Big Iron

Nedzu was currently running his fingers through his fur wondering how he can fix this mess. Looking at the news broadcast he sees a replay of Izuku fighting his way through a mass of villains. Nedzu couldn't care less about Izuku being shown killing some lowlife villains as he could spin that into a positive. It was the fact an entire classroom of people including some top tier hero's just disappeared and haven't been seen since that has him in a bind.

Currently standing infront of him were the entire families of class 1-A. Currently one father is screaming and acting up but is stopped by his wife who slaps him upside the head.

"So let me get this straight lil guy. That weapon Miruko used to help save my daughter was some kinda teleporter? So where'd they go?" A large minotaur woman with long blonde hair matching her daughters said looking down at the rodent who is currently going over notes left to him by someone.

"That's correct. The student named Izuku Midoriya left me notes explaining what it does. According to these papers the 'Transportal Ponder' uses vibrational harmoics to lock onto a specific frequency and when activated it uses a special cold fusion battery to power itself for the teleportation." Nedzu says as A frog like woman speaks up.

"So the one shown slaughtering those villains on the news is the one who built the device? Where is it locked in to teleport them. I understand that it may be for security purposes to keep them outta harms way but me and every other parent here are worried." Beru Asui says as she hopes to be given information.

"Yeah, we do want to know where our daughter is but safety comes first. That young mans quick thinking saved our daughters life and possibly even her innocence. Besides a device like that could revolutionize the transportation industry and we'd love to meet with him." A man speaks up. The man being Keiichi Yaoyorozu, Momo's father.

"That's true, oh by the way let me know if you need help pulling his name outta the mud because of the asshole media outlets. He saved my daughter, he definitely deserves some back up against them." Speaks Nakami Yaoyorozu. Momo's mother.

"I'm sorry to say but, the device was locked onto a seperate universe entirely. As hard as it is to believe, human resonance theory is real and Izuku and Miruko proved it. When hit by the late Professor Phantasms quirk he and Miruko were vibrated at such high resonances that they were teleported to an alternate plane of reality. According to notes and these Holotapes you all have been seeing i can only guess that they would up at this mythical "Think Tank" Izuku describes as "Every cartoon mad scientists dream labratory" as they helped him to create the device. They aren't being found anywhere on eartg because they aren't on our earth." Nedzu says as Some parents begin to whisper and talk amongst themselves. A man with lizard scales who has remained silent this whole time then speaks up.

"This alternate earth, is it safe? And if it isn't safe, is that boy Izuku Midoriya going to protect them all?" The man asks as he stares at Nedzu who nods his head.

"Yes, izuku has told me multiple times that while he despises the fact i stuffed him into the hero course rather than support he will do everything in his ability to keep his classmates safe. I don't have reason to doubt him either." Nedzu says as A nother voice speaks up walking into the room.

"And doubt him you shouldn't. I know Izuku personally. That boy...sorry, that man is one of the few people the wasteland itself revears as a hero. Even abominations such as tunnelers fear the very ground he walks. Sorry I'm late Nedzu i was grabbing Izukus notes for his "Transportal misshap" contingency plans. Perhaps i can ease these families worries." Speaks a man covered in Bandages and gaws to keep his burned skin safe.

"And who might you be stranger? Not to be rude but are you in pain? Do you need some ointments or creames?" Speaks a man wearing a priests attire as The bandaged man smiles at this.

"Oh no I'm in no pain. Nor do i need any ointment or creames. Drugs of any kind are not permitted by my faith you are kind to offer though. Besides i learned long ago that they have no effect on me. My name is Joahua Graham. I am a resident of the world that your children were sent too. I was born in the radioactive ruins of Ogden, what soon came to be known as New Canaan. I am a New Canannite. What i can tell you is that your children are safe in what is known as "The Sink" it's a massive apartment in what is the main base of operations for the think tank and it has plenty of room for them. Since the brains behind the think tank no longer have their bodies the rooms became available and same with the small village they build called Higgs Village which has plenty of furnished homes they can stay in." Joshua says as he sets down some notebooks.

"You're from that world? Whats it like? So you believe our children are safe?" Asks Nakami who gets a nod from Joshua.

"Yes to all those. The world is a radioactive remnant of the world from over 200 years ago. What we call " The great war" where china nuked the entirety of the planet while the United states retaliated. It left the world a destroyed and desolate wasteland full of raiders, psychos, mutants and more. But your kids are as safe as can be. Izuku is one of the few people that are revered in the wastelands as a hero. He will fight and die to keep your kids safe. Believe me when i say that fact alone has your childrens guaranteed safety from literally everything tge wastes can throw at them." Joshua states as he begins explaining and answering questions for the families.

