Chapter 07: An Unexpected Meeting

Watching her base go up in flames, she scowled deeply; all that work, years of planning, and it was all going up in smoke. She despised setbacks, but she hated dying more.

Hydra had finally found her and her Serpent Society and set about eradicating her and her organisation before she could put her plans into action and take over Hydra. To make things worse, as the fools attacked their base, Diamondback found her conscience and finally betrayed her, freeing Captain America and vanishing into the night with him. It went without saying that Diamondback would suffer for her betrayal, but for now, Sin had no choice but to retreat, shame and humiliation stinging her pride.

It was ironic that her greatest victory, the discovery and capture of Captain America, was also her downfall. It was what tipped Hydra off to their location; they hadn't covered their tracks well enough, and S.H.I.E.L.D. found traces of them, which Hydra followed.

She'd hunt Diamondback and her wayward Captain down later, but with the attention from both Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D., she needed to leave, abandoning her base as she fled into the night.

That didn't mean she was accepting this defeat without landing a blow on both organisations that were hunting her; she still had one last card to play. At the moment, both S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra would be hunting her and her Serpent Society, but she had a plan to deal with that.

After all, they wouldn't have the time to hound her when they were too busy hunting each other. Sending the signal, she smirked to herself as she left the burning base behind her.

Nick Fury would be too busy hunting down the leads she had graciously arranged to be delivered to him; he wouldn't be able to ignore the proof that Hydra had infiltrated his organisation after all, that they were in the very council commanding him. She had long since been gathering evidence of Hydra's infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D., and she simply hoped not to need to use it since it would weaken Hydra, which she would lead in time.

As for Hydra, they would be too busy dealing with S.H.I.E.L.D. discovering their existence within S.H.I.E.L.D. itself to devote any resources to hunting her. She could find a new base and re-establish herself, and no matter who won the war she had just triggered, she would be the one to come out on top.

She'd set up and start again; as long as she was alive, her ambition would persist.

– Yukio Yashida – Next Morning –

"You know, we'll be late for school if you two don't hurry up," Yukio said absently as she lay on the bed, not making any move to get up herself, despite her words. "It's your first day at Midtown, right? Do you really want to be late?" Yukio asked again as her hands groped her own breasts gently, teasing a nipple as she took in the sight in front of her.

"We- Oh fuck, that's it, harder~ We'll be done so-oOon," Ellie bit out between her grunts and moans on her back with her legs pushed up beside her head as Kuro pounded into her fiercely, the bed shaking with each powerful thrust into Ellie's tight cunt. Her girlfriend was being used as a cum-dump, Kuro's own cocksleeve, and Yukio just smiled as she watched the show.

"This is your second round this morning," Yukio said bluntly with a smile as she watched the insatiable beast defile Ellie. Kuro just didn't stop; he was actually rather impressive.

"Y-you're one to talk! Ahn~ Oh, god- Mmhmm," Ellie moaned out, cumming again around the invaded shaft as her head fell limp on the bed, Kuro speeding up his ruthless pounding as he violated the defenceless girl.

Yukio paused, looking down at her own pussy, the tight slit still gaping as Kuro's thick, fertile seed slowly leaked out from it. Yeah, maybe Ellie had a point.

"I'm going to get a shower. Hurry up and creampie the little slut, sexy," Yukio said with a sultry tone, placing a kiss on Kuro's cheek. Kuro grabbed her, pulling her back as she tried to leave, placing a rough kiss on her lips as she moaned into his mouth. As he broke the kiss, Yukio hopped out of bed with a giggle as she left Ellie to her fate, the sounds of squealing and flesh clapping together behind her.

Washing herself of the sweat and semen from last night's and this morning's games, Yukio sighed to herself as minutes later, she felt a rough kiss on her neck, a pair of hands groping her soapy body, a certain hardness pressing against her ass.

"Really, Kuro? Four times in one morning? Wait until after school; we have places to be," Yukio giggled, seeing Ellie limp into the shower and start cleaning herself off with a tired smile. Ellie was a mess, her light make-up stained onto her cheeks and her lipstick ruined as Ellie began to clean herself, light marks on her body from where she'd been spanked and roughly groped. Ellie liked a little pain, and Kuro took advantage of that to destroy Ellie.

"Nah," Kuro replied simply, uncaring as he gripped her hips and bent her over, her breasts pressing into the shower wall as he pressed his rock-hard shaft against her wet pussy and thrust right back into her with no need for foreplay.

Moaning, she braced herself against the wall and moved her hips back in time with his thrusts, knowing Ellie was watching her as she got fucked for the second time this morning.

She had never been late for school before, but she couldn't bring herself to stop him.

– Kuro Tepes – Later –

My healing is incredibly useful for fixing minor injuries like bite marks and limps. Despite that, I've deliberately left the love bite that I put on Ellie's neck untouched; some of the students have already joked about Yukio marking her territory, which makes the fact that I'm the one who did it more entertaining.

Kitty and Rogue know, and so does Jean, obviously, but it's funny watching Ellie stutter out excuses instead of just going along with it and blaming Yukio; it makes people more suspicious than just playing it off.

Sitting in the bus next to Rogue, I play on my phone as she leans against me, her head resting on my shoulder as we head to Midtown High. Apparently, there was an incident at the last school involving the Brotherhood teens and the X-Men trainees. It got so destructive that even Xavier wasn't able to clear things up, and the junior X-Men found themselves no longer welcome there.

Midtown was the only other school willing to take them in the area, at least not without Xavier mindfucking a lot of people. When a gymnasium explodes, word gets around, and there is a limit to what mind control can do unless you want to make people into puppets.

The Brotherhood boys were pulled out entirely, and no one knows where they were sent. It seems more like Magneto just decided not to have them be at a human school at all. This means they might be more dangerous than their evolution counterparts if they have been pulled into the main brotherhood, spending their time learning to control their powers instead of wasting time here.

Stroking Rogue's hair as we travel, I pass the time playing a shitty phone game, it's basically angry birds, but you throw Captain America's Shield to hit bad guys instead. It's not great, but I'm a competitive guy, so when a message makes me miss the final shot on Red Skull, I scowl to myself before I close the game.

'Your newfound fame has its uses; we can suppress it and give the public something new to pay attention to, or we can make use of your five minutes of fame, which is my preferred choice. Any preference?'

Emma is on the ball, as always.

My new fame is a little bit annoying; I'd rather be an unknown working in the shadows. That being said, being famous comes with its own benefits, doesn't it? Do I want to sacrifice my comfort for the benefits of fame?

Even if I do embrace the attention, things are going to get crazy soon enough. When more and more enhanced heroes and villains start appearing, I'll just become one of many, barely worth paying attention to compared to the Avengers and the other chaos. Already, there are the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man in New York alone; I've heard rumours of Daredevil and Iron Man will be coming back soon enough.

A teenager who can teleport heal isn't really worth attention in the long run. When the invasion happens, I might do some PR work and heal the injured civilians, maybe use my light magic to take down some Chitauri attackers and help people get to safety with my portals. It should be easy to portray myself in a good light because white magic is much more PR-friendly than my usual tricks.

If I'm being honest with myself, I do need to embrace reality. Even if Emma uses her connections to get rid of the attention, I'm probably going to end up in the spotlight by accident with my usual luck. I've never been great at avoiding trouble, have I? I might as well control the attention; it's better to use it than to have my reputation just be uncontrolled speculation and rumours.

When I send my answer back, it takes her less than a minute to reply, and she does not even give me time to start my game up before she tells me that she'll set up an interview with a reporter for today.

Apparently, we should strike while the iron is hot.

She explains that I don't need to worry about it; no matter how it goes, the reporter will make it look good. Emma is a public relations wizard; she'll handle the rest.

Sending back an agreement, I go back to my game. Red Skull is being a little bitch to hit, hiding behind Nazi soldiers and a wall; you have to angle it just right so the shield bounces through the opening and hits him in the head.

+10 Affection with Emma Frost [40/100] for being willing to use your fame. She really would have gotten rid of the attention if you asked her to.

It is nice to know she would have gone along with my wishes. My little alliance with her is already bearing fruit.

As the bus pulls up at the school, Rogue frowns, looking over the class schedule.

"We don't have a single class together. That's a little weird. All the mutants are grouped together, except you," Rogue says with a frown as she compares our schedules.

She's not wrong; looking at Kitty and Ellie's schedules, I am in a different group than any of them. Is that a coincidence, or is someone pulling strings to separate me from my fellow mutants? It could be either, but I find it is always best to assume enemy action.

"Well, we can meet up at lunch. You're sleeping in my room tonight, so it doesn't matter that much," I say, kissing her as she blushes; we're piling off the bus, and some of the human students are lurking around outside, so we've already been seen. Kissing Kitty as well, I listen to the whispers my somewhat enhanced ears pick up with a smile.

Better to get it out of the way. I'm not pretending that we aren't together. I like to mark my territory, anyway.

+20 Reputation at Midtown High School [30/100]. The guys want to be you, and the girls are wondering why two beautiful girls would share you.

I already had ten rep with them; how? I guess my heroic deeds have gathered me some attention.

Wait, isn't Flash a major Spidey fanboy? If he's here, that could explain it. Plus, having a new student who was just on the news must be interesting for ordinary humans who don't deal with weirdness as often as the students at Xavier's madhouse.

"I'll see you two at lunch; our first classes are in different sections of the school," I say, giving Rogue one last kiss as I follow the map I was given this morning and head to my classroom.

Peter Parker should be around here somewhere, and Michelle Jones and Ned should probably be around here as well.

I think the Vulture's daughter is in this class as well. Homecoming shouldn't have happened yet, right? But then, Spidey shouldn't be active, so what the fuck do I know about the timeframe? I think she was a Spider-Man fangirl as well, one that Peter had a crush on but flunked in typical Spider fashion.

That was before his thing for Michelle (who I'm not calling MJ), but then again, I could also be completely wrong since this world clearly does not follow the movies perfectly.

I know I usually take people's girls, but Peter can (probably) have Michelle. Don't get me wrong, she's hot enough, but she and Peter were a cute couple, and Peter deserves some love. I might not be particularly heroic, but I can appreciate the effort and sacrifice people like Peter put into being this hero business. Well, when I'm not the one they are hunting, at least.

