Savannah caverns, Japari park
Finally reaching an old sewer system that has become a shelter for Friends. It's true origins lost to time. They are now known as the Savannah caverns. One of a handful of remains of what was once Japari Park remain. With the knowledge of its origins lost to time. Inside the caverns a sort of town was formed where numerous Friends lived in. Such as Alpaca and Crested Ibis cooking food, Domestig dog keeping guard with a helmet and a partisan with a sandstar blade, and Humbold penguin kneeling over in the streets with a sign that reads. Repent! The second season has come! Alongside Wooser who is out cold with several syringes next to him and a large and empty bottle of heroin and a coked up Bubsy the bobcat begging for change. Amongst all that the ZAFT trio alongside their guides head thru the passageways until they reach the town center where they are flagged by a middle aged male near human with a bushy beard, a shaved bald head, and a muscular frame. With the only thing separating him from a normal man is his red beard with brow streaks and glowing gold eyes wearing a sleeveless white top, and black cargo pants with both articles of clothing having red vine accents on them. "Serval! Caracal! My cats! So, you found more survivors huh." Caracal nods and introduces the group. "Wakaba meet Kira, Athrun, and Shinn. Kira, Athrun, and Shinn meet Wakaba. "A human?" Athrun questions to which Wakaba explains. "Nope, I'm a Kemuri. See that green tree over there?" Pointing out to a large tree in the center of the plaza with a glowing green trunk and strange leaves that could best be described as wire-frames. Surrounded by an intricately made and well kept water fountain. "My kind was born from those." The ZAFT trio is stuck trying to process what Wakaba said as he then asked what happened to Kururun. To which Caracal informed of his death with Serval butting in and telling Wakaba about what happened.
"I see, so these guys were capable of killing combatmen without saltwater." "They are Friends who are good at killing Wakaba!" Serval cuts in and pulls Serval away while a curious Shinn asks. "Saltwater? Why not fire, so I can burn them all with the cleansing flame?" Wakaba ponders for a while and replies. "Good question actually. Our kind mostly concerns itself I believe that the professors might know about it. They've been around for a very long time. Thousands of cycles, to the point where they are considered the oldest beings in the world." "So where are they located?" Athrun asked as Kira and Shinn are dragged off in the background by Baby Friends. Who are Friends born from small animals who are exposed to sandstar. The cubs, a gorilla, an elephant, a saltwater crocodile, a dragon, and an orangutan, Who drag the two off and start chucking them around in a game of catch.
Wakaba explained the situation. "The professors live in the Japari library to the south. Located in the depths of the Quiz forest. A maze of a forest that must be navigated in order to enter." A concerned Athrun asks. "So what kind of dangerous journey are we headed to?" "Don't worry." Wakaba noted. "All you need to do is take the Kyushu line to the forest." Athrun jumps backwards in shock at hearing the name. "Kyushu? As in the ORB prefecture? Is this Earth?" Wakaba acknowledges that he doesn't know. "As far as we all know our world began existing because of the sandstar. That's why should go to the library since it is rumored that ancient historical records are hidden there. Long illegible as they are in a forgotten language." "What language is that?" "Japanese." Athrun reacts in confusion over it all and looks to his friends only to find them being rag-dolled by children with Caracal trying to both get the kids to stop and stop Serval from joining in. "Is Serval even alright in the head?" "Good question." Athrun and Wakaba then look on at the chaos before joining in to break it up.
After Kira and a dizzy Shinn are brought to safety. Wakaba remarks that Kyururu is nowhere to be seen. To which Caracal explains that he died after being crushed by the giant rock that the ZAFT trio was riding. Wakaba simply comments that nothing of value was lost and points the group to the nearby inn.
Outside in the grasslands two other Friends are patrolling the area. "Look Fennec! A suspicious thing!" Arai-san a raccoon friend wearing a lavender shirt and black skirt and bow. With a very old battered safari hat that is about to fall apart. She and Fennec who is well a Fennec fox friend with a pink shirt with a white skirt and bow with a perpetually droopy and stoned expression. Notice the crashed pod that the trio were using. "Looks like a giant rock Arai-san. One with spaghetti sauce smeared on it." As she points out the bloody remains of Kyururun. Raccoon then heads to the pool of blood, dips her finger on it and sucks on it. "How does it taste Arai-san?" "Salty..." The duo are interrupted by a droning roar that shook the grasslands. Followed by earth shaking series of stomps. The Friends take cover and hide as a massive one eyed monstrosity with four spindly legs that can somehow carry a thirty foot tall coal colored Cellien that is scanning the area only to notice a pair of birds which the Cellien annihilates with his eye mounted laser. A beam so fast and hot that it utterly disintegrates the grass not giving it time to ignite before ending on a colossal explosion in the distance. Followed by a war party of combatmen. Wielding traditional Zulu spears and shields. All tipped with black crystals with the shape and consistency of obsidian.
"Crap! It's the Big Dog!" Arai-san yells in a panic. Something that Cellien noticed as Big Dog fired a beam towards the pod. Causing it to explode as the hunting party moved along. And after leaving Racoon and Fennec both get up. Even though they are injured due to the explosion. With Racoon having the worst injuries since she took the brunt of the blast to save Fennec who is in a panic now. Trying to get up only to find herself with a broken leg. "We need to get back. Otherwise Arai-san will."
Chapter 4: Bounty hunters
Six months have passed since the universe was returned to normal thanks to the actions of the Resistance. Still the scars of Spiral island remain. With many having died and coming back to life. After these events the IFS has began its oppressive crackdown in order to end any opposition to their rule. This has led to an attempt at an united separatist movement to either stop or secede from the IFS. It is the year Third history 8932. The three galaxies that were once united under the banner of liberation from evil have now become the oppressors. Civil war is threatening to tear worlds apart. And the belief that the empire will collapse is common.
