Zaria's pov
I was doing the laundry with the two women since it was my turn to get the food. For seven years no one has questioned what happened to me. Some said i was killed by Abasi. Others say i kidnapped during an attack. All of that doesn't matter to me. Think all they want but i know the truth and most likely Jasmine. She knew me better than Father except for Razoul who always kept on me. Just I was about to carry the basket a familiar monkey chatter can be heard outside the window next to me. I saw my second best animal friend Abu land on the window sill. "Abu. What are you doing here? Getting into trouble again?" Said Zaria picking the basket up and prop it against my left hip. Abu waved his hand down and gestured for me to follow him. "Alright let me give this to Maya." I told him walking into the other room seeing Maya and her daughter Lily weaving clothes by hand. "Here you are." I said putting the seventh basket down next to the others. "Thanks Rae. The money is on the table." Said Maya. "Anytime. See you next week." I said grabbing the small sack. I felt Abu jump on my shoulder looking at the gold coins in awe. "Don't even think about Abu. It's for all three of us remember." Said Zaira putting the sack in her pocket. Abu got upsrt crossing his arms looking the other way like a child. "Aladdin and i both know how you get. Now where is he?" said Zaira. Abu was going to say something but a familiar shout can be heard from the corner. "Stop that streetrat!" razoul yelled. Zaira walked to the market place seeing a boy running at her direction. "Did you steal another melon Aladdin?" i asked. "A loaf of bread. See ya at home, Ri." said Aladdin running past her as he turned the corner. The guards were coming while i 'accidentally' knocked down the bamboo poles blocking the alley. Two of the guards fell making the bystanders laugh with Razoul stopping at his tracks. Zaria quickly took off by climbing the near by construction towers. "Split up. You after the streetrat while i get the mouse." Razoul orders his men.
Zaira grabbed the pole laying on the ground and used it to caterpult across the building landing on the roof gracefully. She ran towards another building seeing Aladdin dodging the swords and knives being thrown at him. "Need a hand?" said Zaira landing on the same roof as him. "I think me and Abu can handle them." said Aladdin leaning against the railing. "I could go back to Beni and pay for the food." said Zaira. "Don't worry. They'll give up eventually." said Aladdin until a sword almost hit their feet between them. "You were saying?" said Zaira. "Not the tiem for that meet us at our usual spot." said Aladdin running off again. Razoul gravbed me by the jacket lifting my feet off the ground making my body face him. "Raz, good to see ya. But i havent done a thing." said Zaira. "I know you did that on purpose with the Bamboos." said Razoul as i slid out of my jacket and took off. "Stop Thieves!" said a fat guard. I ran down the market place and turned the corner to catch my breath. I pushed my really long hair into a messy ponytail then heard something drop. Looking down to the dagger from the day i left agrabah. I picked it up and admired the details on the sheath. 'i wonder who left it.' i thought. "Princess Zaira?" said a small voice. I snapped out of it and looked ahead of me spotting a boy with a blue vest on. "Ravi, what are you doing here all alone?" said Zaira hiding the dagger in my other pocket. "I was hungry and thought i could find food for me and my siblings. But how come your not at the palace?" said Ravi. "Lets keep this a secret ok? How about we go out and get the food?" said Zaira leading him to her hideout.
"Dezu. We're going out. Wanna join us?" she says walking into the torn up building. Dezu got up from the piles of pillows and walked towards her and Ravi who was hiding behind her. "Dezu this is Ravi. Ravi this is my friend Dezu." said Zaira. Dezu bowed and swept them off the ground and into the sky. Ravi instantly held onto the edge of Dezu so he wont fall off. They soared across the desert sand and reached the canyons. Dezu lowered herself for Zaira and Ravi to hop off once they were close to a large cave. "What are we doing here?" said Ravi as Zaira shushed quietly. She turned around the corner carefully seeing a group of men either asleep or cleaning their swords. "You wanted to help your family right? Well Abismal has piles of treasure in the other room. We get what we need and out fast before anyone notices us." said Zaira. Ravi nodded and quietly followed her lead. She went ahead checking if the men spotted her and gesturing Ravi that the coast was clear. Taking the sacks Ravi scooped up the gold couns and jewels inside while Zaira was on look out. "Hey whos in there?" said a male voice. 'hide.' Zaira mouthed while she brushed her hair and used a near by rag to wipe away any dirt off of her face. A large shoet man walked in seeing Zaira looking at the map on the walls of the cave. "Why Ri. Cant get enough of me huh?" said the man looking lovestrucked. Zaira rolled her eyes as Ravi made a puke motion while hiding behind the boulders. "I was actually bored so i thought i might as well see what you stolen this time, Abismal." said Zaira facing him. "It's good thing your here. I saw this jeweled brush and thought you might like it." said Abasmal grabbing it off the pile of treasure near Ravi. He sighed and saw Abismal's head henchmen walking in spotting him. "Sir its seems we got another intruder." said the man. Zaira grabbed his hat and pulled it over his eyes tightly az Ravi took her hand and left the room. "Stop those two." said Abismal trying to pull the hat off. The men chased after them and had them cornered. "What do we do now princess?" said Ravi. Zaira whistles for Dezu and grabbed Ravis hand tightly. Dezu speed past the men in a flash and left behind nothing but dust clouds where Zaira and Ravi once stood. They flew back into the sky and back to Agrabah. "Thanks princess." said Ravi as they reached the alley. "Anytime just dont tell anyone about my secret." said Zaira. "Of course." said Ravi hopping off Dezu and bowed his head. Zaira smiled and flew back to her home seeing Ravi and his siblings holding pieces of bread out to him. Zaria got off landing carefully on the stairs to Aladdins home and heard him singing softly. "See you in the morning, Dezu." she whispered and walked up the steps while dodging the boards. "Hey." said Zaira. Aladdin turned around and smiled walking towards her. "Where were you?" said Aladdin hugging her. "Around. But another day to avoid the guards. How you been?" said Zaira worried. She knew Aladdin enough to know hes upset and trying to hide it from her. "Its the snobby prince getting to me. How im always nothing but a streetrat no matter what." said Aladdin. "Dont listen ok. I bet the princess can trach him a lesson. Come on lets get sleep." said Zaira getting into her pillow pile and blanket. "Your right. Night." said Aladdin sleeping next to Abu. She smiled and looked at the window staring at the palace and slept.