"You're the new guy, right?" a feminine voice gets my attention as I'm checking the room number. Turning to the source, I make eye contact with a pair of smiling light blue eyes as I immediately change my mind. Peter can go fuck himself with a rusty spoon because as the sexy redhead in a tight white shirt and skin-tight jeans smiles kindly at me, I decide that he really doesn't need a girlfriend.

Hello, Tiger, I think I just hit the jackpot~

"That's me. I take it you're one of my new classmates?" I ask, holding my hand out as she takes it; before she can shake it, I lift it and place a soft kiss on the back of her hand, making her giggle.

"I am. Mary-Jane Watson, at your service, but you can just call me MJ; everyone does. But you don't need to introduce yourself, do you, Tiger? Kuro Tepes, the playboy who saved Spider-Man. Gossip travels faster than the speed of sound, apparently; I doubt there's a single person in our class who hasn't heard of you," Mary-Jane says with a giggle and an appraising look. I do confirm that there is some fuckery going on with the other Mary-Jane because now I have two Mary-Janes in my tracker.

"The price of being me, the spotlight loves me. Yeah, that's me. I didn't think my name had already been linked to my little escapade with Spidey, but oh well." I say with a carefree shrug as we wait outside the locked classroom.

"It wasn't in the news reports, but people online work fast. I guess someone from your last school recognised you since your name was being thrown around on forums right after. A word of advice: there's a kid called Flash here, and he's the biggest Spider-Man fanboy you'll ever meet; you should probably expect him to have a thousand questions for you," Mary-Jane says as more people start to arrive.

One of them makes me pause, looking between her and Mary-Jane with a confused look.

"Hey, MJ," she says as she leans against the opposite wall, playing on her phone. She gives me a curious once-over before turning away.

"Hey, MJ," Mary-Jane says back to Michelle with a smile. Wait, what?

Well, I knew that Michelle wasn't Mary-Jane, obviously, but I can't say I saw this coming. And I take it back again: Peter can have Michelle, but Mary-Jane is mine. Should I expect a Harry Osborn as well?

"This is Kuro, our new classmate. Kuro, this is Michelle Jones, also nicknamed MJ. Long story short, we both used the nickname before we met. We both liked the name but couldn't decide which of us should be MJ. So, now we both are, don't mind her. She's not a 'people-person'," The real MJ explains as Michelle gives me a half-assed wave before she puts her headphones on and ignores us.

While we wait for the teacher to show up, MJ introduces me to a few more people as they show up, some of them being recognisable: Ned, Gwen Stacey (who I don't think went to Midtown, but here she is), a young Betty Brant, Elizabeth Toomes (which means the Vulture is almost certainly going to happen, but he gets the tech after the Chitauri attack, so I have time, assuming I have to do anything since that's Spidey's song and dance) and finally Flash Johnson, who immediately started questioning me over Spidey. He even tries to wheedle Spidey's identity out of me, not noticing Peter walk up to Ned not ten feet away, but I shut him down.

He also insisted on taking a picture with me 'for the gram'. I show a great deal of restraint and diplomacy by not breaking his nose. I figured that punching him in his dumbass face wouldn't make the best first impression, but I get the feeling some of the people watching wouldn't have blamed me for doing it.

No Harry Osborn, though. Interesting.

Hearing a gasp, I turn and make eye contact with the wide-eyed Peter, making him look away nervously. Does he really think I won't recognise him?

Before he can say anything, the teacher arrives, and class begins. I take a moment to introduce myself properly, but the teacher stops the questions, making it clear that they aren't to bother me about any 'supernatural things'.

This basically announces that, yes, I have powers, and yes, I was the one on the news. He meant well, but I don't think he thought that one through. If he was trying to shut down any questions, he did the exact opposite.

The whispers and stares only get more intense as he tries to start the class, but oh well, shit happens. It wasn't going to stay secret either way.

Deciding to work on my reputation since I can't slink into the shadows, I go out of my way to show off my intelligence. My intelligence stat is doing good work for me as I outdo the rest of the class easily, with the sole exception of Peter himself, who almost manages to keep up with me.

If I didn't have the Intelligence checks, he'd even beat me easily, but the game is unfair to its NPCs. As long as my Intelligence is above the threshold, I'll always win. It is a little scary that baby Peter is classified as A in intelligence in Marvel, which has so many geniuses. He's a genuine genius; I'm just better because I cheat.

He has to learn the old-fashioned way; Isis just gives me the answers if I have the stat requirement.

As our classes break for Lunch, Peter begins to approach me before shaking his head, grabbing Ned and pulling him away. Does Ned already know about his alter-ego?

I just shrug to myself and head to lunch. MJ quickly joins me, offering to 'give me the tour'. It's not really needed, given the smaller size of Midtown compared to Xavier's mansion, but I won't turn down the company.

"So, I'm curious, and I know you probably get asked this a lot, but what's with the girlfriends?" Mary-Jane asks as we walk to the cafeteria, making me smile.

"It's complicated? Actually, it isn't, I'm just greedy. I like Rogue, and I like Kitty. They like me, and they like each other, so I'm dating both," I try to explain my love life with a slight frown. "When I say they like each other, I mean they're best friends, not into each other, mostly."

"Huh. So they are just okay with that? I guess it's not cheating when you don't hide it, and if you're upfront about it and it works for you three, I don't really think it's anyone else's business," Mary-Jane says with a thoughtful look. "The rest of the kids from your other school tend to keep to themselves, and I don't think I've ever spoken to a single other student from Xavier's school before you, except Jean, and that's a rare occurrence. It's weird, but somehow, it just feels right that you have multiple girlfriends. I don't know why, but I don't think monogamy would suit you." Mary-Jane says, laughing as she gives me another once-over.

Creator Shiro would agree, which is why he made this Multiverse more accepting towards Harems. Well, more accepting towards you having a Harem.

Of course, he did. Well, it's not like I'm not thankful. It does make things easier, but I'd have gotten them either way, of course. Eromancy is at my command again, after all, but I won't complain about things being made smoother for me.

"It's the only way a single girl can't handle me on their own," I boast with a playful flex, making her giggle and slap my pecs.

"Well, aren't you confident, Tiger? I hope you know that bragging is only sexy when you can back it up," Mary-Jane says with a smirk, which I return.

"Superhuman, remember? My body is in peak condition; I barely get tired anymore. It's a simple truth that an ordinary girl would collapse from exhaustion trying to keep up with me. Feel free to put me to the test; don't worry; you won't have anything to be embarrassed about when you have to tap out," I joke, making her blush as her eyes widen slightly. "I don't need to brag; I'm just stating facts," I say back as we reach the table where Rogue, Kitty, Ellie, and Yukio are waiting for me.

"Isn't that right, Ellie?" I ask as Ellie gives me a deadpan stare, flipping me off as I sit down. "Love you too, cutie. Everyone, this is Mary-Jane Watson, my classmate. MJ, these are Rogue and Kitty, my two girlfriends, along with Ellie and Yukio, my… hmm, we never did settle what we are, did we? Let's go with friends with benefits, for now?" I say, making Ellie blush as she stares at the table. Yukio just waves happily, though. She doesn't correct me, and I know she wants to continue our little relationship.

"You should be careful, Mary-Jane. Kuro has no restraint. One minute, you're meeting him, and he seems sweet if a bit of a bad boy, and the next thing you know, you've been conscripted into his ever-growing harem," Kitty says with a giggle.

"Just MJ, Mary-Jane is a mouthful, and I'll keep my guard up and watch out for his wiley ways," Mary-Jane says teasingly.

"I give it a week, at most," Ellie mutters to herself, a deep blush still on her cheeks.

"That's a bold claim because that's a whole five days more than you lasted, six days more than me," Rogue replies bluntly, making Ellie blush deeper.

"I'm not in his harem. It's just- we're just- he's like a sex toy. Yeah, he's just a toy to help spice things up in the bedroom for Yukio and me," Ellie says quickly, making MJ raise an eyebrow.

"You do work fast," Mary-Jane murmurs, looking almost impressed as Rouge leans against me, getting a one-armed hug.

"Well, everyone needs a hobby," I shrug, eating the cafeteria food with a hidden frown. The food here blows, or maybe I've just been spoiled by Xavier's rich kid school food.

Kitty, Yukio and MJ quickly bond as the nice popular girls. Rogue and Ellie roll their eyes as they tune out the gossiping girls, taking a moment to share an exasperated look as they bond as fellow introverts.

I need a tomboy and a nerdy girl for my group. Ellie is somewhat tomboyish, but she's more of a rebel than a tomboy.

As I eat, I see Peter staring at me, looking away every time I look in his direction. This is very much an inexperienced Spider-Man who barely understands the meaning of the word subtlety. He's basically broadcasting that there's something going on between us.

Heading back to class, I zone most of the day out. Maths and science are easy enough, so I can breeze through them, and everyone else is still busy working, so I can't really socialise either.

MJ and I got paired together for a chemistry project. I did most of the work since while MJ is a lovely girl, she isn't going to be a scientist any time soon, and I want to get good grades to keep my rep up.

"Are you sure you don't mind? I feel kinda bad letting you do most of the work," Mary-Jane asks hesitantly as she marks down the results of our (my) investigation.

"Look, I mean no offence with this, but can you honestly say we'd get the same grade if you did this part?" I ask her, making her laugh sheepishly.

"Fair enough. I get decent grades, but I'm not that smart. I've never seen anyone outdo Parker before; he's our school, Brainac, and only Gwen comes close to beating him," Mary-Jane admits as I give her a grin.

"Enhanced brain, I had Sue Storm baffled at how smart I am. As far as powers go, I won the genetic lottery." I bluff; it's the easiest way to explain my skill checks. Name-dropping a member of the Fantastic Four makes her eyes widen, looking impressed. "So, not a scientist in the making, then?" I ask to pass the time as I watch the chemical reaction, jotting down some notes.

+10 Affection with Mary-Jane Watson [20/100] for being scarily intelligent.

"No, science is fun, but it's really not for me. If everything goes well? I want to be an actress. Maybe a model if acting doesn't work out. If modelling doesn't work out? I have no idea; I'm trying not to think about that," Mary-Jane admits with a shrug.

