Chapter 3- Girl's Night

She put her daughter down so she could run ahead of them to tell Creed and Jordan that she was there.

When they were alone, Mia turned to Abel, fixing her shirt, untucking it from her skirt.

"When did the guys get here?" she asked.

He shifted her gaze from her legs up to her waist, watching as she untucked her shirt, following the buttons up to see her unbutton the first two buttons, swallowing as he met her gaze.

She blushed with a smirk on her face, standing there with her hands on her hips.

"A couple hours ago" he cleared his throat, "they came down from Tacoma and Rogue River yesterday. LA and the Nomads rolled up a couple hours ago" he replied.

Mia nodded, as she turned to grab her bag and stuff from the car so she could change.

"How was your shift?" he added, taking the bags from her.

Mia sighed, "we were really crazy. Abby and I were the only ones on trauma call for the weekend, so it was literally nuts" she said looking exhausted and defeated.

"Don't forget about Dr. Douche" Abby added as the duo walked over to the group.

Mia smirked and shook her head blushing, giving Abby a knowing look.

They each knew what the look was about. Neither one of them vibed with the new trauma attending, but they couldn't deny that he was gorgeous looking.

As usual, Abel noticed what others didn't.

"What's the look for?" he asked Abby.

"Dr. Douche certainly had eyes for Mia during our meeting. He had no use for the measly nurses like me, but he had no problem staring at Dr. Teller here" she teased.

Abel snapped his gaze at Mia.

She blushed at the compliment and waved Abby off. "No, he was not, stop causing problems, Trouble" she teased her friend.

Not looking back to get Abel's reaction, Mia walked into the clubhouse to be met with a packed room.

"Baby Girl!" she heard from the bar area.

Mia looked through the sea of faces, stopping when she saw Creed.

She couldn't help but take off running, right into his arms.

She couldn't help it. She missed him so much.

"I missed you so much Creed. How have you guys been doing?" she asked, pulling away from him so he could look her over.

"You look skinny and stressed. Is that asshole causing trouble?" he asked.

"Creed" she warned.

Mia knew that Creed and Abel had some tension since she came back home.

Creed didn't think that Abel treated her right.

"I am hanging in there, Creed. Be nice" she reprimanded before moving to give Jordan a hug.

"We missed you Pumpkin Spice" he kissed her cheek before pulling away.

Mia smiled at the nickname, "I missed you guys too. I am so glad that you are here" she said.

"We are here to help. Want to tell us what all this bullshit is about?" Creed asked.

Abel stepped up so he was directly behind Mia and in front of the Nomads.

"We will talk about that later. Right now, we are having a family barbeque" Mia could feel how tense Able was delivering his hidden message.

Abel grabbed Mia away from them.

She looked between them knowingly. If she wasn't in the middle of them, then something bad was going to happen.

"Come on, no club talk. Go hang out with Gracie. She really missed you all. I have to go get the sausage and peppers ready" she instructed leaving the boys and walked into the kitchen.

Abel and Creed both stood there sizing each other up while Mia walked away.

"We need to talk this weekend" Abel said.

"We definitely do" Creed replied.

Noah and Tommy walked over and stood next to the guys.

"Okay, let's go get a beer" Noah pulled Creed away from the situation.

"Really? When they first get here?" Tommy patronized his brother.

"I can't help it Tommy" Abel replied.

"Well, reign it in" he advised his brother.

Mia on the other hand left and walked into the kitchen.

Leah had everything ready for her.

Greeting her sister-in-law, she got to work.

Mia started seasoning the meat and mixing it before adding it to sauté, while Abby joined the conversation.

"So, how was the new trauma surgeon?" Leah asked.

Mia and Abby looked at each other with smirks.

"Good luck with that one" Abby scoffed.

"He's got a chip on his shoulder, thinking he's God's gift to medicine. He's got a problem with nurses" she said looking for Leah's reaction.

"Excuse me? Where the hell does he think, he is going to get without the nurse's support?" she snapped.

"Preach!" Abby teased in agreement.

Mia just started laughing, "I totally agree, and Abby totally gave it to him in support of the nurses. He's going to learn really quick, don't worry" she said.

Before anyone could see anything else, Tommy walked into the kitchen with a Tupperware of food.

"Hey, sorry, did I break something up?" he asked.

Leah shook her head and got up to wrap her arm around her husband.

"No babe, we are good. What do you need?" she asked.

"I brought my sister-in-law a Tupperware for her sausage and peppers" he replied.

Mia smiled and leaned over, with her hands over the dish and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks brother-in-law. These just need a couple more minutes if you want to watch them for a minute. I am going to change my shoes. My feet are burning in these heels" she said.

He nodded and took the spoon from her.

"Go ahead. Gracie's stuff is in Abel's room" he informed her.

Mia took off her heels and carried them as she ran to the back, into Abel's suite to her room with Gracie.

While she was in their room, she dropped her bag on the bed and started to change her shoes.

After she changed into some slippers, she could feel the blood rushing to her feet with relief.

Leaving the suite and making her way towards the common room, she heard Gracie's laughter coming from outside.

She walked out and smiled when she saw Grace sitting on Creed's lap while she ate her food.

When Mia sat down next to them, Gracie was transferred into her mom's lap.

Mia wrapped her arms around her daughter.

"I'm glad you had fun with daddy. What do you want to do tonight? Popcorn and a movie?" she asked her daughter.

Gracie smiled brightly and rested against her mom.

She nodded and wrapped her arms around Mia's waist as much as she could.

Mia smiled and kissed the top of her head, wrapped her arms around her.

Mia looked up as a full plate was put in front of her.

Jordan sat down with Noah, Romeo, and Junior across from Creed and Mia with a plate of their own.

"Thanks Noah" she said.

"No worries Gorgeous. You doing okay?" Noah asked.

"Yeah, Creed told us what happened with Teller. How's that situation?" Romeo added.

Mia sighed, "well, she's here and she's all over Abel, so I just gave up on that" she replied, feeling completely protected around her friends.

She started digging into her food as she watched the guys react to what she said.

Mia wasn't as close to Romeo and Junior as she was to the Nomads, but they were still her friends.

Creed tensed at hearing her news, finding Abel across the lot, and glared.

"Hey Peanut, why don't you go get me a cupcake and another diet coke for your mom" he picked her up and put her on the ground.

He waited a minute for her to be out of earshot before he snapped.

"That's fucking bullshit Mia. He fucking has responsibilities to you and Gracie. When he put that fucking ring on your finger, he should have gotten fucking responsible" he snarled in Abel's direction.

Mia sighed; she was over it.

She put a hand on his shoulder in a gesture to calm him down.

"I'm okay, I promise it's fine. I'm just focusing on my baby girl. She's all I need" she replied.

"Well, we are going to be here until things get sorted out. We may need to go on lockdown for a while until things get settled" Jordan added.

Mia scoffed and shook her head with a laugh.

"You think he actually cares about me? No. Gracie, yes. The club for sure, hell even Tammy but not me" she replied.

Before he could say anything else, Leah walked over to them.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt, but Mia you need to eat, so let me take Gracie so you can finish your dinner" she reached out for her niece.

Mia smiled as she stretched out her muscles.

"Thanks Leah" she expressed her gratitude as she dug into her food while catching up with Creed, Jordan and the guys from LA.

Abel sat next to his brother at the table across from his wife.

He haphazardly put a cigarette in his mouth as he glared at Creed.

Out of anyone, Mia was closer with Creed. They had a special bond that no one really understood.

Tommy smirked at his brother as he watched him glare at his friend.

"You stare any longer and your eyeballs will pop out" he stated around a chug of his beer.

"Shut up! She's taken" he growled.

Tommy smirked at his brother.

"When has that ever stopped you before?" he teased.

Abel glared at his brother, "you're supposed to be my brother, right?" Abel narrowed his eyes.

Tommy laughed and took a chug of his beer.

"I am Switzerland. She deserves better than you, so you need to either let her go or man up" he said nodding towards Creed and Mia.

Abel sighed as he ran a hand over his face.

"I will kill myself before I let her move on with Creed" he stated.

He knew that he needed to get his act together, even more so now that Creed was in Charming.

Something happened with them, and he intended to find out what it was.

The barbeque was great though. Everyone got along and got to hang out.

Mia hadn't felt so free and happy in the clubhouse in a long time.

She felt safe and protected with Creed and Jordan there.