Mar 20 t.h. 8932, Starpatrol, Outer space
Almost a month had passed since the Burial fleet was decapitated. As the news spread across the cosmos the Separatist alliance quickly gained notoriety as plans for open revolution are tossed around the Starpatrol tries to leave Pluto. Going out of warp around the planets orbit to avoid the drone Swarms which are patrolling the orbital blockade alongside their mothership a Wicked class carrier. A carrier famous for its long square nose with four fire linked guns and a beam blade emitter. Large heavily armored semi-circular domes that serve as massive cavernous hangars and a very long communications antenna designed to coordinate the many craft inside. In this case 7,500 Swarms all in autopilot and in constant patrol. This specific craft has a secondary antenna designed to transmit energy to recharge the drones in order to ensure near perpetual non-stop patrols.
Inside the ship Gekkou Jo who has more or less forced herself into the crew of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy is looking at the ships hangar where the blue haired dragonkin who now wears a cyan and white spacesuit under the poncho. looks at the craft that are inside. Aside from the original Tornado 2. There is a VK-1 Nutcracker that was stolen and repurposed by the Separatists. This one known as the Tails custom. Which was repainted blue and orange and had its weapons changed with the inbuilt missiles replaces with blasters with the one of the top mounted missile launchers with a large auto-cannon and the front mounted tri-cannon was replaced with a standard blaster with a grenade launcher underslug. Five Kayter Joule's. Personal walker transports whose core unit, basically the cockpit. With a walker option being a bipedal walker, and the hover option being a winged speeder bike. A small squad of Grayriser drones. Gravrisers that were scavenged from wrecked Cycles cult equipment and repurposed by Gun, Changing its color to a gunmetal coloration with red and yellow. And replacing its Circles eye with twin eyes and communication antenna. Making these drones an overall improvement from the original.
And finally the Kanzaki heavy industries SFK-A88: Temjin. A spiricle fighter made to aid Team Sonic as they went on their mission. A striker is a mecha not unlike a Waltzer but smaller, lighter, and more agile at 7 meters compared to a standard Waltzer's 16 meters, And possessing retractable heel mounted wheels. Similar to the Mugen it is a white and blue machine lacking a head unit instead having its sensors and cameras were located in the chest alongside the cockpit which is accessed from the machines top. It's elongated chest not only serve to store the cockpit and internals and hard points in the back. Next to it are three backpacks stored in racks. The SAK-T46: Raijin pack, a high speed and agility add-on which allows a spiricle striker extended flight. The SAK-T93: Enjin is an artillery pack with two insanely huge guns being 1.5 times the height of the Temjin. And the Suijin who wields a two handed katana that is just as big and possesses a rotating beam shield that fires a grappling hook.
"So, what do you think?" Tails comments, Who is now using a spacesuit as well. An orange and white bodysuit with green energy lines along its wrists, socks, and a glowing green gem in the chest. Most of the suit is orange with the middle being white and exposing his two tails before pressing a button in his right wrist which retracts the entire suit into his Wonderhand. Gekkou wonders why a Mobian needs a spacesuit. Only for Tails to respond in a very deadpan manner. "That's ridiculous. Furries can't survive in space."
From Mar 4 to Mar 19
While the Starpatrol was being readied and the town was being reconstructed... Again. Something that two of the engineers complain about. "Seriously would it kill these people to install shield generators?!" "I hear that the Reibai robots are repurposing the towers into shield generators." "I guess Mobius is finally catching up to the universe. Maybe they'll finally do something about Eggman as well." A third worker joined in and noted that everyone is saying that Eggman is dead. "Bullshit." One of the other workers blurted out. As they head back to work a medical team in rushing Kon into the emergency medical ward. With Monkey Khan and Gemerl in hot pursuit.
After being given emergency treatment. Kon is placed on a CR chamber which is visited by both Gekkou, Touka, and Princess Sally. Khan and Gemerl are outside in the hall having a conversation. "Now that were back, maybe you should consider visiting Cream." Gemerls looks away from his friend. Clearly upset at himself. Khan merely sighs in resignation and suggests that he should go see Cream now that they have the chance before heading off to a series of vending machine buy drinks. "Let's see... Coke, Pepsi, 7-UP, Campa Cola, E-Tanks, Soylent Cola, Wily Beer, Dracula's blood drinks, Slurm, Several kinds of juice, Mountain water..." Putting a 200 Meseta into the machine and ordering a Banana Slamma. A type of carbonated banana juice for himself. And an E-Tank for Gemerl. A liquid energen drink for robots which can be poisonous to some organics. But in the current era where everyone is cybernetically and or biologically enhanced in some way. It comes off as a very foul tasting drink that comes across as a mix between gasoline and broken shards of glass.
Khan looks at Gemerl, who downs the can in one gulp surprising the Monkey King who remarks. "I'm surprised that a badnik can eat and drink like an organic." Gemerl throws the can into the trash and remarks. "I'm not a badnik. I'm a Gizoid. And I needed a way to maintain energy since there were no Chaos emeralds back then. Eggman used power stones and later chaos drives as a power source. And then Tails swapped it for a fusion reactor system."
A fusion reactor is a byproduct of the original Reibai research into carbonization. Designed to solve the problem of limited battery times in robots as at the time neither fusion drive engines and later mana engines weren't small enough to be placed inside a six foot or shorter machine. Of course the technology is still used even now for the purpose of quality of life.