"You certainly have the looks to pull off modelling, so I doubt you'll have many problems with it," I say, already considering some things. Emma could definitely set her up if I asked her to. It could be an easy way to get one of the most famous (and most attractive) members of the Spider-harem.

For a guy with atrocious luck with women, Peter is constantly surrounded by some amazingly hot girls.

"You just don't stop, do you?" Mary-Jane asks with a laugh. "Thank you, even if you're just trying to get into my panties, I can still appreciate the compliment."

"I'm serious; just because I want to get into your panties doesn't make it untrue. If anything, my experience means that when I say you're incredibly sexy, I really mean it." I say, making her giggle.

"An expert's opinion, huh? Good to know. So, enlighten me, how much experience do you have exactly?" Mary-Jane asks, making me pause and mentally tally up the numbers. "Actually, never mind, if you have to count for that long, it's probably best you don't give me an exact number," Mary-Jane deadpans as I stop sheepishly.

"Let's just go with… a lot?" I say with a sheepish grin. "The ladies love me, and I love them right back."

"I thought so. Thanks for the vote of confidence; when I'm a world-famous model, I'll send you an autographed picture of me." Mary-Jane teases, making me smile in amusement. At least classes are more entertaining with someone to mess around with.

"Aww, I was hoping for a private show," I tease, making her roll her eyes; despite her exasperation, a small smile is set on her face; she likes being flirted with.

"I'll think about it, Tiger, I'll think about it," Mary-Jane says teasingly, a sultry grin appearing on her face for a moment before she ruins it, giggling. "You really are greedy; if I didn't know what to expect from the rumours, you might just have gotten me already."

"Guess I'll have to work a bit harder to get you; luckily, I'm not afraid of a bit of hard work, especially when the prize is worth it." I flirt back, making her burst into giggles again.

"I don't really want to be another name in your little black book, Tiger," she replies after a moment, making me frown.

"Hey, I care about my girls, all of my girls," I say seriously, with a light scowl. "None of my girls are just another name."

"Really? Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Plus, I can see that. You definitely seem sweet with Rogue and Kitty," Mary-Jane says apologetically, making me sigh.

"It's fine, no harm done. I guess I'm more touchy about it than I thought," I say back with a light frown. "I know our relationship isn't normal, but I genuinely do care for them."

I miss the girls I had before this all happened. I know I'll get them back, but I still miss them right now. Rias and Grayfia especially, but I miss them all.

Don't worry, Master, you'll get them all back!

Thanks, Isis. You're right. I'll get them all back. It's just a matter of time.

Mary-Jane looks a little awkward, having sensed my dark thoughts, so I sigh and give her a cocky grin.

"But we weren't talking about my lovers; we were talking about your future. Have you tried auditioning for anything yet or done any modelling?" I ask, making her shake her head.

"I've tried a few places, but New York has an excess of girls who want to make it big," Mary-Jane admits. "Never made the cut, probably because I wasn't willing to do my audition on my knees if you catch my meaning."

It's her turn to frown, a scowl crossing her pretty face as I give her a speculative look.

"You know, I have a contact with connections in the entertainment business. I could be convinced to put in a good word for you," I offer, making her turn to me with a speculative stare.

"Seriously? Or is this an attempt to talk me into sleeping with you for access to some non-existent contact?" Mary-Jane asks, getting a roll of my eyes for her trouble.

"Give me some credit. I don't need to lie to get laid, MJ. My Sugar Momma is very well-connected, and she wouldn't mind setting things up for you if I asked her," I explain, making her blink before she giggles.

"Of course you have a sugar momma," Mary-Jane giggles. "You're being serious, aren't you?"

"Yup, I know she owns several modelling agencies and fashion brands and has contacts in Hollywood. It's not what you know, but who you know… or who you'll blow if you don't have the contacts," I say with a shrug. Hellfire has some serious connections in the entertainment industry.

Mary-Jane goes quiet as I turn my attention back to our experiment, making a few notes as she thinks.

"So, Tiger, what would you want in exchange for using those fancy connections of yours?" Mary-Jane asks, and I can tell from her body language that she's expecting me to push her for sex, or at least a blowjob.

I'm also good enough at reading people to know she'd turn me down, but I'm not dumb enough to rush things when my prey is so cagey.

"How about a kiss, one kiss, and I'll ask Emma to set you up with a professional modelling session to start your portfolio," I offer as class finishes, watching her blush slightly as we pack up and make our way out.

"Just a kiss?" Mary-Jane asks with a raised eyebrow. "That's a little cheap, isn't it?"

"Hmm, you're right. Let's call it a kiss and some light over-the-clothes play, then. You know, most people negotiate down, not up," I point out teasingly, making her eyes widen before she snorts.

"True, guess I just enjoy being different," Mary-Jane says with a crooked smile, and I can see the indecision in her eyes as we start to reach the front of the school where the bus back to Xavier's is waiting for me. "You better be serious about this, tiger."

As we walk past a room, she looks around the corridor and drags me into an empty classroom, giving me a look.

"You promise you have contacts? This isn't just some joke?" Mary-Jane asks, and I simply pull out my phone.

– Mary-Jane Watson –

"Hey, Emma. No, this isn't about the interview. I just wanted to take you up on your offer to use your contacts," Kuro explained, listening to the other end. "I've got a new friend who wants to get into acting and modelling, and I was hoping you could set her up with a professional modelling session and help her build her portfolio."

She could barely hear a woman on the other end, unable to make out her words as Kuro laughed.

"Yeah, she's beautiful," Kuro confirmed, giving her a wink as she felt her cheeks heat up. Was she really considering this? It was just a kiss and a little groping due to her genius negotiating strategy, and she couldn't deny she was curious about what made Kuro so special. "Thanks, Emma, I appreciate it. Her name is Mary-Jane Watson, her number? Hey, MJ, Emma wants your contact details."

She jumped, pulling out her phone as her heart pounded. In truth, she'd been facing nothing but dead-ends so far, and while she was still young, it was painful to have the door slammed in your face. She hadn't been kidding about some of the directors being willing to give her a role in exchange for some favours from her, but she didn't want to start her career by losing her virginity to an old, fat, balding man.

Her phone vibrated, getting a message with the name of a modelling agency that she recognised as a very high-end one here in New York, the kind of place that she wouldn't even apply to because she knew it was far beyond her reach. In addition, it had a date and a time, with a note from a 'Miss Frost' that she would send a car to pick her up beforehand.

Her eyes widened as Kuro thanked his 'Sugar Momma', Miss Frost, as in Emma Frost, of Frost International. Even she knew that name because of how intertwined that name was with the highest end of the entertainment business.

"Yeah, I'll see you later; thanks again, Emma," Kuro said, ending the call with a cocky smile. "See, it's all about who you know, and I know people."

"Just like that?" Mary-Jane asked, unsure of if she was talking to Kuro or herself, as Kuro sent her a message with his contact details, which she saved.

"Just like that. Emma is well-connected," Kuro agreed with that little grin on his face. He was looking smug about how quickly he'd arranged that, but she couldn't blame him. He claimed he knew people, and just like that, he'd set her up with the best agency in the state.

"What was that interview you mentioned?" Mary-Jane asked, buying time as she gathered her thoughts.

"Emma wants me to embrace my five minutes of fame from saving Spidey, so she's arranged for me to be interviewed by a reporter tonight. Like I said, she has connections," Kuro shrugged, leaning against a desk as she bit her lip.

She'd basically agreed to his offer by dragging him in here, and he'd done his part. Something told her that he could destroy her dreams just as effortlessly, asking Miss Frost to blacklist her, not that she thought he'd do that as she stepped forward, making him grin.

"Credit where it's due, tiger. I didn't even last a day," Mary-Jane quipped, leaning in as their lips met. This wasn't her first kiss, his arms wrapping around her waist as she pressed her chest against his and deepened the kiss, but it became very apparent that Kuro was a damn–good kisser as she moaned into his mouth quietly, probably all his experience paying off.

God, was she really this easy?

Well, she was in good company from the sounds of it. Rogue, Kitty, Ellie and Yukio had all fallen to his wiles just as readily. He probably schemed this up the moment she mentioned she wanted to be an actress, the perfect bait to get her into his arms.

His hands rested on her ass, right over her jeans, but she just continued to make out with him as he squeezed her booty through her denim jeans. As he broke the kiss, he gave her a hungry look as a string of saliva connected their mouths, his hands still caressing her backside.

"One kiss and some light groping, right?" Kuro asked, making her nod. "Then you're all paid up."

She felt oddly disappointed when he let go of her ass, making her smirk at him.

"For this session, sure," Mary-Jane agreed, kissing his neck. "I'm sure you'll talk me into another deal soon enough."

Kuro just chuckled, giving her a slow once-over. His hand came up and cupped her breast through her t-shirt, but despite being 'paid up', she didn't push him away as she returned the favour and stroked his impressive muscles through his top.

He wasn't lying about being in 'peak condition' because he blew all her ex-boyfriends out of the water with his chiselled abs and sexy pecs.

"You have my number. I honestly think you could make it without any help; you're beautiful and charming, but Emma can turn you into a superstar with no real effort. If you ever want to give your career a little boost, you know where I am," Kuro agreed, leaning in and kissing her again, just briefly. Again, it wasn't something she owed him, but she didn't stop him either. "Face it, tiger, you just hit the jackpot."

She gave him a little smirk as he pushed himself off the desk and started to walk towards the door. Wasn't that her line?

– Kuro Tepes –

Leaving the breathless Mary-Jane, I mentally grin. An excellent start to my time in Midtown. If I have to waste time here, I can at least get laid for the trouble.

+10 Affection with Mary-Jane Watson [35/100] for being a fantastic kisser and keeping your word. Emma knows you want her, so she's good and hooked now.

Ha, any girl that I could end up knocking up, huh?

+5 Affection with Emma Frost [45/100] for being willing to use her contacts for your own ends, deepening your connection to Hellfire.

Emma is great. It's honestly unfair for Xavier and Magneto to have to compete with her because she was always going to win. She's exactly my type, morally dubious without being a frothing-at-the-mouth extremist, really just focused on her own personal gain and the survival of her race. I love selfish people when their selfishness aligns with mine.