Towards the end of the night, she walked into the kitchen to find her mother-in-law doing the dishes.

"Here, let me help you Chloe" she said pulling up her sleeves to come help.

Chloe smiled over her shoulder and waved her off.

"No honey, you have fun. Enjoy your night. Take a seat. I am just glad that you came" she replied.

"Thanks for doing this, Chloe. I really needed this break. It's been a long time since I felt this good and comfortable in the clubhouse" she said.

Chloe nodded in understanding. She had gone through something similar with Jax.

She knew exactly what Mia was feeling and going through.

"That's good honey. I'm glad. This is your home. You are the daughter of a First Nine" she replied.

Mia smiled as she made herself some tea and helped herself to a cup.

She didn't feel bad for venting to Chloe.

When Mia first started a relationship with Abel, Chloe and Leah were really there for her.

They helped her navigate from a daughter of the club to an Old Lady and what that means.

Those girls were her lifeline the first couple years.

They were there for her during Abel's first run and gave her a rundown of the dos and don'ts.

Chloe smiled at her daughter-in-law.

"Honey, I am glad that you were able to come. We've missed you around here" she said.

Before Mia could reply, Abel walked through the clubhouse and to the kitchen doorway before stopping when he heard Mia talking.

He knew it wasn't right to eavesdrop, but it was the only way for him to know how she truly feels.

He could help but be tense, when he heard her mention the new guy she was working with.

When he heard his mom laugh, he got nervous.

"Yeah, I am sorry I was late. I had a meeting with the new trauma attending Adam Kacey" she informed her mother-in-law.

Chloe giggled over the dishes.

"Isn't he fun to look at?" Chloe teased.

Mia smiled around her tea, "he's an asshole who has a superiority complex. But yes, he is gorgeous to look at" she laughed.

Leah walked through the clubhouse and stopped when she saw Abel standing outside the kitchen.

He froze when he saw Leah and shook his head, indicating for her to keep his presence quiet.

Leah just shook her head and continued into the kitchen.

Mia and Chloe turned to see Leah walk in with some Tupperware.

"What?" she asked.

"You better go see the chaos and drama your pint size terror is doing with the Rogue River boys" she said.

Mia looked at her curiously before following Leah out through the clubhouse to the fire pit outside.

They each leant against the club doors to see Grace running circles around the Rogue River Nomads.

Currently, she was arguing with Stone.

"You have to move your bike. You are blocking my playset" she demanded.

He knelt in front of her, "that's my spot half-pint, sorry kid" he replied.

Grace narrowed her eyes and put her hands up on her hips. She was not happy.

Shooting daggers at Stone, she practically seethed, "my name is Grace, not kid or half-pint. This is my family's club, so you need to move the bike" she glared at him.

Mia looked around the club to garner reactions.

Abel was standing with Tommy looking on amused with the rest of the guys.

Gemma was standing with Clay smirking, looking proud of her great-grandchild.

Abel met Mia's gaze and gave her a look to show that he would follow her lead.

Mia walked outside and cleared her throat, crossing her arms across her chest.

Grace turned to see her mom with an innocent smile on her face.

"Hi Mama" she greeted.

Mia gave Grace a knowing look, "uh uh, what do you say?" she asked.

Grace sighed and turned to Stone, "I'm sorry Stone" she said.

The guys looked on amused, trying to hide their laughter.

"It's okay half-pint, I'll move my bike tomorrow okay" he asked.

She nodded, "thanks" she replied before turning to her mom.

Mia nodded, "that's better. Come on, let's start wrapping things up. You have school tomorrow" she said.

Gracie nodded and ran over to her dad.

Abel picked her up and carried her into his chest, kissing the top of her head as she rested against him.

"Come on Angel, let's go pack up your stuff" he said to her as he carried her through the clubhouse and back to his suite.

Once he got into his room, he sat at the edge of his bed and watched as she went around the room and gathered all her stuff.

"Daddy, will you pick me up from school tomorrow?" she asked.

Abel grabbed her bag in one hand and picked her up with the other.

"We'll talk to your mom about it later" he replied as he walked her out.

Mia was loading the car with leftovers from Chloe when he walked over.

She gave her mother-in-law a hug before turning to her daughter.

"Thanks for everything Chloe" she said.

"You are welcome here anytime honey. Please know that" she replied.

Jax walked up and pulled Mia into his arms for a hug.

"He may be my son, but you are my daughter too" he reassured her that he would always be there for her.

She smiled up at Jax and wiped her tears, "thanks Jax, I really appreciate that" she wiped her eyes before turning to the back.

"Ready babe?" she asked when she saw Abel coming out of the back.

Abel nodded and walked out with them to the car.

He noticed Mia crying. He just didn't want to ask her in front of Grace.

Abel got Grace buckled in her seat, "mama, can daddy pick me up from school tomorrow?" she asked.

Mia put the leftovers in the backseat before standing with Abel outside the car.

"That's fine, but don't you have a run tomorrow?" she asked.

He nodded, "we have a protection run for Danny" he replied, "but we should be back before Gracie gets out of school. Tommy's going to map out our route" he added when he saw her defeated look.

She smiled and nodded at him, "well, tomorrow I am making pasta and fresh sauce, so if you want, you can plan to stay for dinner" she informed him.

"Sounds great Dollface" he replied.

That sounded wonderful to him. They haven't been together as a family in a while.

A true Italian home cooked meal with his wife and daughter, his family, sounded perfect to him.

Abel opened the back and leant in to kiss the top of Gracie's head and cheek before pulling away.

"I love you, Angel. Have a good day at school tomorrow. I'll see you later after school okay" he gave Grace a hug.

She nodded, "okay daddy. I love you too" she said.

Abel shut the door and turned to Mia.

"I'll see you tomorrow. If you need me, call me" he replied.

She nodded and turned to the guys watching them.

"If you need more room, just send some of the guys my way" she said as she got in the car.

Abel gave her a knowing look, "yeah, that's not happening" he added.

Mia laughed and shook her head, waving as she drove off the lot.

Once she was out of sight, he turned back to the club.

He signaled to Tommy to get everyone into church.

Everyone gathered in church and took their designated spots.

"So, first off, I want to thank everyone for coming. We have some serious issues to discuss. It seems like a club from our parent's past is coming back, trying to take over Charming and push H into our town" he informed them all.

Tommy took his turn and pulled up his book of tricks.

He graduated with a master's degree in accounting, so he kept all the books for all the businesses associated with the club.

He pulled up his laptop and matched what was in his book so everyone could see it.

Tommy was amazing with numbers.

"I've been keeping in contact with all the dealers we know, and their business is being affected too. This is someone outside of town" he stated.

"What about Ricky Alvarez? Mia and he were close while she was in Oregon" Creed added his input.

"He wouldn't hurt Mia by going after her family. He cares about her too much" Tommy added.

He didn't want his brother to blow up.

"We could still ask him to help keep an eye out" Jordan spoke up.

"It wouldn't hurt to have the Mayans in on this but we're behind whatever you want to do Abel" Noah added.

"You have our support too" Jax added supporting his son.

He hated that this was coming back to hurt his son and his family.

It was supposed to be taken care of.

"Thank you everyone. We have some empty rooms in the back for everyone, just help yourselves" he dismissed them all.

Abel walked out with Tommy and his dad.

He couldn't help but glare at Creed.

He had just had to put his two-sense in. "He has a point you know" Tommy said.

Abel glared at his brother.

"You aren't helping" he argued.

Tommy laughed and slapped his brother's back before going to meet his wife at the bar.

Abel sucked up his pride and walked over to Creed.

"What's up Prez?" he was being a smartass on purpose.

He wasn't about to give Abel a pass.

"Tomorrow when we get back from the run, we'll go see Ricky" he said.

Creed smirked from his bike, "sounds good" he replied starting up the bike, Jordan and Noah next to him.

"We have rooms open in the clubhouse whenever you want to crash" Abel stated.

The Nomads looked at each other with knowing looks. They turned to Creed for his lead.

Abel watched Creed nod to Jordan.

"Thanks for the offer, but we are going to stay with Mia. It's kind of our thing" Jordan stated before they each drove off the lot.

Abel growled at Jordan's words, forgetting where he was or what was going on, and ran to his bike.

Tommy, who was watching, ran over to try and catch his brother, but Abel pulled out of the lot so fast, he kicked up gravel.

"Oh Shit!" Tommy muttered after seeing his brother drive off.

"What is it babe?" Leah asked completely oblivious.