Anyways, after several more minutes of prodding the monkey king convinces Gemerl to go see Cream. Of course the latter drags the former there with him to Green Hills outskirts where a small farming community has made its home. With the duo riding on walkers. Across the way they find several the bodies of IFS survivors who have been lynched a while ago. Several alien races that were hung to death with their bodies having nearly decayed into bones. Khan looks at the bodies with unease while Gemerl is indifferent to the carnage. The two enter the community and head to Vanilla's house. The mobians who live there are all living their lives. Whether farming, ranching, or trading. With many of them greeting the traveling duo while Gemerl waves back. "You sure are popular." "Hometown hero Ken." The black Gizoid boasts to Khan, with the name Ken becoming Gemerl's sort of nickname for the monkey king. The duo finally reach Vanilla's house where the rabbit mom was sweeping the veranda by herself as she greets the duo. "Gemerl I didn't think you would be back." "We ran into complications. Besides the Shuyin temple is finished. Whatever wasn't blown up has been long raided by scavengers. At the very least we gave the dead a proper funeral." Vanilla looks on with sadness as she gives her condolences to the two. Monkey Khan then broke the atmosphere. "It's fine. So where is miss Cream?" Vanilla leads them to her room that she still refuses to leave. Vanilla with worry and concern tells her daughter that she is going to open the door. Getting nothing as the three enter a dark and dreary location. Monkey Khan is horrified at the sight. He heard of Chaos priestesses. Maidens that interpret the will of the Chaos force and their bond with the Chao. And what happens when said bond is broken. But even then this is too much.
Gemerl tries to get Cream's attention only to fail multiple times. With methods that include ice cream, poorly attempted juggling, and playing Amazing grace on a bagpipe. Which only upset everyone else as they kicked him out of the room. Monkey Khan looks on and questions. "Could something be done in Starfall island?" Something that makes Vanilla take note. "You mean the islands above Sky Sanctuary? But isn't that an old story?" Khan merely noted. "So were Chaos, Project Shadow, and Solaris. Knuckles was even commenting that back on Spiral island he saw the ruins of Nocturne." Both mother and robot continue talking as unbeknownst to them a spark of life returned to Cream's eyes.
Later on as the Starpatrol is being loaded up with supplies for the flight. We turn to a specific large crate. "Dammit Sayaka! What made you think this would work?!" "Because Kyoko. We are ass deep in enemy territory. If we try to escape the Separatists will kill us. If we head back to the Capitol they will kill us. And if Homura, or Kagemusha as she calls herself now. And her robot army catches us. We're gonna wish we were dead!" Kyoko groans to herself as memories of her time in Melenge prison where she was tortured and experimented on. Sayaka then continued. "The best we can do now is lay low. Get back home. And hide there until the heat dies down." "I hope the children are alright..." A concerned Kyoko points out.
At the same time Merlina is helping the carrying of her personal package alongside two other guards. "So miss Merlina this is some kind of magical sword?" "Yes lieutenant, the Caliburn. I came to deliver it originally. But Charles got me to work on the chili dog stand." The second soldier, a private in the guard comments that he likes the chili dogs in the store. With Merlina inwardly questioning why everyone in town likes them so much.
During that time Kon woke up from his injuries. Finding himself in a bed inside of the castle's medbay. Clasping his bandaged head he wonders how he got here. And as he looked around the room. Wondered where the beautiful nurses are. As that happens Ahiru who is wearing a white doctors coat that is too big for her. Steps into the room and smiles at Kon. "You're alive... When Gekkou talked about how the Mikazuki was destroyed. We thought you were dead." Kon looks at his body and remarks. "My special ability involves creating a defensive shell. But it was pushed to the limit. Honestly its as if the author forgot I wasn't supposed to die." Still what are you doing here Duck?" "Well I am a doctor." Kon pouts and complains that he would have rather met a big breasted blonde nurse. Which gets him a slap in the face for his troubles. "And I see that you're in perfect health! Get out." After some screaming and spitting out a molar. Kon gets caught up on what happened in Mobius, The Cycles cult, Eggman's death, the Spiral island incident, and the Burial fleet attacks. "So you, Fakir, and that Touka girl are bow living here?" Kon notes as his dog ears twitch. "And what about that Drosselmyer fella?" "Monika is following up some leads but Mytho's kingdom seems to be hidden away in dimensional space. For now we're staying here so I can get a proper medical license." "I see, still who would have thought that clumsy little Duck would be working as a medical professional?" Kon then has a hearty laugh at it all. "As for me I'm going back to space. So I can throttle the life out of that traitor Ash!" Ahiru smiles back commenting. "I'm sure Touka would love that."
Touka then slides into the room screaming. "Hey doggie! If you're going into space, then i've got an offer for you!" Kon just stares at her former enemy in distrust when Sally shows up next with Nicole pushing away Touka much to her annoyance. Outside Monika and Fakir are watching on. With the two having caught up on all that happened and the former recalling all of the Sumeragi generals except Kickback who is scouting the perimeter of the city.
The Starpatrol again
The bridge of the Starpatrol is your standard spaceship bridge. Containing seats for the entire current crew. With Kon serving as the pilot now. The seats and terminals are IFS standard which means that they can be adjusted for multiple species and biology by manipulating the datamaterial components which compose it. With Kon's being modified with a larger and wider chair. And Knuckles who is engineering once again. His chair is shorter to accompany the mobians smaller size. With your average mobian being in the upper 3 feet tall and lower 4. Compared to Anim's from the Federation who are all around the five to six foot radius. With Kon being an outlier at eight feet tall. Knuckles is fuming about having to wait several days to warp again before being chided by Kon who once more tells the guardian about avoiding the planetary blockade. And that they should just be grateful that due to the destruction of the Burial fleet the remaining forces have been stretched thin.