As I approach the bus, someone meekly approaches me, making me pause.

"Hello again. Can we talk? In private? Please?" Peter asks quietly, looking around to see if anyone is listening to our conversation.

"Hey. Nice to meet you in less dire circumstances. Sure, I have time to talk; just give me a second," I say, texting Rogue and telling them to leave without me. I'll just Sling Ring back once I'm done.

"Great! Err, let's go somewhere more private, too many people around. My aunt shouldn't be home, and I live nearby," Peter says, grabbing my arm and pulling me away; if he's trying not to let people know we know each other, he's doing a terrible job at it.

Pulling me through the streets, he leads me to a quaint little townhouse, pulling me inside as he closes and locks the door. I watch him with bemusement as he rushes around, pulling the living room curtains shut, just to add to the suspicion of anyone watching.

And I always assume someone is watching. It's not paranoia when I'm usually right.

– Natasha Romanov (Black Widow) –

Watching her target get dragged into the house, she raised an eyebrow in amusement as the teenage boy ran around, closing all the windows and curtains. Well, if she wasn't already curious about what the Parker boy wanted with Kuro, she was now.

– Kuro Tepes –

"So, umm, please don't tell anyone my identity," Peter rushes out, making me chuckle deeply.

"You know you could have just said that at school and saved us both some time, Spidey?" I ask, making him flinch.

"I didn't want to talk about that stuff in school," Peter replies quickly, making me shrug.

"So your genius plan was to pull me to your home, in full view of the rest of the school, starting countless rumours and confirming that we know each other? You really aren't very good at the whole subtlety thing yet, are you?" I ask, seeing him hesitate before he groans and facepalm, muttering something unkind to himself.

That's a young Peter Parker for you, incredible intelligence and questionable wisdom.

"Damn it, sorry, I just panicked when I saw you show up. Anyway, you need to be careful. Kraven is looking for you, and that guy is straight up 'belongs in an asylum' crazy. You stopped his hunt, hurt his pride and he wants you dead for it," Peter warns me, making me sigh.

"I figured he would be. Don't worry about it; it's hard to track someone who can teleport. I'll be careful, though," I assure him. "I don't go down easy."

"Good, look, I get that you have powers, but if he shows up, just teleport away. He's certifiably insane, so don't try fighting him. I'm going to track him down and send him back to the Raft, but he's good at hiding, and his boss is causing me some trouble as well," Peter says, making me smirk.

"I'm pretty sure you're younger than me, or maybe you just have a baby face. You shouldn't be fighting him either," I say, making him pause before he lets out a laugh and runs a hand through his hair.

"You know what? You're probably right. The last time I took him down, I had to tell my aunt that I got mugged since he stabbed me a few times. Have you ever tried convincing a doctor that the spear hole in your shoulder came from a mugger? It's not easy. But I can't just ignore him, not when I have a chance to make a difference. With great power-" Peter starts before I hold up my hand.

"Comes great responsibility. Yeah, I've heard that before. I prefer 'With great power comes great wealth and beautiful women'; it seems to work out better for me," I snort, making him roll his eyes. "Look, Spidey, I'm no hero. Sure as fuck don't want to be either, but..." I start before sighing, pulling out my phone. "If you get injured on the 'job', call me. I'll heal you up; it's better than you making up an excuse every time you get your ass kicked protecting the city. If you need a healer, either for yourself or someone else, don't hesitate to call." I say, making him hesitate for a moment before he smiles and exchanges numbers with me. "I'm still learning, though. White Magic is something I'm pretty new to using," I admit, getting a nod and a thankful smile.

+20 Reputation with Peter Parker [60/100] for being willing to help in your own way.

Perk Rewarded

[Spider-Man: Danger Sense] – 50 Reputation Reward

It's no Spidey Sense, but you have a sixth sense for incoming danger. When you are about to be attacked, you gain a sense of foreboding, warning you. This feels more intense, the more dangerous the incoming threat is.

"Thanks.. I'll probably need to take you up on that. I have a regeneration factor, but it's only a small one; it can still take days for some wounds to heal. Aunt May isn't stupid; there are only so many times I can make excuses for my injuries," Peter admits with a grin. "There's a limit to how many times I can claim I got hit by a car when Rhino runs me down."

"Just a heads up, I can only teleport to places I've been before; if you're in the middle of nowhere, I'll either need you to move to somewhere I can teleport to, or it might take me a while to reach you. At least until I get better with my magic; right now, I'm relying on a magic artefact to move around," I admit, making him nod. As he goes to speak, the door rattles and the sound of a key being inserted makes him pause before he rushes around and pulls the curtains open, trying to look natural.

As his aunt walks in, I take a moment to apologise to Happy because damn. God bless you, X-Ray Vision.

"Peter, I'm ho- Oh, you have a friend over?" Aunt May asks as she walks into the room, I know the curvy brunette isn't an actual mother, but I don't think that should disqualify her from Milf status. She's an honourary milf, like Aunt Cass from Big Hero Six.

"He was just leaving, right, Kuro?" Peter asks quickly, making me smile.

"I was, but you must be May, right? Peter mentioned you, but he forgot to mention how young you were. I'm Kuro Tepes, a new classmate of Peter's," I introduce myself, holding out a hand; as she goes to shake it, I repeat my action with MJ and kiss it; if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Mostly, I just like Peter's wide-eyed look.

"Oh! Well, it's a pleasure to meet a friend of Peters. Are you sure you don't want to stay for dinner?" May asks, making me smile. I'm tempted because it would be very entertaining to hit on May and make Peter uncomfortable.

"I'd love to, but I have other plans for today. Perhaps another time," I say as Peter grabs my arm.

"I'll show him out! Come on, Kuro," Peter says, pulling me out of the room before he stops. "What was that?!" he half-shouts, half-whispers as we leave the living room.

"That was me meeting your incredibly sexy aunt; you didn't mention that she was such a looker," I say with a shrug, making him blanch.

"You two do realise that I can still hear you, right?" May asks, making Peter's eyes widen. She gives me an amused look, her hand on her hip as I deliberately give her a long look. Of course, she might not be so amused if she knew I was looking through her clothes.

"Oh, I know, but I only speak the truth. It was nice meeting you, May," I say with a wave as I walk out of the door.

+10 Affection with May Parker [10/100] for a good first impression and making her feel younger.

"He seems nice," I hear her say as the door closes, along with a groaning Peter.

Finding a suitably empty alleyway, I open a portal and step through, landing in my room at Xavier's. Getting changed, I check my messages with a sigh. Emma has already arranged all the details for the interview this evening. Blink will be picking me up in about two hours, which gives me some time to kill.

She works fast, or she already had someone in mind before I agreed and had it mostly set up, only finalising it when I agreed to go along with her plan.

Grabbing my White Magic Grimoire, I sit on my bed and start reading. I've deliberately stayed as close to Rogue as I can to speed-run my next upgrade quest, and nullifying multiple mutants counts as twice as effective for the time requirement. Ellie and Yukio were getting nullified all night, so that was easy to handle. I just had to keep finding excuses to touch Rogue throughout the ride and dinner, which gave me the required nullifications as well. Rogue doesn't mind; she likes the little kisses and touches.

[Nullification (X-Gene)]

Your X-Gene allows you to nullify the powers of other mutants you are touching or targetting within fifty meters, and you emit a small aura that prevents most X-Genes from working around you. This power can be disabled at will and can allow particular powers to work without being turned off.

I've taken the Upgrade Quest for the White Magic Proficiency. I want to get it to Apprentice before I start learning a second branch of magic to stop myself from becoming a jack of all trades and a master of fuck all.

It goes without saying that my second branch of magic will be Eromancy. I want my Necromancy back as well, but it's too unpleasant for PR at the moment. I don't have easy access to corpses and nowhere to store my horde; it's just not viable at the moment.

Besides, if all I have is Necromancy, then I'm just a Necromancer, which is terrible and scary and gets me swarmed by do-gooder hero types. If I have Necromancy, White Magic, Eromancy and some others, then I'm a talented mage who has dabbled in the dark arts.

One of those is a lot more publicly acceptable than the other.

White Magic Upgrade Quest (Apprentice)

Study the Grimoire for 10 Hours [0/10]

Cast 200 White Magic Spells [0/200]

As I start to work through the seemingly endless book of White Magic Rituals, Spells, Experiments, the biographies of other White Magic masters and detailed explanations, a knock at my door pulls me away, merely an hour into my studying.

I only had time to learn a spell to cure poison and a spell to buff weapons, but it's a good start.

[Purge Poison]

By flooding a target with white mana, you can purify any poisons within them. Magical and advanced poisons may require multiple attempts to fully cleanse the traces. This also works on things such as radiation.

[Imbue Light]

You can bind your light into various items, such as weapons or shields, to enhance their effectiveness and allow them to deal holy damage, which is doubly effective against dark-aligned creatures. This also allows them to harm the intangible.

If that's one of my girls, there will be consequences for interrupting my studies. Sexy, sexy consequences.

Opening the door, I pause, looking into Sooraya's dark eyes as she stares at me hesitantly. Unfortunately, she's dressed this time, garbed in a long black dress and a hijab. Yes, I looked up the name after I couldn't remember it last time. See, I can be inclusive.

I immediately look through her clothes because I am inclusive by being equally as much of a dick to everyone I'm not sleeping with.

"I- may we speak, please?" Sooraya asks after a moment as I try to work out why she'd want to speak to me after the whole seeing her naked thing. She's been ignoring me during our classes together.

"Sure, do you want to come in?" I ask after a moment; aside from her somewhat understandable anger at me, I don't really think anything about her one way or the other. I'm not that easily annoyed, and I understand why she was so pissy.

Sure, she got pissed at me after I made her go back into her human form without her clothes, but she's also a teenage girl. Expecting her to just get over being seen naked by me and Logan is unrealistic, even if it was just an accident, and that's without even touching the religious side of it.

"I- yes, please," Sooraya says entering my room, watching as I sit down on the edge of the bed and stare at her as she tries to gather her thoughts.

"So, what can I do for you?" I ask, making her sigh before she takes a deep breath.