Tommy looked down at his wife with a sigh.

"You better call Mia and tell her that she's got a temperamental biker headed her way" he replied.

Leah cursed under her breath as she pulled out her phone and shot Mia a text.

None the wiser, Mia was giving her daughter a bath when she heard pounding on the door.

She didn't hear her phone or even have it by her. She left it charging on the nightstand.

Startled, she wrapped a towel around Grace and carried her to the hall.

She knelt in front of her, "okay babe, we are going to play a little game. I want you to hide in the closet and don't come out until me or one of the guys come and get you" she said.

Gracie nodded and ran into her room to hide in the closet.

Mia grabbed the bat from the hall closet and walked to the front door.

She looked through the peephole and saw it was Abel and he looked crazed.

Dropping the bat, she swung the door open, standing there as they stared at each other in shock.

Abel trailed his eyes up her long legs up to the shortest shorts he had ever seen, to her crow tattoo on her hip, up the tight tank-top to meet her gaze.

When he met her eyes, he took in her confused gaze.

"What are you doing here Abel? Everything okay?" she asked trying to look him over for any injuries.

"Grace, come out now, it's okay" Mia called out.

Gracie ran out in her pajamas, "DADDY!" she launched into his arms.

Abel smiled and picked her up, pressing her into his chest.

Mia just noticed that Abel kept looking around, as if he was hoping to find something.

"Abel" Mia cupped his face to get him to focus.

He met her concerned gaze.

"Are you okay? What's going on?" she asked again, searching his eyes for answers.

"I'll finish getting Gracie ready for bed, then we'll talk" he said as he carried his baby girl through the house, upstairs to her room.

Mia started getting her things out for the sauce when she noticed that it was taking so long to put Gracie to bed.

She walked upstairs to find Abel lying in bed with Gracie reading her a story.

She leant against the doorway listening to Abel read to their daughter.

There was something wrong with him today and she was worried.

When he was done, Abel leant over the bed and kissed Gracie's forehead.

"I love you Princess. Have a good night. Daddy will see you tomorrow" he pressed one more kiss to her head before pulling up her blanket and turned to find Mia at the door.

He stood up and froze as he watched Mia walk over and lean down to say goodnight to her daughter.

"Night baby" she kissed her forehead and gave her a hug.

As Mia leant over, Abel's eyes zeroed in on her ass, as her shorts rose up and grazed her cheeks.

When they were done, he silently followed Mia out of the bedroom and to the kitchen downstairs.

He sat at the kitchen table running his hands over his face.

Mia crossed her arms across her chest as she rested against the counter waiting for him to explain.

He met her gaze and knew he was an idiot.

Creed was playing with him, and he won.

They would have been at Mia's by now if they were going to stay there.

"I'm sorry for scaring you tonight. Thank you for coming and staying for family dinner. Gracie had fun" he blurted out.

Mia scrunched her eyebrows in concern.

Abel wasn't making any sense and that wasn't like him.

For as long as she'd known him, he was always in control, scary smart and observant.

Something was off tonight.

She walked over and cupped his face, feeling his forehead.

He seemed okay at the party, but how he was scaring her.

"Abel what's going on? Are you sick? You aren't making any sense? Is everything okay?" she asked.

He grabbed her hands, pulled them from his face and kissed her knuckles.

He pressed his head against her stomach and ran his fingers over the crow on her hip.

"It will be babe, it will be" he repeated once before kneeling down and kissing her crow.

He rested his head against her lower stomach.

Mia tensed when Abel kissed her hip.

It was the first time he has been physical with her since she came back to town.

"I'll see you tomorrow babe" he cradled her waist and kissed her hip one more time before he stood up.

Abel kissed her forehead before turning to leave.

Mia was too worried and scared to let him leave. They might be in limbo with their relationship, but she didn't want anything to happen to him.

"Stay" she blurted out as he got to the door.

Freezing in place, he closed his eyes for a second of hope before turning to Mia, finding her look as surprised as he was.

She probably didn't even realize what she was saying.

"What?" he stupidly replied.

Mia blushed, embarrassed by her outburst.

She didn't know what she was doing or what she was saying. She was just worried about him and didn't want him to leave or get hurt.

"Abel something is seriously wrong with you. I think it would be better if you just stay here tonight, I mean if you want to" she replied.

He swallowed hard before nodding.

He wasn't going to tell her that he was there because Creed baited him. It was messing with him.

Imagining Creed at Mia's house all night and their relationship were getting to Abel.

Mia smiled and sagged in relief; glad he was going to be safe for the night.

"Great, I'll uh, just leave you to it. The guestroom is all set up. Goodnight" she said before going to bed.

Abel took a seat on the couch and let out a shaky breath.

This is what he wanted but he needed to take things slow. One thing for sure is that he was not going to be sleeping in the guestroom.

He needed to be with his wife in their bedroom.

Mia was finally going to let him in, and he didn't want to press his luck.

With one more breath to calm his nerves, he got up and made his way to their bedroom after checking and locking up the house.

Mia tried to control her breathing as she heard Abel walk in the bedroom.

Toeing off his shoes, he kicked off his jeans, put his kutte on the back of the chair at her dresser.

He stripped off his shirt and paused for a second at the side of the bed.

Standing at the side of the bed in his boxers and took a breath.

Mia felt him pull back the covers and the bed dip as he got settled in.

She waited to see what he would do, stiff as a board, but he wouldn't move.

He laid stiff, staring at the ceiling.

Making a fast decision, she scooted over and curled into him, along the side of his body, her back to his front.

It took him a minute before she felt his body sag and he settle into her, carefully wrapping his arm around her waist, burying his face in the crook of her neck.

He inhaled and settled when he smelled vanilla and all-spice.

Mia smiled when she felt him sag into the bed and against his body.

Being settled against each other felt right for both of them.

It made her forget the bad and remember the good.

She had a long call shift over the weekend and an emotional night at the clubhouse.

Being with Abel felt right and comfortable.

It didn't take her long to fall asleep in her husband's arms.

The next morning, Abel woke up to find Gracie curled into the middle of the bed, between him and Mia.

Smiling, he turned and wrapped his arm around his girls.

Gracie burrowed more into her dad.

It was new that he was home with her mom in the morning. He smiled and kissed her forehead.

"Morning Princess" he greeted, leaning down to kiss the top of her head.

Abel pressed her deeper into his chest, nuzzling her neck.

"Morning Daddy. Are you staying with us today?" she asked.

He rubbed her back, "not today honey. I have a run today with your uncles. You have school, so why don't you get up and get ready" he stated.

She groaned and hid against his chest, "I don't want to get up daddy. It's still early" she replied.

Her voice was laced with sleep.

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her tighter into him.

She was definitely not a morning person, she got that from him.

"Come on Princess, by the time we get breakfast going, your mom will be up" he said as he quietly got up and carried her downstairs.

He put her at the table and poured her some orange juice before getting the coffee started.

Gracie got her backpack ready while Abel made some eggs and bacon.

"Daddy, is mommy still sleeping because she's sick? She never sleeps late" she noticed.

Abel laughed and shook his head.

"No babe, she's probably just tired from work. Here" he handed her a plate of eggs and bacon, "eat your breakfast and I'll wake up your mom. Then I'll take you to school" he kissed the top of her head on his way upstairs.

When he got to the doorway, he froze.

Mia turned and tangled in the bed, her shirt had risen up, showing off her curves.

Abel glanced over her form, taking in how her tank top had risen in her sleep.

He let out a calming breath and walked over, sitting at the edge of the bed.

Leant over the top of her body and kissed her forehead.

Mia sighed and shifted, stretching as she cracked her eyes open.

She was surprised to see Abel still there.

It took her a minute to remember everything from the day before and process what happened.

"Morning" he greeted.

Mia sat up and tried to wipe the sleep from her eyes.

"Morning, what time is it?" she asked.

He peered at the clock on the nightstand.

"It's still early, only 7am. Grace is eating and apparently worried about your health" he explained with a smirk.

Mia looked at him confused.

"What?" she asked.

He laughed. "She was worried because you slept in" he replied.

Mia smiled and giggled before she processed what he said.

"You made breakfast and took care of Grace?" she was really grateful.

Mornings were usually hectic. She appreciated him playing Mr. Mom.

"Yeah, it was no big deal. If you ever need me, you know I'm only a phone call away" he replied.

She smiled and nodded. That was nice of him. She was glad they were getting back to a good place.