While Joshua graham deals with that Nedzu turns his attention to the notes and begins skimming through them trying as hard as he can and pushing his quirk high spec to its very limits. Still he is unable to figure out anything about remaking or building the transportal ponder for himself to help get the students back. Izuku Midoriya who made the notes and built the device with the resources of this Think Tank is obviously far more intelligent than anyone even himself gives him credit for.

Soon everything quiets down as Nedzu is unknowingly heard muttering through the notes as though he were insane trying to make heads or tails of the device. Joshua chuckles softly to himself as the families who berated him with questions are now more reassured then ever and actually a bit calm but still can be seen woth worry written on their faces. Soon Joshua walks over and gains Nedzu's attention.

"Don't bother trying to figure out how to build the device. Izuku and the think tank are the only beings intelligent enough to actually make it. Honestly it's as though that boys mind was just built different than everyone elses. He soaked up the nuclear based technology of my home better than anyone before ever has and he has even made improvements to existing tech that was thought entirely lost or perfected. These notes of his are plain english, step by step instructions on how to make the device and yet i believe not even the institute would be capable of making something this advanced even by following this guide to the letter. Its best to just let Izuku do what he can from my home and get everyone back safely." Joshua graham speaks as he pulls the notes from Nedzu who sighs at his inability to understand what is being talked about in the notes. Nedzu has never before been beaten in smarts. Until now that is.

"You're right. But i still worry. Those are my students. I am supposed to keep them safe and i was unable to do so. Now i just have to make sure the media doesn't spin this in some kind of quirkist "all quirkless are violent savages" speal. So i guess a press conference will be required. Thank you for atleast giving me a chance at finding out how to return my students. Those notes...they're truly just better. I couldn't make heads or tails of it...im sorry everyone." Nedzu says as One parent begins laughing. Its not a bitter or dirisive laugh as it portrayed a light hearted softness to it before said parent began stepping forward.

"Okay, this is kind of funny. Nedzu, you are touted as being the smartest being on 3 continents and you're stumped by some kids instructional notes? How intelligent is that kid? He literally would have to be considered smarter than you by quite a large margin if you really cant make anything out of step by step instructions like...this...this can't be right...seriously? This is insane. Nedzu why isn't this kid already a graduated support technician?" Keiichi says as he being rather smart as well looks over the notes as he begins to slowly comprehend what he's looking at.

"Nedzu i can't understand these notes or how to build the device but i can easily understand what it does by reading the tiny cliffnotes and fine print. What Izuku midoriya is describing is essentially a hand held wormhole generator that collapses reality and folds space time around a designated area actively teleporting that entire space or being through what is essentially a tunnel that bores itself OUTSIDE OUR REALITY!!! Only to then once again reverse the order to plant that person or space into another spot in exitence whereever the user chooses. Why is someone who can build this Not already a part of your support technicians courses?" Keichi asks a bit outraged that this level of genius is not being nutured.

"Simply because we have nothing to teach him. He would show up for one class, test out of all years instantly and be on his merry way with Miruko as an unprotected, underage technology genius who would have likely been kidnapped and tortured to build the best equipment for whoever captured him. I felt it was better to have him earn his hero's license as it would give him a level of safety i thought he required...but based on the leaked footage you all saw in the news...i guess my fears were unfounded." Nedzu says as he sees Joshua graham take back the Notes before leaving with the rest of the parents to answer more questions as Nedzu just hopes izuku is protecting the students.

The Sink.

Miruko sighs as she rubs her head groaning about the massive headache she has. All the students and teachers are currently also lying on the floor of the sinks overlook. The night sky looking as bright as ever with the etherreal glow of the radioactive soil and blaring lights of both the forbidden zone and the rest of the Big Mountain crater. Miruko finds herself admiring the scenery before standing up and calling out.

"Alright people sound off if you're alive. Momo Yaoyoyoru, Here! Kyoka Jirou, Here, Mina Ashido, Present. Habuko Mongoose, Im here Miruko. Tooru Hagakure, Here! Ochako Uraraka, Here! Tsuyu Asui, Kero Present! Pony Tsunatori, Here! Ibara Shiozaki, Im here. Setsuna Tokage! Here. Yui Kodai, Hm here. Itsuka Kendo, im fine. Reiko yanagi, i am still among the living. Kinoko komori, im here teach. Mawata Fuwa, Here teach! Camie Utsushimi, That was lit fam! Saiko Intelli, i am unharmed at present. Melissa Shield, here and in one piece teach. Finally Ito Hanabi!, here Miruko!" Miruko asks getting a response from everyone as she sighs happily knowing they're all okay.

Looking beside her she sees that Midnight, 13, tatsumaki and Toshinori are currently looking around in aww before snapping out of it and Miruko chuckling to herself as she speaks up again.

