I'm back! Sorry took so long for this chapter. I had writer's block, plus school got too busy. Plus, I re-edit this chapter 6-7 times

It had been an hour ago, since she was placed in the jail cell, after revealing she was Susannah from the future.

"Tell me, who you really are?" Willam said with frustration

Susannah shook her head and laughed, "you think this is funny? Dorothy or Gurden, or whatever your name is?" He responded

"No, it's just you're still the same after all these years."

Still frustrated he grabs the journal, "what's going on with this journal? Everytime we're at a crime scene or find evidence…"

"I'm writing it in. You told me too"

"What? I never did?"

"Not today, in the future dad. On my 16th birthday, you gave me the journal"

He shook his head and grabbed the rosary, "why do you have my mother's rosary?"

"You gave it to me, when I was 10. Told me to keep it safe. I don't pray that much, but still keep it as a reminder"

He pulled out the Shelley book, on the cover had a similar bullet mark, like the one that shot him, those many years ago, "why, do you have this book?" And goes into his pocket and pulls out his book.

She giggled, "mama, always said you kept the book on you at all times, when you're frustrated. Plus, I love reading Shelley."

He grumbles and picks up her copy, when a piece of paper with a drawing on it, fell onto his lap. He takes the paper, and sees blueprint of a child's play set, with a little house, swings, and a slide, "what's this?"

"That's the swing set you make for me."

He looks up at her, "how did you know? Did Dr. Ogden tell you, about a play set I was thinking of building for our daughter?"

She shook her head, "this is the blueprint of the play set you build for me."

He rubs his forehead and his belief, "this is the play set I had in mind to build, but didn't add the house."

"I know, it's because I suggest the house. You just have to wait till I tell you."

He still shakes his head in disbelief and calls for a constable, "take her to the cells"

"I am, what I say I am. I am your daughter, and you know it" she looks at him in his eyes.

As she says this to him, he looks at her blue eyes, the same color as Susannah. Still in disbelief, as he remains seated, when the constable takes her away, he smells something and sees some lavender poking out of her satchel, "no, still can't be."

As she lays head against the cold wall, the air filled with the smell of a mixture of sweat, alcohol, and mildew. She closes her eyes for a few minutes, when a constable calls out her name, "Miss Gurden?"

She looks up, "someone here to see you"

The person approaches and it's Julia, "ah Julia, or should I say mama…right on time"

"It's Dr. Ogden, to you and I have some questions for you, Miss Gurden" Julia says with a doctor voice as the constable opened the jail cell

As Susannah slide over on the bed, and patted the hard mattress, "sit, please I'm all ears"

As Julia sat down, she looked her and was amazed by the eyes, they were just like Susannah, "Dr. Ogden, what do you want to ask me?"

"Right, so you are claiming you are detective Murdoch's' and mines daughter?"

"I'm not claiming…I am your daughter, Susannah." As she grabbed Julia's hand, "come on, mama, I know you believe me."

Julia pulled her hand away, and stood up, "ok, so you say you're Susannah. When and where were you born?"

"January 21, 1910, in a cottage, up north in Muskoka. Dad had to deliver me."

"Who are you named after?"

"Dad's late sister, aunt Susannah. Also you chose the name, after you shut down his idea, to name me Muskoka."

Julia's eyes went wide, since no one but her, William and Susannah knew about that, and cleared her throat, "ok, this is harder question, how old were you when you saw your first dead body?"

"I was almost 5 months old. You and dad had been busy with work, so you both decided to spend your 8th wedding anniversary, as a family with a picnic. As, we were about to eat, you had heard something and found a dead man's body, and when you said it was sooner than you hoped, dad covered my face. You told me this when I was 5, and I thought it was the coolest story. Also, it was the first time I rode in the side buggy attached to dad's bicycle"

Julia's eyes went wider, "no one knows that full story, except constable George Crabtree, but he could have told you that today. Ok, next question, for your first Halloween, what were you dressed up as?"

"I was a baby vampire bat. Daddy was Dracula. He was planning on a family costume. You were supposed to be Mina, but you had to solve a case about the clown killers."

"Ok, what instrument did you begin to play at the age of 22 months?"

"Piano. It was to help to lower my energy, and it was uncle George's idea"

Julia is was in disbelief but every question, she asked was answered with full explanation, "ok, here's a difficult one, what did your father recommend for you, so you didn't get into things?"

Susannah laughed, "he kept calling it the baby tethered, but after hearing the full story about…it was definitely a leash."

"Thank you" Julia said as she laughed and sat beside her

"So you do believe me?"

Julia placed one hand on Susannah's and the other hand to her cheek, "it's hard for me to admit, but I do, darling. You're right, I knew it when I first came into the cell."

"My eyes, right?"

Julia nodded, "yes. Since this morning, I had a feeling I knew you."

"Well, I knew you would by this time of the day, from according to my journal. Just need to wait till dad, believes in me, which will be tomorrow morning."

"But darling, why have you come from the future? Did you actually kill Sam or his brother?"

"No, no he's really was my friend. I didn't show remorse because I knew what was going to happen to him. Yes, I'm very sad there both dead, but do I know who killed them…no"

"No? Don't you have the information about their deaths In the journal?"

"I can't reveal that part of the journal, until it happens."

"So, why do you write in the journal?"

"The journal is filled already with what's happening. Once, something is revealed like a clue, I write with my pen, which has invisible ink in it."

"Ingenious." Julia smiled, "you have so much of your father in you."

"You have no idea, how often people tell me that in the future"

Julia giggled, "well, I'm going to talk to your father, but you will still have to…"

"Yes, I'll have to stay in the cell. I'm ok with that…but can you get me some lavender, I still have some in my bag, but it's not very fresh."

"You still use it to help you sleep?"

"Yes, it helps me calm my senses. If I don't have it under my pillow, I can't sleep"

"Of course, I will darling, anything else?"

"My favorite book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and my favorite food, oatmeal cookies and milk?"

Julia smiled, "of course, loved talking to you. Wish I didn't have to leave you in here."

"Don't worry, mama, you'll see me soon at home, but the 2 year old me."

"Right, right" Julia smiled again and kissed Susannah on the forehead, "I'll be back with the things. Is there anything else, I should know?"

"Yes, I can't meet my younger self, or something bad will happen…that's all I will say…"

Julia went from happy to concern, "like what?"

"I can't say mama. You have to wait" Susannah said as she looked at Julia

Julia nodded and knew she meant it, "ok, darling. See you later"