"Good, now, let's go get breakfast" he offered her hand and pulled her out of bed.

She didn't notice her lack of attire until she saw Abel's hungry, lust-filled gaze.

On the way out of the bedroom, she grabbed an old Samcro shirt of his and put it on over her pajamas.

They walked out to the kitchen to see Gracie sitting at the table with her food.

She smiled big when she saw her mom.

"Good morning, Mom" she gave her a hug.

Mia smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Morning Babe, are you done with your breakfast?" she asked.

Grace nodded and pointed to her plate to show her mom.

"Yup, I ate all my eggs and bacon. Daddy made it really good" she replied.

Mia smiled and nodded, "Good, I am glad you liked it. Go put your uniform on and brush your teeth. I'll be up to help you with your hair in a few minutes" she kissed her forehead again before sending her to her room.

Abel took a seat across from his wife at the table, sipping his coffee while she ate her breakfast.

She looked up at him over her plate of eggs, feeling him watching her.

"What?" she asked.

He just shook his head, "nothing, I am just happy to be here" he replied.

She smiled and blushed.

"I am happy you're here too" she stated as she finished her breakfast.

She put her plate in the sink to wash before getting Gracie's water bottle ready.

"I'll go get Gracie ready. Do you still have time to take her?" she asked.

He got up and put his cup in the sink, leaning against the counter next to her.

"Yeah, I will drop her off on the way to the clubhouse. I have time. Tommy still has to coordinate with Voldesta for the run" he replied.

She nodded and reached over to kiss his cheek, her hands still in the sink full of soap.

"Thanks for breakfast" she said before wiping her hands and making her way to the back to help her daughter.

Gracie was already dressed and brushing her teeth when her mom came in.

"Ready for me baby?" Mia asked.

Gracie nodded, "yup, can I have braids like Elsa?" she asked.

Mia smiled and nodded. "You bet" she replied.

As she moved around the bathroom to gather the stuff she needed for a French braid, Gracie grabbed her comb and detangler spray.

Mia put her daughter's hair into a French braid, kissing the top of her head when she was done.

"All done" she called.

Gracie smiled up at her mom, "thanks mama" she said before she ran out of the bathroom and jumped into the living room.

"I'm ready daddy" she called out, jumping into his arms.

Abel smiled at her excitement, kissing the top of her head.

"You look beautiful Princess" he replied.

Mia grabbed her lunch box and water bottle while Abel grabbed his kutte and Gracie's backpack on the way out.

Mia walked with them to the driveway, packing Gracie's lunch box in the saddle bags, watching as Abel strapped his daughter to the front seat of the bike and got on behind her.

"Bye Mama" she waved.

Mia leant over and kissed her cheek, "bye Princess. Have a good day" she stood there watching as they drove away.

Only once they were off, did Mia get down to business.

She was able to take a shower and get some chores done around the house.

While she was on call or at work, the house was upside down and a mess.

Mia liked to keep the house clean and organized, so she cleaned the house from top to bottom.

Once she was done cleaning, she started meal prepping for the week.

She had planned to make spaghetti and homemade sauce.

The first thing she did was get started on the sauce because that was going to take a while to cook.

On the other side of town, Abel pulled up to the school and stopped in front of the entrance.

He unbuckled Grace and lifted her off the bike.

He kissed the top of her head. "Have a good day babe, your mom will pick you up later okay" he kissed her again.

"Okay, bye daddy" she wrapped her arms around his neck for a hug before running off into the school.

He waited until she went into the school before taking off.

Tommy was waiting for his brother at the clubhouse.

Once he saw Abel pull into the lot, he waited for him to park the bike before walking over with a smirk.

"So, how was your night?" he teased his brother.

Abel glared and shoved Tommy's shoulder as he walked by.

"None of your business asshole" he mumbled.

Tommy just burst out laughing, shaking his head at his brother.

"Fine, don't tell me. I'll get all the details from Leah" he replied with a scoff.

Abel laughed and followed his brother into the clubhouse.

The guys were waiting for him.

Abel froze when he saw Creed and Jordan standing there with a smirk on their faces.

He was wearing the same clothes as the night before and it was obvious.

"I'm going to change, then we'll get started" he pumped Tommy on the chest.

On his way to the back towards this dorm, he stopped in front of Creed at the bar.

"You knew, didn't you? You knew I'd go to the house, didn't you?" he asked.

Jordan laughed. Creed was a scheming asshole last night. He knew exactly what he was doing.

"Of course we did. Look man, as much as we may have issues with what you did to her, we want her to be happy. You make her happy" he said.

Abel looked between the two of them shocked. He got completely played.

They really cared about her and would do anything for her.

He just nodded in the manly cliché way before continuing on his way to his dorm.

He took a shower and changed into his usual attire of jeans and a t-shirt under his kutte.

Once he was dressed, he joined everyone in the clubhouse.

After everyone was gathered, he called everyone into church.

"Alright, Creed and I are going to see Ricky. Tommy is with Freddie, Max, Springer, and Jose to set up Route A. Matt, Stone, Donnie, Jack, you go with Kenny to scope out Route B. Ryder and Alex go talk to Darby, see what he knows. We'll meet back here in an hour to go meet Danny. Everything goes as planned, I'll be able to pick up Gracie from school" Abel called out the assignments.

Based on history, the H trade was mostly towards Oakland, so they were scoping things out.

Creed and Abel made their way towards the Mayan's MC in Oakland.

He called Ricky ahead of time to let them know Samcro was coming.

Ricky was waiting with his VP Diego at a park close to their clubhouse.

They were both curious about the call from Abel. Getting a call from Abel Teller was intriguing.

"Reapers here" Diego called out when he saw Creed and Abel.

They pulled up and parked next to the Mayans.

Ricky watched as they walked up and sat across from them.

Rickey could tell Abel was as uncomfortable as he was.

"Welcome to Oakland boys. How can we help you?" Ricky greeted, settled against a picnic table with some lemonade.

"We are here to talk about Mia" Creed said smirking as Ricky and Diego's eyes snapped up.

That caught their attention. They said the magic word, Mia.

They both knew and cared for Mia.

"What's wrong with Mia?" Diego asked.

Abel sighed and rubbed a hand over his face.

"Look, someone is trying to expand the H trade into Charming just like they did in our parent's time. I think it's a new club. They are targeting our families" he explained.

Ricky processed everything and nodded, looking at Diego in understanding.

They were on the same page.

"You're worried about Mia and Grace? Look, we care about her and that muñequita (little doll). She helped us a lot through the years. We'll keep an eye out. Anything else you need, give us a call. Tell Mia we got her back" Ricky said.

Abel nodded in gratitude. They shook hands and went their separate ways.

With Ricky and the Mayans on the lookout, they just had to Darby to talk to.

Abel was smart and going about this problem logically.

A step at a time. One club at a time.

By the time they got back to the clubhouse, Tommy was pacing the outside smoking.

Abel could tell Darby was a no go. He followed his brother into Church.

"Please tell me that we have something" Abel begged.

Tommy sighed and shook his head.

"Darby salivated at the mention of Mia. He wouldn't hurt her" he said.

Abel punched the table hard.

"Dammit! We are fucking back to square one. Any luck with the route to Voldesta?" he asked.

Tommy smirked and pulled out the map of the route.

"We have two possible locations for the drug houses. Tony, from the Mayans is going to check things out on their side" he started pointing out the areas.

"We'll compare notes, but I say we check out the warehouses. They are secluded and vacant. Especially along the highway" he stated.

"Good, you and I will go check it out" he said.

He went out and called everyone before they left. "Tommy and I are going to check out the possible stash houses on the way to Voldesta. The rest of you go on the protection run for Danny" he changed things up.

Back at the house, Mia was in the middle of the sauce when Leah walked in with a knock.

"Mims?" she called out.

Mia smiled knowing it was only a matter of time before her sister showed up.

"Kitchen" she replied turning with a smile as Leah came in and took a seat on the counter, helping herself to some Italian bread.

"What's up?" Mia asked.

Leah shook her head and shrugged.

"I've cleaned the house 2x and made some antipasti salad for tonight. What's going on with you? How's Abel doing with Creed and Jordan here?" she asked.

Now it was Mia's turn to sigh and shrug.

After last night, she had no idea where they were. Their relationship was in limbo.

"After we left the clubhouse yesterday, Abel showed up here all frantic. He panicked about something. He ended up helping me put Gracie to bed and staid the night" Mia vented.