Somic was exercising by running across the many decks of the ship while Amy kept time. Speeding thru the training deck. Which was turned into a mile long racing track from which Sonic has been doing laps for an hour. While Amy originally interested at the situation got bored and ix now reading a magazine from a slate with a pink and white casing with a Sonic the hedgehog keychain. With slates being a combination of smart phones and tablets in a wafer thin rectangle with two handles on each end and serving the functions of both gadgets making said devices obsolete. Viewing a hologram of the latest Space sports illustrated she flips the holograms pages just like a paper book.
Babylon Rogues win the EXGP for the third time!
Famed thieves/Extreme gear racing team. The Babylon rogues have won the Extreme Gear Grand Prix for their third consecutive time. A sports dynasty in the making the three member team managed to take first place in Planet Cittin's Grand cathedral racetrack amidst rumors of the season being prematurely shut down after several systems have declared open war against the central government. Galactic champion Jet the Hawk had this to say to the press.

Said laugh continued on uninterrupted for seven minutes.
"Well I see Jet is doing well." Amy remarks as Sonic heads to Amy looking at the newspaper. "So Jet huh?" Sonic comments in annoyance. "Well it has been three years Sonic." "Yeah, yeah, but we both know that I would beat Jet if he didn't cheat." Referring to the Babylon garden incident when Sonic and Jet raced in the first EXGP. Which while originally made and funded by Robotnik corp but afterwards had quickly become its own thing, Thanks to the star power of the Babylon rogues and Jet the hawk, the undefeated champion of Extreme gear. And then a ship wide alarm blared out across the ship which everyone heard. Leaving Sonic and Amy surprised, Tails and Gekkou hopping onto an EX gear and a walker respectively, and Knuckles falling over backwards in his chair as Kon gains a grim expression. "So, they found us." Before getting up and summoning his castle shield weapon.
Wicked class carrier, Parasite
In the bridge of the Parasite the sole remnant of the Burial fleet. Captain, or now Admiral Perry since everyone above him is dead. Is witnessing the operation as he twirls his long and thin blonde mustache. A large top heavy human male with an oddly chubby and bald baby face with beady blue eyes and very thin legs. "So the agents have launched huh? I still wonder why we can't just use the drones." Perry muses to himself as he looks at a photo of his parents whose mother is just as blonde and tall as Perry while his father was short, pudgy, and had the exact same face. "An admiral at twenty. I wonder what mama and papa would think?" Perry is brought back to reality as his childhood friend and science officer, Doctor Voc Oldenbarnevelt. Better known as Doctor Voc since his last name is stupidly long. A strange robot design with a large bullet shaped head and a gangly copper colored body. Wearing only a white lab coat with the IFS logo in it as well as red rimmed safety glasses. Apparently Voc is from a certain model of robots a Karakuri which same similar designs. "So, belated congratulations on your promotion, I guess." Voc commented to an unamused Perry. "Are promotions the only thing you care about Doctor?" "Of course old friend. If it weren't for our separate fields, I would stab you in the back. Now, lets enjoy, PRRRROMOTIONS!" Perry merely ignores his compatriot and complains. "Still will those two assassins do the job? They are goddamn psychopaths after all." Voc reassures the admiral noting that while they be crazy. Their powers will more than make up for it.
Suddenly Voc raises his voice into a loud hot-blooded pitch. "Essence Stealer is a Kron. A species of boron based lifeforms capable of arcane magic. With Stealer being banished off-world due to using the forbidden magic of necromancy. A crime that would normally get you executed. But as a Boron based organism. She would violently explode in any area with oxygen. And her necromancy allows her to eat souls and then either use their powers or summon them as an army. Driving her to travel the cosmos in search of worthy souls to eat. And Alex Kidd is simply obsessed with killing Sonic. I haven't seen someone as hateful aside from the grand general. His ability to create portals allow him to bypass any security field that prevents teleportation. And his fists are huge. They are big meaty claws!" Voc then lowers his voice and returns to his normal segmented speech patterns. "Anyways, you shouldn't worry, they will die." Perry simply shrugs up his subordinate muttering. "Free promotion day, huh? I doubt that will last."
The Starpatrol, again.
The ships alarm blare as a recently arrived Stealer and Alex Kidd gain their bearings with Alex who is now wearing a fancy and well pressed red business suit with a golden tie who is now cursing in frustration. "Scrap, we're already caught! Then again this is Tails ship." Stealer meanwhile summons a group of his captured souls as familiars. The five-some is composed of Ogi from Phantasy star Zero. A CAST with a white knight mecha design reminiscent of the Talgeese with a photon rifle. Suzume Amano, a Puella magi in white with flame powers and an orange bladed greatsword with a silver hilt. Wearing barely anything aside a distinctive silver long coat with white accents and thigh high stocking shoes. A Minotaur wielding a great axe with a necklace made of human skulls. Bass and Treble from Megaman. A black armored robot master with a distinctive cobra helmet and a buster arm cannon alongside his support unit a large and mechanical purple wolf. And finally, Lanky Kong from the Donkey Kong series. A clownish orangutan-like Kong with a red nose and blue suspenders. Notable for his arms which are so long that they reach the ground. These warriors were all defeated and killed by Stealer and are now her slaves.
With a mere motion the summons scatter with Essence telling Alex that they should move before shooting the security camera. This was all witnessed by Tails who using his wonderhand has more or less slaved the entire ship under his control. As the duo rush thru the hallways. Sonic meanwhile takes point as he uses his speed to go directly to the assassins while Amy follows readying her hammer while Knuckles and Kon lock down the bridge. Maintaining their course in order to leave the area. "How long until we can warp?" "One hour Knuckles, if we're lucky." "Great! Maybe you should try that henshin thing you aliens are so fond of?" "Sorry my henshin is scrap now thanks to Ash. I had to overload it in order to not get crushed and exploded. So even though I survived I can no longer transform." "Shit!"
