Chapter 521: Michelle Lewis' question…

(February 25. Lewis Residence. Olive Street. Royal Woods Michigan.)

It is night time, and Michelle Lewis is getting herself ready for another date with Amanda Bright. She looks to herself in the mirror and she adjusts her outfit and double checks if she is alright, and then she takes a moment to calm down. 'Thank you Leni Loud for helping me pick this out.'

Michelle's Attire: A Crimson Red Blouse with white skirt, red bow on the right strap of the attire and black heeled shoes. She's also wearing make-up.

Michelle seems nervous and not just because of the date with her girlfriend. 'You have been on many dates with her and even asked her to be your girlfriend. I can handle this next one.'

Michelle Lewis then leaves her bedroom and she goes down the stairs. She spots her two kids, Lincoln and Luna in the living room and watching some TV. They then spot Michelle and smile. "Hey mom. Are you ready for your date tonight?" asked Lincoln.

Michelle nods. "Yeah, I am. This is getting me kinda nervous again but I got this."

Lincoln and Luna can tell that something was up and then Luna asks. "Are you going to ask Amanda something special?" deep down they feel like it is. But they don't know that it's about something else.

Michelle smiles and nods. "Yeah. It is something special for all of us." This surprises Lincoln and Luna and now they have a different imagination on what this might be.

'Oh my god! Mom is gonna ask Amanda Bright to marry her tonight?! Wow!' they watch as Michelle leaves the house and she goes into her car to go to where Amanda is. Both siblings are worries of the outcome, but are also excited to know what will happen next.

(Jean-Juan's French-Mex Fusion Restaurant.)

We now see both Michelle Lewis and Amanda Bright now sitting at the table that Amanda had reserved for them for this evening, and even she is dressed in something nice.

Amanda's attire: dark blue blouse with a white skirt and black leggings, a white rose on the left strap of the attire and black heeled shoes. She's also wearing make up.

The duo go through the menus and they have chosen what they wanna eat. Amanda then looks to Michelle. "Michelle, the sole reason why I made this setup for our date is because I kinda had this feeling that you got something else special in mind. Something serious."

Michelle Lewis blushes and she explains. "Sorry. But that one is going to be a surprise." They're food shows up and they enjoy their meals, Michelle is happy that this is all going so well.

But Amanda can tell that something is going on. 'What the heck are you planning Michelle Lewis? There are several things that could be made and done for this special date night between us. But what?'

(Ketcham Park.)

This is where they are now. The park is open tonight and some other folks are strolling around the park and it feels so romantic. Amanda Bright and Michelle Lewis are walking by the pond and talking about what had happened the other day. "So, Leni has met Kurt Logann back when they were kids? Whoa. I did not see that one coming " replied Amanda.

Michelle nods. "Yeah. It's all dang true. Leni Loud did meet Kurt Logann long ago and I guess they were good friends and yet there is something else Leni is not telling us. I think they had a lot of fun during that time. The only thing Leni has concerns about is that if Kurt Logann still remembers her."

Amanda agrees. "Sounds concerning. The only way for this to be seen that he remembers her is that they meet each other face-to-face. That would have to be around the time Kurt Logann is at the race… or when he arrives into town soon, same with Bobbie Fletcher."

Michelle nods. "That's something I need to inform Leni about. It could help her with this goal." Then she calms down and speaks. "Amanda. There is something important I wanna ask you…"

They stop walking and Amanda looks to Michelle and they hold hands. "What is it?" but there's something else in her thoughts. 'Oh my god! Is Michelle going to ask me to marry her?!'

Michelle then takes a deep and calming breath. "Amanda…" Amanda's eyes turn to hearts. "Will you…"

Amanda then yells. "Yes! I will marry you!"

The moment remains silent and it turns awkward, even the crickets stopped chirping and Michelle is shocked, confused and she continues. "…Move in with us?"

Amanda remains silent and with the same smile and she's blushing and sweating a little. "Huh? What?"

Michelle then speaks and looks confused and is blushing. "I was gonna ask if you wanted to move in with us. Did you think this was a marriage proposal?"

Amanda is now red with embarrassment and her mind is beating her senseless realizing her mistake. "Oh… Oh wow. I guess my mind was in… Fantasy Land." She then calms down and she looks Michelle in the eyes. "Yes. Yes I will move in with you and the kids."

Michelle is happy to hear this. "We always see you as someone we care for a lot. The kids see you as another mother whom they look up to and wanna spend a lot of time with and I love you with all my heart, and I always will.

Amanda is touched hearing this and it truly warms her heart with love and she kisses Michelle and she kisses her back. They then depart from the kiss. "And I love you too. I will need to plan on when I move in and I look forward to it." They share another kiss and continue their stroll.

But deep within the mind of Amanda, she feels embarrassed. 'Why did I yell yes and thought it was a wedding proposal?! I should've known she'd ask something else! Oh my god, thankfully nobody heard that!' They don't even notice Liam and Tabby are there and heard everything and both are so confused by what just happened.

(Later.)

Michelle opens the door and goes into the house. But then she's hugged by her kids and she is surprised by this. "Whoa. Whoa. Kids calm down. What's gotten into you two?"

They depart from the hug and Lincoln asks. "Did she say yes?" Michelle nods, she is about to continue.

Luna then asks. "So, what you have planned worked?" Michelle chuckles and she nods, and she's about to say something.

But Lincoln and Luna ask. "Amanda Bright is going to be married to you soon?"

Michelle is confused and realizes what is happening. "No. No we're not getting married. You guys thought I was going to ask her for her hand in marriage? I asked if she wanted to move in with us."

Lincoln and Luna realize the truth and now they feel embarrassed. Michelle chuckles and she hugs them. "Hey if it makes you both feel better. Amanda yelled yes for marriage before I even finished asking." Lincoln and Luna now see… they now have a lot in common with Amanda Bright. On the plus side, she too thought the same thing.

A/N: Yup, that happened and it's gonna be something they will never ever forget, but on the plus side is that Amanda Bright will move into their home, soon. I made some changes, to make it kinda silly and super awkward. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