Leah was watching her sister.

She was trying to gauge her motions, but she could tell Mia was confused.

"Girl, I tried to warn you, but you didn't answer my text" she stated.

"I was too busy dealing with a panicked biker" Mia defended herself.

The situation with Abel was complicated.

Mia had a tough situation on her hands.

"Wait, he staid with you?" Leah probed further.

Mia blushed bright red, looking at her sister over the pot.

She knew that look.

Leah could read between the lines.

"OMG! So, did anything happen?" she got all excited.

Mia scoffed and threw a towel at her.

"You know me better than that" she replied.

"Hmm, so what does that mean? Are you going to give him a shot?" Leah asked seriously.

Mia shrugged as she turned to set the table.

"I don't know. God Leah, it felt so nice to fall asleep in his arms. He made breakfast this morning, helped with Gracie. It felt so right and natural" she tried to explain.

Leah looked on concerned as she listened to her sister and how she was feeling.

Her heart went out to her cursing Abel at the same time under her breath.

Mia used to be so confident, but he hurt her badly.

Leah jumped off the counter and walked over to Mia, stopping her from fiddling with the plates and silverware.

Turning to her, she saw the silent tears running down her cheeks.

"Mia, you deserve to feel that all the time. Give him a chance and be happy" Leah wiped her tears.

Both of them laughing and wiping their cheeks as the phone rang.

"Teller Residence" she answered.

"Hello, may I speak to Dr. Teller please" the person stated.

"Speaking. This is Mia Teller" she greeted.

"Hi Dr. Teller, this is Riley Hawkins, the principal at your daughter's school. She was in an altercation with another student" the principal informed.

"She what?" Mia sighed, "I'll be right there" she hung up and grabbed her bag.

"What happened?" Leah asked.

"My daughter got into a fight at school. I'll be back" she said before grabbing her phone to call Abel.

"I'll watch the sauce. Have fun with that" Leah laughed as Mia ran out of the house.

Abel was going over some paperwork when his cell rang.

Seeing that it was Mia, he panicked, immediately thinking the worst.

"Mia, what's wrong?" he asked already on alert.

"Hey, sorry to bother you, I know you have a run, but I need you to meet me at St. Mary's. Your daughter got into a fight" she explained as she made her way to the school.

"She what? What happened?" he got up and made his way out of the office.

"I don't know all the details; the principal just called me and told me. I'm on my way there" she said.

Abel nodded and made his way out of the clubhouse.

"We just got back. I'll meet you there" he replied.

Jax and Tommy were smoking when they saw Abel rush out.

"Hey, what' s going on?" Tommy asked.

"Grace got into a fight at school" he replied as he rushed to his bike.

"I'll go with you" Tommy joined his brother.

The clubhouse was closer to the school, so the boys beat Mia there.

You would think it was a raid the way they rushed into the school.

They walked in and down the hall to see Gracie sitting on a bench outside the office with an ice pack on her cheek.

Abel boiled seeing his daughter hurt.

They walked over and knelt in front of her.

"Gracie what happened Princess?" Abel asked moving the ice pack to inspect the damage.

He saw the bruise forming on her cheek and saw red.

"I'm sorry daddy. Damon was being mean to me, and Valerie and he pushed me first" Gracie explained.

Before anyone could say anything, they heard yelling and saw a big, burly man coming down the hallway with a little boy beside him.

"YOU" he yelled at Grace, "YOU HURT MY SON" he accused.

Abel and Tommy stood up, but Gracie beat them to it.

"He pushed me first" Gracie yelled at him.

Abel and Tommy stood in front of Gracie.

"You want to talk to my daughter like that, we can settle this outside" Abel stated.

The principal stepped out and between the men.

She could feel the tension.

"Please follow me gentlemen" she led them into the office.

"Gracie, wait here while I talk to your principal" Abel said to his daughter.

"Keep ice on your cheek honey" Tommy said as he followed his brother into the office.

"Thank you all for coming. It seems that the children had an altercation on the playground" he principal got out before Mia came storming in.

"Why is my daughter holding an ice pack to her cheek?" she argued.

"That little bitch hit my son" the hillbilly yelled at her.

"He pushed her first and was taunting her and Valerie. I am not leaving here until the punishment is fair" Abel argued.

Mia put her hand up to silence him.

"You call my daughter a bitch one more time, God won't be able to save you from me" she seethed to him.

It took them an hour to reach the conclusion that everyone was okay with it.

"Come on babe, we are going home" Mia held her hand out for her daughter.

"I'll follow you" Abel said as they all walked out, Tommy walking along with them.

"I'll head back to the clubhouse and fill in the parents" he stated patted Abel's back.

Jax and Chloe saw their boys peel out of the lot. They knew something had happened to their grandbaby and were worried.

"Okay, wait here with your dad while I get the car. We'll meet Uncle Tommy at the clubhouse" Mia said to Gracie before running off through the parking lot.

Once they were alone, Gracie opened up.

"Daddy am I in trouble?" she asked looking up with innocent eyes.

Abel looked down at his daughter.

Grace was quiet while Mia and the principal went at it with each other. When they were done, she gave her mom a hug and went along without saying anything.

Abel picked up his daughter and cradled her in his arms.

"When we get home, we'll talk with mommy" he said to her.

Gracie frowned at his answer.

That really wasn't the answer she was looking for.

"Are you and mommy made at me?" she tried again.

Abel kissed her cheek, "we're not mad" he replied.

He would say they were more upset and concerned. That wasn't like her.

Once Mia pulled up, Gracie didn't say anything but slowly and quietly got inside Mia's jeep.

Abel rounded the front of the car. "I'll be right behind you" he said before getting on his bike and followed her out.

Abel followed Mia out of the parking lot and to the house.

When they got home, Abel and Mia had Gracie at the kitchen table.

"Baby, you need to tell us what happened" Mia said to her daughter as she stood behind Abel, who was sitting in the chair opposite Gracie.

Grace's eyes flickered between her parents before they settled down to her seat.

She tried ignoring Damon while she played with Valerie, but since the beginning of the year, he's been saying mean things about them.

She finally had enough and snapped.

She couldn't take it anymore.

Mia could tell Grace was scared to tell them what happened. "You won't get in trouble, but you need to tell us what happened baby" she pressed.

Gracie looked up at her parents. "What's a porn star?" she asked slowly trying to remember the word right.

Mia's eyes widened and she even saw Abel tense, but he didn't spare a glance her way.

"Where did you hear that word?" Abel asked as Mia felt like she lost the ability to speak.

"You can tell us Princess" he pushed her.

Gracie shifted on her chair.

"Damon said daddy messed around with a porn star and that's why you're not here with me and mommy. He said that you and Uncle Paul were bad men, and we were pussy's" she blurted out to her parents, her eyes glancing between her mom and dad.

She stared up at her mom with tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry mommy, I didn't mean to make you cry" she cried as Mia walked out of the kitchen.

Abel moved from his seat as he swallowed the lump in his throat.

This was all his fault.

"Gracie, you can't hit people…" he started.

"but" she tried to defend herself.

Grace was pulled into her dad's lap to face him. "Look babe, I know what the kid said made you angry, but sometimes it's better to walk away. You get me?" he tried not to feel like a hypocrite as he told her to walk away.

She nodded her head and looked up at him with glassy eyes.

"Is mommy, okay?" she asked.

"Why don't you go to your room and start your homework" he put her down and sent her off to her room.

Abel stood up and rubbed his hand over his face.

He took a minute to try and compose himself. He took off his kutte and placed it on the back of the dining room chair before he made his trek down the hallway.

He made his way to the master bedroom and saw Mia standing in the middle of the room.

He could tell she was crying as her body was hiccupping.

She was fighting hard to control the sobs. He hated seeing Mia cry.

It stabbed him in the heart.

Abel entered the room slowly and he reached out to pull her into his arms, but she shrugged him off.

"Mia" he said softly as he reached for her again to which she didn't fight.

She couldn't fight anymore.

She sagged into his chest as her dam broke and felt her tears through his shirt.

His hand weaved into her hair as he cradled her head while his lips ghosted over the silk strands.

"I'm sorry" he told her, his voice hoarse and brittle.

He really meant he was sorry for everything.

It was all his fault. He never wanted this to touch his family.

"I'm so sorry Mia" he rubbed her back as she wrapped her arms tight around his waist.

