Over the weekend things escalated to a point beyond return, mom and Dad banned her from eating in the kitchen saying that Lana would have to eat in the living room least her bad luck rubbed off on her parents or siblings...

Lana tried to come clean about her lie, but it was no use. No one in the family believed her, and it was getting worse by the day.

During family movie night, Lana was heartbroken when she got turned away. Her mother gave Lana a sympathetic smile: "We can't risk having something happen; I'm sorry, sweetie."

Her siblings had all chimed in, exclaiming that Lana would bring trouble and doom if she were to join them. Lana couldn't believe how things had turned out; somehow everything had gotten worse, and now her family wanted nothing to do with her.

What happened next caught her off guard, when Lana went upstairs only to find that her door had been boarded shut. Had they kicked her out of her own room?

Feeling dejected Lana walked past her family, who were still enjoying the movie. She slipped out the back door and out into the backyard.

While watching the movie, Lynn Jr. couldn't help but feel a nagging feeling that they were going too far with Lana. The tomboy looked miserable and it was getting worse every day.

Lynn Jr. made eye contact with her mom and dad. "Are you sure we should keep this joke going? It's getting kind of mean."

Rita Loud gave Lynn a sympathetic look. "I know it's hard, dear. We have to teach Lana a lesson for lying."

Lynn continued to watch the movie, but she had an unsettling feeling that something bad was about to happen...

Lana wandered around outside, the sounds of nature soothing her.

The dumpster was filled to the brim with her clothing and tools, but what truly broke Lana was the sight of her terrariums empty next to the trash. All of Lana's reptiles were gone, even her beloved Hopps hadn't been spared.

Dropping to her knees Lana started sobbing bitterly, why did they have to thro away her babies? Lana was the guilty one not her pets.

Something broke in Lana that night, leaving her with a hollow feeling. They weren't her family anymore; they made it more than clear that Lana wasn't welcome and throwing her pets away was the very last straw...

Every family has its rough patches; it's inevitable. Something goes awry, people get mad at each other, they have disagreements or they fight...but in the end, they forgive each other and move on with life...

That's what Lincoln believed, in a family as large as theirs, disagreements or differing opinions were common, but they worked together as a family because family members stuck together.

In his current mental state, Lincoln thought it was ironic. Only after Lana ran away did they put that ridiculous bad luck bullshit behind them.

It was all a stupid joke, they were supposed to teach Lana the value of supporting family and being honest...

Everyone knew she wasn't bad luck but, Lola had the idea to teach Lana a lesson for faking being bad luck. Lincoln had been on the fence about the plan while Lynn Jr had been flat out against it.

All the loud kids were gathered in the living room, the atmosphere was grim and heavy. Earlier that day the louds searched high and low for their missing sister and, along with several of their close family and friends but to no avail.

It was nearly six thirty, no one dared to speak, even Luan was silent. The police were looking for Lana as a runaway.

After speaking with the police, both Rita and Lynn Sr were thoroughly chastised for waiting so long to report Lana's disappearance.

It didn't help that no one noticed that Lana was missing until the morning.

Lincoln hung his head in shame. They could hear pretty much everything being said in the other room. It was hard to listen to people talking down to their mother and father. They didn't know that Lana would run away...

The whole situation was stupid to begin with, Lincoln would be more upset with Lola, but she was the most devastated when they found out Lana was missing.

Lynn was sitting on the couch next to Leni, and Luan. The athletic pre-teen's eyes were swollen and bloodshot. Her face was tear-stained and twisted into a mask of misery.

Leni smiled and attempted to console Lynn, but it was futile. The brunette remained silent, refusing any form of comfort.

Across the room, Lori was pacing back and forth anxiously; the younger kids started whispering among themselves.

"Do you think we'll be able to find Lana?" Luan asked Leni from across the couch.

Lola looked up.at her older sisters, Normally Lola would have been more selective with seating, but the beauty queen was too worried about Lana to care about sitting on the floor.

Lisa answered before Lola could speak however, "The firsht fourty eight hoursh are critical because that's typically when investigators have the best chance of following up on any leads, it's well pasht that point and our parental units are just now notifying the police. Itsh unlikely due to the time frame..."

Lola struggled to get off the floor and was right in Lisa's face, "SHUT UP!"!

Everyone's attention was now firmly focused on both Lisa and Lola. The beauty queen was flushed and panting heavily, but Lisa was unfazed by her older sister's threatening pose.

" Can't handle, a little realishim? I will not pander or kish your assh Lola, I'm speaking facts plain and shimple!", Lisa hissing the words with her contempt clearly visible.

Luan jumped up and tried to pull Lola away from Lisa, but she was pushed back onto the couch.

Lori snapped back to reality when she saw Luan being pushed onto the couch. "CUT IT OUT NOW!" she yelled.

Lola recoiled with a look of astonishment. "What about all the garbage she's spewing?"

Lisa snorted, " The truth ish painful, but I'll let you come to that realishation on your own time."

Lisa's words from earlier kept repeating in Lynn Jr's head, it felt like a gut punch...why did everything have to go so wrong? Why didn't she listen to her gut?

Leni was now crying softly at first but slowly her sobs became audible, " why didn't we just let her in the house...She wanted to come inside and we wouldn't let her...what type of family does that make us"!

Everyone in the room visibly flinched, feeling a mixture of shame and guilt. What they had done was beyond terrible; the consequences were just beginning to settle in...