"Alright everyone we have to stay together here. Big Mountain is not a place that you should be wandering off in. If the violently homocidal lobotomites don't get you, the robobrains, cyberdogs, nightstalkers, cazadors or Y-13 trauma harnesses will. Their's also the feral Ghouls who wander about to worry about but they stick to the communist camp a little ways south east of here. Now follow me we have to make sure you lot didn't lose anything jumping realities." Miruko says as she walks into the sink proper.

"Greeting Mrs. Courier, it has been sometime since we've seen you. I hope you will stay with us for awhile. Is there anyway i can help you with?" The main circle holographic display in the center of the room speaks as Miruko shakes her head.

"Nah but doc sure can. DOC YOU OLD BASTARD WAKE THE FUCK UP!" Miruko says as tge large cylinder in the corner of the roon wakes up slowly with a few confused mutters.

"HUH? Whuh?, Oh Miruko, good to see yah again. Do you need a check up or some healing?" The cylinder speaks in a deep southern texan drawl.

"Not for me big guy. These lot behind me. They need a quick check up and healing. Do what you can...hey did you ever fix that problem you were having?" Miruko says as she points to all 24 of the other visitors as doc hms to himself before speaking.

"You mean the lobotomite problem? Yeah i fixed that long ago when Izuku was first put inside me. The coding bug was repaired automatically when you installed my backup. Alright one at a time people children first." Doc says as he checks off each of the students one by one noticing the same thing between them all with having a different genome than normal mutants and people. As he gets to toshinori docs alarms ring out and his cylinder door is immediately locked in place as Miruko looks at doc who immediately sedates Toshinori.

"Miruko Ma'am this patient has missing organs, blood poisoning and a terminal cancer cluster attached to his remaining lung. I sedated the patient and need permission to operate to save this mans life. If not he will die in the next 3 years." Doc says as Miruko looks at him astonished somethibg could actually hurt All-Might that much.

"Permission granted! Full cybernetics override authorization Zeta, echo, delta, 3359. Save that guant idiot and replace his damn missing organs and bones with the cybernetic versions NOW! i also want that cancer analyzed so Izuku can take a look at it when he gets here." Miruko says looking to the shocked students and teachers who didn't know about the injuries.

"Damn it Izuku, get here quickly." Miruko says as the frantic sounds of emergency surgery can be heard from Doc.

Meanwhile at Nipton road Pit Stop

Izuku is currently opening fire with his favorite shotgun 'Dinner bell' blasting a few Viper Raiders and turning them into meat confetti.

"We have to get him guys! His blood is the key to making the vipers the best most powerful tribe in the wastes!" Calls a female viper leader as she opens fire on Izuku's posiition as he's hiding behind the brick wall noticing a few giant rad scorpions making their way towards the sounds of gunfire.

Groaning izuku quickly pops out of cover and blasts the remaining three raiders with his favorite pistol "A light shining in darkness". Turning around Izuku quickly runs at the rad scorpions wielding a super sledge and screaming as he eyes behind his survalist helmet show them to be blood red with rage. He is almost there, he just has to make it to the drive in.

U.A. Press Conference

Nedzu was currently standing at a podium as flashes of light were seen from cameras taking pictures. An entire room filled with news anchors, newspaper reporters and journalists of all kinds. Looking at the clock a small bell rings making everyone sits down in their seats as Nedzu finally speaks up.

"As you all know, a small break in occured just about 7 days ago. An unknown assailant proceeded to use his quirk to age the iron gate to dust where the media broke in. I increased security and even put 2 on call heros on duty to protect the children incase anything went wrong...as you all saw from the leaked footage something indeed did go wrong. Now i am taking questions pertaining to the attack only. If you test me i will have you escorted out by Ryukyuu who is proceeding over this as head of security until Mirukos return." Nedzu speaks as he sees many people raising their hands. Pointing to one woman she rises and immediately begins.

"My name is yes Im Maryll, im with the Musutafu times. What do you know about the people who broke in?" Maryll asks as Nedzu sighs.

"They called themselves the League of villains and they were here to kill All-Might. They had planned to do this by using a bioengineered weapon they called Nomu. Thankfully that didn't take place." Nedzu says as Maryll nods.

"Because that unwanted fucking null had weapons no one has ever seen before." Speaks a man just loud enough for everyone to hear as Nedzu glares at the man.

"I'd prefer you use my students name sir. Since you seem so interested what is your question." Nedzu says as a statement.

"My names Lloyd, for indigo forums. Yeah why was the geneless freak even among normal people anyway? Why didn't you just." Lloyd speaks getting knocked out by Ryukyuu as she throws him out the door where Aizawa makes sure to drag him outside.

"Let that be a lesson to the rest of you. I will not hesitate to enforce discrimination laws to the fullest extent i can. Now who has any REAL questions for Nedzu." Ryukyuu says as she heads back to her position.