Abel just stood there and held his wife as she calmed down.

He moved her to the bed and kept her in his arms.

Mia fell asleep in Abel's arms for a while. She wore herself out from crying so much.

It was a couple hours later when she woke up in Abel's arms with their daughter between them.

She kissed her daughter's head before she untangled herself from Abel's arms and got up to finish dinner.

Leaving them to sleep a little more, she went to finish the homemade pasta sauce.

A couple of hours later, she served up dinner and went to wake up Abel and Grace.

Mia shook Abel's shoulder a couple of times.

He turned and looked up at her through bleary eyes.

"Hey, everything okay?" he asked.

She gave him a sad smile. "Dinner is ready. Why don't you two wake up" she said reaching down to cuddle her daughter.

Gracie wrapped her arms around her mom as Mia walked her downstairs and to the kitchen.

"Are you okay mama?" Gracie asked.

Mia smiled and kissed her daughter's forehead.

"Don't worry baby. Let's sit and have dinner" she deposited her on the chair at the table.

Abel came out and sat next to his daughter.

Mia served some pasta with sauce, breadsticks and salad.

They all sat down and ate as a family. It was awkward at first, but Mia tried to put on a face for her daughter.

"Thanks mama, that was really good" Grace said.

"It really was great sauce babe" Abel added.

Mia smiled and cleared the table. She stood facing the sink, taking a minute to gather herself.

Gracie left the table and went back to the living room to watch some TV.

Abel put the dishes on the counter and stood next to her at the sink.

"I'm going to have a smoke. I'll be outside" he said stepping on the back patio.

He took a seat and pulled out his smoke and phone.

He called the only person who could help him.

"Teller" Tommy answered from his computer.

He didn't even look at his phone.

"Hey Tommy, it's me. I need to talk to you. I need your advice" Abel said taking a puff of his cigarette.

He settled back on the patio chair.

Tommy focused on the call concerned. "What happened? Is everything okay?" he asked, worried about his brother's family.

"No, the girls are okay, but I need to vent. That little punk told Gracie that I messed with a porn star and that's why I am not at home. Mia broke down and it all came out again" he informed his brother.

He needed his help and his advice. He didn't know how to handle this.

"Damn, that's rough. Dude, I told you that was going to be hard to get over. You need to make sure she can trust you. Show her that they came first" he said.

Abel sighed, "how the hell am I going to do that? I have been trying to get her to believe that she came first but this whole incident threw everything off" he complained.

Tommy sighed and nodded in understanding.

"I get it man, but you need to fix it before Creed and Jordan find out. I mean we are supposed to have breakfast at mom and dad's tomorrow" he said.

Abel groaned and closed his eyes as he tilted his head back.

"I didn't even think about that" he replied.

He was more worried about his family. He didn't think about what Creed or Jordan would say or how they were going to react.

He was really kicking himself for his actions.

"Damn, okay, I better get back inside and deal with this" he said.

"Okay, I'll see you all tomorrow" Tommy hung up and let out a worried breath.

He was worried about his brother and Mia. This was going to be tough to get over.

Abel hung up and put out his cigarette before he made his way back inside.

Mia was sitting with Grace drinking hot chocolate, watching Frozen.

He smiled and sat down next to them.

He looked down to see Grace asleep on her mom's lap.

"Are you okay?" he asked her.

She nodded and reached to put her up on the table.

"We'll get over this Abel, I just need time to work through this again" she said.

Logically, she knew he was sorry, and they were moving forward, this was just a setback.

He nodded, "I know babe, I just want to make sure we were still okay to move forward" he said.

She got up, picked up her daughter and took her to her room.

Mia got her settled in bed and kissed the top of her head.

Abel was waiting for her in the hallway. She met him outside this room.

She grabbed his hand and led him to the master bedroom.

"I need your support tonight. We are going to be okay" she said as they got into bed and settled in for the night.

Abel kept his arms wrapped around her.

He needed to be there for her.

The next morning, the Teller family made their way to Chloe and Jax's for breakfast.

Surprisingly, his mom didn't ask him what happened as soon as they walked in.

He knew she wanted to; he could see it in her face.

Instead, the girls made breakfast and served a decent amount of food for them.

All the guys at the table were watching Abel and Mia.

They knew that Abel peeled out of the lot yesterday, they just didn't know why.

Creed and Jordan were the most curious. They waited until Grace was out of the room though first.

Once Gracie was done with her breakfast, she turned to her mom, "mama, can I go play?" she asked.

Mia nodded, "yeah, go ahead babe" she replied.

Gracie jumped off the table before she made her way outside to play in the garden.

"So, what's the deal with Gracie? What happened yesterday?" Creed asked.

"You spend the night with Mia and Grace?" Jordan added just to be an asshole.

Everyone stopped and looked up at them.

They did spend the night together for the first time in a while. Mia clung to him all night. He could tell she needed his support and he wanted to be there for her.

"My daughter decided it was a good idea to get into a fight with Damon Wise because he told her that her dad fooled around with a porn star and that was why he wasn't living at home" Mia informed them.

"I needed some support after last night" she added.

They all, except Tommy, looked at him pissed and surprised.

"That fucking piece of shit Nathan Wise shouldn't be talking" Creed argued.

"You need to contain that shit son" Jax added.

"Who does that little punk think he is?" Jordan scoffed.

Leah walked over and wrapped her arm around Mia, who was standing at the counter pouring herself some tea.

"Are you okay Mims?" she asked.

Mia shrugged, "I will be" she replied.

Chloe and Leah nodded in understanding. They both knew that Mia would need some time to process everything and think about what she was going to do.

This was going to be hard for her to get over.

"Well, we have your back sweetheart. Whatever you need" Jax said.

Abel knew that his parents and brothers loved Mia, hell, everyone loved Mia.

He nodded through a sigh as he got up and wrapped his arm around his daughter's mother.

He was going to be there for her no matter what.

"We'll get through this Mia" he kissed her temple and wrapped her in a side hug.

Before the guys left, Creed and Jordan pulled Mia to the side while Abel put Gracie in the car.

He stood by the car watching Mia stand there with Creed and Jordan.

"What's going on Mia? What did he do?" Creed asked.

Mia sighed, "it was just the whole porn star incident popping up again. It just brought everything up again. And now Grace has to deal with it and is talking about porn stars in school. I'll get over it, I just…it brought all the emotions back" she vented.

Creed glared at Abel. "I am really going to kick his ass" he seethed.

Jordan patted Creed's back, trying to calm him down.

"Okay relax" he said to Creed before turning to Mia, "you are going to be okay. You are strong and independent. This is just a little blip in your radar. It will pass" he tried to reassure Mia.

She wiped her tears and nodded, "I hope so" she replied reaching out and hugging each of them.

Holding onto Creed a little longer, taking solace in his comfort. He bent and kissed the top of her head.

"We are always going to be here for you, you know that. If you need a break, we are just a phone call away. You know Nevada is always going to be a home for you" he said.

She smiled and nodded, kissing his cheek, "thanks Creed" she gave him another kiss on the cheek before turning towards the car.

When Mia walked over to the car, Abel was waiting for her on the hood.

"Everything okay?" he asked.

She nodded, "mmhmm" she replied dropping her bags in the back seat before opening the passenger seat, stopping when Abel grabbed the door from her.

"What did you and Creed talk about?" he asked.

It was killing him.

Mia scoffed out a laugh, "he just wanted to make sure I knew he was there for me and that I was okay" she explained, pulling herself into the passenger seat.

"Of course, he fucking did" Abel closed the door when she was in the car and went around to the driver side.

He was pissed that once again he was giving Creed an opening to his woman.

The guys got on with their day and their tasks for the run they planned, while Abel and family had a relaxing day with Tommy.

Thankfully, they were having a slow day at the club and Abel was able to lean on his brother for support.

Tommy had been there for him through everything.

That's why Abel had retreated and was currently leaning against Tommy's counter in his garage, drinking a beer, while his brother worked on the spark plugs to his bike.

He pulled back, grease staining his face as he thought about what to say.

"Kids are smarter than we give them credit for, especially Gracie" he said as he wiped his hands.

Abel handed him an open beer, "ain't that the truth" he teased.

His daughter was one of a kind. Having a doctor as a mom, his daughter was more advanced in some areas.

Tommy leant against his work bench and took a long sip of his beer.

Wiping his hands on a rag, looking at his brother with concern.

"How's Mia with all of this?" he asked.