"I owe you an apology. I let the accident when we met colour my image of you and judge you harshly. It is not your fault that I chose such a poor hiding place nor that our powers interacted so strangely. You may have… stared, but I know it was in shock at my sudden appearance, not in lust. I am sorry, I was wrong to treat you with such scorn," Sooraya says calmly, making my eyebrows raise in surprise.

Would she be so apologetic if she knew I was currently admiring her caramel breasts?

"It's fine, you didn't have to apologise. I didn't really mind. I get why you were so distant, and we were all on edge. It was a rough day for all of us, well, maybe just both of us since I don't think Logan was bothered. I think it was just a regular day for him." I say, making her smile shyly.

"Thank you, you are most gracious. So, a fresh start?" Sooraya offers after a moment. She's very formal, but I'm pretty sure that her English is very much a work in progress.

"Works for me; we'll be classmates for a while, after all. I'm Kuro Tepes; it's a pleasure to meet you, Sooraya," I say, holding out a hand which she takes, and I gently shake.

"And I am Sooraya Qadir, though I have started using the codename 'Dust'. I hope we can get along," Sooraya says as we shake hands. I see her Affection increase back to zero. She still isn't sure about my hedonistic ways after all. Her obedience is at twenty, which I find rather odd, but I'm distracted from working out why as Ororo opens the door and strolls in wearing her maid outfit.

Make that minus five.

"...don't judge, Sooraya, don't judge, don't judge," Sooraya mutters as she takes a deep breath, Ororo pausing as she sees I have company. "I will leave for now; it appears you have company, and I do not believe I should be here for… whatever this is," Sooraya says, taking another deep breath before she smiles and leaves.

Huh, she's actually quite sweet.

"Did I come time?" Ororo asks as she watches Sooraya close the door, a dark blush on her tanned cheeks as she avoids looking at the sluttily dressed teacher.

"Ehh, something like that," I say in amusement. "Nothing to worry about beyond making my reputation even more murky.

"I see. Well, I'll get started then, sir," Ororo says after a moment, starting her cleaning as I watch.

I pause, contemplating the pros and cons of continuing working on my magic before I make my decision and stand up, moving behind Ororo as she bends over to clean something on the ground and slapping her on the ass, making her yelp slightly, turning to me with a disapproving frown.

"Sir? Have I done something to displease you?"Ororo asks with a frown; despite her words, she stays bent over, her ass stuck out towards me, letting me grope it.

"I have an event to attend soon, and look at what you've gone and done with your teasing," I say, making her stand up. I take her hand and move it to the front of my jeans, resting it on my bulge. "How am I supposed to go for a professional interview with this?"

"I'm sorry, sir, I didn't mean to arouse you. D-do you require my service, sir?" Ororo asks as I take her arm and lead her to the bed, sitting down on it and undoing my belt.

"I do; what kind of maid would leave their lord so stressed after all?" I ask as I move my hand to the front of her dress, gripping the top of it and pulling it down, her large chocolate breasts bouncing free as I do.

"Very well, Sir. It wouldn't be very responsible of me to leave you more stressed than before I arrived, would it?" Ororo asks, biting her lip as she drops to her knees, pulling my jeans and boxers down to my ankles in a single, swift movement.

My dick springs free of its confines, slapping against her cheek as she bites her lip, her hot breath brushing against my shaft. After a moment of staring at it in thought, she leans forward, dragging her tongue along my shaft from the very base all the way to the tip. As she reaches the top, she places an almost chaste kiss on the tip of my cock before she parts her lips and takes the head between them, never breaking eye contact as she stares up at me.

+10 Obedience with Ororo Munroe [45/100]. Obeying you is becoming routine in her mind.

Stroking her long white hair, I let out a groan as her tongue starts to move rapidly, swirling around the tip and seemingly vibrating against my shaft, her lips forming a vacuum as she sucks on my cock with fervour.

Storm, one of the most famous X-Men, is on her knees sucking my cock. Damn, it is good to be me.

– Ororo Munroe (Storm) –

As she rapidly fellated Kuro, she stared up at him with the right amount of submissiveness. She was sucking a student's cock, her head bobbing as he wrapped his fingers into her locks and guided her along his admittedly very impressive shaft.

"Damn, I have to admit I wasn't expecting you to be so good at this," Kuro groaned as she felt herself smirk slightly around the shaft she was worshipping, bobbing her head faster as her hand gently massaging his hefty balls. As she told him last time, she was no prude.

Pulling back, she trapped his lubricated cock between her expansive dark-chocolate cleavage, moving her chest as she wrapped her tits around his cock.

"I'm glad my skills are pleasing for you, sir," Ororo murmured, her tone sultry and submissive as Kuro's cock twitched violently. He enjoyed the sight of such a powerful woman on her knees for him. "Do you like that? The feeling of my fat breasts squeezing down on your massive cock?"

"Damn, Ororo," Kuro groaned, making her smile with some pride. She hadn't lost her touch over the years. She leaned down and kissed the tip of his cock as it peaked out of her cleavage for just a second before she pulled back and took the entire thing back into her throat.

Frost was going to do everything in her power to get Kuro on her side and under her control. Kuro's main weakness was his love of women, and at Frost's school, he'd have no end of choices, an all-you-can-eat buffet of beautiful mutant women for his pleasure.

Maybe she put a little more effort into serving Kuro, reminding him of what he had here with them before he was whisked away by the Ice Queen herself, so as Kuro vocalised his enjoyment of her service, she smiled around the phallus she was pleasuring. It was not ideal, but it was a start.

– Kuro Tepes –

Ororo keeps her eyes locked with mine as she slowly worships my shaft, occasionally pulling away to place kisses and licks along my dick; she's definitely got experience on her knees.

She's effortlessly blowing Rogue and the others I've been with here out of the water. Don't get me wrong, Rogue is good (and she's getting better with every session), and her enthusiasm is wonderful, but there's something to be said about the pure skill of an older, experienced woman. This is why I don't get those guys who only want virgins; you're missing out on the joys of cougars.

Gripping the bedsheets, I lean back and enjoy the feeling of her 'service'. She's surprisingly enthusiastic about someone I'm technically blackmailing, with no negative affection for taking advantage of the situation at all. She really felt guilty about her part in my molestation, didn't she?

I definitely think she can be added to the trustworthy group, which, out of the adults here, literally just includes her. Xavier is too fond of his games, Logan is unpredictable, and Hank I don't know well enough. I like them all, but trust is another question entirely.

I think I could trust her if I worked on her obedience a bit more, but I also have to assume that Xavier will see anything she sees as he plucks these meetings out of her mind.

Stroking her hair, I smile down at her, feeling my climax approach; she clearly knows as well as she speeds up her bobbing, her tongue moving into overdrive, pushing me over the edge as I release my seed into her waiting mouth.

As rope after rope of cum fills her mouth, she simply holds it all there, her cheeks bulging slightly before she pulls back, my orgasm over. A small trail of cum leaks from her full mouth as she stares up at me, running down her chin and falling into her bare breasts.

The white cum looks wonderful, contrasting with her dark chocolate skin as it slowly drips down her breasts.

Realising she's waiting for an order, I chuckle.

"Swallow it," I order, watching her close her eyes, gulping several times before she opens her mouth and sticks out her tongue, displaying her clean mouth obediently. "Good girl," I say, stroking her hair again, feeling her push her head up into my hand slightly.

"Will that be all, sir?" Ororo asks as she stays on her knees, not covering her naked breasts. I reach down and grope one of them, raising an eyebrow as my finger brushes over her hard nipple, getting the slightest hint of blush from her as I discover the signs of her arousal.

"That will be all for now; thank you, Ororo," I say, checking my watch as I fix my clothes. As she stands up, she wipes the cum off her chest with a tissue and then fixes her dress back up, going about her business with an easy nonchalance over what just happened.

+5 Affection with Ororo Munroe [30/100] for not making this more awkward than it needs to be.

I want to bend her over and make her my bitch, but I shouldn't rush things. As it stands, I don't have time anyway.

Grabbing my Grimoire, I continue my studies, occasionally looking over at Ororo as I catch glimpses of chocolate skin out of the corner of my eyes. I'm fairly certain she isn't wearing any underwear this time, or if she is, it's a tiny pair. Her skirt keeps riding up enough to entice but not to reveal everything.

I could just go over and flip her skirt up to find out or look through her dress, but it's more entertaining to guess.

As Blink sends me a text asking if I'm ready to go, I put my Grimoire back in my inventory and stand up, sending a confirmation message back to her.

"I'll probably be back later, but I don't know how late it will be. Emma set up an interview to help me embrace my newfound fame," I explain to Ororo, getting her attention. As she goes to speak, she's interrupted by a flash of light.

Watching the purple portal form in the middle of the room, I pause for a moment to say goodbye before I toggle my nullification to allow Blink's portals to work for my head through it; it's a bit of a trip (no pun intended) as my vision is filled with purple swirling lights before I step out the other side, immediately reactivating the nullification while I look around the predictably expensive looking office.

"Welcome to Massachusetts Academy, Mr Tepes. I know you weren't supposed to arrive for a couple more days, but I thought this would be a good place to hold the interview," Emma says as she lounges in a leather chair that would probably cost more than an average person makes in a year.

I have only one question as I give her a long look. Where are her trousers?

Looking over her long, exposed legs, I pause, seeing the white thong and corset she has on. I know that's what she wore in the comic, but I wasn't expecting to see it in person.

"Oh, don't mind my state of dress. It was an old Hellfire tradition for the Kings to dress their Queens like this. It's also a tradition that died with the last two Kings when they were deposed. I got used to dressing like this by the time Shaw met his unfortunate end, so I like to wear it in the privacy of the school. My girls know better than to tell anyone, and I thought you'd enjoy it," Emma says calmly as Blink stands over in the corner of the room emotionlessly.

"Is it really private if there's a reporter coming? Not that I'm complaining, I definitely appreciate the view," I ask, making her chuckle.

"A reporter who wants to make it big and knows she has to do a good job here if she wants that to happen. She knows that if she does, I'll use Hellfire to make her career so much smoother; we keep most of the big reporters on our payroll anyway, and if she steps out of line? I'll destroy her career, her credibility and then her life. She knows just enough to know that crossing me will be her end. I could attend this interview utterly naked, and she wouldn't say a word," Emma says calmly, making me laugh slightly. "A less intelligent one might try to blackmail me, but I usually… handle those types before they can become a thorn in my side.