Sonic and Amy are intercepted by Bass and Treble. A fact that shocks Sonic. "Bass, what are you doing here?" Bass is silent as he arms his buster, charging it up as he aimed at Sonic's head. Amy intercepts Bass with her hammer causing the shot to hit the roof simply telling Sonic to go. The hedgehog nods as he boosts away, the shockwaves taking out Treble who tried to stop Sonic. Bass didn't even care as he started shooting at Amy who dodges and deflects the plasma fire. Before grabbing her hammer with both hands raising it up and using it to pancake the robot master's head into pieces. Slinging the hammer back the pinkette remarks. "Well that was easy." But then the pieces of the head reattach themselves reviving Bass and began to fight again. With a revived Treble lunging forward and helping his master to double team Amy.
Tails and Gekkou exited an elevator that led to the engine block. As the duo gets out of said elevator, Gekkou pushes Tails away as the Minotaur bum rushes the duo and tackling Gekkou out of a railing and onto the lower floor. As Ogi takes aim at Tails and fires. With the later scrambling for cover as he rolls a smoke bomb that blinds the CAST who simply switches his visor settings and continues shooting. While Tails takes cover in a raised defense plate where the fox boy readies his glove and using a swift swinging motion fires a laser that shreds Ogi in half before using a Gatling function to continue shooting at the summon which keeps attempting to regenerate. "Gekkou, don't let these guys take out the engine!" "Easier said than done." The transformed dragonkin remarks as the Minotaur continues his push forward. Swinging his ax at Crossbone who can barely defend by parrying and constant attempts to freeze the beast solid. As the beast breaks Gekkou's guard, she fires off a massive ice dragon that finally pushes away her foe. Freezing the Minotaur from the inside and seemingly defeating him. The monster tries to break free but the ice pins it down even more. Until he is finally frozen. Unable to move, regenerate, or return to Stealer.
Tails runs out of energy and is forced to recharge as Ogi seemingly dissolves into dust and scatters due to the wind. Tails, confused about what happened looks around, unaware that Ogi's arm and gun manifested from the dust before slapping Tails with his rifle. Causing him to fly off as the enemy CAST fully regenerates as he fires photon shotgun shots over and over until Tails crashes into one of the generators. Walking towards him as he prepares from a Photon blast. Tails simply smiles as Ogi finds himself stuck by some sort of gun that explodes. Blowing off his feet as he falls on the floor. Tails summons his Trigger wispon as a gun and inserts the Void emblem. Teleporting away as a black hole appears above Ogi sucking him away into the depths of space where he freezes solid. Gekkou then shows up behind Tails freaking him out. "I see that you also won." She says in an emotionless tone. "Anyways it seems that freezing a summon will stop them." Gekkou then points out at the still frozen Minotaur. "Anyways let's go."
Lanky meanwhile is stuck banging on the shuttered cockpit door while Kon and Knuckles are kept on guard with Kon trailing his shield's bottom mounted Gatling gun in his shield at the door.
Sonic is still running towards Alex and Stealer dodging the attacks of Suzune who teleports around the area to catch up to Sonic who dodges the attacks. Before using his Trigger Wispon sword to fend her off. Using the quake emblems boost drive to pin Suzume down with a series of pillars followed by the lightning drive boost drive to jump into and electrified rider kick that demolishes said pillars and demolishes Suzune before running off. As Sonic reaches the hallway where the galley is he is intercepted by Alex who gives him a punch that tosses him right into a steel table that shatters from the blow. "Guess whose back nigga! It's me! Alex Kidd! And now I'm back with a sweet new 40,000 meseta suit! Just look at this sweet croc leather!" Sonic then blitzes and tackles Alex to the floor as he begins to repeatedly punch him head screaming at him to die. When Suzume shows up and blasts Sonic away. Meanwhile Stealer is watching all of this from a distance, noticing that something is happening to her minions. Leading her to slink away as Sonic, Alex, and Suzume who knocks away Sonic with another kick and then goes back to help her ally up.
Amy is fighting Treble who lunges at Amy. Slashing and biting as Amy swats off the support unit with Bass breaking up the fight with his buster shots. Then dash tackling the pink hedgehog while Treble backs his master up by firing charged breath shots. Amy in a desperate bid inserts the rocket and drill emblems into the two slots located at the bottom causing a burst of energy that drives back Bass and Treble as the Piko Piko hammer grows a drill and a rocket engine in the head of the hammer which activate and launch off Amy across the hall before laying down the hammer on both robots. "Lets go! Raketenhammer!" Cracking the areas dimensional walls and sending Amy into a gravity less grey void with pictures of other locales swirling across the void all the while her fur started glowing gold for a few moments before returning back to normal. Amy tries to get back by essentially swimming only for Super Bass to show up behind her and unleash a V. Maximum Overdrive on her. Badly beating her up to the point where she almost passes out.
"Sonic..." Amy thinks as memories of her life flash before her. Her childhood at Avalon, learning about Sonic from the use of her tarot cards. Being kidnapped several times to the point where she became determined to stand next to Sonic. Running without rest to unlock her hedgehog gene with grants her super speed and its related secondary powers, boxcersizing alongside Emerl and Cream. And the many adventures she had along the way. Her tarot cards began to glow as Amy regained her bearings. Witnessing as Bass was about to finish her off all topped with a wicked and bloodthirsty grin with a super charged shot. Amy closes her eyes as Bass fires with the shot being blocked by a barrier of tarot cards that serve as a barrier that deflects the blast all across the area as Amy's fur changes from pink to gold.