Abel placed his beer on the counter, rubbed his face with his hands and took a deep breath.

"Last night she was hurt, ya know. She just sobbed for hours. She shut down. This morning, she acted like everything was fine, quite like she always does" he explained.

"Yeah, I get that. But that's because she's probably in defense mode. She's most likely trying to process everything. What happened was fucked up and it was a lot" Tommy stated.

He was always the more logical of the brothers. He tried to see all sides of the argument.

While the boys were having this conversation in the garage, the girls were having a similar conversation in the kitchen.

With Gracie at Chloe and Jax's house, they were both able to talk freely and be more comfortable getting everything out.

Leah poured them some tea and sat at the bar with Mia.

"So, what's going on? How are you doing?" she asked.

Mia sighed, "that little punk told Grace that Abel wasn't home because he slept with a porn star" she informed her sister-in-law.

Leah wrapped her arm around Mia's shoulders.

"It will get better sweetheart. Everyone goes through this. You will get past this" she reached over and wiped her tears.

Mia leant against the counter and held her head in her hands.

"I am just so sick of this shit. No one else has to deal with this shit" she cried.

"How about we have a girl's day tomorrow?" Leah suggested wrapping an arm around her friend's shoulder.

"I need to hit something or a big juicy surgery" Mia stated.

Leah laughed, "that can be arranged" she added.

Before anyone could say anything else, the boys came back in.

"Hey babe, everything okay?" Tommy asked Leah as he wrapped an arm around his wife.

Leah smiled and nodded.

"Yeah babe, we are good. We are going to have a girl's day tomorrow while Grace is in school and then have a girl's night" she explained.

He nodded and kissed her cheek. "Sounds good babe. Have fun" he replied.

Tommy didn't care what Leah did with her friends. He spent so much time at the clubhouse with the guys that he wanted her to go out and have a good time.

Mia just smiled as she watched the two of them interact. You could tell they really loved each other.

Jax and Gracie walked in as the kids turned to them.

"Hey Pop, what's going on?" Abel asked.

"She's pretty tired. I didn't know if you wanted to take her home" Jax stated.

Mia nodded and went to take Gracie from Jax.

She nuzzled into her mom's neck. "I'm tired mommy" she mumbled sleepily.

"Okay baby, go say goodbye to your grandpa, aunt, and uncle" she let her down.

Jax, Leah, and Tommy each took their turns hugging Gracie and giving their goodbyes.

Abel grabbed the bags from Jax and walked them out while Mia grabbed Gracie and got her settled in the car.

Abel caught Mia's wrist when she turned to get in the car.

Turning her to face him, he backed her into the car, cupping her face.

"Are we okay?" he asked.

She sagged a little. "This is hard Abel, but it will get better" she reassured him.

He nodded with hopeful eyes. He prayed that things got better.

"I'll call you tomorrow" he said.

She nodded, "I am going to leave Gracie with your dad because we are having a girls day/night" she informed him.

Abel looked at her curiously. He was intrigued.

"What does that entail?" she smiled and shrugged looking up at him innocently.

"It was Leah's idea, and your mom is coming too, so who knows what we'll be doing" she stated.

She didn't want to go into detail about what they were going to do. She just needed a break.

He grinned and shook his head. Knowing his mom and Leah, it was going to be a wild night.

"Well, have fun. I'll see you after" he opened the door for her and waited until she got in before closing the door.

Standing there to watch her drive off the lot and head home.

Mia and Gracie just had a quiet day at home, hanging out by the pool, and watching movies.

She just didn't want to do anything. She wanted to relax.

The next day, however, was different.

Mia made some eggs, sausage, and fruit for breakfast.

After breakfast, Mia got Gracie to change for school, and grabbed her bag before jumping into the car.

She stopped in front of the school, "have a good day munchkin. Your Grandpa Jax is going to pick you up after school" she informed her daughter.

"Okay mama. I'll see you later" she waved as she ran into the school with her friends.

After Mia got Gracie to school, she made her way to the clubhouse.

Jax met her outside first when she pulled in.

When she parked and got out of the car, he gave her a side hug.

"Hi honey, how are you feeling?" he asked.

She smiled up at him, "I'm okay, getting through it. Looking forward to this" she replied.

He laughed, "good. Just remember, he may be my son, but you are also my daughter. If you need me to kick his ass, I can" he stated.

She smiled, laughing, "thanks Jax" she replied.

He led her in, "come on, the girls are inside" he said.

Chloe, Leah, and Abby were by the bar, each with a black hard case.

Mia walked over and gave each of the girls a hug.

"So, what are we doing today ladies?" she asked rubbing her hands.

Chloe wrapped an arm around her daughter-in-law, "we're going to have some fun" she said leading them out.

Neither girl would say anything. They all piled into Chloe's jeep, so she could drive them to Cara Cara, the club's porn studio.

Leah, Abby, and Mia looked at each other curiously before turning back to Chloe.

"Okay, what's going on?" Leah asked.

The Teller Matriarch smiled and got out. Without saying much, she got her supplies out of the back and laid them on the table.

"Today, we are going to relieve some stress" she said pulling out cases of guns and went to tape the posters up on the wall in the parking lot.

They needed a target.

Once the posters were up, Chloe walked back over to the tables and opened the cases.

She laid out the guns and ammo.

"Take out your frustrations girls" she said presenting the weapons.

Smiling at each other, each of the girls picked up a gun and let out their frustrations.

They each took their turns blasting the walls.

Mia had just finished blasting one of the posters when Tammy pulled up.

The girls turned around and saw her get up and out of the car.

Mia turned to Tammy and pointed the gun in her direction.

After all the bullshit Tammy caused Mia, she deserved it.

The porn star scrambled into the studio.

Mia smiled, "that was really fun" she said.

Chloe smiled as Leah shot the car.

"This is so much fun, that fucking slut deserves so much more" she smirked as they emptied clips into Tammy's car.

Once they were done, Leah wrapped her arm around Mia.

"How's that feel?" she asked.

Mia smiled as she looked back at the girls.

"That actually felt really good" she admitted.

Chloe stepped in and cleaned up the guns and ammo before loading them up.

"You guys ready to go?" Chloe asked.

They all nodded, "yeah, that felt amazing" Mia replied.

Chloe took them to their next destination.

They ended up at the bar/restaurant owned by the club. Serena and Brandi were waiting for them.

The drinks and food were already waiting for everyone.

Serena wrapped Mia in a hug. "Welcome to part 2 of girls day" she greeted.

Everyone knew what Mia had gone through and wanted to make it better for her.

At the Clubhouse….

Around 2pm, Jax got on his bike and made his way to the elementary school to pick up Gracie.

He pulled up to the front gate and stood by his bike, waiting for his little princess.

Jax couldn't help but smile when he saw Gracie run out with her backpack flopping behind her, too big for her little body.

"Grandpa Jax" she squealed as she launched into his arms.

He carried her and curled her into his chest.

"Hi kiddo, how was school?" he asked as he carried her to the bike.

"It was good. We went to the museum today" she explained.

He smiled as he listened to her go on about her day as he strapped her in.

"We are going to the clubhouse Princess. You start and your homework when we get there, and I'll order some pizza okay" he laid out the instructions.

She nodded and gave him a salute.

He just smirked and shook his head at her antics.

Abel and Tommy were riding out with Creed and Jordan to meet up with Lee and Big Al half-way on the way to Tacoma.

They got off the bikes when they got to the meeting point to greet each other.

"Thanks for meeting us. We think there is another club moving in and trying to spread it around the schools in Charming. What have you heard?" Tommy asked.

"We saw big moves with White around the charters. Someone is trying to make a power play" Lee informed them.

The Teller brothers looked at each other knowingly.

"Makes sense. We talked to Darby and he had the same thing to say but didn't know much more' Abel stated.

"Well, that fits if all the local clubs are good with each other. Whoever is moving up the White food chain would want to try and keep Darby out of the loop" Creed added.

"We should probably jump in Hale. He won't help the club, but he'll help Mia" Jordan piped up.

"He's had the hots for Mia since you two were in high school, there is now way he wasn't going to help her" Tommy teased.

Abel growled, "it's not funny" he was not looking forward to that.

He didn't want to work with Hale.

Tommy, Creed, and Jordan just shook their head. This was going to be amusing.

"We'll see" Tommy said.

The girls were trashed by the time the boys got back.

After the girls had lunch, they went to the bar side of the club.

They were having so much fun.