"Gotta flex those Hellfire muscles, huh? Well, that works for me, so how's this going to work?" I ask, making her lips twitch.

"You seem to enjoy flexing Hellfire's connections for yourself. Miss Watson is rather beautiful, isn't she?" Emma asks, making me nod with a smile. "For the interview, just be yourself, as cliche as it sounds. To be frank, you aren't skilled enough in deception to pull off a fake persona, not yet, anyway," Emma explains, and I can't disagree.

"Fair enough, I'm not exactly used to interviews or the press," I agree, and she just gives me a gentle smile.

"But I am; that's why I'm here. Don't worry about it; this interview isn't live, and any mistakes or slip-ups can be dealt with later. I'll personally teach you how to deal with Live Interviews during your time at the Academy; being a good actor can help in many situations, after all," Emma assures me, making me smile. She isn't wrong; having deception in my skill set could help me out a lot.

"Good to know. So, is there anything you want me to say or not say?" I ask, making her smile.

"No, not particularly. I'm using this as a chance to normalise people with powers. The public vaguely knows we exist, but we're still an oddity to them, freaks of nature. Having a normal schoolboy with powers should help show that we aren't all vigilantes or criminals. Getting the public to grow used to us being around and to see us as just everyday people like them will do more for coexistence than anything Xavier has pulled off. It'll be fun to rub it in his face," Emma says smugly.

"Won't Magneto's reputation counter that?" I ask, making her sigh.

"Yes, Erik truly does mean well for our race. He wants the mutant race to thrive, but his actions have tainted our reputation. He's always been an extremist at heart and doesn't believe that coexistence is a possibility. Fortunately, he's come up with a new plan that I actually approve of. He's currently building a city for mutant-kind and only mutant-kind. Erik will stay out of the way and keep out of the public eye while he does so, committing no more crimes so our reputation does not get any worse. Both Charles and I have spent a considerable amount of time convincing him to do so, and we had to make some concessions before he agreed," Emma explains with a sigh. "I respect his intelligence and power, but he can be a very frustrating man to deal with. If he had it his way, we'd already be at war with humanity, and that is a war we cannot wage while this crisis has made every death such a dangerous loss."

"Concessions?" I ask, making her frown with a nod.

"Mostly small things I can easily accept, but one of the agreements was for me to send some of the people I recruit to him instead of bringing them here. To make up for his own lack of recruitment," Emma admits. "Once word of your fertility reaches him, and it will, I suspect he'll want something similar from you. I suspect he will wish to send the female members of his Brotherhood to be bred. I won't agree with anything he requests involving you without your permission, but I expect he will start making such demands sooner rather than later. I still haven't worked out how he gathers his information on me and my faction after all," Emma admits, scowling slightly. "If he has a spy in my Academy, I haven't been able to find her even with my telepathy."

"So, are all three of you spying on each other?" I ask with a slight smirk, and she returns.

"Oh, absolutely. We are working towards a common cause, the survival and success of our race, but we don't trust each other. The simple fact is that we are all too different to truly get along. Erik is a violent fanatic who believes force is our only option, and Charles is a pacifistic idealist who would have us turn the other cheek and let humanity slap us again for the sake of 'peace'. I'm sure they'd tell you that I am a manipulative, cold-hearted bitch, blackmailing and bribing my way into power," Emma says with a smile before pausing. "They're correct, of course."

"You wouldn't be in charge of a shady group like Hellfire if you weren't. If you weren't a cold-hearted bitch, you'd have been eaten alive by now. I figured that out about ten seconds into meeting you." I say bluntly, making her laugh. "But you've been upfront with me, so I don't care who you're blackmailing, mindfucking or buying."

"Then you have more common sense than most. I realise words mean little coming from someone like me, but I truly do want what is best for you. Your survival and success are going to lead our race into a golden age, one that I intend to help guide the development of," Emma admits with a wide smile. She's very upfront about her ambition, which is why I don't mind it. "Angelica, you can come in now," Emma says out loud, but I'm almost certain it was just for show, as I have a feeling this room is sound-proofed. She just sent a telepathic message at the same time.

As the door opens, a girl slightly older than me with fiery red hair enters the office in a school uniform. It takes me a moment to work out why it looks off. It looks professional and proper, but the skirt is just a little bit too short, and the shirt and blouse are just a little bit too tight. It isn't technically revealing, but it certainly is enticing.

"Angelica, this is our guest of honour, Kuro Tepes. Kuro, meet Angelica Jones, who goes by Firestar. She's the leader of my own little counter to the Junior X-Men, my Hellions. She'll be escorting you to the reporter, and she'll be your guide when you start at my school properly on Friday." Emma introduces calmly, Angelica smiling at me and giving me a small wave. "As with every girl, Angelica knows to obey your requests within reason. After the interview, Blink will take you home. Angelica, stay outside the interview room and escort him back here when it's over," Emma orders, making Angelica nod immediately.

"Of course, Headmistress. Please, follow me, Kuro," Angelica says to me as she heads out of the room. Saying goodbye to Emma, I follow the attractive teen. She might not be Jean Grey or Mary-Jane, but that doesn't change the fact that she's an incredibly hot redhead who I barely know anything about.

Angelica Jones (Firestar)

Race: Human (Homo Superior)

Unique Powers: Microwave Energy Manipulation

Microwaves, huh? I have to admit, my Hellions knowledge is blurry and full of holes. It's not a part of the mutant comics I particularly followed that much.

"So, I have to admit… I'm curious. What's it like living the teenage boy's wet dream?" Angelica asks with a light smirk as we walk through the well-decorated hallways, making me turn to her with a raised eyebrow.

"I have no idea what you mean," I say innocently, getting a snort in return.

"Living the harem life? Having a small army of girls at your beck and call, ordered to do whatever you want? Right now, you could order me to do just about anything, and I'd have to do it; I've just met you, and you could fuck me right here in this corridor without so much as a word of complaint," Angelica trails off, her hand moving down and groping my crotch through my jeans. "This right here is worth more than my life; hell, it's worth more than any of our lives."

"And you don't mind that?" I ask as she lets go of my cock. Angelica chuckles darkly, giving me a grim smile.

"I did. I really didn't like it when it was first brought up, but the Headmistress is right. Our race is depending on you; out of all the mutants that have been tested, you alone hold the key to our survival. We're an endangered species, and you're the only chance we have at surviving to the next generation. If that means we have to make some sacrifices now, so be it. The survival of a race is more important than any one person's comfort, right?" Angelica explains, making me tilt my head in acknowledgement. I wonder how much of that is natural and how much is Emma making some nudges to her girls.

"So what if I'll have to have to have a few kids? The Headmistress has assured us that anyone who has one of your children will be well rewarded and looked after, hell we can even just pass the baby off when it's born if we want, just carrying it for nine months then ditching it. Not that I'm planning on doing that; if I'm going to be a mother, then I'll be a proper one. Plus, I want my kids to be the same race as me, and you're my only shot at that," Angelica explains as we start walking again. "The maids will help with looking after our children when we are busy. Really, the Headmistress has taken care of everything that could be a problem. Every real complaint she's made a plan for, except for the reluctance to obey a stranger, but pretty much everyone will listen to you. You might just have different levels of willingness. If you tell me to get on my knees and start sucking, I'll do it. I'll be a bit pissed off, but I'd do it. If you call me to your bedroom, I'll be there ready to get fucked, I just won't be happy about it. If it's all the same, though, I'd like to get to know you the normal way before we get to know each other the biblical way," Angelica says with a light grin, making me smirk. "I'd like to know more about the guy who's going to be taking my v-card and pumping some babies into me with his super-batter than just a name and a face."

"I'll see what I can do." I deadpan, making her laugh.

"If it's getting laid you're worried about, don't be. A lot of the girls aren't happy about this, but some of them are… let's just say enthusiastic about you. I'd lock your bedroom door at night if you don't want to walk up covered in a pile of naked girls wanting to get fucked. A lot of them see it as an honour and a privilege to bear the next generation of mutants; some just want the rewards that come with taking a baby. Did you know that getting knocked up by you will set any of us up for life? The Headmistress is offering some large rewards for anyone who you decide to breed," Angelica explains. Ah, that's one way to smooth the ruffled feathers. Have a baby in your teens, and never worry about money for the rest of your life. "A lot of girls also want to be mothers and want their kids to be mutants just like them, and while this might be a lot earlier than they planned, you're kinda the only choice they have. Plus, this is a boarding school full of girls who usually don't get to see a guy; we aren't supposed to 'consort' with the humans for our protection after all, which makes you the only available man around, and let's be honest, you're hot. If you get through your first day without getting a dozen offers, I'll be surprised." Angelica says with a roll of her eyes. "Just do me a favour and try not to knock any of my Hellions up too quickly; we don't have the replacement members lined up, and I can guarantee that Amara will offer herself up to you on day one. She's one of the ones who is convinced that baring your children is some great honour."

"I'll try my very best," I say as we reach a set of doors, making her snort. "And don't worry, I'm not planning on forcing any girl who is reluctant into my bed, so we can get to know each other before you decide if you want to go for a ride. You're right about one thing: getting laid isn't going to be a problem, so why force some unenthusiastic girl into my bed when I have a queue of willing and eager-to-please girls waiting their turn?"

+10 Affection with Angelica Jones [20/100] for convincing her that you won't force her into your bed before she's ready.

"Appreciate it, besides… we are going to be fucking; I'd just prefer we weren't literal strangers before I show you how hot I can be," Angelica flirts, giving me a grin as her hair ignites, the corridor becoming uncomfortably hot for a moment before she gives me a cocky smile. "This is it; the reporter is just in there. Let me know when you're done, and I'll take you back. I'll be right here," Angelica says, leaning against the wall and pulling her phone out.

Heading inside, I watch an attractive blonde woman jump to her feet, brushing herself to remove some imaginary dust as she watches me approach. She's dressed in a tight white shirt with professional black trousers, my eyes briefly lingering on her body before I behave myself.

"Kuro Tepes, in the flesh. My name is Christine Everhart, a reporter for WHiH World News. It's a pleasure to meet you; please take a seat," Christine says, sitting back down.