Amy looks at hands realizing that she is now golden like Super Sonic with tarot cards surrounding her like a barrier. But her bangs have gotten frizzier and her front quills are pointing upwards. Complete with red eyes that shoot out electricity she stares at Super Bass with determination as he peppers Amy with his rapid shots fired from both arms which all bounce off her barrier. "Sonic, I have finally reached you." Amy flashes back to the classic days where she was chasing Sonic, then when she fought Sonic atop the Hexa-eco building, and the time where she fought alongside Sonic Arc transforming into a sword to defeat Kickback. "And you, you're a fake!" Bass is then cut apart by the tarot cards only for the pieces to recover and for him to fly off as he charges a very powerful blow. Amy gives chase and even overtakes him. Which was part of Bass plan as he fires off a darkness overload right in front other. With the two landing on the racetrack from another dimensional break. With Amy barely managing to recover as Bass flies above her. "Good thing I don't have to worry about the time limit." Amy internally notes as sixty-five seconds have already passed. The two then begin to trade blows reaching a stalemate with neither side being able to bypass their enemies defenses. Yet the fight continued until Tails appeared and use his lightning emblem to conjure an electric whip from his Trigger Wispon that binds Bass long enough for Gekkou to flash freeze him. Amy wanted to shatter him but Gekkou stops her, warning the hedgehog about Stealer's powers. And thus he is left there as the three decide to split up after Tails informs everyone of the situation. With Gekkou heading to Sonic to eliminate Suzune. And Tails alongside Super Amy would head to the bridge to stop Stealer whom had already reached the area. Although Amy is hesitant, the trio head their separate ways. With Amy rushing forward at top speed.
During all the fights a certain crate that was left alone began to stir. Sayaka and Kyoko now trapped in their cargo crate wonder what is happened when they notice that a sword exploded from a crate and started floating before flying away with such force that it pierces the reinforced doors sealing the cargo bay. "You know Kyoko chan, it's a shame that we can't get out now." "What is going on outside anyways?" "Just ignore it for now." "Sayaka... I'm hungry." Sayaka moans in frustration as the duo tries to break out but no avail.
The sword itself sped thru the ship. It is a beautiful blade with a shining white blade and a large dragon faced hilt that covered most of said hilt with the pummel being inside and connected to the hilt which allows it to serve as a shield and hand guard as well. The swords eyes open as the voice of a noble knight could be heard from it. "Wait fot me Sonic; For its time to show those cowards our code of chivalry!"

Sonic is fighting off Suzune and Alex using twin Trigger swords to block and parry their attacks in what is essentially a dance of dead. Alex switches from Rock Janken to Scissor Janken which shatters the twin blades. Alex then switches to paper as Suzume leaps from behind for a killing blow. Noticing it, Sonic boost dodges at the last second leading to Alex and Suzune striking each other. Injuring each other with their attacks leading to the former to angrily punch the latters head off. And then taking her sword before regenerating goes against Sonic alone. But unable to use Suzune's flames and lacking any skill or training was only able to use it as a club with clunky blows that Sonic easily dodges before counterattacking. Before a speeding Caliburn clobbers Alex unconscious causing the sword to fly back to Suzume and the former to place himself in Sonic's arms allowing him to block a high powered flaming overhead slash. "What kind of fiendish sorcery is this?!" Caliburn comments before he and Sonic push back and go on the offensive. Conversing with each other as they traded blows. "Caliburn?! What are you?!" "Miss Merlina thought that you could use some assistance after the spiral island incident. And it seems that she was right." "You've gotta be kidding me! Still isn't that just a summon?" "No, Sonic, that creature is an enslaved soul! The same kind of forbidden sorcery that created the dark army!" That comment actually caught Sonic's attention. As even he had an idea of taboo magic and how soul manipulating magic was punishable by death. "How?! Stealer is a famous mercenary! How could?! No..." With one good strike Suzume has her sword tossed away and when she tried to get it back. Sonic sliced her right arm off with Caliburn preventing her from regenerating before the latter boasted. "Caliburn is a holy sword powered by the world itself. There is nothing it cannot sever! Even regeneration magic!" For the first time Suzume feels an emotion, that of fear. And then let's loose with her fire magic. Only for Sonic to go Super and tank the flames with ease. Leaving Caliburn flabbergasted at the sight. As Sonic slowly walks thru the ever more ferocious inferno all the while Sonic places a new emblem one on the left side of the hilt. The world ring emblem which causes the sword to glow white as light erupt from the blade.

Suzume then gets a point blank excalibast to the face. Which wrecks the entire deck, shattering the very reality that was contained within like a sheet of glass. Leaving it as nothing but an empty room. When Suzume tries to regenerate her ashes are frozen by Gekkou who questions what just happened. Caliburn then introduces himself with Gekkou noticing that the sword has been enhanced with Reibai technology. "Indeed I was miss Gekkou. Miss Merlina commissioned the modifications from a strange black knight." A comment that both Sonic and Gekkou take note of. "Damn! Are we being played by Kagemusha again?!" Sonic thinks to himself as he informed about the situation. With Gekkou getting in her walker again and heading out the door.
Now alone with Caliburn, Sonic asks him. "So, if you're here here then what happened in Camelot?" Caliburns response was a somber silence which left Sonic speechless. "Let's go Caliburn. We need to help the others. Sonic then dashes away and out of the training deck.