Rocker, one of the members was manning the bar shaking his head as he watched Leah, Mia, Serena, Brandi, and Abby dance with each other and have fun with each other.

"They are having fun" he teased Chloe.

The Teller matriarch smiled as she sipped her wine.

"They deserve it" she replied.

Leah, Mia, Serena, Brandi, and Abby were dancing to their hearts' content.

"You know what we should do, we should learn pole dancing" Abby said.

Brandi nodded in agreement. "We can do it" Leah said moving her hips in a figure eight.

Mia and the girls all started following her lead, pretending they were doing a strip tease and dance as if they were on a pole.

The guys walked in to hear music and looked at each other curiously.

"What the hell is that?" Creed asked.

Tommy smirked, rubbing his hands together, glancing at his brother, who was watching the door.

"Girl's night" he explained as they ventured towards the bar.

The boys promised to let the girls have their time together.

The girls finished dancing and made their way towards the bar and helped themselves to some finger food.

"We should play truth or dare" Serena blurted out.

Mia laughed and took a bite of her chicken. "What are we, five?" she teased.

"Come on, it will be fun" Brandi whined.

Being outnumbered, they all agreed to play truth or dare.

Leah started, "Abby, truth or dare?" she questioned.

"Truth" she replied.

Leah tapped her chin trying to think of a good question.

"Owoo, okay, I got one. What's the deal with you and Joey?" she asked.

Abby blushed bright red and shook her head.

She took a sip of her wine cooler to collect herself for a minute.

"We are just friends. He's only been helping me because of Reaper" Abby replied.

"Bullshit! Reaper told him to keep an eye on you. He would freak out if he knew Joey was glued to your hip. Reaper didn't tell him to camp out at your place" Mia teased.

Leah squealed and leaned in to learn more. This was an interesting development.

Abby narrowed her gaze at Mia who was sipping her margarita.

"We are just friends. I promise that nothing has happened" Abby replied.

Mia smiled and took a sip of her margarita. "Yeah, but you want it to happen" she teased.

Abby blushed bright red. There was no denying that.

"Hell, I would want it to happen have you seen the ass on that man?" Leah added.

The girls squealed and laughed. That was so like her.

"Mia your turn" Abby changed the subject off of her.

"Okay dare" she steeled herself.

She was taking a chance.

She took a sip of her drink for courage. She knew if she chose the truth, they would ask her about Abel, and she wasn't ready for that.

"I dare you to go kiss Abel in front of everyone for a minute" Abby teased.

Mia flushed and took another chug of her drink to steel herself.

She took a deep breath and made her way out, to the bar.

The girls were tripping over themselves to follow her.

They couldn't believe she was going to do it.

She stopped at the doorway and scanned the room until she found Abel.

Taking another breath, she walked right up to him, where he was sitting at the bar.

He stopped talking to the guys, put his drink down, and stood up.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

She shook her head and cupped his cheeks.

"This means nothing" she said before reaching up and pressing her lips to his.

Abel froze for a minute before he dug his fingers in her hair and lost control.

He angled her head to deepen the kiss. He nipped and licked at her lips so she could open hers.

She moaned as he racked his tongue over hers.

She thrust her fingers in his hair as he pulled her close.

Mia sucked at his tongue causing him to groan. His hands traveled down her back to her ass, squeezing, pressing her closer.

He wasn't stupid.

He was going to take advantage of her touching him.

BEEP! BEEP!

They all heard, causing Mia to pull away, smiling when Abel chased her lips.

Before she could run away to hide, he grabbed her hips and locked his arms around her waist.

He cupped her jaw and tilted her chin up to meet her gaze.

"What was that Dollface?" he asked, nudging her nose with his.

"My time is up" she said before running away to her group of girls.

Leah faced and boys and put her thumbs up smirking at their confusion.

Once the girls were out of sight, Abel turned to his brother confused.

"What the hell was that?" he asked.

Tommy just smirked at his brother's reaction.

"You really are stupid when it comes to women, Mia in particular" his younger brother teased.

Creed and Jordan just started laughing.

That was so true. How Abel didn't know what that was, was hilarious.

"That was a dare if I ever saw one" Creed teased.

Abel was slack jawed. He couldn't believe she did that.

No doubt it was Leah's idea.

"That little shit stirrer. It had to be Leah or Abby" Abel reasoned.

"My guess is Abby. They probably asked her about Reaper and Joey, so she retaliated" Tommy reasoned, trying to defend his wife.

The girls were having their own reaction.

"I can't believe I just did that" Mia pressed her fingers to her lips.

She could still taste him on her lips.

She didn't realize how much she missed kissing Abel.

He felt right.

The kiss felt like she was coming home.

"I honestly can't believe you went through with it" Leah stated.

Abby nodded, "yeah that kiss was beyond hot. Can you imagine if the time was longer? You would have erupted" she added.

Mia giggled while turning beat red from embarrassment.

She enjoyed that kiss way too much.

It made her forget all the pain and heartbreak.

"How do you feel? You okay?" Leah asked seriously worried about her sister.

Mia fell back into the bean bag in the theatre room sighing.

"I don't even know how to feel. That was the first time we kissed since Gracie was born and everything happened. It has been a while, but it felt right" she said.

It was hard to explain how she felt about Abel.

She never really could.

The girls all wrapped their arms around Mia and each other in comfort.

"Hey, you deserve to be happy, then forget about that skank bitch and get your man" Abby said.

Mia laughed and wiped her tears. She was right.

Mia needed closeness with Abel again.

"I think I will, but" she stopped them from chiming in, "I am going to do it my own way" she added.

The girls pouted at being left out, but they understood where she was coming from.

"Come on, let's change the subject" Leah got up and put on a movie for them to relax and vedge.

The boys ended up going to bed while the girls finished off their margaritas and the movie before stumbling to bed.

Since Jax and Chloe were watching Gracie, Mia made her way to Abel's room.

Abel was away, lying on his back, arms crossed behind his head.

He watched as she stumbled into the room, dug into one of his drawers and pulled out a T-shirt.

She stripped out of her clothes and put his shirt on.

Once she changed and finished in the bathroom, she crawled into bed and rested against Abel, nuzzling his neck.

He wrapped his arms around her back, smiling down at her.

"Hi" she greeted, tilting her head up to see him.

He chuckled, "hi Dollface. You doin' okay darlin'?" he asked.

She smiled and traced his jawline. Sitting on his lips, she traced them smiling.

"You have kissable lips you know. Anyone ever told you that? they are so kissable" she stated.

He just chuckled. He hadn't seen her this drunk in a while.

"Is that so? I see you had a good night" he teased.

She smiled and nodded.

"Yup, we did the whole lick it, slam it, suck it thing and I decided that we should have sex" she said sitting up on his lap trying to claw his shirt off.

Abel grabbed her hands, stopping her movements.

"Mia" he held her hands, "babe, let's just sleep it off tonight and we'll finish this later" he tried to keep his control.

She was all over him and he was already into it.

It was hard for him to stop, but he knew she would regret it.

Keeping his grip on her hands, he flipped them over and bent to place a chaste kiss on her lips.

He settled next to her and wrapped his arms around her.

He kissed her neck and settled against her.

"I love you babe" he said.

She cuddled against him. "Are you mad I woke you up?" she asked scared to face him.

Drunk Mia was all over the place.

"No" he kissed the crook of her neck. "I am glad you had a good time. You deserve it. I am sorry for all the stress and craziness that's been going on" he said against her ear.

Mia sighed, smiling at his apology.

That's what she's been waiting for. It only strengthened her resolve to fight for their relationship.

"It will make us stronger. All this craziness will be worth it in the end. We just have to have faith" she said.

The dark was helping them be open and honest with each other. It let them break their barriers.

"You have enough faith for both of us babe" he stated.

She giggled and smiled, "be careful. Gracie and I need you in one piece" she said.

He smirked; he knew she would figure out what they were up to.

"I promise I am not going anywhere. You are stuck with me" he teased.

She smiled, "I hope so" she replied snuggling deeper into him.

It didn't take long for her to fall asleep.

Abel lay awake, his arms wrapped around Mia, just thinking over everything.

He was glad that she had a good time. She needed to let loose a little.

He just didn't know how he was going to get his family back, but this conversation gave him hope.

He knew he had a chance after this.

Once Abel was able to settle and relax, he let her scent overwhelm him and fell asleep.

It was a good end to the girl's day/night.