Looking at her, it takes me a moment to place her. She's the reporter who banged Tony Stark before he got grabbed. Didn't she work for Vanity Fair in the movies?

Sitting down, I watch her grab her notepad and start a recorder; a camera is set up on our side.

"The pleasure is mine. So, how exactly does this work? I can't say I have ever been interviewed before," I say, making her smile gently.

Well, except by the police. Past Kuro caused a lot of shit. I'm lucky I don't have a record. He might have been an asshole, but he was a careful one.

"You don't have to worry about anything; just answer the questions as naturally as you can. We'll start small," Christine promises as I lean back in my chair.

As she starts questioning me about my life and my past, I relax as I smoothly answer the questions; they're just dull things at the moment, like where I grew up, what about my school life, etcetera, etcetera.

The whole orphan thing clearly gets me some sympathy, but eventually, she hesitates before moving on to the real questions.

"So, I think the question on everyone's mind is rather clear. How did you do that? The video shows you opening some kind of portal, not to mention that you threw a heavy metal bin far further than a regular teenage boy would have been able to. So, how did you do it?" Christine asks, leaning forward slightly.

"That's simple: I'm a mutant, and like all mutants, I have an X-Gene power," I admit. "Along with that, my family has a history with the occult, if the name didn't give it away, and while I'm only just beginning to learn, I am a mage," I say, making her write something down.

"I already have the information on mutants. Miss Frost saw to that, but what exactly is your X-Gene?" Christine asks, making me smile.

"My X-Gene keeps me at Peak Condition, even without the need for training. My strength, speed, stamina and reaction times are just naturally above that of even an Olympic Athlete. It also improved my brain work as well. I just think and learn faster, to put it simply." I say, hiding my nullification. I'd rather not have everyone know I can disable powers if I can avoid it. It'll come out, but I'd like to get surprise some people with it before then.

"So, you're saying you could compete in the Olympics without every training for it?" Christine asks, jotting something down.

"I could, but I won't. It's hardly fair on the people who've trained their entire lives to have someone who occasionally spends a couple of hours in the gym turn up and beat them without earning it." I say with a chuckle. "I can admire the people who dedicate their entire lives to their craft, but I have no desire to compete in any sports. That life just isn't for me."

"That's honourable of you. So, magic? You're saying that magic is real?" Christine asks with a hint of doubt in her words.

This world has already seen the likes of the Fantastic Four and Captain America, but they were made by science, not magic.

"It is," I say with confidence, holding my hand up and creating a ball of softly growing mana which floats above my open palm. "I am a descendant of Vlad Tepes, Vlad the Impaler, Dracula. Magic is in my blood; fortunately, I didn't inherit his Vampirism, though. There are many branches of magic, but my particular branch of magic is simply called White Magic. It's primarily focused on healing, but it can also be used in other ways. As I said, I'm still just a novice. When I rescued Spider-Man, I barely knew a single spell. Fortunately, I was able to use the little magic I knew to heal his wounds," I explained, vanishing the ball and forming a light arrow form instead, directing it to cut my hand, making her gasp at the surprisingly deep cut on the back of my hand, a small trail of blood leaking down my hand.

Coating my other hand in healing magic, I run it over the cut, making her gasp again as the cut closes slowly, making sure to let the camera see my wounds heal.

"A true master of White Magic could cure just about any wound, cure cancer with a wave of their hands, restore lost limbs with a single muttered word; there are even records of the best of the best bringing back the dead or turning back time and de-ageing people. Me? I can make arrows of light and close wounds. Still, I'll get there eventually," I say with a self-deprecating laugh and a determined look.

"I see; I can't deny that that is impressive, but Dracula? Vampires?" Christine asks, doubt clear in her tone.

"Yes. He's real and still out there somewhere. I couldn't say how many vampires there are now, but I know at the very least that Dracula himself has survived into the modern age. The simple truth is that if they exist in mythology, it's probably best to just assume that there is some version of them that exists. Demons, Monsters, Supernatural beings? They all exist, even if they don't like to be found." I say. "There are even groups of monster hunters, not unlike the Fantastic Four, but working in the shadows to protect people from monsters like vampires who would prey on humans."

"Blowing the supernatural secret? That should be entertaining or perhaps utterly disastrous. That said, it could get some of my targets out of hiding. I will assist you, if only slightly," Death's voice echoes through my head, her tone sounding mildly amused at me, causing some trouble and ripping the veil of secrecy of the supernatural world.

As Christine starts bombarding me with questions about every seemingly supernatural thing she can think of, I answer to the best of my ability. I'm not revealing any locations, obviously, but using my Marvel knowledge to help out. I use my family as my excuse for knowing all this. Who's going to call me about it? They're dead, so no one can fact-check them.

I wonder how the Ancient One will take this?

"She knows; she believes it will strengthen Earth in the long run. I wouldn't care, but she believes the various magical factions could help defeat Thanos when he arrives, and that is something I can support. I have used my influence to make the people of Earth more accepting towards the possibility of Magic's existence. They might not like the idea of magic or monsters, but they will be easier to convince that you are telling the truth, with the exception of truly stubborn minds."

Wait, you can just do that?

"I am Death; I can do anything. It is only the restrictions the Creator placed upon me that are stopping me from killing everyone on that list in a nanosecond, wiping out each target in the blink of an eye," Death deadpans, making me pause.

Fair enough. Shiro really didn't want her interrupting the game, I guess.

"The fact that you are on a first-name basis with the Creator of the Multiverse is baffling," Death comments before I feel her presence leave.

Shiro is just the asshole who was such a shitty dad that his kid killed me in her rebellious phase to me. I hope that bitch suffered. I'm not a sadist; I find torture to be inefficient for the most part, but I really hope Lucille suffered.

"So, if you have all these powers, why did you run?" Christine asks, making me pause and rub my chin.

"Magic can't protect me from a bullet to the head, and there was a sniper. Besides, Spidey had a knife in his gut. Getting out of there and taking him with me seemed like the best choice. I don't really know how to fight, and Kraven seems dangerous. Even if I stuck around, he could have bled out while I fought Kraven. With Spider-Man and me gone, no one else was in danger. There weren't any civilians around, so just leaving Kraven and the sniper to the boys in blue just seemed like the smart thing to do," I explain; I'd have peaced out even with civilians, but let's not mention that. "I figured the police were on their way, and they're better equipped to deal with the mess than me."

"An intelligent decision. I'm not one of the people who blames heroes for the appearance of villains, but I won't deny that I think just leaving was the best thing you could have done. Kraven and his sniper ally may have escaped, but your quick thinking made sure that nobody died. That's all we have time for today, unfortunately. I have enough for this article that being said," Christine starts hesitating as I look at her. "I'm an outstanding reporter. Emma Frost is a very important woman and one of the most influential figures in the world. But the way she talks about you, it's like she thinks that you're even more important, even if she tried to hide it. When… whatever it is that makes you so important is happening breaks, I want to be the one to cover it." Christine says quickly, making me pause. "You don't have to answer now; wait till you see the article first. I just want to exchange numbers; if anything like this happens again, just keep me in mind," Christine asks.

"Shouldn't you talk to Emma about that?" I ask, making her scoff.

"Emma Frost is the boss, openly or not, of hundreds of reporters, if not more. She owns entire newspapers and some of the biggest news agencies in the world. I'd be one of countless working for her. No, I think going through you is the better choice; I know a good story when I see one, and Emma clearly holds you in high opinion. I don't know why, maybe I never will, but I think I like my chances better by offering my services to you directly," Christine says. "I'm open to negotiations; I scratch your back, you scratch mine. Here's my number; I'm just asking for you to keep me in mind when something newsworthy happens," Christine asks as I put it into my phone, sending her a quick text to give her mine, getting a small smile from her as I do.

"I don't even know if I'll get involved in anything newsworthy, to be perfectly honest," I admit, shrugging as she smiles.

"Oh, I have a sixth sense for these things. I'm sure you will," Christine says, giving me a small smile.

Master, entirely unrelated to this, I've unlocked another feature of your Observe to reveal the faction loyalties of anyone you Observe.

Oh, well, entirely unrelated to that, I think I should try it out.

Christine Everhart

Race: Human (Baseline)

Faction: S.H.I.E.L.D.

Unique Skills: Agent Training

There is no way in hell that Emma missed this. I'm sure Everhart wasn't with S.H.I.E.L.D. in the movies, and Tony Stark hasn't been missing that long for her to have been recruited. It's becoming increasingly clear that even if I do recognise someone, it doesn't mean a fucking thing.

"I was kinda planning on just letting Emma handle any PR stuff I needed. She's far better than me at this kind of thing," I say, seeing her smile fall ever-so-slightly. With Isis exposing her (thanks, honey), I can see why she'd want to minimise any interactions with Frost. Is this an attempt to get close to me or an attempt to infiltrate Hellfire?

"A reasonable decision, but I'm sure you can see the benefit of having your own pet reporter in your pocket?" Christine says, adjusting her position as my eyes are drawn lower to a flash of red that I spot between her legs. "It goes without saying that I'd be very grateful for any articles you saw fit to send my way, and I can be flexible on how I report on you."

"Flexible, huh?" I ask, giving her a slow once-over as she leans forward. From her current position, she is putting her cleavage on display, a smile on her lips as she bites the end of her pen briefly.

I can see the benefit of giving S.H.I.E.L.D. an in with me. Emma definitely knows, so Christine might be useful in feeding them what information I want them to know. The best way for me to achieve that is to let her think she'd successfully tempted me into accepting her offer.

"You're a smart man, Kuro. You know how these things go; skill alone isn't enough to get you anywhere in this world. It's all about your connections," Christine admits with a dark chuckle. "I don't know why Miss Frost is so interested in you, but I do know you're going to be far more important to me. Can you blame a girl for wanting to attach her name to a rising star?"

"What if your hunch doesn't pay off? You're risking irritating Miss Frost on nothing more than a hope that I'll be important?" I ask, making her nod.

"I'm not afraid of taking risks; I've always been the adventurous type. I think Miss Frost values you enough that she wouldn't take out her irritation on me as long as I'm in your good graces," Christine counters, giving me a look. "It's a risk, true, but I'm sure we can come up with an agreement that benefits us both and leaves us both satisfied."