Back outside the locked away bridge. Lanky is still banging on the door for about twenty minutes to no avail. When Stealer shows up and summons back Lanky into herself. "How annoying! My essences have been defeated!" The frozen warriors souls return to her with Super Bass charging his busters once again. "But I shall not be denied my ESSENCE!" Bass fires a massive continuous beam that serves as a welding torch in an attempt to blow a hole thru the shutters. Causing them to budge and melt as Bass' weapons break down until both of his arms explode. But it did succeed in melting the door. A deed that is met by Kon firing off an under-slug grenade and then fires off a stream of bullets from his shield. With Stealer using her summons as shields to block the attacks as their master leaps away to safety. And then firing off a wave of skeletons which Knuckles intercepts by punching the corpse tide into pieces. Kon then steadies his shield and begins his charge. Powering thru an endless wave of bodies as Stealer cackles with glee. With Knuckles following the elderly dog and helping him to close the distance by pushing him. Kon then expands his shield, transforming into a giant cross like shield that fires off micro missiles at Stealer which actually hurt her. Then changing it into a large oval buckler with a massive spike at the end and lunges at Stealer which forces her to flee the scene. Knuckles then asks Kon "Let's chase them!" only to find that he is exhausted and on his knees. "Curse these injuries!" Knuckles then lifts Kon up and helps him get back into the bridge.
Attempting to escape via the vehicle hangar. Essence Stealer attempts to steal a Tornado in order to escape only to fail and then attempts to get into the Waltzer. "The plane doesn't work but the robot will. These things are always easy to steal. It will be just like gundam and." Then she finds out that the cockpit cannot be activated due to lacking an ignition device. "Oh no!" And before scrambling to another ship before getting tagged by a grappling beam and tossed onto the ground by Tails who had reached the hangar after being informed by the ship's security. "Oh, its just the fox... Get in my belly!" Stealer then fires off dark tendrils in order to devour Tails essence but is countered by Tails going super. Now being a golden being with red eyes. Spikier hair, and with his twin tails changing into five energy constructs shaped like fox tails whose aura burns Stealer's body inside the suit due to the backfire effect. With tails firing off his Tails which tie up Stealer and then then slams her around the hangar. Slamming her thru the walls, floors, and railings before dunking her into a nearby dumpster.
"Tails, I found Knuckles and Kon! They are alright and the bunker is secured!" "Thanks Amy! Now all I need to do is get rid of this creature." Stealer falls on herself as she gets out of the dumpster. "Give it up alien! You can't win!" After hearing this Stealer goes mad muttering the word essence over and over as she summons hundreds of mutated beasts. In desperation Tails fires off a stream of lightning that causes a chain reaction that causes he summons to explode around her. Shredding her protective suit in the process exposing her to the oxygen in the air. Causing her body to start swelling quickly. Her silvery black skin breaking apart as flesh and bone erupted from the Kon's body as blue blood erupted from ever growing boils as Stealer screamed in ever increasing agony in front of a horrified Tails who backs off until tripping off a platform and falling to the lower level of the hangar as Stealer grew and grew until combusting and exploding in a dark explosions as the screams of millions of souls could be heard as a powerful shockwave shredded the hangar. With Tails barely making it out due to his accidental trip and fall. "What just happened?" The kitsune wondered as he returned to his base form and got up only to realize that the hangar is in ruin. With the vehicles and equipment all in various states of damage.
Meanwhile Sonic was attempting to fully subdue Suzume while fighting Alex. The Puella magi continued fighting even with one arm and falling to pieces. Using her sword and flames to distract Sonic as Alex used hit and run tactics. She then started spitting out scalding ash which hits both of the other combatants. Which lead to both Sonic and Alex to take out Suzume and continuing their fight as Suzune put herself together. Until Gekkou joins the fight and freezes the wraith. Before helping in the fight against Alex. With both sword wielders overwhelming Alex until Suzume simply vanishes. Leaving nothing but crushed ice in its wake.
In the bridge the group is informed by Tails that Stealer blew up. Kon explained. "Kron are boron based organisms. The only reason that they leave the planet is when they are banished and sent to die." Yet another alarm blares out with Knuckles reporting. "This is bad. Drones, drones, and more drones. And one of those Burial fleet ships. Only much bigger." Kon and Amy look on in horror as the Parasite and his compliment open fire leading Kon to take evasive action. "Knuckles, Amy, ready the warp! We're going to have to leave early!" The other two went to their stations and began their work.
Inside the Parasite, Perry and Voc watch as their forces open fire on the Starpatrol. Voc remarks. "And here I thought we were going to leave the job to the mercenaries?" Perry looks at his console which showed the bio-signs of Alex and Stealer. " One of the hunters is dead and the other one is getting his ass kicked. We are not letting those rebels escape! Not after the killed Admiral Nacht! All forces! Shoot down that scum!" Then the Starpatrol went into warp, leaving the Parasite in the dust and Perry with eyes like dinner plates. "I guess we were late old friend." Perry then snaps and begins throttling Voc in anger. "What are you waiting for! Track that ship!" After hearing that the crew instantly went to work ignoring their commanders plight.
Alex notices that the Starpatrol has escaped and curses inwardly about it. "Power! I need more power!" Before being punted by Sonic into the floor with Gekkou pointing her sword at the bounty hunters neck. "Give up, now." Alex bangs his fists on the ground before using his portal to escape. Finally ending the fight as Gekkou de-transforms while Sonic falls flat on his butt with Caliburn floats around both of them commenting. "Well it's nice to know that this is over." The group then gets pinged by Tails who tells them to get to the hangar.
Everyone returns to the hangar where they find Tails assessing the damage while profanely cursing out the deceased villainess out. With whatever was left of her corpse being unceremoniously dumped in the dumpster alongside scrap that could not be salvaged. "So, what's the situation buddy?" Sonic asks Tails with apprehension in his voice. After calming down Tails explains that both the hangar and vehicles have been wrecked. And that the only ones undamaged were the Extreme gear and Kayter that Tails and Gekkou used to move around. And that while Tails could fix most of it. They will have to land on a port somewhere.
