It's been three weeks since Agrabah was saved from Jafar once again as Aladdin stood outside the palace halls in front of Zaira's room. The doors opened as the servant Akhen walked out with the tray of the untouched food and shut them. "She's still not awake. I'm sorry but there's nothing much we can do." Said Akhen. "Its alright. I'll go tell Jasmine while you check on Razoul since he was worried about her too." Said Aladdin. "Of course. I'll even inform the Sultan as well." Said Akhen walk away sadly. Aladdin sighed and walked to the palace garben where Jasmine and Genie waited. He felt Star rub against him to catch his attention and picked her up. "Al, what's the news?" Said Genie. "Still out cold. Jasmine, look I know you and he r have alot to talk about. But she would want you to be happy that all of Agrabah is safe and not to worry about her." Said Aladdin as Star jumped to Jasmine's lap. Jasmine petted her while looking at her reflection not saying a word as Aladdin sat down with her lifting her head to look at him. "It's going to be ok. No matter how hard it is to see her like this. She's going to wake up sooner later." Said Aladdin hugging her. Star got off leaving them alone going to Zaira's balcony with Genie following and saw Desiree on her bed moving except her chest raising up and down slowly. The feline got on the bed crawling towards her and laid down next to her head on the pillow. Genie held her hand in his as Star meowed again getting up and message her paws on her chest. Desiree suddenly stopped breathing as Genie couldn't feel her pulse anymore scaring him.
"Hey Desiree. Come on now don't do this. Come on wake up. Wake up." Said Genie attempting to shake her but nothing. Genie tried not panic and zoomed out of the room to get the others. After he left the passage to Desiree's garden opened itself up as a deer made of tree, moss, and flower vines hanging from its antlers. It approached the bed towards Desiree and sniffed her a bit as Star growled in defense. The creature lifted its head looking at the cat glowing it's green eyes and turned it's head to the door hearing loud voices coming this way making it quickly touch their head against Desiree's before fleeing back into the room. "Zaira!" Said Jasmine after the guards opened the door. She rushed to her side as Desiree gasped for air sitting upwards as Aladdin, Hamed, and Genie came in. "Don't scare us like that. I thought we lost you." Sad Jasmine hugging her in tears. Desiree pulled her close calming her down while looking at everyone else trying to hold back the fresh tears. "How are you feeling?" Said Aladdin. "I'm ok." Said Desiree getting out of the bed. "You sure? Not hungry or anything?" Said Aladdin. "A little hungry but I'll be fine. Just need a minute to think about what just happened." Said Desiree wiping her eyes. "We get it. How we have a walk around the city when your ready?" Said Aladdin. Hamed opened the door to let everyone leave and closed the door as Desiree went to the balcony running her hands through her hair. He went over to her and observes her closely. Her eye looking at everything without moving her head, body shaking a little, and her hands folded under her chin. "What happened to you? Genie told us that you were dying." Said Hamed. "Kinda. I saw Serena and talked to her." Said Desiree. "What do you mean?" Said Hamed.
"When I died. I saw Serena who was trying to explain to me that I was going through a near death experience and was telling me something else until this three headed dog appeared scaring me then came back to life." Said Desiree. "I know it sounds insane but after that happen. What am I supposed to say to everyone? Jasmine might not be over with the whole 'im not your sister and in my world you don't exist' situation and Razoul would've moved on because I stood up for iago." She says. "I know it's all to much for you after Jafar was destroyed. But Jasmine and Razoul will forgive you once you talk to them." Said Hamed holding her hands in his. "You mean today. First I need to a bath to help clear my mind. Tell Aladdin and Jasmine that I'll meet them at the market." Said Desiree. "Of course. And I'll have Delia bring a fresh tray of food for you." said Hamed leaving her alone. Desiree looked over at the city as Dezu flew down to tackle her into a hug. 'Explain to me what in the Allah's name happened?' Dezu signed. "I'll explain everything when we get to the market. Let me just calm down." said Desiree going to the bathroom to get the tub ready. Dezu walked around and noticed the passage was still open making her grow curious and went in. She moved her 'head' and saw a door made from vines amd roots with roses surrounding it. The opening was sealed shut by the bark as Star came in sniffing the flower. Dezu picked her up and flew back into the room and sealed the passage behind them. Desiree grabbed some fresh clothes as Delia set the tray down took the dirty clothes to get washed. Stepping into the warm soapy water Desiree sighed letting her muscles adjust to the temperature and heard a tap on the window. "Hey are you going to let me in or what?" said Iago. Dezu opened the window as Iago perched in the edge of the tub looking more annoyed. "Whats gotten your feather ruffed up?" said Desiree washing her arms. "Everyone but mostly Razoul who has been trying to kill me for the past three weeks all because Jafar knocked you out. I cant escape from that jerk." said Iago grabbed his head. "Don't worry I'll explain everything. So you haven't been in any trouble. Have you?" said Desiree. "No. I had to stay in your room because of that monkey and Tiger." said Iago crossing his arms. "Well im glad things will be back to normal . . . ish." said Desiree before putting her head under the water and resurface.