"Consider me intrigued, but I think it's best for both of us that I don't keep Emma waiting, as tempted as I am to test your flexibility," I flirt, making her grin before she nods in agreement. "I'll think about it, but as much as Emma needs me, going behind her back on these things is… risky."

Dropping the 'need' in there gets her attention, and she nods.

"Oh, I completely understand," Christine says, rising to her feet as I do the same. "Miss Frost is not someone to be underestimated, but I can assure you that I'm worth her displeasure. Just keep me in mind, Mr Tepes; that's all I ask."

As she offers her hand, I take it, and she pulls me in with a smile as she plants her lips on mine, her body pressing against mine as my hands instinctively reach around and grope her backside. She breaks the kiss moments later, smiling at me.

"Something to remember me by and just a taste of what I can offer you," Christine says, her hand running across my chest. "Mhmm, I can feel what you mean about your X-Gene; I've seen athletes that you put to shame."

"Well, if you wanted to leave a lasting impression, you succeed," I joke, squeezing her ass as she gives me a smirk.

+5 Affection with Christine Everhart [10/100] for 'falling' for her charms.

"That's all I ask, Kuro. Now, I have an article to write and show to Miss Frost, followed by me editing it to suit her orders," Christine admits as we move apart, giving me a smile as she places a kiss on my cheek.

"And I have school tomorrow," I say calmly. "Goodbye, Miss Everhart, I'll give your offer some serious consideration," I say, making her smile as I turn and leave.

Heading out, Angelica perks up as she sees me.

"About time; this was way more boring than I expected," Angelica admits, putting away her phone. "Come on, it's better not to keep the Headmistress waiting," Angelica says, setting off immediately.

As we head back, Angelica tells me random bits of trivia and gossip about the school. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to take the knowledge that 'Princess Powerful' punched Roulette through a wall after she ate the other girl's dessert, but I guess it's good to know.

Heading back into the office, Emma sits up, smiling at me.

"Did you enjoy your interview?" Emma asks, making me give her a knowing look.

"You know about Miss Everhart's loyalties, don't you?" I ask, causing her to blink before she laughs.

"You worked out that she has ulterior motives? Impressive. I find it's better to give them enough rope to hang themselves with," Emma admits shamelessly. "I knew about her true bosses long before she came to me. I wanted to see if you'd notice and teach you to look for ulterior agendas if you failed."

Angelica looks between us, but Emma clearly trusts her to keep her mouth shut.

"S.H.I.E.L.D.," I agree, watching her eyebrow raise. "She's a secret agent, and you gave her an in with me.

"Ah, you even know who she works for? I have to admit, I'm impressed. How exactly did you figure that out? I figured she'd attempt to seduce you, but her goal is to gain more information on Hellfire. S.H.I.E.L.D. have long since suspected that we are not as benign as we appear," Emma admits. "Though, your little trick with letting it slip that I 'need' you was wonderfully done, my dear. A little bait to hook her in. It worked perfectly; she's hoping to use you to get more information on me and, by extension, Hellfire. She isn't a high-ranked agent, just an ambitious new recruit. A woman named Maria Hill started a program of hiring and training reporters to try and get agents who would look natural in digging for information. Christine was one of the early graduates. She was looking into Stark Industries before Stark's disappearance."

"I've got a new trick, a power that lets me study someone and learn their name, race, unique powers or skills and finally, which faction holds their loyalty," I explain, making her raise an eyebrow. "It's how I know Angelica has Microwave manipulations."

"Ooh, I can see some uses in that skill. You become more valuable with every passing day, Kuro," Emma praises, giving me an avarice-filled look.

+10 Affection with Emma Frost [55/100] for being so upfront with her and impressing her with Christine.

[Emma Frost: Telepathic Insight] – 50 Affection Reward

Emma's telepathic prowess has rubbed off on you in a minor way. You have a supernatural ability to understand people's intentions and motivations, giving you an edge in social interactions and negotiations. You can also detect lies with a high degree of accuracy.

Emma is challenging to read, but my new power thinks that she genuinely wants to see me grow. Angelica is more straightforward, and her intention is simply not to let Emma down.

"I was considering keeping Christine, using her to drip-feed information to S.H.I.E.L.D. since if this fails, they'll probably just try again with someone better," I admit, making her nod.

"I was thinking the same; I do love it when we are on the same wavelength. This has been a wonderful surprise, but I don't need Xavier throwing a tantrum because I kept you for too long," Emma says with a darkly amused smile. "We will get you home shortly, but first, I was hoping for you to do me a small favour," Emma says, making me raise an eyebrow in curiosity. "Xavier has his own sample from you, but I want to run my own tests. I do trust Xavier's data, but it pays to double and triple-check for things this important," Emma explains.

"That's fine, I don't mind," I agree readily. She's going to have more than enough 'samples' of me soon enough, anyway.

"Wonderful, feel free to pick one of us to assist," Emma offers quickly, gesturing at herself, Blink and Angelica. Angelica's smile falters for the briefest of moments before it returns, hiding her nerves at being volunteered. Blink didn't even blink, simply staring at me with an indifferent look.

But, honestly, is there any doubt who I want? Between two characters I barely know and Emma Frost herself? My eyes linger on her barely covered body, making her smirk. "I don't need to read your mind to see where this is going," Emma laughs. "So, it's me, is it?"

"I've wanted this since Xavier introduced me to you," I admit, making her smirk.

"Naturally, my dear, you simply have good taste," Emma agrees with a haughty look.

+5 Affection with Angelica Jones [25/100] for keeping your word and not rushing her.

"Firestar, Blink. Leave us, I don't perform with an audience," Emma orders with a wave of her hand.

"I'll see you Friday, Kuro. Have fun!" Angelica says with a grin and a wave as she leaves, but Blink simply remains still staring at us.

"Blink? Explain yourself; I gave you an order," Emma says harshly before her eyes widen, watching as Blink opens a portal in the middle of the room as another equally exposed woman walks through it.

As a set of cold eyes lock onto me, I don't need to use Observe to identify this particular person. Dressed almost identically to Emma but in black, she gives me a slow look before scoffing, long pale legs on display thanks to her outfit, a tiny black thong and a matching black leather corset.

Selene Gallio (The Black Queen)

Race: Human (Homo Superior/External Subspecies)

Faction: Herself/Hellfire

Unique Powers: Life-Force Absorption, Immortality, Master of Sorcerery, Superhuman Strength, Speed and Durability, Telekinesis, Telepathy, Darkforce Manipulation

Yeah, that's what I thought.

"Selene? Explain yourself," Emma orders, making the immortal ancient being turn her glare towards Emma before she simply clicks her fingers. The ground beneath my feet vanishes, sending me plummeting through a portal. I hear Emma's shout in the distance as I land on a cold stone.

Fuck, magic. I can't nullify magic yet, because I wasn't expecting fucking Selene to show up so quickly, even if I was starting to get involved with Hellfire.

Getting up, I see her standing in the room, inches away from me, as she stares me down with cold eyes.

"Agent of Death, we must speak," Selene says coldly, staring into my eyes for a moment.

Taking a moment, I contemplate how fucked I am. I have nowhere near the skills needed to battle her, after all, and I'm guessing she knows she's on the list, given the title she called me by.

"And what does the Black Queen of Hellfire want with little old me?" I ask, making her take a deep sigh before she drops to one knee.

"My Lord, I offer you my obedience and loyalty to you and your own Mistress. Spare my life, and I will put all my powers and resources at your disposal." Selene says, bowing her head.

What.

"Well... isn't that interesting?" Death adds, her voice coloured with interest.

No really. What.

- Bonus Scene - Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) -

"You have something to report?" Magneto asked, looking at the large screen before him as the familiar blue face of his most reliable spy appeared on it. At his question, Mystique nodded slowly, visibly deciding how to start.

"Yes, I successfully managed to infiltrate Xavier's Mansion while he was out and gathered some information on the new students there. One of them, a girl named Sooraya Qadir, is a rather powerful mutant who is capable of transforming herself into a powerful sandstorm, but she's not the important one. Kuro Tepes is the one you need to hear about," Mystique said bluntly.

As he raised a brow curiously, he thought back to the boy he had almost managed to recruit; aside from his disregard for the violence Sabretooth displayed, he couldn't think of anything about him that would get Mystique's attention.

"And what exactly do I need to hear about him?" Magneto asked; he had a suspicion that Kuro's mutant power was something powerful, but he lacked the data to confirm it. "We have met, but the boy did not seem particularly impressive beyond possessing a strong stomach."

Mystique smirked as he paused; she was proud about finding this out. It was what she always did when she found out something important.

"His power is nullification; he can disable any mutant power around him, which is obviously powerful, but that's not why Xavier is treating him like the first coming of Mutant Jesus. Kuro is fertile; both Beast and Susan Storm have confirmed it," Mystique explained, making his eyes widen briefly as his mind raced.

The plague which had affected mutant-kind had been a horrifying discovery which had all but destroyed his plans of a world run by Mutants; it would be pointless if they would all die out in a few generations, changing his plans as he instead prioritised the survival of the mutant race.

They must first survive before they could thrive.

That was why he was building his city: to protect as many mutants as possible from the deprivations of humanity. First, he had to deal with the inhabitants of this so-called Savage Land, to tame it for his people, but that was proving a very minor hiccup for him.

Kuro couldn't single-handedly repopulate the race; inbreeding would become a problem if the entire next generation had the same father unless they found a way to fix the issues that came with such inbreeding, something to consider.

Despite that, Kuro still represented their best hope. A way to increase their depleting numbers.

"I understand. For now, focus your efforts on him. Do not attempt to kidnap or harm him; I will not risk the future of the mutant race in any way. Learn everything there is to learn about him; for now, we will allow Charles and the Frost woman to lay the foundations, but his place is with us. I don't want to bring him here until we have finished securing this place anyway." Magneto remarked, a slow smile growing on his face as he thought deeply.

"He is lovers with my Rogue. I can impersonate her perfectly; once they make the plunge, I plan to take her place one night to get a sample of our own," Mystique explained, making Magneto nod. A wise decision; he was glad she understood the importance of this.
