couldn't help but laugh at her. They all stood there, ready for another surprise attack from him. He tried to get out of the bindings, but he could barely move. All he could do was reach for his ring under the binding.

Cat Noir felt something come over him, and his hand containing the cataclysm didn't feel right.

"You really think my son would stick with you and your little team after he finds out the truth? There's always been something there, you two have just never realized it," Gabriel said to them.

Ladybug, her teammates and EraserHead were confused by what he was referring to. Ladybug did get a feeling there was something more going on with Adrien and his family. Something that even Rena Rouge started to suspect. In the corner of her eye, she spotted Cat Noir standing there having trouble with his cataclysm. She walked over to him to help him out, but he had a terrified look on his face.

"St-Stay back, Ladybug! Something's wrong!" Cat Noir cried out.

Ladybug, her teammates and EraserHead all looked worried about Cat Noir, both from his cataclysm, and whatever Gabriel had to say about him. EraserHead tried to use his quirk on Cat Noir since he had a little bit One for All inside of his Miraculous. All it did was subside it a tiny bit, but it kept growing anyway. EraserHead pulled at his scarves, tightening his hold on Gabriel.

"Tell us what's going on here, Gabriel," EraserHead demanded through glowing red eyes, "This is your son we're talking about here."

All Gabriel could do was stare at his red, piercing eyes that actually looked like he cared about his son. He sat up as the others got ready just in case he had something up his sleeve.

"Everything I've ever done was for Adrien. Keeping him at home, away from everyone. Everything he did was to keep him safe and away from people. People that would never understand who he really is," Gabriel said as he looked up at Cat Noir.

Cat Noir had no idea where this was going, but something about it didn't feel right. He knew all of this already, and yet something about it felt different.

"Yes, we know that already. This doesn't change anything--"

"You didn't let me finish," Gabriel interrupted as he rubbed at his ring under the bindings, "I did all of those things not just because he's a fashion model. I did it because he's a sentimonster."

Ladybug froze in place and felt something tug at her heart. Even Rena Rouge and Carapace felt a little sick to their stomach. Queen Bee was so confused and didn't know what to do. EraserHead might not have understood, but based on everyone's reactions, they could tell it wasn't anything good.

All they could hear was the fighting in the background from their other group. Midoriya's yelling could be heard, which snapped Ladybug out of it. She could barely breathe as Gabriel said those words to her. Something about it felt right, but she ignored that feeling and pulled her yo-yo out.

"You're... You're lying!" Ladybug cried out, "Th-There's no way--"

"You are the one that said he's perfect, didn't you?" Gabriel said back at her, "You knew about it and never realized it yourself. Me and Emilie weren't able to have kids, so we planned on creating a child using the Peacock Miraculous. But the Peacock Miraculous was damaged so we had to wait to get it fixed. Emilie other plans however and went behind my back to create Adrien and Felix. Creating them with a broken Miraculous came at a price, and eventually she fell into a coma. That's why Adrien is the way he is."

Ladybug could see Cat Noir in the corner of her eye. He looked absolutely distraught, and his knees were beginning to buckle. His green eyes were so full of confusion that she didn't know what to do in that moment. She spotted his cataclysm growing more and more. His hand was shaking quite a bit from trying to contain it.

"Fa-Father... Yo-You can't be serious..." Cat Noir mumbled at him, "Yo-You're lying... Th-There's no way that I am..."

"Yes, Adrien. You are a sentimonster. You always have been."

Cat Noir's cataclysm couldn't take it anymore.

Gabriel rubbed at his ring once more, and causing Cat Noir to stiffen up.

"And I can prove it to you. Adrien, take down EraserHead for me," Gabriel demanded.

They all whipped around to suddenly see Cat Noir trying to fight through his demand. EraserHead still had his bindings around Gabriel, so he couldn't defend himself. Ladybug and her teammates stepped up to defend him.

"G-Guys... I-I c-can't fight th-this off..." Cat Noir said to them, "Yo-You've gotta get... out of here..."

Ladybug felt like her stomach was in knots when she realized that Gabriel was right for once.

Adrien is a sentimonster.

Another amazing chapter!

Adrien is a sentimonster! What?! I wasn't sure if I should put this into the story or not, but it didn't seem like something important. It's still doesn't have a big part of the story overall, it was just something I wanted to throw in since I wrote in that Gabriel still had the ring when he went to prison. Still, there's quite a bit going on!

Cat Noir's cataclysm is not looking too good. EraserHead's quirk doesn't seem to be doing much to help him.

HawkMoth's superpowers I thought was really cool when he akumatized himself in the movie, so I'm glad that I kept it in here.

Class 1-A is still fighting with Chrysalis and trying to save Midoriya, Uraraka and Bakugo!