"True. Anyway i better go so you change and do your lady thing." said Iago. "Thanks Iago. And if you want you can look at my jewelry but dont take anything." said Desiree. "Trust me thats the last thing I'll do before your boyfriend rips my feathers." said Iago flying to her room and landed on the dresser. Desiree got out and change into a black sleeveless top with a split diamond on the back and white slit skirt reaching down to her feet. She walked to her door as Iago took off the rings and necklaces before flying onto her left shoulder. "What are you up to?" Said Desiree. "Nothing. I just wanted to make sure you dont fall or something." Said Iago. "Oh your warming up to me already." Said Desiree scratching under his beak. "Hey Aladdin and that boyfriend of yours have been on my butt after you didn't wake up from your beauty sleep." Said Iago. "Why do you keep saying that Razoul is my boyfriend? He and I are engaged. Aren't we?" Said Desiree as the guards opene the doors. "Look who you and everyone were locked up Jafar used your double to return the dagger and ring to Razoul saying that you rather got eaten by corpse beetles than marry him. I explained it to him but he never listens to me." Said Iago. Desiree groaned as she grabbed her shawl and wrapped it around her head to protect her eye from the sun. "I definitely need to talk to him." Said Desiree walking over to the tree and climbed up. She grabbed onto the wall and jumped down landing on her feet as Iago flew over her head. She walked around and saw Aladdin talking to Jasmine near the fruit stand making her a bit nervous until Lily rushed over hugging her leg.
"Lily I told you to never run off with your cousin." Said Desiree. "But I missed you." Said Lily before getting picked up. "I missed you but you need to stay close ok. We don't want you to get hurt." Said Desiree holding her up by her right hip. "So what do you want to do?" Said Aladdin. "I actually have to talk to all three of you about what happened earlier." Said Desiree. "Oh right. Lily why dont go play with Abu?" Said Aladdin. "Okay but as long as the Birdy comes too." Said Lily pointing to Iago. "No way I'm babysitting the monkey and the lil pipsqueak." Said Iago. "I'll let go into the treasure once a week." Sd Desiree. "Make it three or deals off." Said Iago getting to her face. "Or have Razoul lock you in cage with Rajah. Your pick." Said Desiree. "Come on kid." Said Iago as Lily was put down. She followed Iago as Abu jumped on her left shoulder down the ally. "Let me guess. Razoul is involved in this too." Said Aladdin. "Yeah. I need to tell him and you everything about who I am." Said Desiree. "If this is what you want then its ok. He must be at gates of Agrabah right now." Said Jasmine touching her left shoulder. Desiree smiled sadly then walked towards Aladdin's home and sat down the ruin facing the palace. Jasmine stood behind her seeing that she was in deep thought. Aladdin arrived at the gates seeing Razoul watching the people coming in then saw him with Carpet. "What do you want?" Said Razoul. "It's Zaira. She's wants to talk about what happened earlier." Said Aladdin as Carpet lowered himself down. Razoul sighed signaling Beni to switch with him before getting on and flew to the girls waiting for them. "Good so what happened to you?" Said Jasmine as Razoul got off and sat next to Desiree. "I don't know how your ready to this but . . ." Desiree pause looking at them and signed. "I died and came back." She says. "But how did you come back? Genie was freaking out when you stopped breathing." Said Aladdin. "I guess Serena had a way to do it. I saw her and told me I was going a near death experience and then I woke up." Said Desiree. "Who is Serena?" Said Jasmine. "You know how I told that from where you don't exist. Well my childhood friend Serena had been through the same with me. And I wanted to tell all you but Jafar be at me to it when he said my real name." Said Desiree looking ashamed. "Look it doesn't matter who are. You have people who love and care about you." Said Jasmine. Razoul brushed away the hair from her face and lifted her head to look at him. "She's right. Now I believe this belongs to you." Said Razoul handing her the dagger and placed the gold ring back on her ring finger. "Now are you going to look for Serena? She might still be out there." Said Aladdin. "I think it can wait. I figured we might meet again." Said Desiree putting her head on Razoul's chest.