After some thought Kon suggests. "I believe that if we need repairs then we should head to the Milky rim sector." Gekkou comments. "But the Milky rim is as it says. The rim of the Milky way galaxy." "Yes, but that is the territory of the space mafia. Planet Shratta has a sizable port with all the amenities." Amy asks. "Isn't Shratta where Colosso is located?" Kon answers with. "That would be Von Saturnus another planet in the Carpaccio system. Shratta is a desert gambling town so to speak. If we can avoid Granta we will be able to make our repair without any problem." Sonic then states. "Then I guess we're going to Shratta. After all the government keeps its distance from the underworld ports."
The Starpatrol breaks out of warp for a moment as it adjusts its course before warping again.
Now we return to the Parasite
We find ourselves in the private quarters of admiral Perry who is throwing a tantrum over his defeat. With Alex Kidd returning in shame and the confirmation that Essence Stealer is dead. With neither of them being able to do anything to stop the crew of the Starpatrol. "Its so unfair! To be humiliated by some hicks in the middle of nowhere!" A screen pops up from behind Perry showing the face of the grand general herself, Mami Tomoe. Admiral Perry obviously shat himself at the sight. "Admiral, did you really fail to stop the Rebellion?! You are aware that the separatists were not allowed to escape, right?" "Actually grand general, we lost to a single ship." Mami glares thru her mask terrifying Perry with her murderous aura. "Apparently the ID codes of the ship showed that it was the long lost Akatsuki." After hearing that Mami begins to laugh at the information. "Return to the Deikum. I have a new assignment for you." Mami cuts communications as Perry wheezes in terror. Realizing that he crapped his pants.
"The Akatsuki huh? From what I understand that ship is famous but the other three were destroyed. What the hell have I gotten myself into? Never mind if I don't follow orders i'll be lucky if the general killed me." Perry gets up and leaves the room in order to head to the bridge.
New Solaris, Soleanna, Planet Mobius
After many months of aimless wondering, Genma Vy has wandered into the city of New Solaris. Now hiding herself with a tattered brown cloak she walks across the streets as people watched. She even ran from a group of policemen who confused her for yet another war refugee. Which is true. But she could not stop. Not until she got her revenge. She then stumbles onto a large cathedral built to honor Solaris. A tall arched building with gold painted decorations and a marble fountain on the front bearing the Soleannan crest, a golden eagle spreading its wings with a ruby gem in the center. Overcome with inspiration the dragonkin enters the cathedral and walks across the cavernous insides. Then finding a bench where she sits in and prays.
"God I know i'm not much of a religious dragon. But here I am humbling myself before you. So god, please, please, please! Kill Sonic the hedgehog and his friends!" The room remains silent as a nun who overhears what Genma said flees to get to a public use slate in order to report her to GUN. After several moments of silence Genma slumps down in despair. "Sister..." Then a tear in reality opens atop the cathedral which Genma doesn't notice until a drip of black goo lands on her arm. Followed by a black deluge that drenches her. Getting into her body as she screams for help thru her orifices. The nun appears again and looks on horror. Screaming to her plate for the police as Genma gets up and notices her. Taking off her glasses while showing a pair of green slit pupil eyes to the terrified woman who is then impaled by a purple crystal shot out of Genma's arm before leaving.

Wakaba and the Kemuri are the descendants of the cast of Kemurikusa. The fact that they share the same world comes from both a fan theory and fan comic that suggested that both series were set in the same world. With this Wakaba being a direct descendant of Wakaba and Rin. While most Kemuris are born from Midori trees. Wakaba is part of the genome caste which can crossbreed with other species and add to the collective gene pool.
Kanzaki heavy industries is Sumire's company from Sakura Wars. The New Tokyo Revue appeared in Sonic Arc 1 when they helped Sonic fight Ciseaux. And this is part of the payoff. The Temjin itself is named after the character from Virtual-On and it and its packs are all references to the Strike Gundam.
The latex spacesuits are homages to Sonic in space where Sonic needed a spacesuit to breathe unlike Sonic X. And yes, the furries can't breathe in space line is a jab towards Sonic X and how the animal people could breathe in space. While Chris and Eggman couldn't.
A lot of the drinks are blatant references to either real life or fictional references. Coke, Pepsi, and 7-UP are obvious. Campa Cola is a real life soft drink from India from before its economic liberalization and still exists today. E-Tanks are a Megaman reference. Mainly the Ruby Spears cartoon where they were drank, Slurm and Soylent cola are from Futurama, Wily Beer is a brand of beer from Bob and George which alongside the Mechanical Maniacs inspired the original drafts of the story as a Madoka fic. Dracula's blood drinks is blood. And Banana Slamma is a Donkey Kong country reference.
Perry and Voc are references to Matthew Perry and Johan van Oldenbarnevelt. And while Perry is a legitimate American whose family and service can be traced back to the pre-third history era. Voc is the son of a billionaire who bought the family name for the sake of prestige. Voc's status an design a Karakuri actually come from Scud the disposable assassin a 90's indie comic. While Perry is cut whole cloth from Space Dandy, mainly Dr. Gel.
Kron's are organoboron based lifeforms. A hypothetical form of alien life composed of pyrophoric substances which rarely leave their world due to their molecular composition. Short and squat humanoids with silvery black skin large craniums without ears and a beak like snout, And capable of great feats of strength and durability as their skeletons are comparable to carbon fiber rods. Making them light and agile as well.