"Louis Lane from the Daily Planet Metropolis. I have to ask you right now, what happened to the missing persons? The video shows the Rabbit hero Miruko pull out a weird electric gun and in a flash of blue lightning 24 people disappear? where'd they go? What happened? How did that happen? Sorry that's more than one question." Louis lane says embarrassed about her line of questioning making Nedzu smile.

"Don't worry i can answer all of those. What you saw in the leaked footage was a real event yes, miruko pulled out an invention that was created by Izuku midoriya. He calls it the "transportal Ponder" i honestly took a look at the notes for the device and i admit... I was stumped. I couldn't make heads or tails of what i was looking at. However i know what it does. BAsed on what Izuku left in cliff notes and fine print with encryption cyphers i have never seen before he describes the device as a cold fusion, space time transporter. Essentially what the device does is use actual cold fusion technology to warp space time around a subject, bore a tunnel outside reality for traversal and reverse the process to plop the traveller down in the selected zone of transport. The transportal ponder Miruko used was set for Area of effect rather than subject and she used it to get herself, her students and her co-workers to safety. As for where they are...that required a bit of back tracking. 10 months ago Miruko saved Izuku midoriya from Professor Phantasms trigger boosted quirk. What happened was they were vibrated at such high frequency rather than simply phasing out of existence entirely Professor Phantasm vibrated them into an alternate reality all together. In that reality Miruko and Izuku Midoriya spent 20 years together surviving, fighting, killing. The world they were in was a post nuclear apocalyptic 19050's futuristic art Deco united states. BAsed on what notes Izuku left behind he had the transportal ponder Miruko used set to a place called "The Big MT" which is a safe haven research base. That is where miruko and the others ended up. I have been informed that The Big MT is completely safe by a resident from that world who travelled to our world from there." Nedzu says as Louis lane begins scribbling her notes excited for such a story as she once again raises her pencil.

"Is there anyway for them all to get back here? And what about the students parents? Are they in the know about what happened?" Louis asks as Nedzu nods his head.

"YEs their is a way back and it simply requires the transportal ponder. izuku and Miruko built up a lot of contingencies together to ensure the full safety and training of the future heros. They will be back soon. As for the parents i have made sure they were informed before this Conference was even needed. Any more questions?" Nedzu says as Louis sits down wondering if maybe she should give the league a call to help out.

"I have a question. Why was Izuku Midoriya even in the Hero course. Now don't get me wrong, based on what we all saw he's damn good enough to be top 3 hero material already but based on what you said it seems more like he'd prefer the Support course. isn't he taking up one of the support course recommended slots?" Chitose from shoowasha publishing says with a smirk as Nedzu glares at her.

"I put izuku midoriya into the Hero course while slotting him as a support course recommendation because despite the platitudes from Miruko, the other worlds resident and even Izuku Himself i felt leaving an at the time 14 year old technology genius to his own devices would have lead to a terrorist cell like the MLA remnants to kidnap him and use him to build weapons for quirked individuals who didn't need it or weapons to mass slaughter the quirkless or those seen with unheroic and " villainous" quirks. Clearly my fears were unfounded as he very clearly is able to hold his own against insurmountable odds." Nedzu says as he narrows his eyes at Chitose.

"Hmm something else, yiu just said 14 but earlier you said he spent 20 years in that world with miruko. How can be 14 when in actuality he is 34 based on that available information?" Chitose asks as Nedzu sighs shaking his head.

"Honestly we only have theories right now. Even Izuku doesn't fully know why he and miruko are back to being 20 years younger. But his leading theory is that over the course of the 20 years he spent in the other world his and Mirukos resonance frequency was adapting to that universes essentially making it so they would be seen to that universe as native residents. However when they used the transportal ponder for the first time in that world with the settings set to this universes frequency it sort of reset their bodies to a point just before their bodies began the adaptation to the new frequency of that world. Essentially resetting their ages to just after 10 months of being gone. I don't fully understand it. Midoriya would be able to explain it better than i ever could." Nedzu says as Chitose smiles happily before speaking once more.

"So what is U.A. going to do about the sports festival or the remaining Members if the league of villains? Honestly after what izuku did to them i feel they wont try anything that stupid again anytime soon unless they're being lead by a petulant man child." Chitose asks as Nedzu once more sighs.

" the sports festival will be held on the same date. The HPSC doesn't want to show weakness in the face of what has happened. Despite my misgivings and pleadings to reschedule it they are insistent in the demand i keep to the status quo. As for the league...we will find where you are, we will find who is backing you and who is making these bioweapons. League of Villains, your days are numbered." Nedzu says as more flashes of light begin assaulting him as others around the room begin rising and asking more questions of the animal principal. Nedzu just keeps a straight face as he thinks to himself hoping against all odds that Izuku and the others return soon. He needs to ensure everyone's safety.
