The day of Kim and Adam's wedding had finally arrived. The setting was breathtaking, with the ceremony taking place near the ocean. The sound of waves gently crashing against the shore added a serene backdrop to the beautifully decorated chairs and the waiting priest.

Guests were seated, eagerly anticipating the moment when Kim would walk down the aisle. Jay stood beside her, ready to escort his sister. Kim took a deep breath, her nerves and excitement mingling.

As the music began to play, Jay offered his arm to Kim. "Ready?" he asked softly.

Kim nodded, her eyes shining with emotion. "Ready."

They began their walk down the aisle, the guests turning to watch. Kim's heart swelled with gratitude and love for her brother. When they reached the end, Kim turned to Jay, her voice filled with emotion. "Thank you, Jay."

Jay nodded, a tender smile on his face. He leaned in and kissed her cheek. "Love you, sis."

Kim's eyes glistened with tears of happiness as she took her place beside Adam.

The ceremony was in full swing, with the ocean providing a stunning backdrop. The priest turned to Ashley and Jay, asking for the rings.

Ashley smoothly handed over Kim's ring, but Jay struggled with Adam's. The ring seemed stuck, and the unit couldn't help but comment.

"Come on, Jay, you got this!" Atwater called out, chuckling.

"Need some help there?" Voight teased.

Jay finally managed to get the ring off, but in his haste, he accidentally flung it. The ring sailed through the air and, to everyone's shock, landed in a fish's mouth in the nearby water.

The unit erupted in laughter and gasps. "Did that just happen?" Erin exclaimed.

Jay swore under his breath. "Adam, I'm so sorry!"

Adam, trying to keep his cool, pointed to the water. "Get my ring!"

Jay stood on the edge, contemplating his next move. Ashley, alarmed, yelled, "What are you doing?"

Without hesitation, Jay jumped into the water. Erin quickly removed the long part of her dress and jumped in after him.

The guests watched in amazement as Jay and Erin swam towards the fish.

Erin and Jay swam towards the waterfall, the cool water refreshing after the chaos of the ring mishap. They stopped at a small ledge near the cascading water, catching their breath.

Back on shore, the unit watched with a mix of amusement and concern. "Only Jay could turn a wedding into an adventure," Atwater commented, shaking his head.

Voight chuckled. "He's always been one for the dramatic."

Ashley, however, was not amused. She cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted, "Jay Halstead! Get back here right now!"

Jay looked at Erin, who was trying to stifle a laugh. He held out his hand to her. "Ready to go back?"

Erin took his hand, a smile playing on her lips. "Let's do this."

As they swam back towards the shore, the unit continued to comment on the spectacle. "This is definitely one for the books," Upton said, grinning.

When they finally reached the shore, Jay handed the ring to Adam, who was waiting with a relieved smile. "Thanks, man. You really went above and beyond."

Jay shrugged, still holding Erin's hand. "Anything for you, buddy."

Ashley approached, her expression a mix of frustration and relief. "Jay, you scared me half to death!"

Jay gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry, Ash. Just had to make sure we got the ring back."

Erin, still holding Jay's hand, looked at Ashley. "He's all yours now."

Ashley nodded, taking Jay's other hand. "Let's get back to the ceremony."

With the ring safely in Adam's possession, the wedding continued, and the unit settled back into their seats, ready to witness the rest of the beautiful ceremony.

The wedding ceremony concluded beautifully, with Kim and Adam officially married. The guests cheered as the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife. The reception area was soon filled with laughter, music, and the clinking of glasses.

As the evening progressed, Ashley seemed unusually nervous. She took a deep breath and approached Jay, who was chatting with Erin.

"Jay, can I talk to you for a moment?" Ashley asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Jay nodded, curious. "Sure, what's up?"

Ashley led him to a quieter spot near the edge of the reception area. She took another deep breath, then got down on one knee, pulling out a small box from her pocket.

"Jay Halstead, will you marry me?" Ashley asked, her eyes filled with hope and love.

Jay was taken aback, his eyes widening in surprise. He glanced over at Erin, who was watching from a distance. Erin gave him a supportive nod and a warm smile, silently encouraging him.

Jay's face broke into a wide smile. He looked back at Ashley, his heart full. "Yes, Ashley. I will marry you."

The guests, noticing the proposal, erupted into applause and cheers. Jay helped Ashley to her feet and pulled her into a tight embrace, sealing their engagement with a kiss.

Erin watched them, feeling a mix of happiness and a touch of wistfulness. She was genuinely happy for Jay and Ashley, and she knew that this was the start of a new chapter for them.

Kim, noticing the commotion, walked over with Adam. "What's going on here?" she asked, grinning.

Jay turned to his sister, still holding Ashley's hand. "Ashley just proposed, and I said yes."

Kim's eyes lit up with joy. "Congratulations! This is amazing news!"

The celebration continued with even more enthusiasm, as the unit toasted to Kim and Adam's wedding and Jay and Ashley's engagement.
